Reviews of Fifty Licks Ice Cream
After having a slice of pizza nearby, ice cream sounded like the perfect dessert.
My Gen Z daughter suggested we go to one of her favorite ice cream spots in SE., Fifty Licks.
We pulled up to a cute little shop and parked on the street. We got a total of three scoops of ice cream, mine a single scoop of strawberry shortcake. The total cost was $20; so it is on the expensive side, ($6 per scoop).
My ice cream was pretty good. It was decadent, rich and highly caloric, as ice cream should be. It was not the best ice cream I’ve ever had but it was pretty good.
My daughter has the bananas foster ice cream and a scoop of chocolate. The banana ice cream seem to taste a bit like frozen baby food, and the chocolate af was extremely chocolatey. If you like chocolate, you will definitely like this ice cream was like a frozen brownie melting in your mouth.
They’ve got a simple menu that’s easy to order from, friendly service, there was no line and we got our order within a few minutes.
I give it a 4 and my daughter rated it a 4.4
A must try! We were referred by Dustin (he led our biking tour when in Portland). We had to stop by and to try it. Probably one of the best ice creams I’ve had to date, my favorite being the mango sticky rice!
We really liked how the ice cream is creamy and has different chunks of food depending on the type of ice cream.
The only thing is that they only had a bench outside the establishment, i assume this is due to Covid. So being first timers it was awkward just to be hanging out since we didn’t another place to hang out at.
A double mini, split between saffron lemon and sticky mango rice vegan ice cream flavors. 👏🏼👏🏼 I could not believe these were vegan. They were so creamy. Also, super excited to see they had gluten-free waffle cones. The gluten-free waffle cone was perfectly crunchy and sturdy. …
Decent Ice Cream and some cool flavors. My only problem is that you need to order from outside and can’t see the flavors and taste them. I like seeing all the flavors an ice cream place has and probably taste the ones that are visually appealing, which I definitely missed at this location.
My husband I were looking for an ice cream place to visit but didn’t want to drive too far or go to the trendy Salt N Straw. We stumbled on Fifty Licks and we are so glad we did. My husband had the chocolate waffle cone and I couldn’t go wrong with Strawberry Cheesecake. Delicious!
Wonderful icecream selections. I endednup with the vegan Coconut Lemon Saffron. They also have regular and gluten free option.
Gotta go back to try French toast. Bananas Foster, and Mango Sticky Rice
Not a ton of flavor options, I personally prefer that, but the flavors they do have are amazing and delicious! They have vegan options and also have a g next to the small few flavors that contain gluten. So if you have either or both those dietary restrictions or love delicious and or unique flavors this place is for you!
Amazing flavors and great customer service. The Mango Sticky Rice flavor is incredible, highly recommend. Great texture with the vegan ice cream!
Nobody remembers this, but this place started as a food cart in St. Johns. It was right behind my condo, and I wish it were still there. Ah, well. Still some fabulous ice cream in a city with no shortage of good ice cream.
I love their mango sticky rice flavor, other flacors are pretty good too
Premium ice cream at a premium price. I'm a fan of their little wooden spherical sculptures indicating the relative sizes of the 2 scoop sizes available. But, other that that, there's not much in the way of information... the names of the flavors are frequently less than descriptive, which encourages sampling, but can sometimes make even this process a bit too opaque. It's excellent ice cream, to be sure, but this is not a regular weeknight haunt.
This place was a little out of the way for a tourist walking around the non downtown part of the city. However it was worth the detour. I don't happen to be an ice-cream lover. Aghast you shout. I know, I know. However that didn't stop me from enjoying every last lick of my bowl. I loved the subtle Thai Sticky Rice and Mango Sorbet. It was something I wanted to eat when I was out to dinner the other night and they had run out. So what better way to enjoy dessert but here. Very clean establishment, and great service. Tight fitting space but most people probably won't hang out. A few cafe tables outside if you choose to stick around. Worth trying if only to say you took less than 50 licks to finish your scoop(s).
Awesome Ice Cream👌 this cream rivals most! I love the Cuban coffee. Great selection of basic and custom flavors! Fresh made sugar cones. Ala-mode🍦 …
Delicious ice cream! The mango sticky rice flavor is amazing.
Great local ice cream. The Oregon strawberry is particularly good, but the other flavors I tried were solid too. Not your cheapest treat, but I'd say it's both reasonable and well worth it
Best ice cream and vegan ice cream I've ever had! We went there all 3 nights we were in town. Trust me, get the toasted milk! Sounded odd to me, but oh my goodness!
Neat ice cream shop with cool flavors. Outdoor seating available. Parking available on surrounding streets.
Wow! Such great and exotic flavors. 10 out of 10 ice cream! I can't wait to drive 45min again just to eat it.
The very best dairy free ice cream I have ever had!!! The flavours are unique and delicious ❤️ if only we could bring some back to B.C.
Unique flavors. Prices good. Waffle cones are BOMB.
We got the caramelized honey + water ave coffee = super good!
Some say: better than salt n straw.
+ definitely will be back😋 …
By far my favorite ice cream shop (dare I say, in the WORLD?!)! Excellent shakes, terrific vegan flavors (mango sticky rice forever), and stellar service. Even when new flavors aren’t my favorite, I can still appreciate their creativity and flavor profile.
So I booked this company to cater at my wedding. There was a bit of an issue that I was a little bit forgotten my wedding planner called them immediately. After a short conversation they realized what the problem was and they rectified it immediately. Not only did the owner of the company hop in a truck and drive it down to my event he stated that he would take care of everything. He and his wife were such a joy to have and added so much to the wedding reception. I would use this company again and would recommend anyone that wants an ice cream truck at their event to use this company. Friendly people and GREAT ice cream who could ask for more?
I've only had their dairy free options because I'm lactose-intolerant, but WOW. They are amazing!!!! The vegan chocolate (choc-coco-mel i think it's called) is my absolute favorite. It's like eating high quality regular ice cream. They also make their waffle cones in house. So good!
Such a unique spot! We have Salt & Straw in Seattle so I didn't want to go there on my visit to Portland. Other ice cream spots around here closed relatively early (read: earlier), so Fifty Licks was up next. After I saw their flavors on the website, I was intrigued. I do wish they had sampling because there were so many different flavors I wanted to try. Overall, it's a lighter take on ice cream with less sugar (or less sweetness).
I wanted to try the flavors I don't see as often but was afraid I might dislike them. So ultimately I opted for 1 safety and 3 new flavors. My safety flavor was my bread and butter, Strawberry Cheesecake, my go-to. I enjoyed it a bunch as the cheesecake was able to shine. The sweetness of the ice cream was mild as to not overwhelm my entire cup and that allowed the flavor of the cheesecake to pop. I would definitely order this again, likely a pint.
