Excellent service! Delicious frozen yogurt and dairy free almond milk options but I get the Thrifty ice cream. They have new flavors daily. You can get traditional treats like banana splits and milk shakes too. They have quarts available for purchase. No dine in option at the moment but still honor 5 star rewards. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a delicious frozen yogurt / ice cream shop!

Ice cream is really tasty and creamy. Service is really awesome and loving coming back to this place. I've had the milk shakes as well which are on the thinner side so you can easily suck them down. Thankfully I don't live any closer or I would have diabetes. I would recommend this to anyone.

The employees are helpful and never had a bad experience yet after many visits. Check out the roatiating flavors and specials they might have going on. If it's a flavor you'd be interested in checking out don't wait or it might be sold out by next visit.

Absolutely love the different types of ice cream as well as the wonderful staff. The last time I went there I had the pleasure to meet Chloe. She is super sweet and was quick to ask us to type our order out, as she is deaf. The service she gave us was remarkable!!!! You should definitely stop in and say hi!! This place is super cute with SO many options - it's almost overwhelming the great way only multiple dessert choices can be! We got soft serve for our dog, cookie dough ice cream for my fiancé and I got a mint chip Sundae. My only complaint would be that the sundae was small without many extras for $6.45. My fiance's regular size ice cream was bigger by far. But everything tasted great and I will definitely be back to try some of their other treats!

Probably the best ice cream I have eaten since I was a little child. Between the people who own this business and the staff that run it day, day this place is a treat fit for those who love frozen dairy products. They will mix you power shakes, smoothies, yogurts with fresh natural ingredients. Milkshakes ( with regular milk or almond on demand). Samples upon request. This business is both clean and organized and affordable!

Super lit option in Glendale for smoothies and ice cream. Haven't tried acai bowls yet. Kind of wish they had pistachio or dulce de leche flavor ice creams? Idk lol but not a big deal. I would give this place a 5 star but the last 2 times I went the same girl that served me had a bad attitude.. She has been there for a while and never had issues before. 1x I ignore it and assume you had a bad day. But unfortunately she may need a new job... I enjoy spending $ where people enjoy taking it for their goods.. anyway.. the ice cream, yogurt and dairy free cream is pretty good and there is always a variety of flavors and options to choose from. the add on items, i would not recommend as they clearly are old and definitely taste taste that way, I have been coming too long and try again almost each time.. anyways try it out yourself and hopefully no attitudes 😜🤣

Update 2020... This store is under new ownership and it is WAY Better. The folks who work in there are amazing and super helpful. We visit here like once a week now. My wife loves their vegan ice cream and I just had the best Caramel Apple Froyo sundae. (2019) My first thought was information overload. I went in there to get a couple scoops of ice cream and was kit with so many options that I wanted to leave. I changed my decision to get a 2 scoops of ice cream and decided on a sundae that they had flashing on the wall. When I ordered the sundae the server asked me what kind of ice cream that I wanted. Then I said can I have whatever is in the picture? The server was perplexed and then remembered it was frozen yogurt. The other downside was the horrible gold railing that was probably intended to guide you through the process of ordering. However, the tables impeded the flow and the servers couldn't help to direct traffic. My overall review of the place would be confusing. I do not think this store knows what it wants to be.

Love Desert Swirl! Locally owned business with several wonderful treat options and considerate, kind staff. I love their frozen yogurt made with fructose (not high fructose corn syrup - different things!) because my body handles it much better than regular sugar. But they have plenty of the sugar stuff, too for folks who prefer it, as well as fruit smoothies. So yummy!

I Just enjoyed a great visit st Dessert Swirl! They have old fashioned Thrifty ice cream. Hannah was a cheerful server who knew all the options. I got a mini cup of chocolate and strawberry yogurt. It's been a few years since we have been here. My husband decided to stop by for a cool treat on a hot day. The service was great. Everyone was friendly. I ordered the almond milk frozen yogurt in chocolate and peanut butter flavors. I was pleasantly surprised. I loved it. He ordered the frozen yogurt in white chocolate macadamia nut. We loved that one too. I don't eat a lot of dairy so I was happy to see they have a dairy free option. We will be back.

Went today for yogurt and ice cream. Still asking patrons to mask and social distance. I respect their right to require this. I got yogurt for wife and daughter, but I will not buy from an establishment that won't get over COVID. Will not go back until they lift that requirement. Talked with girl that worked behind counter and she said one of the owners is high risk. If that person has been vaccinated then they shouldn't worry. If they are not, stay away from the business and let everything back to normal. If you are vaccinated and you are concerned, sell the business and stay home. Been going for years...

Ice cream and service was good, but the guests behind us asked about any sugar free options. They didn't have any but suggested their healthiest option claiming that it only has 7 grams of sugar and is safe for diabetics. Seemed like they weren't 100% sure about whether that was too much sugar for someone with diabetes.

