Vegan? Check. Many hard AND soft serve flavor options? Check. An amazing list of toppings? Check. Pistachio ice cream? AMAZING 🤩🎉 Like No Udder is really one of a kind - the sheer amount of options combined with how delicious every single one is makes it hard to beat, and the fact that it is vegan makes it all the better. Don't get me wrong I love dairy ice cream, but having the pistachio and chocolate ice cream with toasted coconut toppings made me a believer. The ice cream was cashew based (EDIT: I initially thought it was coconut based but the kind owner explained it was cashew based, must've been those delicious coconut toppings 😋) but I don't think it was overwhelming and it worked well with the flavor combination. I seriously can't recommend the pistachio enough - it is flavorful but not overwhelming, not salty, and the pistachios are the perfect consistency.

So many amazing options and flavors to choose from! I went with the strawberry and coffee oreo flavors in a waffle cone and was thoroughly impressed! I'm used to only having one to three nondairy options at ice cream spots so to find this vegan hidden gem is a game- changer! We will definitely be back!

This is a window-service ice cream shop with all non-dairy soft and hard serve selections. I visited on a weekday evening in early September and this shop seemed to have a consistent flow of patrons. As other reviewers noted, they do not permit samples. I tried the vanilla shake and medium-sized bowl with one scoop of Thai tea and a scoop of cookies and cream flavored ice cream ($12 total). Everything tasted freshly homemade. I appreciated the creamy and smooth texture of the ice cream which didn't melt too fast. Although my friend seemed to enjoy their milkshake, we agreed that the ice cream lacked flavor, especially compared to traditional non-dairy ice cream. For example, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of tea and cream flavor of the Thai tea flavor and the vanilla shake seemed to actually lack that sweet vanilla flavor of a vanilla shake. The cookie bits in the cookies and cream were clutch for the cookies and cream ice cream, as I didn't taste much 'cream'. 4 stars for the amazing ice cream texture and variety of flavors for those with dietary restrictions. The customer service was also wonderful. The scoops were small and a bit pricey and we were hoping for more flavor. It would help to resume samples.

Amaaaaaazing ice cream and slushies. Like better than dels lemonade slushies and tasted so fresh. My partner got the hazelnut cookies and cream and it was so freaking good (and side note: I literally hate ice cream so that’s saying something). 11/10 recommend stopping here for ice cream, slushies, or a snack. Can’t believe I am just discovering this place. So good. They employees were amazing as well and even asked if we had any food allergies. Service was just as the ice cream!!

Love the concept and the ice cream is pretty good. The last two times I’ve gone my ice cream has had a little bit of an icey texture and was not as creamy as I remember. Nice selection of flavors and options. Very aware and intentional about accommodating nut and other food allergies.

Delicious!! Like No Udder has great soft serve with an array of topic options. Soft serve comes in vanilla, chocolate, or both. They also have hard scoop options, which I haven’t tried but looked great. Also, all of the ice cream is vegan!! The staff are kind and accommodating. There is a small outdoor patio area to sit and enjoy your ice cream - excellent for a warm sunny day! Definitely recommend!

Like No Udder is amazing! They have all vegan ice cream and snacks, and their ice cream cookie sandwiches are the best. You can pre-order a lot of items online for pick up, and or they have a to-go window. When the inside was open they had some seating and cat videos playing on a loop. They've also had a lot of pop up events for local vegan businesses. One of my fav things about them is their Mitzvah board (you can buy an ice cream for someone who needs one). The ice cream is yummy, atmosphere is laid back, staff is great, and the prices are affordable.

Love the idea of this place and am excited to see things like this keep opening. I got the cookies and creme ice cream sandwich. The cookies were great but the ice cream did just taste like unsweetened almond milk to me. But my boyfriend got the soft serve and absolutely loved it! He never likes the lactose-free alternative type things even though he's lactose intolerant, but loved it! We'll definitely go again.

I had to give up dairy years ago and have tried hard vegan ice cream since then and it’s ok, but I have truly missed soft serve as it was my absolute favorite. It’s been at least 20+ years and I do not now how they do it but I just about cried after trying their twist cone I got tonight! The flavors and textures were so spot on that after that first taste, wonderful memories just flooded back of getting soft serve in the summer with my parents when I was little. Thank you! I cannot wait to visit Providence (and Like No Udder) again.

This was by far the best dairy free ice cream I have had! The flavors I had were amazing ! The gluten free peanut butter Oreo and the kitchen sink ! You can’t even tell you are eating dairy free ice cream! Will definitely be back !

