Reviews of Legendairy Milkshake Bar
Jessica F
We absolutely loved this milkshake bar! They were so fancy and tasted really amazing too! We got the Shake it Up, Buttercup! And the Sweet & Salty Cheesecake. They were both very good and even tasted really good mixed. The sweet and Salty kinda helped bring the overly sweet buttercup down a notch. Would totally come back here! They are pretty filling. We split two between 4 people easily.

If you were not looking for this place, you would walk right by it.
The lady behind the counter was super helpful in telling us that the 8 oz is only $1.00 less than the 16 oz so get the 16 oz if your going to share.
Well its topped to the max with sugar, OH Yea...SUGAR! However the milkshake itself is in the jar so I would think 16 is the better way to go.
This place is expensive, but its fun to go and get a creation.

Visited on a Monday around 3 pm & there was no wait. We pretty much had the whole dining room to ourselves. Waited maybe 10-15 minutes for a 8oz s’mores milkshake for $14.22. It was pretty good & definitely will be returning to try something different. Cute building!

Not sure if it was because of the timing of day (early evening) or freezing cold weather, but there wasn’t much of a wait at all (maybe 10-15 min overall). The prices are definitely high for a milkshake by any other standards, but it’s also an over the top experience for sure. The Death by Chocolate was great, but still kinda tough to eat without needing to separate all of the major parts first. Almost felt like I had to eat the brownie first, then try to either mix together the whipped cream, chocolate chips, and sprinkles before finally having the actual shake.
Overall, it’s definitely a dessert I’d be up for having again, but I can’t say it’s worth waiting in line for as long as I’ve seen before (let alone the fairly steep price).

I saw one of these legendairy milkshake bars featured on a food channel, so I thought it best to pay a visit. Of course, being a chain there is no real charm to the place and the restroom reminds me of a bad dream, but the shakes are delicious and painfully filling!
Unfortunately, I think the shakes are priced a bit high, yes, they are huge and full of awesome stuff, but if I am going to pay 36$ for two shakes again, the ice cream better be homemade and the ambiance something better than a bus station.
Cheers!

Over the top milkshakes! They are pricey, but the kids will love it. The adults will too. LOL
Killer hot chocolate to. A little sweet, but good.
Definitely worth at least 1 visit.
Pros: Great location, big menu, friendly staff
Cons: Pricey

Legendary Milkshakes was a place my son wanted to go to really bad and online it looked amazing. In person the store was nice, but the shakes and price soon killed the vibe.
The shakes look huge online and come in a cool jar. However, the jar is like $8-$10 extra on top of a $13-17 shake. That is a bit extreme IMO.
The selection was great and service was fast. Outside of that the shakes were OK. Nothing we had will blow your hair back.
Overall, I would say this is a novelty and you can go get a crazy looking shake, but for $40+ for a regular, a kids size, no souvenir jar or outstanding flavor, for me it is a pass. Super bummed that this was not what we had hoped.
Noble Keyser
Incredible presentation and unique pre designed flavor combinations! They even had an option for dairy-free customers.
The high prices reflect the time required to create these concoctions and to maintain rent in this major city, however from a flavor perspective, the price isn't worth it. You also don't get to keep the glass as a souvenir, that's an extra $3.
Kaelyn Russell
Got the Death by Chocolate, Sweet and Salty Cheesecake, Shake it Up Buttercup, and Rolling in the Cookie Dough. Shakes taste and look great, but they take forever to get to you. Staff was unpleasant and didn’t seem to have a sense of urgency
Marshall Perry
This place has outdone themselves. The detail to each milkshake is amazing. Everything was delicious. They even had a lactose free option. A little pricey for ice cream but worth the experience.
Michael Megler
The shakes live up to the name: this place is legendary!!! Legendairy Milkshake Bar has a wonderful selection of elaborate milkshakes, all fully-customizable with as many toppings as you want, and the long lines that frequent here are testament to how good the milkshakes are! If you’re in the Nashville area (even 40+ minutes away), this is entirely worth the drive for. Do keep in mind, parking is a little tough considering you’re right in the center of the city, but if that’s the worst thing about this place, I’ll take it! I can’t wait to come back and try more. This place is SO GOOD!
Kayla Claire
Tasty milkshake but way overpriced, and be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes for them to bring it to you if ordering on the weekend. We got the birthday cake one, it was okay but just vanilla with sprinkles. Also came with a chocolate cupcake instead of vanilla like the picture so that was disappointing. Overall I would not visit again
Sara Cathi
Campfire S’mores - Beautiful presentation! So delicious that I felt sick from sugar overload afterwards. They torch the marshmallows to give it a nice toasted taste. The milkshake itself was easy to drink and had sliced almonds in it.
Went on a Thursday night around 8pm and waited 25-30 minutes for our milkshake. They must be understaffed with only 3 employees and the place was 75% full with customers. Honestly the wait was worth it for a first time customer. $18 for a 16oz milkshake. $17 for an 8oz milkshake, which I thought was weird. Not a place I’d go to all the time due to heaviness of the dessert, price and wait time, but overall unique desert place.
Deanna Port
Holy sweet tooth! These milkshakes are cram packed full of sugar. You’ll need a glass of milk to go with your milkshake. They’re also big so personally I would suggest sharing one because we got two and both of us only finished half of each of them (and as I was leaving I saw a table of four cups each still half full) for the price it’s just a waste.
We got the “King” and the cookie dough one. They were tasty but mine was dripping everywhere before I even got out the door and we just didn’t finish them because of how much sugar it was and I love sweets.
For $15 for one its just better to share!
Tiffany Betts
Staff was super sweet and helpful!
My cupcake coffee was delicious but the cupcake didn't taste fresh and it was really dry.
My daughter had the milkshake and she was really pleased. Said it was amazing!
Sam Sachs
I really like the concept of this place. They've got a ton of unique combinations that makes it very difficult to pick just one! We got the cookie dough milkshake which was delicious and too much for two of us to finish. The price was a bit expensive but worth it for a one time visit. We were able to walk right up to the counter and order on a Monday evening and only waited about 15 minutes to get our milkshake.
John Brombosz
I went to this venue and only wanted a scoop of mint chocolate chip in a bowl. I was told at the counter it would Be 20 -45ms wait. Obviously milkshakes are a priority here. They looked great but I preferred lighter dessert. Never purchased anything due to wait.😩 …

I’ve come here several times in the past 2 months, whether it’s to see a friend or to treat my family. I can confidently say that the time and money that I have spent inside here has been worth it every single time.
You see, I’m moving away soon and won’t be able to indulge in the sweet goodness of these shakes as frequently as I do now but I’ll still be able to reminisce on the good times I’ve had.