Next came the French Toast. It was a mild vanilla flavor with bits of toast. Nothing too surprising, but once again the sweetness was held back. The toast bits were fluffy but ultimately not a huge factor as they lacked any further substance. The maple cinnamon flavor wasn't relevant at all. Likely wouldn't order this again, but it's worth trying.
Then there was the Blondie vs Brownie. The base ice cream was simply vanilla with yet again, a laid back flavor. Alongside that, there were extremely tiny bits of brownies and blondies. Blondies are essentially the vanilla equivalent of a brownie - a bit less common so wanted to just point that out. Honestly, it was like eating vanilla ice cream with tiny bits of cake integrated but those cake pieces were way too minuscule to be relevant. Did not care for this flavor altogether, wouldn't really recommend it.
Lastly, the Thai Rice was interesting! It was super light and reminded me of rice cake. This was probably my favorite flavor as it took such a simple flavor and elevated it to greater heights. Slightly nutty and not at all what I expected. It's not like eating rice and the flavor actually makes somewhat sense. Highly recommend this flavor.
The flavor is totally out of my imagination! I tried gingersnap, mango sticky rice and lavender salt caramel, which are super super super excellent!
I liked it better than Salt & Straw. The flavor, the price and the waffle cone are all perfect. I had the marionberry and it was delicious.
l didn't feel it was anything special. l like Baskin and Robin and Coldstone just as much. l don't like all the weird flavors. Why do l want lavender in my ice cream???
Excellent creative flavors. Some may not be for everybody but cool to try. The water ave Coffee is amazing. Better than the current salt n straw coffee ice cream. Worth going to and not as long of a wzit.
Wow!!! Amazing Vegan flavors, true to test, more than excellent service. We took the effort to get out here, and boy oh boy, we are so glad to have driven out here. They had amazing unusual flavors that did not disappoint, especially Golden Milk which had cardamon, ginger and turmeric. Thank you for making our trip to Portland, OR wonderful. THANKFUL!!!!
It's fine, it's ice cream. Texture felt like it had been refrozen/had some ice crystals going on and generally muted flavor. (We got pints cornbread honey butter and lavender caramel that we can't get rid of.)
Was absolutely fantastic. Flavors poignant but not overdone and not too sweet. Will definitely come again and bring friends.
Excellent cubano affogato. Beautiful ice creams and sorbet. Service is relaxed.
I love that the menu is half for dietary restrictions (GF&V options). I had the vegan mango sticky rice and golden milk and highly recommend both! They were creamy and I could not detect the coconut in the base (I'm not a fan of coconut flavor at ALL). A great lactose free ice cream experience 👍 …
Last night I ordered delivery on an app from Fifty Licks and there was a flavor mix up. I called to explain and the owner, Chad, personally drove over the correct flavors for me. Not only that, when I opened the door to receive my pints my cat escaped and he captured him for me! He truly went above and beyond. This was my first time ever trying Fifty Licks ice cream and I am now a fan for life. I basically got to sample all the vegan flavors last night, even the more adventurous flavors that I received by mistake, and let me tell you it was the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had. I don’t know how they made it so creamy, grocery store ice cream cannot compare, and other fancy ice cream places in Portland do not have nearly as many non dairy options. Mango sticky was incredible. I will definitely be ordering again.
Quality ice cream in delicious classic and creative flavors
My wife and I thought it would be fun to try new places on our date. Fifty Licks was nearby where we had dinner and it's been on my list to try someday. It is located in a fun neighborhood but parking can be a challenge. We arrived in a moment they weren't too busy but that changed right after we arrived. The staff was friendly and happy to let us try multiple flavors. We settled on Hood Strawberry and a root beer float. The ice cream was OK. If you enjoy different and innovative flavors, this could be a good place for you to try. If you're looking for more traditional flavors, you might not find them here. It is a little expensive but the serving for the classic size felt generous.
As someone mentioned in another review, the flavor names require help to know what they are. I used the website and found that it wasn't current with the actual list of flavors available in this location.
Favorite ice cream shop in Portland with unique flavors.
This ice cream was amazing. My companion has a dairy allergy and she tried the vegan flavor Golden Milk, which she said was amazing and not too sweet as many non-dairy ice creams are. I had the Oregon blackberry, which I hesitated about because there were much more unique flavors, but an employee insisted I try it and it was SO GOOD! Highly recommended for both dairy and non-dairy versions. I would have posted photos, but we ate all the evidence. Oops! I guess we'll have to go back!
Cute and tiny with no indoor seating. The only thing, they were out of vanilla ice cream! So sad ;)
The people working here were very pleasant and the golden milk ice cream is the stuff of dreams. 😍 probably the best ice cream I have ever had. They have some really fun, unique flavors like molasses and gingersnaps, and some standard flavors for the less adventurous tastebuds. They also have dairy free options for people, like me, who tend to avoid dairy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to lose their minds over the deliciousness of ice cream. 🤯
A great alternative to the other "big" ice cream place in Portland. You know the one.
I absolutely love the flavors this place puts out, I really like the Thai Rice flavor.
Highly recommend you give them a shot, they have a few locations now in Portland.
Super delicious ice cream. Recommend to those who are into the not so typical ice cream flavors you find in grocery stores.
Would take this off the beaten trail parlor over Salt and Straw. The cornbread ice cream was amazing.
I love this place for I've cream, and definitely better than Salt & Straw, plus they don't have a 45 minute-long line out the door. They have similar non-traditional flavors on a rotating basis like Soy Sauce Caramel, Banana Pudding, and Golden Milk (coconut milk, turmeric, cumin, ginger, cardamon, black pepper). They also have a pretty decent selection of vegan ice cream using coconut milk or other alternatives. I think their prices are on par with other niche-flavored ice cream places, but they're still on the pricey side for my own tastes.
Great Ice Cream on a warm night. Line was long but the staff was working though people quickly. Unlike some of the more famous add a ton of stuff into ice cream places this one has the flavor where it should be in the ice cream.
So many delicious flavors here. Need to come back for more.
I got carmelized honey and chocolate this go around, both were stellar
My absolute favorite ice cream. I love every flavor I've tried so far. The flavors are unique and prominent, and the ice cream is not excessively sweet. I love the texture of the ice cream. This is way out of our way but we stop by at every opportunity.
