We were in town for an event and did a quick search for ice cream on our way out after getting gas. When we pulled up, I was pleased with the look of the building. Now, when you order ice cream from Dairy Queen, you know what you're ordering most of the time. Going somewhere new, it takes a moment to understand the menu. We had also never had Gelato. This created some questions. We had obviously never been here before. The shop itself was ADORABLE. The staff, not so much. They didn't seem to be enthused with our simple questions. They also weren't overly helpful, which is unfortunate. In fact, they seemed bothered that we had questions, even though there were two of them working and not one other customer in the store. They were also priced quite high. I believe one scoop was like $3.55 plus tax. That's a couple bites for the average person. The ice cream itself was decent, nothing I would brag about. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Not many restaurants in the Omaha area have had as much publicity as eCreamery, but it is all deserved. The atmosphere is special and nostalgic, and the ice cream flavors are really good. My family and I especially like visiting here around College World Series time because they have little baseball helmet sundaes. How could someone pass up one of those? We can't wait to head back sometime this spring when ice cream eating season returns. :)

As a weird woman who doesn't like sweets, chocolate, caramel, ect....(yea, roll your eyes everyone) I actually LOVE the Red Velvet Cake ice cream. I was hesitant to try the three flavors my husband brought home. I'm actually anxious to try more! I'll try anything once! The owners are kind as well. I enjoy supporting local businesses that create a little somethin'....even for me! Who knew! I have hidden my yummy little tub for a late night nibble.... he can get his own ;)

The cookies at their ice cream/cookie truck…total disappointment. Waste of calories and $2 each, and they had zero flavor. The chocolate chip cookies had maybe 5 chocolate chips. I didn’t know you could mess up basic cookies until we had these. I mean, no one in our group would even call them “ok.” They were bad. Their ice cream at the actual store is pretty good, we’ve been a few times, which is the reason for any stars. Cookies alone..zero stars.

Great flavor options!! Very delicious, one of my favorite ice cream places in Omaha. It is located in a very cute area! Peanut butter cup is tasty. You get more in a single scoop cone than dish if you are trying to get your moneys worth! VERY hip!

Addendum! We actually got to taste their gelato ourselves! Happened to be in town for hockey and had to make sure we stopped as our family members loved their holiday gifts! Was delicious, just as they said! We had their ice cream sandwich and it is HUGE, but oh so good...you will eat it all! They don’t currently have dine-in but easy enough to take out and super friendly staff. We placed two online orders with them and the first has been successfully delivered to Florida, frozen and delicious!! The lucky recipient has already claimed CHBBFS as “incredible!”. They can’t wait to try the 7 other flavors they received! Customer service from the eCreamery team has been top notch. They responded even after their business hours and have so nice to work with. So happy to support an independent business these days! And I will say, their prices are extremely reasonable as well. Delicious ice cream can’t be beat!

The service is exceptionally friendly with patience while you try to figure out what exactly you want. They have recently joined with a cookie company. You can get personalized Ice cream and they have ultimate collections available. Great choices and makes a great gift. Hope to do a personalized Ice cream one day. ____ previous review Banana split sunday was priced at $7.95 with generous amounts. They had Ice cream, gelato and sorbet. Their basic sundae started at $4, an extra scoop about $1.25 more. Lots of seating inside and out. It's a bright space that's open and trendy. Everything we tasted was good. The staff was accommodating with our requests. The vegan flavor was very good today. Peanut butter oatmeal cookie. They use almond milk.

I love this cute spot in Dundee...mostly because they have cookies. So when I don't like any of the ice cream flavors, I just get a cookie! One time they had cinnamon gelato (the best flavor of gelato/ice cream ever) and it was the best flavor - I came back the next day and it was already gone. I had mentioned how much I liked it and they said several people in that same day had said the same...so I really wish they had remade it. Also they don't let you try any of the flavors beforehand which is a huge thing for me...sometimes their flavors are really strong and sometimes you can't really tell the flavor.

So perfect and delicious. Not only did they let you design 3 flavors of our choice with whatever toppings we wanted and name them, but they delivered them to the venue free of charge. Ice cream is my favorite food, and it was such a fun addition to our special day. We had (very little) leftover, and they were delicious! We will design pints of our ice creams every year of our anniversary because we loved them so much.