Seeing my little brother’s face light up every time we ordered a shake with a cookie or brownie on top is truly a one of a kind feeling. It also helps that I’ve had the most adorable server deliver me my shake every time. She is just so sweet and personable and clearly a hard worker, as is evident with the rest of the workers here who don’t stop moving, they’re always doing one task or another.
Yes the shakes may be a bit pricy, but I strongly encourage anyone to bring their family/ significant other / friends here at least once, because you can’t put a price on the memories you’ll make.
Darrel Barton
Yes, we went two different times during a four day stay in Nashville 😉. The staff was on top of things and we got our order promptly. The quality was great and the presentation was amazing. Highly rdcommend!
Joanna Buma-Sterpetti
It was a great stop and Air conditioned. The shakes were tasty and served to us in a timely manner. It's a definite stop while you are in downtown Nashville!
Kadence L
amazing presentation and very delicious milkshakes! the new york cheesecake in the strawberry cheesecake shake is better than any cheesecake i’ve had IN Nyc very rich cheesecake. it does take a little bit for them to come out but it is well worth the wait
Niko O'Hara
The milkshakes are truly incredible! Best we’ve ever had. But be prepared to drop $17 on each one.
Drew Scott
Really good craft milkshakes that are one of a kind. Presentation is a staple at this establishment, as they really take their time crafting each individual milkshake to your specifications. Plan on waiting a while if they are busy. Really cool place to check out, but on the steep end for a milkshake.
Cara Siera
This place is expensive - $18 for a 16 oz signature shake - but so worth it when you need a real treat. They have one #dairyfree shake - so happy to have a milkshake after four years with no dairy! It is the vegan whipped cream that really makes it. I've never had something plant based and so creamy! Also, they dip the rim of the jar in peanut butter and roll it in Oreo crumbs. Yum!
Tip: get the 16 oz. It's only $1 more than the 8 oz.
Parking tip: when there are no events going on, lot R at the base of the pedestrian bridge is free. The bridge comes out on Third Street. Take a right, cross Broadway, go another block or so and and the shop will be on the left.
Danya Wedemier
My daughter has a peanut allergy but wanted the Campfire Smores milkshake. We appreciated being able to swap out the rocky road ice cream for a nut-free option AND they went above and beyond to document her allergy to avoid any possible cross-contamination of her shake. Our shakes were amazingly delicious. Truly a one of a kind experience and treat!
Elijah Lessig
I went to the Legendairy Milkshake Bar to do their Legendairy Gallon Challenge. The shakes were amazing and the crew were too. I had a blast. Special thanks to Cheryl and Lexi for helping set up the challenge and making everything go as smoothly as it did. Will be back again!
Córdova Bleu
GIANT EVERYTHING … you can go small and go home but what would be the point in that? Clearly I love donuts that remind me of shipleys donuts and the legendarily bar is the place to bring back that home feeling. Kid freely . Definitely not watching calories here 😂 create your own or pick from popular choices . You can’t go wrong with whatever you decide on . But regret afterwards 😌
Tyson Brown
Super yummy dessert. Worth the trip and the wait. Recommend the Oreo shake! Fun souvenir mugs available for purchase. Only downside was it was expensive.
G MDNC
Pumpkin coffee was good and so were the milkshakes. The attention to detail they put into each drink is top notch! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Nashville.
Oso Web Team (OsoWebProductions)
DELICIOUS…it’s a must stop. It can be a 40-60m wait however use that time to chit chat. It was a nice atmosphere. Be careful with parking next door the are not associated with that parking lot yet the lot makes it seem as though and the parking costed more than the shakes. Find better parking.
Gina Johnson
Very nice and really great milk shakes. The wait to get a shake made is very long. The workers were nice but not enthusiastic by any means. I believe that contributes to the wait time. But like i said the shakes are very good. Blue bell icecream is used.
Alyssa Godshall
We waited about 30 minutes for our milkshakes, so this isn’t a place you stop at on a time crunch, but wow, the milkshakes were amazing. Well worth the wait in my opinion and would love to come back!
Estefania Victoria
DO NOT BUY THE JAR CAUSE YOU CAN NOT I REPEAT CAN NOT TAKE IT HOME!!!!!!
Its so stupid making us pay for a jar that we cant even take home.
However the shakes were super good and amazing ! I got the oreo milkshake
Dylan Tucker
Them are some dagum good milkshakes, but good goly are they pricey. Thought I would of found a gold nugget in the bottom, but all I found was a spike in blood sugar. I'd definitely go back, but I couldn't afford to make it a regular stop.
Stephanie Clune
Milkshake was great, a perfect way to end the night. I shared one regular milkshake with my partner and it was great for two. I wouldn’t come here on the weekend if you’re in a rush. We were happy to wait for our milkshake but some people may not be willing to wait 30 min for ice cream.
Tom Lazio
Stopped here for shakes after we walked by. It looked delicious. There was a line and it took about 25 minutes to get our order. The wait was worth it . Delicious!!!
Juliana Ramzy
Definitely a unique experience. I am glad I got to try this place but I think once in my life is enough from the intensity of sugar in everything they have. I would recommend getting the Coffee and Doughnut milkshake (shown in picture) if you like coffee and don't want something insanely sweet.
Emma Catherine
really enjoyed it here ! we got the smores and it was super delicious! definitely pricey but i think it’s worth it at least once. we only waited 15 minutes on a saturday night and it was really busy
Heather Apel
This is a great place for epic milkshakes (or just ice cream). They have specialty shakes that are huge - with whole cookies, brownies, donuts, etc on top. They also have slightly smaller kids shakes, which are still big but with a little less extra on top.
Joe Conley
First of all the milkshakes are good. There is no doubt, this is a crowd favorite. However with that being said. The don't publish prices on the web site or even in the store. You have no idea how much anything is till your order is placed. I had been here before and I knew it was expensive, but my son had never been. So we took him. Expect to pay over $20 per person with tip. It can be a long wait also at times. Overall the milkshakes are good and obviously way over the top, but that is what you are paying for. Parking is close by but very expensive. It cost us $20 to park and over $60 for 3 milkshakes, so in the end the cost really took away from the over all experience.
Kyle Lee
Solid ice cream. Please note that the wait times for their shakes are about 40 minutes. Sadly did not have the time for a shake, but will definitely come back
Whitney Mosley
Parking lot/ garage right next door. Pretty good milkshake it's more about the presentation but still good. Definitely glad we went
Daritza Herrera
My best friends and I stopped here while visiting Nashville. The atmosphere was fun. Super cool milkshake presentations! The shakes are big (can be shared between two), but the taste was nothing out of the ordinary. You can also make your own milkshake or just go for scoops of ice cream. Great for groups and kids. There was quite a long line + wait, but staff was friendly with great customer service. Pricey but it was a nice experience.