My boyfriend and I were really excited for the fun flavours (including vegan options), but I didn't have the best experience. The girl who served us was kinda rude (though I don't harbor any hard feelings toward her, I too am working at this time and it isn't exactly fun) and there weren't any waffle cones (which I was bummed out about, but understood due to the state of the world at the moment). The vegan flavour I wound up getting didn't taste like its name and was more of a sherbert than an ice cream (I enjoyed it, but it just wasn't what I was expecting), and there were chunks of ice throughout it. My boyfriend really enjoyed his dairy pick though, so maybe the flavour I chose was just a miss. If we go back after the pandemic, I'll be sure to ask for a sample before committing to a flavour, I just thought that wouldn't be appropriate at this time, with everything that's going on.
I found this place after feeling a little too impatient as I looked at the line formed outside another, slightly more popular ice cream shop nearby. Slightly different feel and ice cream style here, but just as delicious. Every flavor I tried was outstanding, and the texture was phenomenal. I have been trying to figure out how to match their buttery texture in my home ice cream machine ever since visiting. Flavor range is a little more traditional than that other place, but they still had some unorthodox offerings.
The ice cream was really good! I got the french toast flavor and it had little pieces of bread in it—never had anything like that before but definitely delicious. I was jealous of my boyfriend who got their coffee flavor, that one is my favorite that I’ve tried so far. Really cute inside and in a nice neighborhood to walk around while finishing your ice cream.
Nice quiet location for ice cream. They have some very interesting flavours. Great place for dessert and there's never a bad time for ice cream, right?? The interior is simple. Love the Tin Tin adventures walk that they've got. Pretty simple interior. They do allow you to taste and try the different flavours that they offer their customers, which is nice to be able to try and see if you like a particular flavour. The service is good. The people who work there (at least on this night that we went) were nice and friendly.
They didn't have too many tables. So I can imagine that if it was crowded. Many people would be standing inside or outside. They have one washroom. It's a small place. Depending on the time of day. Can be quite full or quite empty. So it can be quite loud or not so loud :P
Would recommend to come out here to try. See if you enjoy the flavours.
Oh. And I got the Butterscotch Whiskey. Loved this one! It is my personal recommendation to try it :)
Awesome little ice cream spot in a cool neighborhood. Try the butterscotch burbon.
My wife loves this place because they have a dairy-free ice cream option.
We are regulars here because the ice cream is delicious, but more importantly they have a nut-free kitchen. If you have a kid with nut allergies you know what a relief it is to find places you can eat worry-free. Thanks Fifty Licks!
I’ve had lots of matcha ice cream before and their matcha mochi is the best hard serve matcha ice cream imo.
Super creamy and quality ingredients. Toasted milk was also good. Hope to try more flavours!
Fifty Licks Ice Cream truck is usually where I get my fill but when it's cold, raining, snowing, too hot to track down the truck, or you just need ice cream then going straight to the delicious source (open really late!) with vegan, all fruit & regular ice cream options is A MUST! My fave is the vegan Coconut Lemon Saffron. Next visit though, I'm trying the vegan ancho mango, banana pudding & French toast - try & stop me!
my aunt, uncle, cousins and I walked here on a really hot day after practicing some music, and we were kind of tired and wanted to relax and have some ice cream. it was our first time going. the service was very good and they were nice, it's decorated well, and it was over all good. but at first I got the carmalized honey flavor and thought it was too sweet for me. I got another scoop after that to see if I liked something else, so I had the grapefruit rose sorbet. it had a very nice flavor and I liked it, but it was pretty sour (as I should have expected). I think I'll go again some time, because I might not have got the best flavors for me personally but I'm sure the others are great and that's just my taste. I can tell that they like or love what they do so props for that
Fifty Licks has a fun variety of flavors of ice cream to choose from, and you can tell that it's quality creamy ice cream. Some of the flavor names are funny like "Chocolate as @!#$@" and "Vanilla as @#$#@#". It's funny to hear people filling in the blanks when they order. When you come in, there is someone to greet you and give you a chance to sample any of the flavors before making your decision. They were all so good that it was hard for me to decide, but I did end up going with the Thai Rice ice cream (creamy jasmine rice pudding infused with Pandan). Where else can you get something like that? They do have truly unique flavors and the staff is there to help you make your decision. I also liked the fact that there wasn't a very long line for me to wait in to order. It's a small cozy place with seating inside and out. Or you can take your ice cream to go as you wander the area. Keep in mind that the ice cream is a little on the expensive side, but it could be justifiable with their unique and delicious flavors.
So I’m an ice cream snob, therefore my review may not be fair. However, I also love frozen yogurt. That being said, I was disappointed in the quality of the ice cream ‘base’ we tried last night. I prefer frozen yogurt and other ice cream shops because the flavors punch a bit more, and the base is either very creamy (ice cream) or frozen yogurt-y. Each flavor I tried was interesting, however the base felt like watered down skim milk. I’m trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt because I appreciate what they’re doing with unique flavor combinations, gluten free and vegan options. The employees last night were also kind and patient, but moved us through the busy line efficiently. I’m glad to see they put thought into their ingredients, incorporating local honey and such.
Well made, inventive flavors, delicious ice cream base, what more do you want? Even the non-dairy stuff there is great! They have a chocolate/caramel/coconut that's to die for. Ice cream-wise, their caramelized honey and Thai Rice (I know it sounds weird. Just try it) flavors are incredible. Their fresh waffle cones are also outrageously good.
In the new field of artisanal ice cream shops, 50 Licks has thrown their hat into the ring.
Take my review with a grain of salt - I can't eat milk - so I can only try their vegan flavors.
Unfortunately, it did not really fulfill its promise in flavor or simply being worth the effort. Their vegan flavors tended towards icy-sorbet versus creamy coconut-y flavors. They also have an unusual addition, "alcoholic" flavors for only 21+, but they don't seem like they could ever get you buzzed.
The flavors I had were OK - but not worth all the trouble of finding parking and waiting in line... Plus, as someone who is allergic to dairy, its literally impossible to not get some milk in your non-dairy ice cream as they just use the same bucket of water to clean each scooper between customer... so the scoop is always sitting in diluted milk-water.
Probably worth the effort if you can have dairy and S&S is looking too busy.... but if you have to stick to dairy-free, their offerings just aren't compelling enough.
Really good ice cream with a variety of unique flavors that they let you try before you buy! The staff is welcoming and fun. The whole ambience is enjoyable and doesn't feel "stuck up" like some places. Highly recommend the choc Coco mel vegan flavor and french toast.
Quite the assortment of treats, and to be able to sample a few choices makes it deliciously delightful to combine flavors to your liking.
