The best Gelato I’ve tasted in NYC. When I go to Little Italy I have to try a new flavor from figo😍. They really take care of their clients and make them fell comfortable. I recommend this place and the experience 100%.

By far the best gelato you will find. The flavors are all distinct and fresh. The gelato is consistently velvety smooth - no icy bits here. Don’t usually visit the same place twice on a trip - may have visited three times on this trip. It’s THAT good!

For some reasons, I didn’t find out this place until last month. And I’m glad that I came! Recommend their gelato! It’s one of my top three spots now. Overall the texture was thick and creamy; the taste was sweet. As a result, my favorite is 80% chocolate sorbet which was not that sweet. Coconut flavor was also a hit. These were the 2 flavors I had. Their signature flavor FIGO, was unique and good but! a reminder, it was really really really sweet. Too much for me.

The authentic italian gelato, variety of flavors and some desserts. I tried a two flavors cup, lemon and mango and it tasted like I was eating a real fruit, amazing!!! If you're in little Italy, that's a stop you won't regret it!

We went and have a cappuccino it was perfect for my taste. Strong and tasty. We had 3 ice cream and 2 sorbets one special of the month " frutta Della passione" ( passion fruit) it was a sorbet flavor not sweet, ut taste it like the actual fruit. The other sorbet was mango, not my favorite. We have one chocolate a little sweet for the flavor, and the Nocciola also amazing. The figo have the perfect combination ( ricotta, caramelized figs and amaretti). Coming back to try other flavors.

come to Figo for the gelato but stay for affogato. an affogato is basically gelato drowned in a shot of hot espresso. the shop, itself, is modern, clean and gets lots of light. there is seating outside in a covered shed. the interior is well-maintained and doesn't show any wear and tear from high foot traffic in Little Italy. there looks to be like 20+ different gelato flavors, a variety of Italian pastries, and other dessert options to be enjoyed at Figo. typically an affogato is made with vanilla gelato + espresso but i opted for Stracciatella + espresso. something told me that the vanilla gelato filled with ribbons of milk chocolate would go well with a finely brewed shot of espresso. the light vanilla airy gelato + chocolate shavings is a nice contrast to the bite of an espresso. tbh, an affogato delivers the best of both world in terms of enjoying a post-meal dessert--the rush of caffeine as well as the sweetened dairy of sugar and chocolate in a cold versus hot dessert. an affogato is tremendous nice treat especially in these warm weather months. easily portable as one strolls around Little Italy with a spoon to savor those coffee-covered gelato spoonfuls and potable as well when you get to the end of your coffee / dessert adventure. affogato, $7.75 + tax + tip staff were friendly and quick. totally smooth transaction drops mic cuz this is a sweet buzz i out zzz

Forgive my partially eaten photo but I felt like people needed to see this dark chocolate flavor. It's insane! It tastes like dark choc brownie batter - it's so rich and smooth! The choc was a little too filling but it was an incredible taste. The other flavor was lemon and was a refreshing fruit sorbet style.

The prices and flavors of this place were pretty good, there’s not that many selection of flavors but all of them taste amazing. If you happen to go to this place definitely try the lime flavor if you want to try a super rich and flavorful gelato

Magnificent Gelato! Fresh, classic gelato straight from Italy to Mulberry Street. Owner is sweet and gelato is authentic. What an amazing treat we had today. All flavors are delicious but my personal favorite is the fig and the vegan dark chocolate. Hot chocolate made with real chocolate and macchiato is pairs nicely as an after treat. Must try after lunch/dinner.

This place just rebranded! Gelateria MO’ is a famous Gelato chain that started from my hometown in Italy. It’s great to have it here too! The flavours and the texture are very similar to what I have back home although I can taste they fix it a little to fit the taste preferences here. Very recommended!

Very nice gelato in a nice area. You can have the ice cream in tables outside. The flavors weren't as strong but very creamy nice italian gelato. Pistachio flavor is indeed a must. You can have coffee and other Italian pastries or confectionaries such as cannoli and tiramisu.

Amazing customer service and even better gelato. Ordered a Waffle cone with Tiramisu and Italian Coffee and another with Ferrero Roche and Fig. All four flavors were delicious, and the gelato was extra creamy. We also ordered the Caramel Pecan bar — another A+

My new favorite gelato place in NYC. I don’t know when this place opened up, but having lived in Italy and spoken to Italians about how gelato should be made, I can attest that this place is as close as it gets to the real deal. They use fresh ingredients and prepare the gelato in small batches to ensure a fresher taste. I’ve come here twice and gotten the pistacchio twice because it is just THAT good. The figo and strawberry flavor are also very good. :)

Cute little gelato place with other Italian treats. Delicious, creamy gelato. So smooth. Mauro was so helpful! He let us try lots of flavors to get what we wanted. And even checked to make sure it was gluten free for us. Some dairy free options too.