Tara Wilbur
Fun place to check out!! I would recommend sharing the larger shake with someone else or order the small. It's huge!!! The ice cream was so good. And this is such a fun place to take kids.
Dianca Edwards
Such a fun place! My first time having a fancy milkshake and this place did not disapoint! I was a little surprised by the price though.
Huy D
Touristy spot with very expensive milkshakes. Worth it? Kind of. Amazing presentation and very filling. Took me almost an hour to finish mine. They had one vegan option which was good. $15-20 for a milkshake. Don’t get it to go. Eat it there and keep the glass
Lexi Hardison
Great milkshake, space, atmosphere. It's a bit pricey for an 8 Oz shake with some toppings but for an experience it felt like it was worth it, plus all the options. We did wait in line outside for over 30 minutes, and once inside we waited about the same amount of time. So plan ahead! But it was a great spot!
Jaime Sansom
A place everyone should go to if they are in Nashville! A Delicious indulgence that was worth the walk off Broad. First time I think I ordered something and it actually looked like the picture.
Renuka Kamath
Hot chocolate was nice, but extremely sweet for my liking 😖. The chocolate used was good but maybe not the best.. The store is large and was fortunately not very crowded, but could be cleaner. …
Jason Pfeiffer
Had the Death By Chocolate, the 16oz is big enough for 2 and is worth the sugar buzz. Would highly recommend and would go back
Troy
The best thing about these milkshakes are the pictures you take off them. The milk shake it self was very watered down. I thought this milkshake was going to be very creamy however it was not. Also for the price they charge this should be homemade ice cream and not blue bell.
ryan carse
Awesome Milkshakes!!! Huge too!!! Highly recommend....had "Death by Chocolate" and "Sweet and Salty Cheesecake" YUM!! ;)
Angela Amey
Very nice and spacious place and they are well set up for social distancing. The employees are very polite. There is a small wait due to a lot of customers and the amount of orders they are doing but it is totally worth the wait. If you have kids who are under 10 I would suggest the kids menu because it's not so much and they will be able to finish it. My kids enjoyed their shakes☺️ you are able to purchase the jars for your shake for $5.99 for a souvenir or you can just purchase and still have the jar, you just will not be able to take it with you. They also have to go cups as well. During the summer hot months this is definitely a go to place to cool down.
Tracy Edingfield Dunn
Everything Peanut Butter was no joke! Delicious, delicious, delicious! I had strawberry ice cream and it was yummy! Will definitely visit again. So much fun seeing quality and creativity combined.
Maddy A
Yum! They make some THICK milkshakes. Pretty dang delicious but some of the toppings were not good (just a lot of dry cookie dough and chocolate chips on mine). Also the icecream melted very quickly and it took us over 20 minutes to be let in and order. They are extremely cool looking and photogenic so it was overall a fun experience.
Kristen Nae nae
Our strawberry cheese cake milk shake had a whole slice of cheese on it. It was fabulous, it tasted amazing to. My daughter cotton candy ice cream cake cone completely got ate and she's tiny and dose not finish push puts so hers was super yummy as well. We got some cute pics at the photo booth and had an amazing experience oderering with sweet people. We will be going back for the king shake. Elvis inspired ofcoase.
Lisa Crawford
The best place to spoil your children or grandchildren! The milkshakes are crazy good, but like anything else, they're pricey. But so worth it! We had the Shake It Up Buttercup shake and our granddaughter had the mint chocolate chip. Not a drop left.
Kristin C
This place was great! Cheryl, the manager, was such a blast and made our experience even better. The shakes are amazing and there are so many options. If your wanting a delicious milkshake this is the place to go.
Dave Barrett
Downtown Nashville place to get your ice cream fix! As does everywhere in downtown there will be a line but it moved fast and hostess was awesome at accommodating everyone as quickly as possible. The selections are all amazing and will definitely tempt your taste buds, I went with the banana pudding milkshake. Emptied the jar but definitely full. Watching the creations come from the kitchen is a treat in its own right. Parking is right next door if you wonder about that.
Cassidy Fonger
Talk about a killer milkshake! It tastes as good as it looks! There was a suuuper long wait but the place was packed for a reason. We wished we could have come a couple more times before we had to leave Nashville. I had to get a souvenir cup to take home with me!
Jonathan Francis
The shakes were great and we definitely overindulged. Prepare to lighten your wallet. They're not cheap.
Alex Flores
This is a MUST do. So good and so unique. However, when you go makes a big difference. Our most recent visit took 5 minutes but last time we were in it was almost a 2.5 hour wait for a shake. So very hit or miss but so worth it
Dan Cooper
Reason for this low of a rating was the entire experience, first no free parking 8$ an hour(times 2) we were #24 in the line outside when we showed up. Whole deal cost 38$ for one shake and two scoops of ice-cream. Ice cream was good for bluebell. Toppings were put together with care and were delicious. Presentation was first class.
Nick Bundy
Absolutely wonderful, and they were slammed on a Tuesday night. Dairy free option was amazing and it's what i have pictured. Go, enjoy, and make sure you tip good. They are working they're tails off.
Desiree Miklus
It's a bit pricey in my opinion, but definitely delicious.
evrwndr81
My picture says it all. The shakes they make here are spectacular. You are definitely paying for the presentation and these things look like they were pulled right out of the pictures on the wall.
Price is steep but worth the splurge especially if on vacation.
We liked it so much we went two days in a row.
This is a MUST if you are visiting Nashville.
RVingAcross AmericaBlog
I have been traveling across country for over 2 years and had tons of sweets and I can definitely say that this is by far one of the best milkshakes I have had from taste down to the appearance. This is a must stop if your in the area hands down! Wish they had a decal I’d be honored to advertise for them on my RV so y’all stop here and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere & kind workers. 👍
Felicia Williams
We asked for the kids shake which was 13.95 . I asked .. could I get any combo for the kids price and she said yes. She rang me up and my total was 17.95. so I thought I bought the glass with it. Well I didn't.. she had no Idea what she was talking about but I guess that's the status quo these days. I was charged a regular price for a child size and she was not happy that I even dare to ask a question
savita c
I would like to start this review by saying that I had exceptionally high expectations from this place. It was really hyped up. And we "tried" going there twice (during the same day) but because of the crowd and long lines, we had to give up - we had other things planned for the day.
Later in the evening we came for a third time and waited in the line outside the place (they were at capacity and didn't let anyone in because of that) for about 40 minutes and waited inside the place (after placing our order) for 1 hour... only to get a not so legendary milkshake. It was okay. No offense, but it was an ordinary milkshake that we could easily make at home.