Love coming here and having an ice cream. They have a small seating area but the location is also perfect for going on a walk around the neighborhood. Must visit if visiting PVD.

My first experience with vegan ice cream and I’m surprised that there’s really no difference between it and non vegan iced cream. I wished they had a bit more flavors available but what they had was decent. This place was pricey and even the toppings were expensive. If you’re in the area, definitely make a stop by. Great experience overall! They also give free samples if you are unsure what to get.

The best vegan ice cream I've ever had! I'm not vegan, and this place beats dairy based ice cream every time. Their Mitzvah board is so heartwarming, and I've use it a few times when I wanted a treat, but couldn't afford it. I never feel unwelcome here. Plus they often host pop ups of other local vegan businesses, and sell pins and handmade items from local artists! What a great place!

Loved it. My sundae was just perfect, rocky road .and hazelnut cherry ice cream, hot fudge .and peanut butter sauce, topped with soft serve. Can't get much better. Karen the owner was super nice and lets you try everything to make sure you get the right thing for you. It's one of these few shops with a big heart and soul. They definitely put as lot of thought and love into their product. Thanks for making my trip there worthwhile.

Soft serve twist was pretty flavorless sadly but the texture is great. Also they aren't allowed to let you sample flavors "since Covid" which is absurd. I work at a popular ice cream company in Boston and we have been giving samples again ever since the mask mandate ended so I don't know that the issue could be. Just overall disappointing. Don't hate it though

I've enjoyed a few frozen treats from Like No Udder, which have ranged from being guilt-free and delicious to "I wish I had chosen an-udder place to get dessert". I believe this might be entirely flavor dependent, as I've had a thai iced tea milkshake here which was flavorful and poignant and then had a mint shake (a Shamrock pretender) which was less appetizing than my toothpaste. Such might be the trade off with all vegan imitations of cruelly induced dairy desserts, I am willing to return to find out.

Like no Udder is one of the best vegan spots in Providence. Everything in store is vegan and the staff are always friendly and happy to explain any information about avoiding food allergies and ordering exactly what you want. They have a number of classic flavors for their hard ice cream options - chocolate, vanilla, black forest cherry, peanut butter Oreo etc and then lots of fun, surprising ones including an excellent Thai Iced Tea flavor (my favorite!). They also have vanilla and chocolate soft serve, a decent little hot drink selection, and lots of fun ways to style your ice cream - float, sandwich, etc. Currently they are only doing walk up window service but there are lots of parks within a few blocks where you can sit down and enjoy.

If you did not know that they serve Vegan only, it would have been hard to guess for you to say that it was not made of dairy. Place offers a decent selection of flavors and a good selection of toppings. Though the scoop size is probably smaller than the other places I've been too. I was a little disappointed in the Waffle cone. I felt that it was not as fresh and delicious as ones offered at many other ice cream places. Coming back to ice cream, it was delicious and was just the right amount of sweet. Street parking available in the area.

What's not to love about this adorable shop? They have a great location, great staff, and are active in the community. They offer an amazing selection of entirely vegan, house-made ice cream flavors including soft serve! On top of this they offer delicious baked goods and vegan specialty goods that you just can't find anywhere else.

If you're lactose intolerant this is the ice cream spot for you. They use coconut milk as the base for their ice cream instead of regular milk and you can hardly tell the difference. Great place to buy kanishes if they're not already sold out. The line can sometimes wrap around the building, but it goes quickly and it's worth the wait.

My family and I were in Providence and stumbled upon this ice cream window. We were excited and ordered, not knowing it was vegan. There was no signage explaining that outside. This is probably a wonderful place to get vegan ice cream. My family and I were just expecting a different flavor and taste. The service was great!

Great vibes, wonderful owners, and super tasty treats, it's hard to go wrong here but I'm a big fan of the key lime pie flavor of hard ice cream (soft serve is also great too, especially as a float). Plus they carry a small selection of other hard to find vegan items. Perfect for sunny Providence afternoon!

Was hesitant about vegan ice cream, but decided to stop by after my girlfriend had a craving. It was surprisingly delicious and still had the creamy texture of dairy based ice cream. Vegan ice cream that is delicious! There are numerous options to choose from and options rotate frequently so there is often something new. The owners and employees are friendly and love to chat. There is a lot of information on vegan living and vegan items to try out. Sometimes you have a bit of a line to wait in and serving sizes are small compared to other ice cream shops; but this is a healthier, less wasteful practice. We visit here all the time and love it.