Absolutely amazing gelato and sorbet(to). Loved it so much I ended up having 6 scoops at once. Their gelato and sorbets had best texture, the perfect amount of sweetness and bright vibrant colors. The gelato had a really good flavor which didn't diminish with every spoon and the sorbets were refreshingly fresh and flavorful till the last spoon. They have a ton of options including vegan, gluten free ones as well. The prices are very good and portions decent. They also have coffee, cannoli, pastries and other deserts as well. I liked their Sicilian pistachio gelato and their mixed berry sorbet the most.

Went for ice cream, but they have a bunch of other options even tiramisu. I tried the Figo one which was very interesting and tastefully . I got the Hazelnut and coffee. Both very good! Service was nice. 7$ for a small tho, it s a little pricey but they put a lot.

Best Gelato I’ve had in the city. The lemon was amazing, the flavor profile was perfectly sour and a great refresher to perk up an afternoon. And the Fragola had the perfect creamy texture with a strong taste of strawberries.

Wasn’t worth waiting in a long line for. Wanted to get the tiramisu gelato, but was disappointed to learn it was sold out. So I got the dark chocolate and Ferrero Roche flavors instead which were decent, but nothing impressive. Definitely have had better gelato in the city.

Excellent quality gelato ! Came here on Halloween 2021 and tried the Pumpkin gelato which was tasty as expected, with the Bocio chocolate hazelnut which had actual pieces of hazelnut inside. I also sample the strawberry sorbet which is so creamy and tasty it's definitely good even if you were looking for gelato . They are doing samples. My friend had the vanilla and the banana which were both mild and nice. I sampled the pistachio too and that was also delicious. On Mulberry street in Little Italy . Two medium cups (which had 2 scoops in it ) was like $14 total. Excellent quality. Recommended .

Figo’s gelato was extremely delicious and I could see myself coming back time after time for a post date night treat. We got a small cup with strawberry and caffe gelato. The strawberry tasted so fresh and fruity that after sampling it we had to get a scoop. The caffe is a solid flavor that you can never go wrong with in my opinion, and Figo’s did not disappoint.

Stopped in and were REALLY happy that we did! The gelato was delicious, and to say that it was served with a smile would be grossly understating it. The gentleman Tony behind the counter was friendly and gracious in helping us. You could see his joy in serving their treats. It was no surprise that it turned out that he is the owner of the shop. He genuinely wanted his guests to have an incredible experience… which is exactly what we had. In fact, he prepared a specially made cannoli for us. Delicious!! Absolutely phenomenal!!

If you want to eat great ice cream in little Italy I recommend this place. There’s a variety of vegan options, and the gelato is good. The prices are a bit high for my opinion, but we enjoyed.

OMG guys Real Italian gelato finally in New York ! I am from Rome and I can truly recommend Figo il gelato for all of you sweet tooth!! They have authentic Italian bomboloni with Nutella , is a must ! Try also the pistacchio gelato flavor : that is the real one! I been there several times now , so I tried a lot of their products and I can say “ wow! Seams to be at home , same flavor , same taste , same smell , everything is so good !” From cannoli siciliani to a simple cappuccino with a slice of torta della nonna is absolute worth it to stop at least ones ! You will be addicted ! Very well done Figo ! Bravi !!!

Found this place this afternoon accidentally and tried it for the first time. I got a “big cup” with Ferrero + Almond + Hazelnut gelatos and I liked all of them. I also got a tiramisu on the side but I wasn’t a fan of it. I will definitely return as a customer. 5/5.

Love the creamy and smooth texture to the gelatos. They come in a good variety of fresh and classic Italian flavors like tiramisu and latte. The shop also sells other Italian desserts like affogato and cannoli. I came here after dinner and appreciated its outdoor seating where I could relax and eat.

The watermelon gelato is so good!! I’m not usually one to get the fruity flavors but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it! It has me reconsidering how I place my gelato orders in the future, trying more fruit flavors. I also had the lemon gelato which I didn’t like as much, unless it wasn’t a great combo together.

The absolute best gelato I’ve ever had. You just have to get a scoop of nerone. It’s dark chocolate that almost tastes like brownie batter (not too sweet though). It’s a sorbet, so it’s vegan and gluten free. Love this spot!! Highly recommend

I don’t have problem with paying 7 bucks for medium size cup. My problem is how small the portion is compared to other places. My medium size barely topped the container that I nearly asked if they had messed up my order. In terms of portion, if small is 1 scoop, medium is more like 1.25 scoop with two flavors. I felt a bit cheated and frustrated because I would’ve asked for bigger size had I known it would be that small. And I’m a small person. Flavor is amazing and I would go back there. Just charge more and give out regular portions. The small size seem to be a better value.

they let me try a bunch of different flavors and i loved them all! i got the mango sorbetto and the fresh strawberry, which is a special of the month. the former was the best mango sorbetto i’d ever had, and the strawberry was very good. highly recommend!