The hype was all about how they make their milkshakes very fancy looking - loaded with their toppings, whipped cream and full sized brownies/cookies/donuts etc.
It looked really really cool. But I still don't think it was worth the hype and the wait.
Elijah McCain
I appreciate the nice staff, lines were long but the wait time was surprisingly short! Our milkshakes came out just like the pictures and tastes phenomenal. Would come back again. Definitely Legendairy.
g gerl
Definitely Legen...Dairy. Epic milkshakes for sure. But is a better idea to split with someone
Nick Balsley
Deliciously fun milk shakes. We had to wait about 30 minutes to order and an hour for our shakes. But overall worth it.
Pamela Rudd
The milkshake was great. $16 for small $20 for a large. Not worth the money really for me. Okay, I had the smores. They put mostly small marshmallows than ice cream not to mention the 2 really big ones that ur going to mistake for more ice cream til u get it on ur spoon or in ur mouth. 🤣 If marshmallows is ur things you'll love it. It's worth experiencing at least once. Oh yeah, 1 thing I noticed was all the guys were sitting while the ladies ate the ice cream, too cute 😍 go often if he's buying. 😀
Greg Andrews
Great shakes, great hot chocolate, not so great price. The Hot Chocolate Chip was tasty and good. Could have been much better with a fresh cookie. The S'mores shake was really good and rich. We have been to many of the boutique style shake/smoothie/cookie/dessert places in many cities that we travel to, as with all of them, if you consider the basic frozen marble, mix-in place expensive... then $10+ each is gonna be a kick to the frozen teeth.
Birjis Mukardamwala
Located in the heart of downtown, the prices definitely reflect that. The inside is bright and popping. What I did like is that contrary to its appearance the milkshake we got was not wildly sweet. It is, however, heavy and one shake can be easily shared by two people.
If nothing else the creations will draw many oohs and aahs from your instagram followers.
They stop serving the orders in Mason Jars during the last 30 minutes, so definitely plan on getting there early on if a picture is what you are after.
Yvette
The shake was great but the lady taking our order was very rude and unfriendly; seemed miserable. They were out of all dairy free options. Every table was dirty and filled with trash and was a sticky mess.
Nathan Ozbirn
Ok, so I didn't give 5 stars, but please understand how these ratings work. Five stars means you loved it, four stars mean you liked it, three stars means it's okay, two stars means you disklike, and 1 star means you hated it. So I did like it, so that is good. The 3 milkshakes we got were good, but I have to put this place at a 3 or 4 overall which is why I went with the 3. Presentation of milkshakes were spot on, as was flavor. However, there has to be a better way to serve their patrons. We waited an hour in line, and then an hour after our order on the first of three milkshakes. One thought I had would be to maybe try and sit the guests and then take orders by the table, or get more equipment to service the orders that are getting placed. Yes it's a good experience and cool place. But there were a lot of people in there like ourselves for the first time, and 2 hours for a milkshake isn't going to pan out very often. I would go back, only if the line was short.
Matt Rowland
Incredible presentation. It really is a work of art. Unfortunately, there is way too much of an emphasis on the toppings and add-ons, not enough on the actual ice cream. Way too rich for me, sugar overload. Pricey, plus 1 large is plenty for 2 people.
Michele McHugh
These milkshakes were works of art. Absolutely beautiful and delicious!!!
Jeff Gardner
The milkshakes were decadent and almost over-indulgent... but they were so very tasty. We had them late night on our way back to the hotel and it was a perfect end to a great day. Thank you.
Tara Allen 51
Wonderful milkshake spot where you can order off the menu or create your own. There are vegan and gluten-free options! You can choose from the amazing creations that change often, or you can create your own masterpiece! The location is downtown Nashville, and there are plenty of things to do nearby. These milkshakes are definitely Instagram worthy! Lol 😆 Can't eat a milkshake this large? Try a kid's size Mason jar or ask for an extra spoon and bowl to share with a friend.
Elizabeth DB
These milkshakes were well worth the wait and the price. You get what you pay for and the quality was definitely there. You were able to order off their menu or build your own. They staff were all very friendly and worked efficiently. They handled the crowd very well- and the line was out the door!
If I was going to change anything, I would not let people take tables until after they’ve ordered their milkshakes. People would walk in in groups, and have someone reserve a table when they were in the back of the line. It seemed unfair to people who either ordered or had milkshakes and no where to sit.
Would definitely recommend to anyone though!
Joua Nelson
We came here on a Friday afternoon. We thought it was going to be packed, based on the reviews. But honestly, we had one indecisive customer in front of us and that was it. The shakes were AMAZING!!! I just wish my boyfriend and I had the same taste, so that we could share one shake. Because honestly, you can really share one shake between two people. But it was good to try two different shakes. Such a great experience and the shake was so good!! I highly recommend this place if you plan to visit Nashville!
Kristin Stahl
Pricey for 8oz but delicious! We had a short wait and was able to sit away from others as we had our 9 month old baby with us, who enjoyed some ice cream as well. Would recommend if you want to try some over the top ice cream.
Robert Warren
We visited here back in September and although the prices are high it's a novelty kind of thing so I expected that, if you want a plain 3 dollar shake you should go to McDonald's or something. I appreciated the fact that they had a dairy free option for the lactose intolerant people. The peanut butter and marshmallow shake I had was delicious and I did eat everything that came on the shake. My two primary issues are the confusing way you have to order and if all of the grease pens are being used you have to wait. The other issue I had is that the employees, to me, didn't seem very friendly. They just didn't seem to be very happy. No matter what you do, you should always give your best and be friendly. We won't make it a regular habit but we will definitely be going back.
Wesley Peterson
The service for the kind of volume they do is relatively quick. I'm from Vancouver Washington and in Portland Oregon we have a place called Salt and Straw and this gave me the same vibes. The variety of items they had was amazing. Even to take it to go they jazz up the cup. This place is a must try.

Wide open, bright shop with some modern alternative playing over speakers. Smelled of dairy deliciousness
Odd location for menus in a hallway right of the counter. Chalkboard with special of the day.
Young lady at cashier station had a smile and was pleasant to deal with.
Ordered and was given number placard to place on table.
Delivered fairly quick.
Here’s the breakdown:
Fresh ingredients +1 star, amazing visual presentation +1 star, nice vibe - kind of a cross between an old time ice cream parlor and a chain coffee shop +1 star, really delicious ice cream and toppings +1 star, making me food dance in my chair +1 star; lots of tables not cleared/some staff with zero smiles, kind of grumpy/PRICY -1 star for a rating of 4 Stars.
