This place is hands down one of my favorite new places. You gotta go. Fresh milk and many other local items. Take the kids they have tables where you can enjoy fresh made ice cream, waffles and shakes. A coloring table for kids. Oh and don't forget to snap some pics in the old milk truck.

Used to live right next to the diary until I moved across the valley. I was in the area and really wanted my boyfriend to try it. He is an avid milk drinker, whereas I prefer the flavored milk like the coffee milk we picked up. Definitely recommend, nice treat by itself or perfect to use as creamer in your coffee. My boyfriend absolutely loved it and said it was by far the best milk he's ever had. They now offer milkshakes and ice cream which we'll have to try next time. They are also super kid and family friendly! They have a whole activity/ eating area for everyone to enjoy. The dairy does use glass bottles that have a $2 deposit and when you return them you get the deposit back. It's a nice way to get everyone to recycle the bottles and use less plastic. My all time favorite is their eggnog. Definitely try it if you enjoy eggnog during the holiday season.

Eggnog milkshake was a first… Next time I’m going to take it home and add a swirl of bourbon!! Purchased some milk strawberry milk ( look at the neat pint jar) and regular eggnog. Photo op with a cute little milk truck. Close to the interstate.

This is a very neat place to visit. My fiance and I decided to do a Friday happy hour at the dairy store Believe it or not. It was a very pleasant experience. We love the atmosphere and the novelty. Kind of takes you back in time a little bit. It was my fiance's first time there and she enjoyed the shakes immensely. It was an awesome thing to do just start off a Friday evening.

This place is incredible. We've been a fan of the bottled milk in grocery stores around the valley for several years now and were very excited to visit Danzeisen Dairy. They had a case with all their milk flavors (even some fun seasonal ones), fresh cream, and juices. We ordered two stacked milkshakes that were some of the best milkshakes we've ever had--So fresh and delicious! Our daughter enjoyed their small play area and coloring table. We can't wait to go back!

Our FAVORITE EGG NOG in Arizona. Danzeisen Dairy is a local, family-run dairy store in Laveen with over 60 years in business. They offer signature glass bottles with fresh milk from their farm.

Stopped in, finally, for a root beer float. I can't seem to find anywhere else that has a root beer float on the menu. So, what a great excuse to sample some Danzeisen Dairy ice cream with a bottle of IBC Root Beer. I was a little surprised that rather than coming in one of the big milkshake glasses the float comes in a smaller plastic cup. You are given the remainder of the root beer in the bottle. So, it works out to be a decent amount of creamy vanilla ice cream in the end. I couldn't believe how busy it was. A constant stream of people flowing in the door.

After leaving the $100 Store (Walgreens) we did a dairy run. I got my coffee milk, cheese curds and a bunch more yummy stuff. The "Baked Chemistry"cinnamon rolls they sell are amazing😋. They've gotten so much bigger!! You gotta come see this place. The milk truck is inside now and these cute little girls wanted to take a picture with me 😍. I just love this place.

Best OJ hands down. Eggnog, yes please. I don't even like Eggnog but boy did they change my mind. The store is quite and they have a points program that knocks a few bucks off after several purchases. Great milk also, especially the flavored milk. I'm glad I found this place.

Fresh, fresh milk! My daughter loves the root beer, strawberry, coffee, and chocolate flavors. I enjoyed the chocolate! They make fresh smoothies and ice cream as well. The prices are higher for this smaller business, but worth supporting in my opinion.

Such a good experience! Root Beer milk is so delicious and the Elvis waffle is to die for. I recommend asking for two scoops of vanilla ice cream instead of the bananas. Or both. They didn't have bananas when I went so I asked for ice cream intead and it was amazing .

Arguably the best milk you can find in any grocery store in the pheonix area. I moved to AZ from SoCal and happened to come across these products at my local Fries and I can not return to drinking plain milk the same. Idk their entire process to making this milk but it is superb and I would highly recommend giving it a try if you are ever in the area. *(The reusable glass bottles the milk comes in is a bonus for sure.)

This place was really adorable and has been on for 50 years here in Arizona outside Phoenix. They have two live cows in the front where you can bring your children to pet them and a play area for the children inside. And different merchandise to buy, and different flavors of milk that they produce.

Since Danzeisen, I will not purchase any other milk or heavy cream again. Their dairy products are rich and creamy. As a bonus to my preferences, they even come in sterilized refundable bottles! Drinking milk stored in cartons would be like eating cheese stored in a box! Their representatives are professional, personable and enthusiastic. I'm looking forward to their home delivery coming to my neighborhood.

