Really delicious! We had the Cookie Monster and dough boy. We have never had rolled ice cream before and this was a really fun experience we got to watch them make it for us which was also super awesome. The atmosphere is also really cool and modern so it’s fun to just hang out and eat your ice cream! 10/10 would recommend

**First off, in this economy given how little people want to work, the staff here went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience even when they were busy! They are trying their hardest and actually working in a small town where most other people are sitting around doing nothing. ** The ice cream was great! Yes it takes a little time to make but it’s all part of the idea of handmade ice cream as you watch! I would definitely come back for the experience again! 6 stars all around! Keep up the good work

Mixins was some of the most amazing ice cream I’ve ever had. The experience was 10/10, an amazing environment & feel. Every item on the menu comes out looking extraordinary. They were short staffed today, so the wait was longer than usual & I could really tell the employees were working hard to get every bodies order done!! Loved the experience

Not your typical ice cream shop. Mixins creates their own cream and spreads it on a freezer plate while mixing predetermined toppings based on your order. Then they roll it using spatulas and place into a cup with additional toppings and whip cream. There are several ice cream creations to choose from. I don't think you can create your own based on the menu. The menu states $7 per creation but I found out that is the price for the pre-made ice cream in the freezer. If you want it fresh ice cream and watch them create it you pay $8. When we went there, Mixins seemed to be a fan favorite of the area. There are some chairs to sit and enjoy the ice cream. Upbeat music adds energy to the environment.

Oh my. My. My!!! So first you walk in and you can smell how clean this place is, and then you can see that it's spotless!! Then you get the sweetest girls to help you out. They were knowledgeable and informative and sorry friendly. They both knew how to do their job well! The ice cream was beautiful and artfully done and tasted amazing! This place is a must!!

When visiting a new place I always look for a cool ice cream shop. And Google pulled this one up for me. I told my friend I was visiting I wanted to go here and she informed it was not only a black owned business but also a woman owned business I knew I had to stop and support!! I had the Driving Me Bananas mixin and it was so good, and was so cold, which is not a bad thing. The lady who helped me was amazing as well and wrote my name in chocolate syrup which was pretty cool.

My husband and I came here with another couple we were out with. It's a very fun environment. Even though they were very busy, the 3 ladies working had a system down and were working very well together. On top of them being very busy they kept an excellent attitude and still greeted everyone as they walked through the door. We did wait for some time for our ice cream but it was worth it. They made it fresh right in front of us. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be going back to try more of their flavors.

My daughters and I just stopped by Mixins for our first rolled ice cream experience and loved it! It tastes delicious and the fun of watching it be made in front of you - with your name! - is awesome! Bre helped us and whoever hired her has a gem on their hands. The girls here were great. 5 stars! Friendly and fun to chat with. The product was okay, not great. 3 stars. Definitely fun to watch them do their thing but in the future I'd rather have regular ice cream. This is a good stop for kids as they may find the experience fun but from an adult standpoint there are better options for sure.

Love this place. My hubby and I often come here after dinner on date nights and it’s perfect. They recently changed their menu and I’m psyched about the new Chai. Tonight he got the new bubblegum one, and said he thoroughly enjoyed it.

I’ve walked passed this place many times since it opened and in the last couple weeks since I popped in for ice cream, I have returned 3 times. If you haven’t gone here yet, you need to. This is without a doubt, my favorite Ice cream place I’ve ever been to. The flavors are amazing, the service is the best and the vibe is fantastic. I genuinely have no complaints of any kind.

When I went there was only one employee, so it was naturally slow service, which is understandable. My order went well, and the service along with the fact that they write your name in the ice cream gave me a great impression. My friends order didn't go so well, what they ordered was supposed to have a chocolate base, my friend kindly pointed it out a few times and it wasn't fixed. They mentioned it and was told they could remake it, this time it was the same, vanilla rather than chocolate. We were patiently there for an hour and it would have taken them one minute max to fix this, only got 4 stars since they were short-staffed.

This place was SO FUN! The flavors are fun, and it is just neat to watch it all come together. Definitely worth the price if you ask me. At the time we went it was $7.00 for the bowl which you get 5/6 rolls. Could very easily have enough to share with someone.