I’d go back on a date night or if family in town but way expensive for a regular visit. If you’re in town or have never been, treat yourself - it is worth it.
I’ll always think of Vincent Vega “It’s a shake, milk and ice cream. You don’t put bourbon in it or nothin?” whenever I come here.
But it was a pretty good milkshake.
James “Dreamer11”
This is a touristy type place. But that’s the point. The staff. Extremely friendly and nice. And they answered all my questions. To me it’s a little pricy. But the milkshakes were thick. They tasted great. Whip cream was quality. I got a souvenir coffee cup.
Jodi Chriswisser
Loved this place. We went to celebrate our adoption anniversary with our 4 & 7 yr olds. Absolutely worth every penny for the smiles, excitement and laughter that it brought to there faces. Priceless. The girls working were so wonderful even replacing a lollipop for the 4yr old that was dropped. I couldn't thank them enough.
JD Yeh
Pricey but absolutely gorgeous milkshakes. One shake has enough sugar for 3 people. Definitely would recommend going with friends, especially from out of town. They use Blue Bell ice cream for the base , and you can customize your own if you don’t like the pictures on the wall.

My husband and I, along with two friends stopped by Legendairy while we were in Nashville for a night. We were in our hotel when we decided we were all craving something sweet. After searching online for a minute, we discovered Legendairy. It was a Friday evening and there was quite a few people when we arrived. Regardless of how busy they were, the staff was still quick and friendly! The prices are a little high, but worth it when you think about how much goes into one Milkshake. The presentation was striking and the taste was delightful! The Milkshakes are extremely filling, I was glad we walked back to the hotel - definitely needed to burn a few calories.
Yoali Sandoval
definitely delicious and options for all tastes and flavors!!
Connie McVicker (aka The Traveling Coconut)
Words cannot say how delicious. Don't dare go for just a treat or dessert - it's like a meal! So many tables left with their glasses half full and not completed. It's a LOT to devour!
Mary Grace Gauerke
Wanted to do a fun thing with my mopey teens so I decided to take them to Legendairy Milkshake Bar. We went and the teens were all smiles! These milkshakes are little culinary dairy works of art! Are they cheap “no”...$12.99 but, it was super tasty and it was “an experience”. My teens are still talking about it and it was a nice place for family time.
Jon O
I would give them 5 stars just for presentation, everything looks fantastic. Once you pay for it (very expensive) and taste it, you'll understand the place is a solid 3 stars. It has ice cream, but nothing spectacular as far as flavors and texture. While you are there and look around at all the half full shakes left over, you'll know why. It wasn't bad, but wasn't good enough to finish. I didn't try the edible cookie dough, which sounded and looked great.
derekjaye
Extremely long wait but delicious milkshakes.
Preeti
Tried out this place after reading the rave reviews by visitors & recommendations by the locals. It's smack dab in the middle of downtown. Their milkshakes are undoubtedly one of the best in town. They are thick, creamy and delicious. They're pricey; on an average expect to shell out $15 for a milkshake. Would expect better quality ice cream than Blue Bells for the price they're charging. Also there's no free parking; it's paid on the street. Staff is pretty courteous. Overall, it is definitely worth giving a try.
Pro tip:- One milkshake is huge enough to be shared b/w 2 people.
Meraj Ahmed
Decent milkshakes made with Blue Bell ice cream. A bit pricey though ($14). They have a lot of ingredients to choose from to build your own. A nice novelty treat, but not someplace I'd come to often unless they were a little cheaper.
Beautiful Butterflies
It's a little pricey for each shake, but so worth it! I also bought a mini souvenir cup and it was only $6. Definitely worth the wait for a table and for our delicious shakes. 😋 …
Erin Burdette
These shakes were extraordinary and delicious!! Mine had a full slice of cheesecake in it with caramel, fudge, peanuts and potato chips!! It was great, but I felt like it had more toppings than ice cream... maybe if I would have had time to eat it there rather than take it to-go it would have been more balanced because I think then they put the cheesecake on top instead of in it. The other reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the guy at the cash register could have been nicer... he was making fun of my friend which we did not appreciate... especially after having just spent over $80 in there! Keep in mind this place is not cheap... so may not be the best place to bring a large family. The kids shakes were even $10 each. I would definitely go back and eat there at the location myself my next time in Nashville.
Denetria Jamison
Delicious had the birthday cake shake come with a whole cupcake on top. And 2 scoops of brides cake in a cup. Will be back as often as I can.
Sandy Moen
It is a one time stop for us, but it was a special treat. Way more expensive than we had expected. Tasty, but not gonna be paying that much again. We got 2 milkshakes for $30. I think if they included the mason jar it would have made it worth it. Certainly creative designs, and friendly service.
Jennifer Parton
Amazing! Expect a sugar rush! Great service.
Deborah J
Like a crazy lady, we went on a weekend. The line, as always, was out the door. We waited our hour for our overpriced milkshakes. My husband didn’t want “all the frills”. He ordered just a plain shake & it still cost the same $12!!! The shakes were ok but you’re really paying for the experience.
Brittany
Super great place with delicious ice cream concoctions in jars with beautiful edible ornamentals on top!! I had the cookie dough one and the unicorn, and I have tried the banana split and the coffee and donuts ones as well. Really cute atmosphere and great staff!
Scott Crews
Great place with many options best part being you can choose your milkshake and toppings and they make the masterpiece. Did wait almost an hour for our shakes but it was worth it.
Dan Wilson
Pretty much what I expected. Unique, in it's own way. But once you get over the glamour of the presentation you quickly start to ask was it really worth the $ 15.00 dollars you just spent for a shake? Nothing outstanding when it comes to taste. Not saying it was awful. In fact it was good. But McDonalds shakes are good and not a third of the cost.
Jae D.
This place is awesome! Friendly service, great ice cream and coffee. I had the hot chocolate chip and my girls had ice cream. Great place to go.
Michael Schaub
I mean, just look at the photo. Giving this a 4 because, operationally, things were below average. 10 employees behind the counter, and no one bussing tables. I watched every person (including myself) complete their order, then go sit at a table with dirty dishes all over it. Some even got served their order and had to eat around empty glasses from the previous customer. Management needs to do better.
Monty McMinn
This place it worth the wait! If you come here you’ve got to try one of their specialty milkshakes. If you’re going to wait. Make the wait worth it by ordering one!
Mike Kametz
Definitely a cool spot for a novelty milkshake. There was a pretty long line as the place is obviously popular. The ordering system is very easy and the wait once we ordered was not long at all. The milkshake looked awesome and tasted great but my only gripe was that the cup was only about half full with milkshake underneath the decorations. At that price point I figured I'd get more shake. Probably would go back if we were bringing someone new but most likely will go get a shake where I am getting more for my money.
