what would normally come in a Chinese rice/fried rice container comes a snowball. this has made them stand out and maintain popularity in the snowball business. SNOWBALLS only. no pickles/nachos etc. depending on what time you go you may experience a wait. it’s located in a residential area so parking is free. no bathrooms available to public. there’s a bench if you decide to sit and enjoy. the neighborhood is also beautiful for a nice stroll. not far from st charles st / streetcar line

My family has been coming here for longer than I’ve been alive. The interior had not changed from my earliest memory. This place knows Snoballs. Across Nola, this place has some of the best ice. As in the finest and texture. Personally this place is my favorite.

Outstanding snowballs. I had heard about this place but really didnt know just how good they were. Upon entering, you could smell all the flavors and after I received my order, I was just blown away. This place really rocks and wont disappoint. If your in the New Orleans area, come check this out. Its a must

LOVED the experience at this place. Such a variety in unique flavors made ordering a difficult but fun adventure. The flavors were delicious, and some sizes come in Chinese takeout containers instead of regular cups, which is fun and unique as well. Great for kids and adults alike!

Our snowballs were pretty tasty, but not as good as the Sno-Bliz at Hansen's. We would come back - our treats did taste pretty good. But, we both agreed we enjoy Hansen's more. The main complaint we have is the flavor and quality of the syrups.

Fantastic snowballs. The long line moves relatively fast and theyre well worth it. Mom had the banana foster cream which was fantastic. I had a half almond and half nectar which was equally great. Good prices and friendly staff. Cash only.

Got my order wrong but it was still good! A yummy, cooling treat on a very hot day. They had a canopy set up so you could sit in the shade while you wait.

I have been going here since the late 60s.Great syrups,lots of flavors. My favorite I chocolate.I think it is made w/Hersheys ! The ice this visit was super fine,like real snow,such a delight. There are benches to sit on ,no inside service. This is family run business. SUPPORT LOCAL.

I've been going to this snoballs stand since I was a kid. They have the best snoballs in my opinion and I won't eat snoballs from any other place. I try to get a snoballs every time I come to visit home. I always get too much snoballs but my intentions are good.

This is an iconic place to go for snowballs. Yet, I tend to find them overly sweet. You can get your snowball in a Chinese takeaway box apparatus, but I wouldn't recommend it as alot of your snowball will end up in the plastic bag that comes with it. Plenty of flavors to choose from, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it on a hot day!

A must-do when in New Orleans! The peach cream was the best one. But we also loved our root beer and cookie dough flavors! Our 1 year-old was not discriminating between the three flavors and our picky 4 year-old also loved all three flavors. Something for everyone, truly!

Great prices & fast service. Also, I love their flavor selection. This time I got a medium Frozen Mintz in a cup which is a creamer version of Spearmint, my dad got Spearmint small in a cup and my son got Cotton Candy with gumballs in a small Chinese pale. All 3 came to only $7.35.... so cheap & so good. This is by far my favorite snowball stand in all of Nola.

Snowballs were served in a leaky Chinese food box wrapped in a plastic bag. Not a great experience if you're in a car. Snowballs were already partially melted when they handed them to me. A very odd snowball experience, but my wife loves this place...

The roads around Williams Plum Street Snowballs are under construction or in need of being repaired but make your way there anyway. If you think this is the same as a snowcone, you have another think coming. It is refreshing and full of flavor. Have the condensed milk on top of your favorite flavor and you will not be disappointed!

Hands down the BEST snowball in NOLA! Donna and her husband have been running it for 40 years and have never missed a beat. Their customer service is top notch and their flavors are to die for!!! Cream Ice Cream is my all time FAVORITE!!! I lived in Dallas and now NC and rarely get to town in the summer. They are closed in the winter and I'm so bummed. A New Orleans landmark, Plum Street is the place to be when needing a snowball. Their wide variety of flavors (including cream flavors and chocolate) make it a must on hot summer days/nights. A couple tips from a local: know what you want before order (it’s a small space and not much time for pondering), have cash because that’s all they take, and be nice or leave. Enjoy your snowball and don’t forget to come back multiple times.

This has been a go to place since I was a kid. The flavors are good and consistent. If you see a line, don't worry, it moves fast. Try the Orchid Cream or Banana Cream. Better yet, do a half and half. You won't regret it.

The snowballs are good. They are higher priced then other snowball stands and they don't give you enough juice. It is a good environment to sit and eat them. If in the neighborhood will stop but won't go out the way for them.

This is my FAVORITE snowball stand. There is no inside seating and lines can get pretty long so have an idea of what you want. You generally order size first, then tell the next person what flavor you want. This depends on how busy it is. I come here every time I'm back in town. I love asking for a large because they always warn my of how big it is. You can also get snowballs in cups or in Chinese takeout containers. Always get a plastic bag to prevent spilling. They only take CASH.

Tons of flavors to choose from. I had Pina Colada cream and it was great and by some type of magic - the ice didn't melt while I ate an entire large size!!! I will say that I ate it in the comfort of an air conditioned vehicle however I was able to savor it for about 10-15 min and the ice didn't melt except in my mouth!!

An order of magnitude better than any other snow cone/snoball shop. Very great neighborhood atmosphere. Their snoball flavors can have cream mixed in beforehand. Also, they use condensed milk instead of generic cream, which is 2x good. A perfect treat on a hot day/evening. PS: hours last until 8PM, contrary to the listing on Google.

A local said it was a place that we should not miss. We took the St. Charles trolly to Oak St then walked about 4 blocks. It is a tiny shop in the middle of a residential area. They serve great snowcones. One type of snowcone has condensed milk with the flavoring. Wow is that good.