Service was excellent! Milk and other products taste amazing! Went for the butter making classes that they offer during July and had alot of fun. For 12 dollars you get butter and buttermilk and a flavor packet. You get your money's worth. Love that I can get my milk there or at Fry's too.

Went looking for my favorite cold brew on their website (my usual store was out) & signed a friend & myself up for one of the "butter classes" they have. Wasn't sure what to expect but we had fun & was worth the drive to Laveen. I cannot say enough good things about the staff there, they are every part of what an excellent customer service team is. So much to offer aside from milk, too. Got my cold brew, vanilla shake, fruit cup with whipped cream, cheese curds, and a custom-made root beer float my friend requested that wasn't even on the menu. We will be returning there in the future and highly recommend it to anyone.

Every now and then the Waffle Love AZ food truck comes to Danzeisen Dairy. Since I've been wanting to try both, I planned to come down as soon as I found out. Waffle Love AZ had about 10 different combinations, and offered a make-your-own option! I ordered the pumpkin pie waffle. It was their regular waffle with pumpkin spice cream and dulce de leche drizzle. It was so bomb! The waffle was perfect-- crunchy on the outside with a nice chewy texture all throughout. And the pumpkin spice and dulce de leche complimented each other so well. Amd the best part is that the waffle had a really crunchy exterior, so it never got soggy. I also got a lil bottle of mocha milk, which is their cold brew mixed with milk. It tastes exactly as you'd expect: really creamy cold brew. But it was also more than that? I dont know what it is, but their milk is somehow so much better than milk you just pick up at a grocery store. It has so much body and a different type of creaminess that's just really satisfying to me, in this fall weather. They sell a few different kinds-- orange (aka orange creamsicle), strawberry, chocolate, and mocha. They even have seasonal flavors like root beer and egg nog! And they sell em in such cute glass bottles! My tummy is happy. 😄 Will be visiting more for future events!

This store is wonderful. They have many different flavors of milk including bubble gum milk or root beer milk & a few others. They have home made ice cream that tastes really good. They also have some of the best juices around. The orange juice is so good you’ll think it’s fresh squeezed. Every time I’m in the area I stop there. Try them out you’ll be happy you did.

We decided to take our clean empty Danzeisen bottles to their creamery store for recycling. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The ice cream was incredibly delicious (I highly recommend their Rocky Road flavor) and their refrigerator case was well stocked with other flavors and variety of Danzeisen Dairy products we did not know existed.

A friend turned me on to this place. Wow! Their whole milk is the best I've had since I was very young, and the cream is thick and delicious. Glass bottles are a definite bonus. The milk is good, yes! But REALLY pricey. I don't taste -that- huge of a difference between this milk and the gallon kind in most grocery stores for far cheaper. Yes, it is better, but so many people on here are treating it like it's fairy dust which at the end of the day, it is just milk. I have huge respect for this company and it's fun to see their simple ingredients devoid of high-fructose corn syrup. But the flavored varieties are still heavily loaded with sugar (more than you get in a can of soda) and not exactly a health food. I feel like there are still great alternatives like Shamrock farms for the price that offer a similar quality and flavor for a much cheaper price.I will say the root beer flavor is unique, delicious and actually worth the price. Also disappointed that the local grocery store did not display the $2 deposit with the price of the milk on the shelf, nearly doubling the price of the milk if you want to keep the bottle. Why not mark the bottles at what they cost WITH the deposit and the consumer gets $2 back after instead of forking over a hidden $2 fee per bottle at the register? I respect the environmental aspect of this but not the marketing. Need to be more transparent about the deposit. The gigantic lip makes the bottle difficult to pour without getting milk all over the side.

Love this milk and the flavors are all amazing! The root beer taste like a creamy root beer float. The cold brew coffee is great! if you like a creamy coffee this is the one to get. Strawberry milk is so good just the right amount of flavor. The chocolate is so creamy and flavorful, chocolate is one of my favorite. The family favorite is orange for a good reason it almost taste like a bowl of froot loops without having to eat the cereal. When it's in season the eggnog is the bees knees!! Seriously a must try for eggnog lovers. They have many flavors of ice cream and cheeses, I've only tried a few of them and have not been disappointed! Great staff fun and friendly! And the best part bringing back your old bottles gives you a two dollar credit on your next purchase how awesome is that!? Definitely one of the best local Dairies to get your Dairy fix at.