I ❤ their service as well.
Definitely lived up to the hype in my opinion. They let me have a sample right away so I tried the fig chevre ice cream. I didn't even have to try another sample. It was delicious. I ordered it in the mini size on a sugar cone and couldn't be more pleased with the tasty treat and experience.
wonderful ice cream and amazing workers love it so much
I couldn't tell the difference between the regular and vegan versions. I loved the small scoop option so I could taste multiple flavors.Yummy creamy treat in a superior waffle cone.
Nothing special an the flavors are not that exciting, for the price save your money.
Good ice cream with vegan options! We had cherry n butterscotch whisky
Wow, some of the best ice cream I've ever had, and I've had a lot of ice cream
Super yummy, fresh and creative flavor combinations! The selection of vegan choices is awesome! And their naturally gluten-free cones kick the pants off of any waffle cone I've ever had. They are light and crispy and delicious in flavor. Also, the staff have always been very nice and accommodating.
This ice cream is absolutely delicious! I cannot believe the unique flavors, I've never seen such interesting combinations and it was all incredible tasting! The staff is amazing, I enjoyed having a conversation with the kind woman that was working.
Fifty Licks has really quality ice cream and a decent variety of unique and standard flavors. The matcha mochi and mango sticky rice are incredible. My only critique is that the price is a bit steep for the size of the scoops.
Excellent service. I didn't even know it was my scooper's first day until i was at the cash register, ready to pay.
Good choice of flavors. Who knew butternut squash could go so well in ice cream?
Gotta love all the free samples, too.
Andandand, woo, the store is better than the truck in that it's more reasonably priced. Though i suppose it's not nearly as mobile. Oh, and that reasonable pricing thing makes it better than Salt & Straw, too.
Their vegan flavors, though few, are absolutely amazing. No toppings offered but none needed. They have a gluten free cone and a vegan cone but not one that is both gluten free and vegan; my literal only complaint. My favorite ice cream spot in town.
Great quality ice cream, fast delivery, and amazing workers !!!!
My favorite ice cream in Portland. Their ice creams are custard based, while Salt & Straw’s include corn syrup and a variety of gums. As a result, Fifty Licks ice cream has a beautiful texture and pure flavor. Also, the people who work there are great. Gotta love it.
One of my two favorite ice cream shops in Portland, they never fail me! This is one of the few places one can go on a date at night and not be in a bar, and it's usually quiet. I love the flavor selection, and while each is good, my favorite is the Tahitian vanilla.
The customer service is always excellent and they always have good music on.
I wish I could remember the lady at the counter’s name. She was very friendly and helpful. This ice cream shop has a variety of interesting creative flavors, and you get to taste them before you buy. They put a lot of care into their presentation as well. I had the cafe cubano and the lady insisted I had it to stay so I could enjoy the experience, and it was well worth it.
Some of the best ice cream I've found in a long time. The kids asked me for ice cream...meh...where should we go? I haven't been excited by much in the ice cream department lately.
Read about Fifty Licks and it sounded innovative...
Wow! I love all of the different types of ice cream they have besides milk based. The coconut milk based ice cream was off the hook - it was chocolate and the coconut was a subtle note in the back.
They also have heavy booze-heavy ice creams. AND - a to die for Affogato made with Cuban coffee. Treats for kids, vegans, naughty adults...everyone!
Love love love all the vegan options and GF waffle cones. Not sure how they make vegan ice cream so smooth and rich! I had the Vegan Coconut Lemon Saffron... freaking amazing. The 21 and over G.O.A.T was also so yum...not to mention the Cardamom.
The one thing I will say is that the service left a little to be desired. They had an odd process for helping customers. They expected customers to know the drill and seemed a little put out when we didn't.
A three star experience with five star ice cream!
I don't leave reviews, as a rule. But this place has destroyed me. I will never be able to eat lesser ice cream again. It was revelatory. Their chocolate as #%^* is exactly as advertised, and transported me back to my youth. Smooth, creamy, slightly sweet, and radiating the flavor of cocoa. I have not been able to stop thinking of it since, and its been more than an hour.
Never has it been more true, they should have sent a poet. Eat it, and be prepared to be unable to buy store ice cream again.
Fifty licks is easily my favorite ice cream place in Portland. The flavors are unique and delicious. The waffle cone is gluten free by default and so yum! The ice cream doesnt have the same intense richness and sugary sweetness of Salt n Straw's ice cream which I dont like because of those things. Fifty licks ice cream is refreshing and delightful to the palate in comparison!
The ice cream is great with changing seasonal flavors! They always have at least one vegan option. I'm not vegan but sometimes the choc Coco mel is so good I get it over the other ice creams sometimes.
It really is the yummiest. I love this place. I work across from it so it's dangerous to love it so much. My daughter asks me to take her every time she visits the office. Her favorite is Jasmine Rice in a waffle cone. My favorite is the coconut lemon sorbet and my husband loves the authentic Cuban coffee. All highly recommended.
I can't say what my favorite is yet because there's still more to try!
Believe me when I say: this is good ice cream.
I've been here twice and haven't had a bad experience or a flavor I haven't liked.
The staff is pretty friendly, it can get busy but it doesn't feel like much of a wait, plus it's worth it anyways.
Really not much to say, this is a great place, you should totally sample something if you're curious, you won't be dissapointed.
Really delicious ice cream, but quite expensive. If it weren't for the cost, I'd say it's definitely worth going often. As is, it's worth going for the good variety of flavors and quality, but only infrequently. They're also good about letting you try the flavors before you buy. Be prepared for a long line.
Lavender salted carmel. Was very good! Service was friendly and would come back here!
The gentleman helping us was very friendly and went with what he said was the most popular and second most popular flavors (blood orange cream sickle and coconut lemon saffron, tasted the Cherry bomb which was also good). Both were very good, next time I will opt for the waffle cone. I like the idea of not waiting. The place was very clean and nicely decorated.
Great variety of flavors as well as unique flavors. Choice of cones is terrific and the staff are really friendly. We must have come during a lull in activity, but I'm sure this place is otherwise hopping in the summer. At least there was no wait here which is more than I can say for Salt & Straw whose line snaked out the door. Suffice it to say we didn't stop at Salt & Straw when there are perfectly good competitors without a long wait. Also really liked the comics they used to decorate an accent wall. A good find!
Best ice cream in town. It beats the pants off Salt & Straw. They actually make their own ice cream right here in Portland and the vegan coconut lemon saffron cannot be beat. They used to make alcoholic ice cream drinks and turned away from that at one point which is a shame. My only criticism of this place is: please for the love of God make a vegan vanilla so that we can make our own alcoholic ice cream drinks!