I can’t eat dairy so I don’t have the opportunity to go to ice cream shops very often. eCreamery had an almond-based vegan caramel chocolate chip ice cream that was delicious! (Also gluten and soy free!) My mother-in-law got the [dairy] chocolate marshmallow and said it was very good as well!

We had a wonderful experience as visitors to Omaha. 3 young men were manning the counter, and they were helpful and friendly. I had the s’mores ice cream, my children and husband had malts. It was the best ice cream I’ve ever had, and the serving was generous.

But you need to seriously reevaluate your staff… they didn’t say one word to me except when I was asked to tip, over all stuck up, and I even told them to have a good one and she could do nothing but sneer. Our first day in town and exploring we found this place on Google and my son wanted ice cream. The place looks super cute and the 2 guys there were patient and helpful. I had a scoop of coffee toffee on a chocolate chip cookie and my son got a vanilla shake both were very yummy!

Five stars for me. I have been here since I was 3 years old and my Mimi and papa lived a block away. Always had the most amazing flavors great for a summer day and always had the cutest decor along with the nicest people serving you. One of my favorite parts is the bar seating with all of the bright colors and being able to see all of the celebs that went there

Ice cream was good homemade quality with a decent(not huge) variety of flavors. Clean retro look, unfortunately no inside seating at this time. What I didn't like was Dundee itself, it's pretty boring down there, and not a lot to walk around and see while your eating your cone. The cost was about on par with Coneflower, 2 - 2 scoop cups/cone was around $11.00. a little pricey, but tasty.

I love this place! Their flavors are unusual but delicious! Today, I had red velvet gelato and chocolate cherry (I forget the name). They were so good! They have several vegan flavors daily. Very good and friendly staff. I'll definitely go back!

Really did not enjoy the vegan cookies and cream ice cream, had to toss after a few bites. Slimey watery texture and no flavor besides “sweet”. Gave it 3 stars because the person I was with enjoyed their regular dairy cone. If you’re a vegan I’d go elsewhere

It’s hard to go wrong with ice cream, but ecreamery.com is fantastic! Back in my Omaha days we would regularly visit their Dundee location where the wait in line was a small price to pay for the best treat around. Imagine my delight in finding it is available online and in super fun giftable packages. They customize virtually anyway you wish, get well soon, birthday, congratulations or design your own. In these pandemic times a nice treat that allows to stay at home also. Best part is the assortment is broad, some basics and some unique flavors, and I’ve never had one that wasn’t amazing. I just sent two 4-packs to friends far away and they are hooked. Check it out, my latest faves are lemon cookie crunch and cinnamon flavors!

I've patronized and loved this place since about 2012, and we always go here to celebrate big events in our family. We went tonight for a kid-free outing and although the ice cream was fantastic as always, I just couldn't get past the fact that not a single employee was wearing gloves. This includes the one scooping ice cream into our waffle cones and holding them with his bare hand. I would be bothered by this at any point, but I was just dumbfounded seeing this during the pandemic, when we all expect a little higher level of care to be given to cleanliness. I hope this is remedied quickly, though I can't say I will be back any time soon to check.

Unusual and wonderful flavors, very tasty. The place is clean and in order. They offer tasting of two of the many flavors on hand, toppings and your choice of different cones or a bowl. The employees work at a good speed to get you in and out with a delightful experiense, so don't let the line out the door scare you off. It's worth the wait.

I have visited this ice cream shop a handful of times over the years and have never really been impressed with any aspect of the business. The ice cream is of good quality, but didn't stand out. The staff is generally pretty good but are not always pleasant, even during slow times. Lastly, the condition of the establishment is lacking. I arrived early in the day and there was lots of dust, most of the surfaces and chairs were sticky and there was a very off-putting aroma. Overall, not too bad, but there is definitely room for improvement.