The strawberry milk is by far the best I've had and now that its the holiday season I'm buying their eggnog constantly. Also very very good! This quaint little family owned and operated dairy is SIMPLY AMAZING. If you grew up on fresh cow's milk being delivered to your home in glass bottles, then this dairy will be a blast from the past.they have several varieties of milk in the usual flavors of regular chocolate and strawberry. There's also Coffee, Cotton Candy, and orange creamcicle just to name a few. Also available are products like cold brew coffee and an amazing electric cooler that ooerates on either a standard 120 volt AC adaptor or a normal 12-24 volt automotive socket. It can keep your refrigerated items, as well as your frozen goods, at their proper temperatures (this way your not getting any speeding tickets from trying to race home with your groceries before they melt or go bad, an absolute necessity in triple digit heat. I'll definitely be back for more. The shop is also kept very clean and the staff are very personable and polite.

Absolutely LOVE the milk and egg nog I got from Frye’s. I will be buying this in the future. It did not disappoint. The fact that the product comes in glass is what caught my attention, reading that I could recycle the glass (if I didn’t want to keep the cool print) in the store for $2.00! Besides that it is in glass which is ultimately the take away for sure! I didn’t see just plain milk, but would definitely buy it. The price is worth the product. You have my support!!!

My husband, our oldest daughter and myself went to the dairy for the first time on a second Saturday for Waffle Luv. We also were able to return our empty glass bottles, and had a nice refund. Creamery is very clean, nice people, and the milk is frosty cold and tasty. We'll be back next month.

You won't find anything else like this in the area. They offer tastings of all of their products, so be sure to try them all. Bring the kids and the can hangout in the play area. I went on a weekend and there was a food truck out front, so we had lunch. All milk sold in glass bottles and when you bring them back you get a deposit for the bottle. They used to offer tours but recently stopped. 🤓Tip: Root Beer Milk is awesome.

This is the best cream I have tasted since I lived in upstate New York during the sixties where they had dairies that were not toxic like today. Amazing. Simply the best. Makes whipped cream in seconds. I don’t care what the cost is, and honestly it was not that high, it is fabulous.

Great place. You can get milk from a local dairy. They have lots of different flavors like chocolate, strawberry, and orange. Also, they do tours of the dairy if you are interested. They also have butter making classes. I was thinking about doing one of the classes. If I do I will update the review. Oh, I almost forgot. Make sure you save the jar and take it back when you go to get more milk because they will give you $2 credit for bringing the jar back. Otherwise, it gets expensive real fast.

Great place for farm fresh local milk. They have a few interesting flavors of milk. My favorite is the Arizona orange. They also have strawberry, chocolate, mocha, and root beer along with the standard 1%, 2%, whole and heavy cream. All their products come in old school glass bottles.

Our family came across this milk in Safeway a few years ago and loved the flavor. After Safeway was bought out by Albertsons and stopped carrying them, we were hard pressed to find another replacement. Luckily, we found out that the dairy was near our home and even offered a variety of flavors. That was a good 4 years back and this has been our go to for milk ever since. The customer service is fantastic and on Saturdays there are local farmers with various products or food trucks. Danzeisen Dairy have even expanded to carry lemonade and orange juice and this last holiday season they produced 3 types of eggnogs which were delicious!! A true Laveen treasure!

Bigbig fan of Danzeisen. All of their products are incredible. Their milk is a family favorite, their chocolate milk we get for every special occasion. The cream is perfect for buttercream I use to make wedding cakes. It's seriously the best flavor and texture of any cream I've ever used. Their lemonades make summer in Phoenix so much more liveable. I love that their milk jugs are returnable and they give you back your $2 deposit (it's written on every bottle). Way to help the environment and still ensure you get the best milk out there. Wish I could take the butter making class. This place is the living end! Not just free milk samples, but specialty butters, cream, ice cream. Its a lactose-tolerant person's heaven. We love this milk! We made the trip from fountain hills to the dairy with our kids because we saw something advertised that insinuated some type of event. We were pretty bummed to find out it's just a grocery store that sells their milk. No tours, no cows, nothing. Kind of a waste of a trip across town. Met a friend who wanted to see the cookie lady.. so off we went. After waiting in line I wandered over to the danzeisen shop and began chatting with the woman behind the counter. She offered me tastings of the eggnog and coffee..I ended up leaving with orange and root beer milk and of course eggnog.. I will be coming here for my milk from now on. I know its sold at frys but this is not out of my way and you can return your bottles for credit towards future purchases. Also they have a rewards program and you earn stars for purchases. I look forward to trying the honey and jelly next time.

Hi, I love buying your milk because of the glass packaging which can be repurposed, recycled or returned for deposit. Avoiding waste is the best! However, it is impossible to make kefir or yogurt out of your milk, it seems ultra pasteurized. Regular Lucerne milk makes perfect yogurt, but Local seems dead. Please make real milk!