I think this place is better than salt and straw. The staff here are always friendly. The fresh waffle cones have great flavor and are perfect every time. My favorite ice cream is the chocolate as $*&@ and the blood orange creamsicle.
This place is the BEST! Great quality, and great flavors. If you like that other "salty" ice cream place, you'll love Fifty Licks. This place is old school quality, small batch, handmade, from start to finish. Great adult, 21+, flavor options and don't forget to try the Affogato - Cuban coffee poured over ice cream, AMAZING!!!
The ice cream is fantastic, and the one employee working behind the counter on a crowded Wednesday night was super friendly and helpful. However, to have one single employee running the entire place with a line of 20 people out the door is absolutely ridiculous. The owner needs to address this situation in order to treat their customers and employees better.
I'm allergic to dairy and my partner and a good friend of mine have celiac, and fifty licks is wonderful. I love to sorbet and (especially) the coconut milk based ice creams, and they love the fact that all the waffle cones are gluten free, but also still impressively delicious. Their 21+ (alcohol-containing) flavors are also quite good, I love their new flavor "Pirate" (spiced banana with a bit of rum).
Very interesting choice of ice cream. Yummy and well worth it.
It's not my favorite ice cream shop, but it's a very good one. The flavors are unique and refreshing. You'll probably find something you haven't tried, there. The staff are also friendly. 😁👍 …
Stumbled upon it and glad we did. Great ice cream. You can’t go wrong.
The ice cream is great but the reason the wait is so long is because they only have one person actually working. The workers are overworked so they aren't really happy anyway. You're better going to the grocery store and buying Hagen Daz. That's just as good, no line, and cheaper. The only thing is they have cool flavors.
I'm not much of an ice cream fan, but this simple shop was persuasive. No frills, no fuss, just old school style custard based ice cream. And butterscotch whiskey is my new favorite flavor.
Great ice cream, terrible service. 3 years later and they have still not opened the doors to dine in
I'm allergic to both dairy and gluten. There aren't many places to get delicious foods that I can actually eat, so this place was a delicious surprise. I had a mini scoop of chocolate ice cream and a mini scoop of blackberry sorbet in a waffle cone. So. Good.
Grabbed some late night ice cream with the gf and had the mango sticky rice and it was amazing with the gluten free waffle cone and it had amazing flavor . Went on a Saturday night and girl working was very friendly and great customer service.
Nice little spot in a quite neighborhood. Ice cream are tasty and creamy. The milkshake I got was good.
The staff was nice, and the ice cream was great.
Delicious! Ordered thru mic at window—fast, easy, safe. Tried the Blood Orange Creamsicle and it was amazing. Very flavorful! Will be back for more :)
Very friendly staff. The parking situation is not what I would consider ideal, but if you are willing to be patient and possibly walk a few blocks, I can assure you that it is well worth it. With mouth watering unique flavors, 21+ choices, and rich delicious vegan options, this is a shop to consider when looking to satisfy a sweet tooth!
With fresh made gluten free waffle cones and rich, creamy, creative ice cream flavors, how could you go wrong!? Vegan options available, too. I do miss the jam they used to put at the bottom of the cones, but I will still be back every time I'm in the neighborhood!
The worker here was nice, well-explained. Also, the lavender salted caramel was really nice
My 10 year old kid said she liked the blackberry more than the strawberry. That never happens! She's a die hard strawberry kid. I agree both are amazing.
Update - The owner took the time to make this right and contact me. I have been back with my boys many times and early or late they have been pretty good. The lines aren't bad and it's pretty damn good ice cream.
-
Took my two young boys after a movie tonight. Drove across town.. 11:38 standing outside in the rain and they decided to close early. Door says open til 12:00 on a Friday. Bummer. If you decide to go all the way here, give it a shot or go to one of the other ice cream stores not as far. Just called other places and they are still open. So you may want to try something not as far if it's late because they may close early. Salt and Straw guarantees every person in line will be served , even after they close, not before they close.
Great unique flavors. We got matcha mochi, mango sticky rice (actually taste like sticky rice!), golden milk (turmeric, ginger, cardamom), and oregon blackberry. All were delicious.
The caramelized honey is one of the most delicious flavors, and they're always happy to let you sample. The texture is what sold it to us, it's thick and creamy like a custard. I hope they open up a location closer to us :)
My absolute favorite ice cream, anywhere. I adore every single flavor. Subtle, flawless texture, the flavors really sing in the rich, custard base. My personal favorite is the Passionfruit sorbet with Szechuan peppercorns. It's just the right amount of tartness, some bright (very mild) spice, and it makes my mouth tingle. I think the shop is lovely and perfect, just like the ice cream. You have to try the Velvet Shiso cocktail!
The store and the packing of the ice cream look better than the ice cream tastes. I really could not find a flavor I love. I settled for the Toasted Milk. I did not like the mouth feel of this ice cream. It almost has a slightly rubbery quality.
Way smaller lines than similar local ice creameries with better flavors. I’m lactose intolerant so I love the vegan flavors. Try the lemon saffron or blackberry sorbet!!
I had the 21+ Nordic Palmer and it was oh so yummy! I also tried the rumm raisin and butter scotch which were also both super good! Extremely satisfied with my samples, purchase and wallet after! Will definitely visit here more often!
My favorite ice cream shop in Portland, and it's better than Salt and Straw. Like S&S, Fifty Licks uses many unconventional ingredients, but rather than jumping-the-shark like S&S often does with their flavor combos, Fifty Licks keeps their feet on the ground and serves up unconventional ingredients that actually sound delicious - and are delicious.
Great flavor selection and friendly staff. Best ice cream in town imo. Way less stressful than salt n straw.
Salt & Straw who? 50 Licks outshines the other place a hundred times over. Their flavors are unique without trying too hard. Thai rice, banana pudding, horchata, coffee, french toast. All sublime. Definitely get a waffle cone. I would have gone back just to buy another one of those. Don't miss this place while in PDX.
Love, love this place! My favorite is the Chocolate AF (and it is). I can't leave town with out a milkshake from here!!
First came here during Ramadan for a late night ice cream fix and loved the clever flavor varieties, the cuban coffee, and the friendly/chill staff--even if the line is long they never rush you to make a decision and will let you try as many flavors as you want! Last week I stopped by to pick up some pints for my mom who is a cancer patient right now. When she was healthy we used to go there after work/school. I mentioned that to the guy behind the counter and he made some recommendations, let me try some new flavors, and he revealed that he did the cancer treatment dance with his dad, including trips to get ice cream (cancer patients need calories and comfort!). It was a cold rainy night, so it was just him and I in the shop, so we chatted and sympathized with each other. Turns out that guy was the owner. It was a blessing to have such a genuine interaction with him. Salt & Straw is fun and all but this place is where the realness happens.
