Never disappointed when coming to Morrone's when my family and I visit Philly. We have it saved in our favorites!! My kids loooooove this place!!!!

Three words ... Good as Hell, sometimes you have to endure long lines but oh man it's worth it for the sweet sugary goodness they provide. They work hard and they always do their best to provide services with a smile. The water ice is so good and the pepperoni pizza pretzels are a small meal. It's the kind of food that you need a nap for after eating.

I come here on my way home for the ice cream cones. I love custard. When it gets really hot -- that's when I switch over to water ice. My favorite ice cream cone is the half and half chocolate and vanilla WAFFLE cone with jimmies. My favorite water ice is tangerine with a little bit of mango and cherry..OMG! SOOOOO GOOD! Hopefully you luck up and there isn't a line. The line can be wrapped around the corner on a hot day. I went yesterday because it was raining and I knew no one would be out there. I was right! Only one person in line...so I lucked up!

Morrone's has sold their business it appears. I have been going here for over twenty years and there is a little difference. I have to go back and try something different. I would go back sometimes the lines can be long. I hope they keep original recipes. Great place tho for a tasty treat.

I love this place. I have been to King's, Fred's, Rita, George, hell everybody. But Morrone's is the best. HANDS DOWN. I love the smoothness and the flavor of their water ice, I like that it doesn't have chunks of ice like a few places, I love the amount of cheese they put on ur pretzels vs the small amount other places, and their people are always ready to serve you.

You gotta have Morrone's water ice when in Philly. The best to me, water ice reminds you of sorbet, but no cream. It's true flavors and variations is makes it fun. The water ice is not too sweet like other water ice brands. The only reason I gave 4 stars was menu! You had too much on it! Beef patties, pizza, hot dogs and more. The staff were the A Team. They worked like they owned this water ice stand and were still pleasant and friendly. Just stick to water ice and pretzels, I am sure you wasting the other food anyway!

I love the water ice. The small is ok only $1. The line is always long but they move fast. Make sure you get the beef pepperoni pizza pretzel...Very tasty and fresh pretzels.

Been coming here for MANY YEARS. Never been disappointed! My favorite flavor water ice from here is the pistachio kind. I know it sounds weird, but don't knock it until you try it lol. I also love the beef pepperoni pizza pretzels, they are delicious. Keep up the great work!

Ohhhh my as a kid I grew up at 50th and locust and on hot nights just before the sun went down u could hear the singing of the bell and u knew it was the morronies truck and u went to beg for money for a water ice and a pretzel..well as I past buy the location yesterday I had to stop and in all these many years they havent missed a beat and I got a hand dipped strawberry milkshake and it was a real milkshake with strawberries I was in heaven thank yall so much and the service was great too

I mean its Morrone, a classic hood water ice spot. Water ice is always fresh, no rocks in my cups. Sha feel... and you gotta top it off with a pretzel with mustard and a lil bit of salt ya mean. And prices aren't bad at all.