TODD JONES
They were super busy, and that was understandable, and we had to pause our order, and come back to get it later. The staff was super accommodating, and once the manager(I assume) realized how busy they were, and how much waiting was being done, she passed out free jars to every customer. Might not seem like much, but those glasses weren't free(for them), and the gesture was very appreciated, if you can understand the bigger picture. Not only did each table get glasses, but every person, at every table got one.
YLN
The milkshake was good but it was very sweet and overwhelming. Still good though. Too much for 1 person! Try sharing! :)
I came from chicago and there are places here with these crazy milkshakes but a lot more enjoyable.
Elena Mejias
Milkshake was worth the money not worth the wait. 1hour and 30mins and that’s all they serve is kinda ridiculous. I felt bad because people that came in that just wanted a scoop of ice cream they were telling them an hour and 30 mins too!
Brittany reaves
I had my hopes pretty high for this place because I love milkshakes but it kinda fell flat. The milkshakes were pretty but were super thin. We got one of the cookies and cream milkshakes but could barely taste the cookies. I got the chocolate one with the brownie and the brownie was really good but the milkshake was just okay.
Dallas S.
I'm a first timer an I absolutely 💯 Love this place it has a very laid back environment an the shakes are absolutely amazing thank you an I definitely recommend to anyone that goes to Nashville Tennessee make it a must stop an try!!!
Robert L Hunziker Jr
If you want a fancy looking shake and will pay $15 for one, this is the place. I had a banana split shake. It came with a whole banana but a $5 DQ blizzard tastes better.
eric s
We saw Blue Bell Ice Cream was being used and make shakes and were impressed with the creative shake ideas. Our experience may have been an off-day anomaly but given the price and wait, the delivered product was highly underwhelming. It looked good but the actual shake was a mess of jumbled textures and not creamy at all. It tasted like a soft ice chucks loosely blended with a single scoop of ice cream and whipped cream to cover it all. The effect was watery (as opposed to creamy) and wound up giving the impression that it wasn't much of a shake or any other particular dessert in their prime.
Again, there may have been an equipment malfunction or momentary employee snafu but despite high hopes, quality ice cream, and amazing presentation, the actual taste and satisfaction level fell far short.
MediciATL
VEGAN MILKSHAKES!!! My fiancé and I stopped by 30 minutes before closing and the customer service was awesome! Though they were understaffed, Cody properly communicated that there would be a little wait. To our surprise, the team exceeded expectations by getting our order out efficiently. Shake was great and loaded! To say the least, the experience was nothing short of “Legendairy”! Will definitely be back whenever we’re in Nashville!
Jordan Williams
Such an awesome experience! Milkshakes were delicious. Got an entire brownie in mine. Would definitely bring others here.
Sherri C
OMG. I dont know if I have words or how or where to start this review. I have never seen anything like it. So unique, so good, so over the top fun. You'll need to add a few extra reps to your workout to work this off later but ya gotta treat yourself. The staff creates it like a work of art they are proud of and they should be. Create your own concoction or select one of their genius crazy minded options. If this review was helpful please like it. Thank you.
S Fradl
Very creative milkshakes. Only wish they made a mini size as the one size was still alot for me to consume which resulted in some getting wasted. Line was still worth it and moves relatively fast.
Michelle Goss
This place is the best if you're looking for something different. A little expensive, but the first-time experience was awesome. Whatever your flavor or craving is, Legendairy Milkshake will cover it. It's located downtown and has plenty of seating for large crowds. I tried the banana split milkshake and it was so good. Too much for one person, make sure you take a friend to share it with!
Sebastian Buisson
I had such a great time here. The atmosphere, the service, and the product were all amazing. This will be an awesome addition to the Nashville experience. It caters to your sweet tooth and keeps the children happy when they get their own specialty milk shake. The cookie dough milkshake was impressive. We also got a the magic unicorn milkshake for the little one. The attention to detail on the presentation is something to marvel at. It truly sells the idea that you eat your food with your eyes before you taste it. I will be coming back for sure. Thank you!
Sarah Lunn
I will start with saying that the milkshake was good and a fun thing to eat. What was not fun, was the wait. We walked in and it was a 45 minute posted wait time. Since we had a little extra time, we decided 45 minutes wasn’t too bad. However, our actual wait time was 2 hours, which we did not have the time to wait for and it made us late for our plans after this. You have to run for a table if you see someone getting up, which is a mad house in a packed storefront. The three stars is for the friendliness of the staff we encountered, the quality and taste of the milkshake and the extensive menu. Since all of the employees are all hands on deck making the milkshakes, the bathroom was not in the best condition. They ran out of toilet paper about 15 minutes into our 2 hour stay and didn’t replace it until right before we left. If you’ve got two hours to waste sitting in uncomfy chairs and love milkshakes, this might be the place for you.
Chris Lindsey
My daughter and I came here for our Father's Day outing on Saturday. This was our first time visiting. Expect a long line at least based on our experience. The place was very busy. My daughter made her milkshake. I got The Ultimate Dad. Mine was Coffee and Buttered Pecan Ice Cream, Chocolate Icing Rim, Bacon Pieces, Whipped Cream, Maple and Chocolate Syrup, Potato Chips, and Beef Jerky. They both were good. This place is a treat. $14 for these milkshakes and worth a special treat. I'd bring my kids back for a special occasion.
Damian Brooker
Line was short
Wait was long
It was however deliciously great sugar fix.
Shibi BP
I would rate it as 4 ! They have got really good stuffs.. You can also mix and match according to your taste.. We tried the Death by chocolate shake and was mind blowing 😘 The quantity is great.. Good enough for 2 people, I would say..
The only down part was the waiting time.. They lmost took 10 to 15 mins to serve our shake which killed our excitement..
Morgan Stefanik
The line was extremely long and I know why. The milkshake was amazing! The servers were really polite and when we got to the register they made sure to let us know they're was a 60-70 minute wait until we would see our shakes, they also had signs posted. They did an amazing job with the milkshake. It was the first milkshake I ate in a year.
Tommi
I went in the middle of the day so the line was short (normally its pretty long), and the employees were nice, the building spacious....but the milkshake was SO GOOD!!! It was delicious and the cherry on top was really a cheesecake. Will definitely be back.
Josie B
I loved this place. I have a special place in my heart for cotton candy flavored things and the majestic unicorn shake was perfect. Yes the shakes are $13.99 but when they look and taste this good you really can justify the splurge (and the sugar coma).
Green Angel
The drink so delicious. Waiting about 20 mins to get our order delivered to our table.