Exceptional, refined ice cream prepared with quality ingredients and good vibes. Minimalist digs and pints to go. We always look forward to our visits.
If you’re looking for a cute, trendy, local ice cream shop with DELICIOUS ice cream- look no further.
Their orange creamsicle ice cream was a game changer! Anytime I’m on this side of the river for dinner we swing in at Fifty Licks and enjoy a scoop. 🍦 …
We live nearby and visit often, and we’re especially touched tonight with the exceptionally attentive treatment to all visitors. A homeless man came in to fill his water and the staff treated him with dignity and compassion. I’m proud this is my local ice cream shop.
While more established artisanal ice cream shops such as Salt & Straw have more fanfare, Fifty Licks is every bit as delicious. Their wide ranging flavors are also more widely appealing for chocolate lovers to fruit fanatics, and Vegans.
best ice cream in the city imo
Delicious flavors of ice cream. I had the coconut lemon saffron and it was so creamy and the flavors so smooth and mellow. Found out it's vegan.
Very good Ice-cream Outlet.
I tried several flavors with a group of friends and they were all delicious. I would definitely go back. The line took a while, typical for Portland, but it was more because they were under staffed. They had two employees, and only one of them was serving customers. Weird.
Fun portland atmosphere! Good selection of ice cream including vegan and adult (21+) flavors. Staff is friendly! Plenty of seating and a nice place on a hot day.
I'm not a big ice cream lover, BUT quality of this ice cream is SUPERB. Salt'n'straw is for tourists for sure. Not gourmands. Fell in love with blackberry one... Very small, but neat place.
Good alternative to Salt and Straw. I would say it's even better.
We got Thai rice and bloody orange flavor. And it's amazing! And waffles come hot )
The stuff is nice and friendly
Was craving ice cream and came in from a recommendation. Super cute space with a few vegan options. The Choc-Coco-Mel was delicious!
Fun spot even with the long line, went by somewhat quickly and they have unique and tasty flavors. I'd never heard of vegan ice cream. Waffle coves made in house too 👍 …
Great place! Only place in town with gluten free waffle cones. My gf likes it better than Salt & Straw. Excellent creamy ice cream, generous portions, and jouncing vibe!
Great Atmosphere and great servers. I particularly like the incandesce sent 50 Displayed on the wall. The ice cream tasted great and was especially good with a shot of coffee over it.
My god, this ice cream is amazing. And they offered gluten free cones for my girlfriend. I got the Thai rice flavor and it was, no joke, the best I've ever had
Best vegan ice cream and gluten-free cones in Portland. Amazing, just amazing flavors and customer service.
I'm trying to remember how long I have been loving Fifty Licks ice cream. I think it might have been when they first opened, since I have a photo in 2010 of their Red Bull Cola Ice Cream, I wrote in the captions that the Stumptown Coffee and Tahitian Vanilla were excellent, and was particularly loving the bacon bit parts of their Maple Bacon.
I called it then "wonderful shake-ups to normal ice cream." Even though coffee and vanilla sound plain, they were bursting with flavor, and you could notice and appreciate the high quality ingredients. I like how the French custard style makes their product so creamy and soft.
Recently (this past August), they opened up a brick and mortar location at 2021 SE Clinton at 21st, just down a door from St. Jack, and also easily walkable from SE Division or Powell if the other offerings on SE Clinton aren't enough options. This sounds like a PERFECT end of a dinner for me. They are just a cute, clean crisp little bright spot.
It turns out the Fifty Licks is more than just an Ice Cream Parlor. Besides offering the following ice cream flavors and sorbets. You can also get Fifty Licks sorbet cocktails and Cafe Cubano. So it can be your stop before and after dinner!
They have twelve rotating flavors of scooped ice creams and sorbets. The flavors will continually be updated/rotated, based on what mad genius comes to fruition for the Fifty Licks imagination + execution testing! All you need to know is that Chad is a mad genius, and you cannot go wrong with any flavor you pick.
Example ice cream flavors for instance might include (remember these will rotate based on seasonal ingredients/new ideas!):
Stumptown Coffee
Tahitian Vanilla
Toasted Milk
Jasmine Tea with Apricot
Caramelized Apple
Cherry Bourbon
Jasmine Rice with Fragrant Pandan
Raspberry
Blood Orange Screamscle
Maple with Bacon
Single Malt Scotch
Sorbet flavors for instance might include:
Coconut Lemon Saffron
Passionfruit with Sichuan Peppercorns
Grapefruit with Rosewater
Rhode Island Style Frozen Lemonade
Chocolate with Toasted Oat Milk
You can select a gluten-free waffle cone, and toppings such as Ghost Pepper salt, bee pollen, sweet corn dust, potato chips, Ovaltine, who knows what they might have!
They do not have a liquor license or full bar (since that would require them serving food, which is more than this little ice cream parlor can handle in their space), but the few cocktails they do offer are so exquisite and I'm not sure why you would want anything else. These are so sophisticated I don't know why they aren't currently on a Bon Appétit or Saveur cover, they are so beautiful. On the other hand, maybe by June of next year, they will be... They offer a happy hour on their sorbet cocktails from 4-6 pm daily.
My wife and I enjoy finding small ice cream parlors to discover new flavors and just experience something new. Fifty Lick's is my wife's current favorite (I'm indecisive). We love mixing their flavors and creating new mixes with each visit. The location has wonderful decor (including the amazing TinTin wallpaper made from pages from Herge's comics). The staff is helpful and friendly. As I finish filling out my punch card I grab another and I again turn the door at Fifty Licks...
Super-creamy ice cream, generous scoops and inventive flavors. The woman who helped me was welcoming and friendly — offering great flavor descriptions and several tastes to help me decide.
As an ice cream aficionado, I must say Fifty Licks has all the competition licked! There is hands-down, no better ice cream in town. The texture is creamy and perfect, and most importantly, the ice cream is not overly sweet. Keep it up!
😋😋😋 yum to this icecream! The coconut lemon saffron and the lavender mint chip haunt my dreams and plague my waking hours. Sweet people work here and i really like strolling the neighborhood with my big ol scoops. 👍👍 …
The ice cream is great, and usually the service is adequate. Tonight, less than adequate. Less so enough, that I thought I'd write a review to demonstrate as much. 5 star joint with 2 star service.