This is our 2nd time here. They have renovated since we last visited and the place looks very nice and is clean. Service was really friendly and quick! The almond milk frozen yogurt is my favorite! It's a great option for those of us a tad lactose-sensitive. My husband loves the suundays. And they have a nice variety of other Frozen Yogurts & Ice Creams. I love that I can have tasty yogurt, flavors that change often so the selection is great, and it's only 8 cal per ounce. It's a guilt free way to have a cool, yummy treat! Plus there's a shake they will make you after a workout. My kids love the thrifty ice cream, which you can't find just anywhere and is available in like 30 flavors. I want to thank Mckenna for great service, beautiful smile, and her ability to multitask but still make me feel special every time I'm in. It's such a nice time of year to eat outside but the atmosphere inside is really great too!

I'm going to give a 5 on the ice cream quality, friendliness and cleanliness, but a 2 on price. While the ice cream was delicious and they have a great variety of hard ice cream and frozen yogurts, for the life of me, I don't understand why it is almost $5 for two scoops of ice cream in the Valley. Maybe I can't get North East pricing for ice cream shops out of my head or we pay a premium in the desert? Can't imagine that is it though, we aren't in horse and buggy transportation days. Anyway, great little ice cream shop for a rare treat, but be ready to drop $20 for a family of four.

My granddaughter was craving for Ice cream, so we stop by here. I was soo excited when I saw that they had Thrifty Ice cream. Being old school and raised on Thrifty Ice cream I got a double Rainbow sherbet , my granddaughter got a double chocolate brownie with chocolate chips cookie dough. So good and with less guilt. For those that don't know they have a specially formulated frozen yogurt that is very low calorie and with only 8 ingredients & plant based protein. All that considered it tastes amazing. There's only like 50 something calories in a small, but you can order a mini too. They also serve thrifty ice cream which is a classic American staple in my opinion! I'm very impressed and highly recommend to others. Especially the health conscious consumer. This is your new yogurt spot.

The owner Scott was really friendly and helpful in helping us pick out what flavors and toppings we wanted! Desert Swirl even has 4 flavors of almond milk frozen yogurt which are completely vegan. He also explained that their yogurt is cheaper by volume than other froyo places, which is pretty cool. It is conveniently located and has a nice atmosphere. If you want variety, this is your place! I've lived in the area for years and I just thought to stop by the other day. Boy, was I impressed! They have healthy frozen yogurt but also have a choice of 24 flavors of Thrify's Ice Cream (my husband's favorite). They also have a wide variety of toppings along with smoothies and shakes. With so much to choose from, I had trouble ordering my first time. Luckily I was served by the wonderful Mckenna and she helped me out all the way through the process! Such wonderful girls work here and they make me want to come back every time. I can't believe it took me so long to come into this place- I've been missing out! Amazing staff! They care about all customers new and old and have a real love for including everyone from diabetics to lactose intolerants. They have vegan and everything you could think of and even if the prices seem expensive for what you get it really isn't expensive at all. They have a wonderful atmosphere and great staff.

Prices are reasonable for what you're getting, the availability of Almond milk froyo for the lactose intolerant is welcome since a lot of places lack that option, and the staff are always friendly.

Sharon has been greeted me with a smile and never have a had mediocre service. She is always patient with my indicisions and I never feel rushed. Not sure why anyone is putting less than 5 stars.. I stop in this ice cream shop at LEAST once a week. Twice if I have a really bad sweet tooth that day. They have so many varieties of ice cream, but they are the only place who has cotton candy AND bubble gum at the same time. It isn't more than $5 for two scoops, and it doesn't taste like a million artificial components were added (especially with those two flavors.) Stop in and give them a try. It beats spending $8 at dairy queen for something half the size, with half the love.

I loved the ice cream but one of the ladies working behind the counter sept 7th at night, that was serving ice cream and handling the cash register was rude. She wasn’t patient and seemed annoyed, so that wasn’t the best first experience. If a customer asks for extra something and is paying, they should not be annoyed or show it, that’s just bad customer service. I am just surprised because I was really looking forward to my trip there.

We have lived in the neighborhood for 16 years and recently rediscovered Desert Swirl. We had been there once before but since the beginning of this year go very frequently. Their post workout smoothies are great and they serve Thrifty's ice cream ( a childhood fav). Flavors change often and very clean. Nice seating inside and out, especially this time of year. YUM

We are on the keto diet so we can't have any carbs. So we caked last week and going out they have yogurt that's only 7 carbs per half cup. We went in today and the 2 girls working today were very very helpful. We decided on the coconut cream pie and it was great and my dog loved the vanilla.

Really nice folks here. I believe they were probably the owners. Fairly typical ice cream shop pricing. DW loved the chocolate chip cone. I was less excited about my vanilla swirl though. Now sure if it was a low-fat variety (the machine label did say "Fructose" but I wasn't sure what that meant in terms of the ice cream. Mine tasted a little like "fake sweetener", almost like Aspartame, which I wouldn't normally confuse with fructose (which just means fruit sugar as far as I know). We might be back when in the mood for an alternative to Baskin Robbins to support them. But Dairy Queen will be where I go for my swirl fix.

I can't say enough god things about this place. I stop in every chance I get. I live in southwest valley so it isn't often. However they have the best frozen yogurt than any other place. I go here because it is only 8 calories per ounce. Most other frozen yogurt shops are 80-100 calories for 4 ounces. Desert swirl is half the calories of other places. So you can indulge here without going off your diet. I have been coming here for years. Cute little place with outside seating. I'll be coming in for my yogurt tomorrow.