David Haubert
Sweet baby Jesus if you are in Nashville you must stop off at the Legendary Milkshake Bar. It's an experience to say the least. There is plenty of seating but give yourself a little extra time. I promise it will be well worth the wait.
Rich Lazar
Pretty cool place in Nashville to have some treats. They don't make their own ice cream but it is a high quality one. The portion sizes are good but the price is pretty expensive, especially for Nashville.
Katie Lauver
Worth the wait friends! They quoted us 80 minutes, but it was closer to 45. Seems like a lot for a milkshake, but I promise it's worth it. This one in particular is a good balance of sweet and salty.
Jennifer Busalacchi
Quite frankly, A little over priced for the product. They look nice but the flavor wasn't out of this world. We left after eating half. They didn't have hot fudge or malt powder so we were a little disappointed
Tim Saunders
Excellent ice cream..get there early early otherwise a huge line!! A little pricey but they are amazin!!
Lucas Rempert
We got one of their cheesecake MS...we asked for some PB. There was no PB and it felt like more than a thirty min wait. We submit the one shake and is was more than enough 16ozs for just under 20
Linh Clark
Supper good and fun ice cream place to go when visiting Nashville. Go check them out.
Abby T
Delicious milkshake, I created my own & was pleased with the amount of options & creativity I could put into it. Definitely pricey though, maybe even a little over priced. Cute place though & a good place for a special occasion or rare treat.
Geoff Vera
Atmosphere - walls were dirty and lacked decorations. Felt like I was eating milkshake in someone’s basement.
Presentation - looked fantastic very instagram-able
Food - milkshakes aren’t thick like you would think.
Server - there is not a traditional server here. You order and you sit down with your number. no water stations , served my my milkshake with a dirty spoon
Adam Sznyitar
Thick and creamy milkshakes. Wife had the strawberry cheesecake milkshake and I had "The King." Strawberry cheesecake is pretty self explanatory but The King includes a whole banana, peanut butter, peanut pieces, reese's pieces, whipped cream, and bacon. Good flavor for both. When we first walked in most tables were full which was a good sign for their milkshakes. You fill out a paper with your name and what shake you would like, whether you would like a signature shake like we choose or to create your own, the choice is yours. Then you proceed to pay and get your table number. After that, you just have to have a little patience. We waited I believe 20 minutes for our shake but, as I said, they had almost a full house. So it's understandable. Definitely will be back to try some more of their signature shakes.
Jordan Maust
Milkshakes of dreams. SUPER large, impossible to finish on your own, but too novel to skip.
Ordering system was easy. Can customize any part of the shake.
Only downside is it is pricey. However, I feel that you are paying for the milkshake and the novelty, so makes sense.
christopher hake
Great experience, very expensive. Kinda disappointed they they dont make their own ice cream. I could understand the price if it was home made, but overall we enjoyed the experience. Rasted GREAT!. ..just not excited about a 70 dollar tab for 3 of us. 2 shakes, 3 water bottles and a waffle cone with 2 scoops...so yeah nice place to check out once...
Olivia Faulkner
Fantastic! They were understaffed the day we visited but handled it gracefully. The hot chocolate was so smooth, and the milkshakes so creamy. I can't wait for the next time we're back in Nashville and can come get more!
bil margle
Best shakes I ever had. They are big but not huge, so you can find them and most people will feel full. The shakes are a bit pricey but not crazy ($14 + tax). You can custom make your own creation or choose from their menu. I had both the cookies and cream (Oreo) and rolling in the cookie dough (which is what it sounds like). Both were amazing. You can tell the ice cream is very fresh and they don't skimp on the toppings.
Bree Judd
Yes yes yesss!! This is the best I’ve cream around yummy tasty! I bought a 17oz mason jar to take home worth it. Design of the milkshake are all different
Candice Taylor
The ice cream is good. They use Bluebell brand ice cream. My fave specialty drinks are sweet and salty combos. The jars are 16oz. and are $15+ after tax. You are paying for the instagramablility.
They really are presented in a picturesque way. There also can be a wait, so brace yourself if there's a line.
Anshuman Bhatia
Well, you can’t go wrong here. Utterly sinful and delicious milkshakes! They are so good. I took one star off as at 14 bucks a pop that’s pretty pricey! If your in the mood for an over the top treat, here if your place!
Joseph Verdi
Found online and all the reviews are correct!! Staff did an excellent job with customer service, it was busy and before we ordered they let us know that it would be 15-20 minutes to make our shakes and we were very happy to know ahead of time.
Nick Giambalvo
Simply AMAZING!!! They were pact the couple times I went but the milkshakes were amazing, I do wish they had a few more options for milkshakes but the selection they have is simple delightful
Noah Burke
Ridiculously over the top milkshakes! Definitely best to split or share. Great for kids who will be amazed by these over the top desserts. Also pay attention to the cup sizes as the ‘small’ is actually pretty big!
Tommy Jones
Amazing milkshakes and great service. It's a bit pricey but not something you'd do everyday so it's worth it. We were on a staycation.
Goodtanaba Moon
The icecream is like a bluebell brand. It isn't homemade. Each shake most certainly looks pretty, but it tastes like you could make it at home for much cheaper. You're pretty much paying for the pretty factor.
However, if you like options, you can pick any icecream with any toppings plus some sort of major desert like a cheesecake or cookie on top. Then you'll probably enjoy your create your own shake.
martin potter
Loved our milkshakes. Bought the keepsake Mason jars. This made the total cost a little pricey but the shakes were worth it.
Brittanie Coleman
Cool to try one time but probably won't go back. Crazy crowded and mediocre shake. I got the cookie dough shake and its was ok. The cookie on top wasn't super fresh. Be prepared to wait awhile in line Plus about 20 minutes after you order.
Charles Changuin
Must come visit!!! JASON was a great individual to work with even under all the pressure!! Very happy coming from NY!! 1 hour wait but we’ll worth it!!
All that’s missing is a beach view!!
Kourtney Warren
Stopped for a late night snack, pictured is the Campfire S’mores & Shake It Up - Buttercup. Incase you’re wondering, they do standard milkshakes as well. The milkshakes & presentation were top notch.
Chadwick
This place truly lives up to the name. Helpful staff can guide your decision making of their rather large menu. Everything we tried was incredible! Will definitely be back soon!
katherine gregory
This place was so fun! The s’mores shake was sooo worth it, 10/10 recommend everyone to come try there favorite flavor. I will be back one day with friends & family! I can’t wait to try something else from here
Tiffany McClure
Expect to wait but I promise it's well worth the wait. We bought cute tees and the milkshakes were over the top amazing!