This place is the best! The employees are super nice, the flavors are interesting and unbelievably tasty, and the selection is great. Always have some really good dairy free options. Try the passionfruit with pepper its unreal.
My wife is dairy free and gluten free and I am an ice cream addict. This little place has excellent choices for both of us and the kids don't mind it either. ;-)
50 Licks gets overlooked because of Salt and Straw -- but really, it's a shame because 50 Licks has some darn good ice cream. And for those dairy free individuals, they have an incredible coconut milk saffron ice cream that you have to try!
I'm a big fan of Fifty Licks. They have great ice cream including vegan and gluten free options.
No pumpkin spice shams here - the flavours ARE ReAl!
The choco coco vegan ice cream is the creamiest vegan ice cream I’ve ever had. Amazing. Customer service is fabulous as well.
Yummy waffle cones and ice cream but very disappointed with the gal serving ice cream, making waffle cones and taking money and cards from customers. She did not wash her hands once, gross.... the same hands she's taking money and cards with, she is touching the cones she's making and the cones we are eating.
My god . I am incapable of consuming lesser creams after their banana pudding passed my lips. I have strict dietary rules and I serioualy conaidered casting them into the pits of perdition for this ice cream. 2 pints one spoon. A good way to die.
Amazing ice cream, texture was 10/10
At first I was not so keen on off-beat Frozen Custard. But wow!! We all loved it and amazed at how reasonably priced it was for a fancy cold treat.
Great little ice cream shop! Love their gluten free cones, they taste just like regular ones, and I appreciate that they have dairy free options as well.
Best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had and some of the best ice cream I had period!
Friendly staff, she was very helpful choosing which flavors we should order.
And the ice cream.... delicious!
Creamy and flavorful. When I think of ice cream on a hot day, I think of Fifty Licks.
Their ice cream hits the spot every time.
When a ice cream shop can make vanilla taste even better than normal you know they are doing something right. This shop is hip, clean and makes the best ice cream I have ever had
Tried the Caramel Soy Sauce flavor. I found out what dying and going to heaven feels like. The waffle cone was also more than solid.
Limited choice of flavors, but what they have is so delicious and different. The waffle cone was one of the best I've had and is made fresh in front of you.
Incredibly good ice cream with a cycling menu that updates throughout the year. While most people come to this area and think of Salt and Straw, I think they're missing out on the real treat that is this place.
Best ice cream in town, gluten free confess that taste better than their glutenous counterparts. Not pretentious like some of the other shops in town either.
Delicious ice cream, friendly service, fresh waffle cones, unique flavors. Way better than standing in line at Salt and Straw!
The BEST vegan ice cream EVER! But wish they could do a hand pint to mix flavors
Limited selection, but ice cream is pretty good. I think it's probably a good choice for vegans since they have almost as many choices for vegans.
Yeah they got a lotta pretentious flavors just like all these types of places. But props to their strawberry ice cream its actually legit. Good job!
Unreal ice cream, such a great selection of flavours. This place wasn't too busy but a bit confusing trying to figure out how the line worked
Toasted milk was so creamy. Thai rice was great. Definitely good creamy ice cream and the waffle cones were perfectly buttery.
A cute neighborhood ice cream shop where every single flavor is great. My favorite is the ButterSCOTCH ice cream: so deliciously boozy that they'll card you for it.
The ice cream flavors are very good and innovative. However their vegan options were neither tasty nor innovative.
Fantastic original flavors and the best vegan ice cream I've ever had--the lemon saffron is amazing!
Best ice cream in Portland. Hands down, no exception. Vegan friendly if you're into that. Everything tastes amazing!
First time being here and I'm over the moon that they offer dairy free for my husband and lavender for me yummmmm
Great atmosphere and fantastic shakes.
Absolutely the best icecream in town... yes better than Salt and Straw. Also the biggest hearts, donating money to important causes.
Hands down the best ice cream I have ever put into my stomach. Seriously. Please try the "Vanilla as #@!*" or "Blood Orange Creamsicle". Nothing compares!
Coffee over ice-cream?!! Say no more - I loved it! Old school ice cream shoppe. I love the simplicity of the spot and the simple flavors.
They have the most fun flavors! Only one customer group was allowed in at a time but there wasn't much of a wait.
Tasty ice cream. Wide variety of interesting flavors. Reusable tasting spoons. Friendly staff. Worth the wait!
Absolutely delicious, different flavors, great and fast staff, and not nearly as busy as many of the other bigger ice cream joints.
Great ice cream but way overpriced I'd rather go grab a tub of fantastic locally-made Umpqua for a third of the price
Great place, very good ice cream, and very nice staff.
Interesting flavors, some with alcohol infusions, great staple flavors and friendly service without the decades long wait at other boutique ice creameries.
They have a pretty solid selection of flavors that you can tell they spend a lot of time perfecting not just the taste but the texture.
Ice cream favors were really tasty!! Had some issues with the staff, did not feel very welcomed when walking into this place....
Great ice cream. Worst compostable straws in the game. They are composting before you can even finish half a milkshake
Delicious and trendy new ice cream shop that has unique flavors such as lavender mint chocolate chip and thai rice.
Delicious custard style ice cream. Great selection of dairy and vegan recipes.
It was a great deal because I actually got 58 licks of ice cream instead of the 50 I was expecting
Better flavors than the other place and usually no insane line. Great place to stop for ice cream.
The vegan cho cocomel can GET IT. Sad they got rid of the jam at the bottom of the cones, though. It was the best surprise at the end! The jam was my jam!
Great options whether you're feeling traditional and or looking for something a little bit different! Short waits too- perfect for a quick ice cream fix!
Delicious ice cream, friendly staff, great safety measures. Do stop by for a scoop!
We love stopping by 50 Licks from time to time at the end of a long bike ride. It has the perfect location, right off the greenway!
Duncan made our trip here so awesome. The ice cream is delish but the conversation and laughs were what brought us back
The best small batch ice cream ever. I love the creative flavors like Thai rice and toasted milk.
A friend from Portland took us here on our last day in town. The service was quick and pleasant and the flavors unique. Highly recommended.
Good staff and interesting flavours! Their malted cream and thai rice are my go-to. I hope these guys do well!
Waffle cone and coffee ice cream! Amazing.
Oh the vegan flavours are amazing... The nice girl there let us try them all before ordering!
Great flavors. You can try anything you want. It can be a little bit of a wait if there are a lot of people in front of you, but it's worth it.
Got a milkshake there for $10, it was good, but $10 for real? Way overpriced.