Mixins is a great experience in ice cream! They make it from the liquid cream right in front of you! My wife got the Mint to Be which had great flavor. I got the Why So Salty, which was good but left a little to be desired. The process isn’t quick so if they’re busy you’ll likely be waiting awhile. I definitely recommend for a unique ice cream experience!

Best rolled ice cream in the city! This type of ice cream tastes a lot different than traditional. It's also made right in front of you from a liquid, and I really enjoy that. 7 dollars for anything on the menu. I love the decor of the place, plus the staff is so friendly and accommodating. I've only tried two of the menu options, but both were soooooo good. The strawberry cheesecake is my favorite, but pardon my french toast is yummy as well.

The ice cream tastes ok, not much flavor of it. I am more concerned about the cleanliness of the store and the server’s hygiene who made my ice cream. The cup that hold my ice cream milk looked very sticky and never rinsed for a long time. No hand washing was seen. The server was nice though.

Had an amazing experience here today! We were greeted by one of the owners who welcomed us and explained the menu. The woman that made the icecream was friendly and upbeat. They really made me feel appreciated as a customer. The decor is stunning as well! Plus the show they put on while making the icecream made me feel like a kid again. It was our first time going here this evening. It was super busy and the wait for our dishes was about 45 minutes until we got them. Stopped by this shop when a friend and I were walking around Downtown/The Old Market. When arriving, it definitely was busy but the employees appeared to had a system down and were keeping orders under control. It was a unique experience since it was rolled ice cream and it was all made to order (fresh). The prices are all set and standard across the board which is very reasonable. Would definitely return in the future to try out different flavors.

Absolutely delicious rolled ice cream from this place! Found downtown, it's a small cozy area where the employees are kind and very entertaining while you watch them make your frozen treat. Had to wait for at least 1:30 hours before finally getting the icecream. Although the employees were super hardworking and busy , but the ratio of customers to employees was disappointing. If the shop is earning so well, hire more people so that the wait time reduces. If I get an icecream after 2 hours , I would not recommend the place to anybody.

What a fun adventure! Your creation is made right before your eyes. I ordered the Cookie Monster. The ice cream had a creamy taste that just excited my taste buds, the cookies were fresh and crisp. Absolutely loved it. It did take 20 minutes for them to get to my order but that should tell you right there is worth it.

We came to Omaha for the 1st time this weekend on the spur of the moment. Spent the day at the zoo, and were hot, tired, and craving ice cream. Did a quick Google search for best ice cream, and found this gem. This is ice cream artistry. It's a little pricey, but this is no basic ice cream place! You get to watch your order being made, and it's soooooo good!

Great ice cream but very, very, VERY slow service. My family of four waited for over 30 minutes for our ice cream. Staff seemed very scattered, occasionally ringing up customers, occasionally running to a back room, and finally, occasionally making people's ice cream. No real organization or system in place. One of our cups got pushed to the back, so while the other three of us ate, my husband was still waiting on his ice cream. Great job preparing the ice cream though and it was very tasty!

Was at the downtown location and waited 40 minutes for our ice-cream. There were people walking in and walking out. The place was full with no seats left. The bathroom was out of toilet paper but still it was worth the wait. The gentleman there welcomed every person that walked in and was there alone. He was polite to every single person, everyone had a great experience that was patient and understanding. I truly hope that this young man gets the appreciation and recognition that he deserves for not just doing his job but the job of more than one and he killed it. 5 stars for this man.

Service and ice cream were Excellent! Price came with a good amount of ice cream considering the novelty and presentation. My concern is that they do not appear to be taking any COVID-19 precautions. No masks, distance, or sanitizing tables between customers. Luckily there were only a couple people in when we went and I had sanitizer on-hand.

I really don't know why people have to complain. I guess as a society we have come to expect instant gratification. People, just slow down and enjoy the experience for the tasty novelty that it is. I drove 6 miles out of my way to visit the 108th location. I had an absolute blast! The young ladies working when I visited obviously enjoyed what they were doing. Customer service was top-notch, and the end result was quite yummy! I will definitely visit again, as I am in town for the next 3 weeks!

This place is very unique in the way they present their ice cream. It's very good & delicious! The staff on July 17 at 730pm were super. They explained everything well and were very enthusiastic about their job. They made the experience worth while. Glad we went.