Wonderful gelato! My favorite in New York, ridiculously fresh ingredients, always good, no ice crystals. Always creamy always full of flavor and the correct temperature. Made right on the spot, no one is trucking it into them, or doing some other weird stuff and then they put their name on it. They make it here and it is great. They bring cheese in from Sicily for the cannoli filling!! Others might say they do it, but they really do it here and the quality cannot and is not matched in NYC, Philly, or DC.

It is very rare that you eat something so good you involuntarily have to moan. This is true gelato of the highest quality. Only in Italy have I found gelato this good. It's gelato, NOT ice cream. A huge difference, if you ask me. Gelato is smooth and has intense flavor. The fragola sorbetto (strawberry sorbet) tastes like you took the best strawberries of the season, mushed them, and froze them into a smooth delight. No comparison to strawberry flavor or strawberries that have been heated (like in a preserve), the gelato tastes like fresh strawberries. So this made me moan. The other highly recommend flavor is bacio (chocolate hazelnut). Kinda like if you made Ferrero Rocher into a gelato, but 10 times more intense hazelnut flavor. To die for. Plus, the owner (he is from Milano, Italy) and the staff are very friendly and nice and let you try the flavors before you buy. And the prices are actually lower than I would have expected for a place like this. I will never in my life go to NYC without visiting this place. If you'd want to convince me that there is a better gelato place in town, good luck.

had a craving for sweets and im so glad i stopped here. i ordered vanilla gelato (one of the most basic flavors) but it was really delicious! it had such an intense vanilla flavor, the simplicity of the ingredients is what made it delicious. it is a bit pricey but it’s a nice treat.

They're sooo so so nice and friendly to each and every customer, down to the last few minutes of open hours. I got to try a few flavors and each sample was MASSIVE, literally the largest gelato samples I think I'll ever have in my life lol. And of course the gelato itself is super delicious. The cannoli's really good too which is impressive since I'm generally not crazy about them!

Awesome! Finally a place to taste a real Italian ice cream with high quality ingredients that can only be tasted in Italy! There is usually a line outside the shop, but it is a sign that something delicious is worth waiting for! Highly recommended to all lovers of real ice cream!!

Been going to Morgensterns and decided to try Figo as they’re reviews were better. While the selection is much MUCH less and hence not as varied creatively, I do think their ice cream is really great. I think better than Morgensterns but it’s a close call.

Admittedly, I’ve never had gelato but that being said, this is a great little gelato shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area this shop is worth a stop! I love this place! Everything is so delicious! The cheesecake, the tiramisu, the gelato- everything 5 stars! The tiramisu is especially good- it's SO light but also so satisfying and just delish! The staff is also wonderful too. They are so nice and hospitable and really go out of their way to talk to you and answer any questions and give suggestions. You can tell the owner really cares about his customers and wants to provide a great experience, which I've consistently had. There are a lot of touristy italian spots in Little Italy that are awful and so not worth their ridiculous prices- but Mo Gelato is a real gem. I'd recommend it to anyone. So delicious!

Noticed this place while eating at a nearby restaurant. After dinner we stopped by for some desert. I can not believe how helpful the staff is. They will let you sample any flavor you want and how many you want. I settled on the Coco gelato and it did not disappoint. There was some seating inside and some nice benches outside to enjoy your treat.

This store offers both gelato and sorbet (non-dairy) options. I tried Nerone, the dark chocolate sorbet, which was surprisingly rich for a non-dairy chocolate flavor. They have some seats outside but it's still a fairly well-trafficked area of Little Italy so they will likely be filled on a summer day. Stroll around the neighborhood while you eat your dessert, there's a lot of good street art around!

Holy smokes, this is good stuff. The server from Turino was very accommodating with my three kids' delays in their order. It's a great place to get gelato, and their "bacio" flavor is essentially a Nutella gelato. The nerone dark chocolate wins, though. I haven't had this quality of gelato since I was in Europe. $36 for four large servings of gelato. The large is too big, however. Get medium or small.

The guy behind the counter was very patient and welcoming (since it was our first time there) Then my brothers came home with their pastries.. believe it was lemon pecan pie and tiramisu and W-O-W mind blowing. Out of this world. Delicious. Favorite one is the tiramisu, but my only complaint was the bottom layer of the cake. It was VERY WET & A WEIRD SOGGY texture, so that kind of threw me off a little. I wonder if its made fresh daily and how long has it been sitting there??....