I absolutely love butterbrickle ice cream, but the big ice cream makers don't make it, or my stores don't carry it. So, I was thrilled to find eCreamery's butterbrickle at my local store. Even more thrilled when I got it home and had some. I'd found the butterbrickle ice cream of my childhood and couldn't be happier. Until I couldn't find it at my local store or a few of the other stores of the same chain. So, I went to the source and straight to the eCreamery shop. I ordered a quart and a cup with 3 scoops. I was elated. For about 3 minutes. This was in no way the same ice cream I'd gotten at my store. There were no toffee pieces in my ice cream at all. So I waited to go back into the store (the 8 people rule) and when I told the young man my problem he explained to me that this was what they had, and that they didn't make the ice cream someone else had. They did give me some toffee pieces to mix in myself, but the let down was there. So now I have a quart of basically vanilla ice cream that I have to mix in toffee pieces myself. The ice cream is phenomenal, the store is adorable, but I certainly did not get what I wanted and expected. Sure hope my local grocery store gets more butterbrickle in soon and that the ice cream maker doesn't forget the toffee pieces. I'd whole heartedly endorse your ice cream, anything BUT the butterbrickle I purchased last night.

Used to live in Dundee two blocks from ecreamery when it first opened. Best place for ice cream/gelato/sorbeto in Omaha in my honest opinion. Their coffee gelato is still my favorite. Miss it and will be ordering from there soon.

Still the best homemade ice cream in Omaha! I am a serious ice cream lover, but ecreamery is always my first choice when going out for some. The texture is always so smooth and not grainy or icy like Coneflower. They have classic flavors (the vanilla is stellar!) as well as more creative additions like green tea, triple berry oatmeal, puppy chow, and avocado. When you check in on Yelp, there’s usually a free waffle cone in it for you! They are also often on Groupon for a pretty good deal. We send frozen pints to our relatives out of state.

Sea-salt caramel with a sugar cone was fantastic. My girlfriend had a peach tea ice cream with the waffle cone. The flavors may not be as out there as Ted & Wally's, but the execution is done well - very tasty! Cool little spot to get dessert after dinner in Dundee.

Excellent ice cream. eCreamery had already been a Dundee hit long before going on the popular hit TV show, Shark Tank. Although a deal was never struck with the sharks the publicity certainly didn't hurt. A must try, if in the area and wanting good icream, or perfect for buying online and shipped to your front door. The staff didn't really know whether some of the ice creams contained gluten. That's fine. I get it but as a newly diagnosed Celiac, I am learning the ins and outs myself and had to Google some of the ingredients. As a food service establishment the emphasis of common food allergies should be listed and the staff should be somewhat familiar. I'm not trying to give harsh criticism but genuinely want success and for eCreamery and customers alike to feel comfortable and safe with the flavours and ingredients. I felt a little burdensome and guilty for asking... And having to live with autoimmune diseases are hard enough. Other than that? Great flavours! Friendly folks.

We really just wanted some mint chocolate ice cream they didnt have any. They make different ice cream to serve with unique flavors. We tried smurf berry and chocolate pudding. My daughter loved the smurf ice cream which i thought was sour like candy lol. The pudding was exactly like frozen choco pudding.

If your looking for a "sweet" place to treat yourself, try eCreamery in Dundee. Homemade ice cream in flavors never dreamed of. One of our favorite sweetreat places in the entire state. Whenever visiting we make it one of our stops & if you visit on Tuesday you can get one for $2.00. During CWS in June they even have flavors named after the teams participating. As they are illuminated so are the flavor.

Super tasty ice cream and gelato. Usually a long line (10+min) when its warm or hot out, plenty worth the wait. Same if not cheaper than chain ice cream stores (im looking at you DQ, 6 bucks for 2 small cones SMH) and made fresh! Flavors change with the seasons (even monthly for some) and theres always a friendly face to help and offer a sample. If I cant make it into the store I love getting the pints at local grocers. Quickly becoming a must have from Omaha!

Some of the best pastries I've ever had. I tried 3 types of cannoli, cucidati and the svogliatelle. I grew up with my Sicilian mother's great cannoli, and cucidati, and must say that the cannoli are the best I've ever had, even better than the ones I had in Italy. The cucidati are exactly like those I grew up with, and the svolgliatelle were crispy and flaky. Anyone visiting Little Italy, or Manhattan for that matter, must stop by this gem of an Italian bakery to treat themselves. You won't regret it!