Omg the Thai rice ice cream is so delish!
Wonderful, I David Keith Snow am going to eat Ice cream very soon. I want to try many flavors
I wrote a bad review, I edited it to this. It wasn't bad and employee must have been having a rough day. My last review was too harsh.
Amazing flavor options! Friendly staff!
Oh. My. Goodness. The best ice cream. Unique flavors, green business. Love this place.
The butterscotch whiskey is amazing! They are all amazing!
Delicious ice cream and great variety of flavors and style!
Great flavor ice cream. Tried strawberry and toasted milk.
Many ice cream options even non dairy options. Great waffle cones and ice cream. Friendly staff also.
Best ice cream in pdx so far, better flavor and customer service than salt n straw (also without the wait).
Great tasting, unique flavors and light/not too creamy ice cream!
Really good ice cream, but it gets busy, so expect a line during non-normal workday hours.
My fav Icecream in Portland! Love their vegan options and their whole vibe.
Amazing amazing icecream and the waffle cones are so fresh you can smell them around the corner
Attracted by the lack of Salt'n"Straw line... service was slow, product was finely made but lacking in creativity. In any other city it would be fine. I'll never go back.
Great Portland Institution. Great vegan options and they love puppies eating ice cream...clearly we're gonna love this place!
Great icecream! The boozy flavors are the beat and lovely cuban coffee!
Limited menu but great ice cream
I had the most darkest chocolate ice cream and it was so good
French Toast ice cream was delightful.
Yummy flavors, I had French Toast. The staff was so friendly, fun and professional.
This place is always amazing! The flavors are rich and creamy and you won’t be sorry.
Unique flavors, our group of six each tried a different flavor and liked them all.
Friendly staff! Vegan options! Like 16 flavors total to choose from! Unique flavors!
Best local ice cream joint in Portland super tasty and great friendly staff. Thank you
Exceptional ice cream innovation, with a retail experience that feels refined yet original - highly recommend!
Best Non-Dairy Ice Cream Cone I Have Ever Eaten...twice. 😁 …
Awesome vegan ice cream!!!
Bomb ice cream! I don't live in Portland was just visiting and won't go back ever and I mean ever again. You can keep your weird Portland.
Gourmet ice cream that tastes as good as the wild names they give to their flavors.
Great neighborhood business. No long lines. Great ice cream!!!
Meghan was fabulous and was very helpful with all our samples. However my favorite still is Salt and Straw....
Always such amazing flavors! The butterscotch whiskey is my favorite.
Kind service, yummy flavors and non dairy selections = a good evening walking Portland!
Good ice cream. No line when I went. Despite a large bathroom, no changing table for kids.
Love this place! If you are feeling adventurous I'd recommend trying the Coconut Lemon Saffron!!!
Great flavors! Not much sitting space when busy. Cones are fresh hand made.
Holy YUMMMMM...Loved it soooooo much. So amazing. Modern and stylish. Salt and straw is now forgotten. Great food and great people.
Honey Cornbread ice cream always makes me happy. Fave ice cream joint in Portland.
Delicious and unique flavors. Waffle cones are freshly made.
Delicious! Make sure to get there early though. Once the flavors are out, that's it for the day
Intense flavors🍨 and great textures 🍦. There are bits of cornbread in one flavor. …
Is my favorite ice cream in town, but they won't bring the jelly back, or toasted milk. BRING JELLY BACK!
Tasty, rich ice cream. Unique flavors that are both refreshing and creative
The fattiest ice cream you'll have in Portland, with a focus on simpler flavors done flawlessly.
Wonderful ice cream and vegan options if you're into that!
Lovely staff. A hidden gem! Great Dairy free options.
Delicious original flavors and ice cream cocktails. I prefer them to salt and straw
Old school vibe, good customer service, good ice cream not super busy all the time with line out the door
So good I couldn’t wait fifty licks to finish it. Love how inventive the flavors are without being gimmicky.
Excellent, smooth, unique and delicious flavors and the waffle come is the bomb!
Amazing ice cream! Awesome flavors! Friendly staff!
Really good ice cream, on par with Salt & Straw but without the line.
Yummy. Flavors were great. Loved the freshly made waffle cone.
I think the chocolate a.f. is the best. It lives up to it's name.
Excellent flavors and fresh waffle cones. Try the blackstap ginger
Really deep dark chocolate flavored chocolate as $$$$. Cool ambiance and the owner is really nice.
Great prices for waffle cone icecream and you get a decent amount.
Artisan ice cream, great flavors, fun staff, awesome location.
Delicious Ice cream! And for beer lovers they even have beer floats
Great ice cream, friendly service, and a great assortment of flavors!
Best icecream
Creative, inventive, tasty flavors, gluten-free waffle cones. Delicious.
Just got done with a mini scoop of the Blood Orange Creamsicle and blackberry. Highly recommended them
Only strange flavours on offer. Some tasty but not extraordinary
Friendly service and a wide variety of interesting and well made flavors. Good vibe as well.
Good, cheap, and fast. Half the price of salt and straw plus no wait....seems like a no brainier 👍 …
Excellent ice cream and sorbet. Great customer service.
Such amazing flavors and the customer service was amazing!
Great ice cream, friendly customer service and a great place to go
Not a huge selection of flavors but I liked what I had.
Great alternative to the long lines of nearby salt and straw. Good dairy free options
Servers were great! Unusual flavors good ice cream
Great ice cream with a wonderful hostess.
Best place to visit on the hottest day of the year so far. Staff was wonderful, product was perfect.
Better than Salt and Straw, flavors are not filled with chunks rather flavorful.
Literally the best ice cream I’ve had in my life. And I eat a lot of ice cream....
Reasonable prices and delicious flavors. My fav of the day is Thai Rice!
Are you kidding me????? Ice cream in multiple flavors? What's not to love??
Delicious, hole in the wall ice cream spot.
Freshly made waffle cones. Try their Thai Rice ice cream.
Their ice cream is amazing but a bit weird
Didn't think it was a 10 dollar milkshake
I miss the bourbon ice cream. Still great place.
Delicious vegan chocolate coconut caramel ice cream!!
My favorite ice cream place! Try the Cornbread Honeybutter!
Quirky flavors but very tasty icecream.

They have gluten free waffle cones- enough said.
Meticulously crafted deliciousness, in a wide variety of fun and sometimes surprising flavors.
I am in love with the coconut lemon saffron ice cream
Great vegan options! Very tasty and reasonably priced
Loved it! So many vegan options😋 …

Smooth creamy ice cream and great flavors!