I can’t say enough about this place! The vegan ice cream is AMAZING!!!! For a while I was getting the scooped ice cream. Then, one day I went and the lines were out the door! Had a great event going on. So, I decided to get a sundae! Amazing! Vegan whipped cream! So filling. Now, when I go it’s a tough choice. So to make it easy, I get a sundae for there and scooped ice cream to go. I always get hot fudge & caramel! Yes, all vegan. The place also has an amazing staff. The owner is personable. Always great conversations. I want everyone-vegan or not, to go here. You’ll definitely enjoy. Can you say, “best ice cream EVER”!

Vegan is different and not for everyone. There’s not a lot of options and half of them have a coconut base. Vanilla is only in soft serve which is weird. I found the flavor off and at $4 a scoop not worth it. The staff is friendly and it’s clean. Just didn’t care for the product.

Delicious ice cream! While I'm not vegan, I'm lactose intolerant, I really really enjoy this ice cream. The food truck doesn't serve hard ice cream but the soft serve is just as tasty as the hard serve. There's quite a selection of flavors at the storefront and the staff are always nice! There's also a cool supply of vegan foods such as vegan jerky, nutrtional yeaat, and even soy curls! If you want to try out something new and experience vegan ice cream, definitely check this place out.

So I liked this place already. The ice cream is awesome and the place is funky but now I like it even more. My family was in the mood for ice cream so we called to see if the were open. The owner answered and said that they were not open but she was in the shop working and we were welcome to come by. So we did and it was fantastic. Karen is a true hospitality professional. We didn't realize, but the ice cream is dairy free! It was still delicious! Don't go here if you have a nut allergy. But, they are aware of food allergies and even ask if you have an allergy before dishing out the ice cream! We would go back when in the area.

I have been following the vegan ice cream truck around for years and am so glad they moved to a storefront location! There are many more delicious options including soft serve unicorns (which are similar to DQ's Blizzard) and vegan sundaes. I have taken non-vegans here and they love it too! So in love with like no udder. They originally started as an ice cream truck then expanded in their own shoppe. The soft serve is my favorite, but their hard ice cream is great. Their Thai tea is uniquely delicious. They're also so nice. I come down from Boston just for the ice cream.

Like No Udder totally rocks my world! Their ice cream is so creamy, smooth, and delicious that I'd be there every day if I lived closer, so it's probably good that I don't! Cute and very easy-to-locate storefront with ample seating and cat art for fellow cat lovers (a huge cat painting in their bathroom comes to mind). They also carry wonderfully unique and creative flavors like Thai Iced Tea and Coconut Mango, but have some classics too like Peanut Butter Cup, Coffee, and vanilla/choco soft serve. Service is fast and friendly, and the owners don't forget a face--they recognized me on my second trip to the store, which provided for a fun and pleasant interaction. They are very passionate about and are very gifted at their craft. Definitely wouldn't be a happy vegan without their frozen treats!

I've just finished my first Like No Udder sundae and, uh, omg. I am seriously beyond stuffed from finishing the medium (but I had to- the Unicorn Poop & Pistachio were melting together so beautifully). Pair this ice cream with the lovely folks behind the counter & the twee vegan art and you have the ice cream shop of my dreams! Definitely will be back.

A friend took me here after a yoga sound bath...perfect end to a relaxing night. Like no udder is perfect for celiacs like myself and those who are lactose intolerant. They offer gluten free icecream cones, so you dont have to stick with the old "scoops in a cup" policy. They have assorted flavors and toppings. I tried the Almond Joyful! So good! 😍😋 Staff was friendly and attentive as well as knowledgeable about cross contamination awareness.

I love this place. It is 100% vegan, except for the fact that they use actual Oreos in the cookies and cream (which is technically not vegan). They also carry a selection of vegan snacks and groceries which is neat. 5 stars because they aren't hurting Cows. 10 stars for coming up with the name.

Five stars, nothing less. A buddy of mine and me were riding those red bikes around the town when he had to come crashing to a halt cause a squirrel was in the path, scared the heck out of us. Took buddy a whole minute to get his grips and then we took off on the bikes and rode down a really nice path the only problem is that it goes under a bridge and the water from the bridge dripped down the back of my shirt which made me uncomfortable but only for a few minutes until it mixed with my sweat and I didn't really notice it anymore. The next day I went to like no udder and I got a small cone with pistachio ice cream and the lady who works there is really nice. Parking is easy but there's no actual lot, park on a street nearby theres always a spot and don't hold the door open too long cause you'll let out all the A/C