LarryB
This is a place for a one of a kind milkshake. Never even see anything like these before and so good!
Nikki Fanning
Legendairy is correct. Beyond delicious milkshakes. Flavors for everyone. A but on the expensive side when you think milksahke, but these are gourmet and well done.
Ken
Pricey, but very good shakes! Wait time was not bad considering the amount of customers in the place. Seemed very clean and all of the staff seemed to constantly be in motion, delivering a shake or making one. Definitely worth a stop!
Jason Canonigo
Had the rolling in the cookie dough milkshake and two scoops (butter pecan & banana pudding). All tasted good. A bit on the icy side (ie not as creamy). Definitely worth going though.
Bin Diaz
There is nothing wrong with the place did loved but somehow did got short in many things. Let me start by saying how much I love ice cream and how cozy the place felt but in this particular case I felt like the ice cream was a bit too much for me. Felt overwhelmed by all these toping added on. I got the classic banana split, it was good to a point but after the 3rth bite it was too much for me: peanut, strawberry, strawberry syrup, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream, those colorful little candies to top it off. Not to mentioned on how much you're spending (for the 8oz, 13.99 and for the 12oz, 14.99) you don't get to take home the cup you're being served on. Loved it yes, coming back... Nope
Rick Farmer
Yummy specialty milkshakes. You can do one of their creations or create your own. Can also get ice cream and other treats. Line can get long.
Pair8 TravelTaste
Legendairy embraces Nashville’s comfort food tradition in milkshake form! We finally got around to indulging in one of these extravagant milkshakes on our last cheat day and now that our sugar high has worn off, we are capable of sharing our experience! Legendairy is located downtown Nashville, just a short walk from broadway, making it a perfect dessert stop for visitors. The menu consists of a variety house recipes, but you have the option of creating your own masterpiece. They also have a few kid’s options on a smaller scale. Expect to wait at least 30 minutes after you place your order, as they are handmade pieces of food art! Legendairy places an emphasis on presentation! This is definitely the place to go if you are looking for a photo op with a beautiful dessert. It isn’t the place to go if you are looking for a bargain milkshake. Milkshakes are priced around $13. If you are judging on taste alone, you can find other comparable milkshakes in Nashville at a cheaper price point (lacking in presentation). Legendairy creates an experience and dessert that will make your eyes light up and put a smile on your face. With that in mind, Legendairy is a must-try dessert stop in Nashville!
Samantha Cummings
We got the sweet and salty cheesecake shake. It was delicious!!! I shared it with my husband and it was so large we couldn't finish it together. Very good though! Friendly staff and very nice clean building.
Dawn Michaud
Omg! The best milkshakes and ice cream! Kind of confusing on how to order, but the service was very good! Huge portions!! No parking
Common Man Eats
If your in Nashville you definitely need to stop in to Legendairy Milkshake Bar and try their shakes. They are game changers. I tried the cotton candy and I felt like I was 4 years old. So amazing.
Giovanna Iaffaldano
We got a s’mores milkshake, it was sadly more visually pleasing than it tasted. It was good, but just an expensive traditional milkshake. The restaurant has a cute 50’s feel to it.
Tyler Johnson
We ordered 4 adult sized milkshakes and waited less than 10 minutes for them! I enjoyed the Death by Chocolate shake. This was our first experience with milkshakes of this magnitude and it was definitely worth it!
Jenifer Simpson
We had the second half of my kid's birthday party here. Staff were awesome. Milkshakes were huge. Really fun experience. Only hesitate in the 5th star because the shakes were not as great as I would expect for the price. If you want an experience, this is it. If you want a really good shake, you can get a better one elsewhere.
Lexiee Gremling
I had a lot of people tell me that I needed to stop into Legendairy when I went to Nashville. With a line out the door I knew this place was going to be good! They exceeded all expectations and then some! Such a fun atmosphere and experience, I will definitely be back!!
Nico la
Ordering was easy once we located the sheets where we could choose what we wanted. It did not take that long for is to receive our order and they executed it perfectly. Each of the components was delicious and I definitely couldn't finish it. I totally recommend this place, when your looking for a cool sweet treat.
Gu Lin
I went there on Thursday night. There are three other customers. The menu is quite informative and it takes me 10 minutes to decide which one to order. My biggest concern is that I cannot finish the entire milkshake, so it will be a waste. When the other three customers left, they all still have half of their jars full. Later, I know my concern is a realistic one.
Waited for 5-6 minutes to get my milkshake. It’s a quite large one. It’s tasty on the first sip, but then I realize it’s too sweet. I ended up wasting half of it, as expected.
Basically, I would say the business owner does spend time and thoughts in designing the menu; milkshake’s presentation is beautiful; taste is generally delicious. If the proportion and price could be halved, and less sugar could be used, the entire experience would be wonderful. It’s a good experience at this moment though.
Dan Smitley
A great place with a surprising amount of vegan options. Bring your sweet tooth because this place isn't joking around!
Grace Fleming
Expensive, but definitely delicious. Don't go if your in a rush, as it's definitely a long wait time, but so worth it! You can tell they take time on each and every shake, which means they do get backed up with alot of customers waiting, but once you get it, you totally forget about the wait! They were SO good! Highly recommend the Cookie Dough! (And you should definitely splurge to get to keep your jar!)
KAREN WILLIAMS
The scoop portions are huge my kids got two scoops each and could finish it with all the topping.
It's all Blue Bell ice cream and it's a cool experience not something I would do often but definitely a must try.
Katie Fritchman
Amazing milkshakes!!! I wish I could've tried them all. My literal only complaint is that I wish they were open later so I could've gone last time before we left for home. Definitely would come back just for another shake!
mary parham
Pricey and Parking….
$16-$17 per milkshake ( if you like bells and whistles and sugar) and parking was $35 for 24 minutes… the location is perfect for Tourist, but as a local who would probably visit more without the downtown hustle and bustle…. One plus is they take almost all forms of payment including cash app…$55 for 3 16oz milkshakes 😩
Philip Topper
Amazing! Make sure to have plenty of room, otherwise you’ll be able to do the 8 oz.
Rachael Ross
Man oh man! This was legendary! It is a LONG wait but so worth it- an hour! I had the Unicorn rainbow shake, and they even let me substitute the flavor of ice cream. Awesome and so worth every last drop. Yum!!
Erik Harris
Very generous portions, but the ice cream was a little grainy due to ice crystals. That's perhaps due to a very steady stream of customers and the opening and closing of the freezers. They use a name brand ice cream, so the flavors are what you expect, but I would think that paying extra for peanut butter sauce as a topping that it would be more generous than an artistic drizzle. They are following COVID protocols, which was greatly appreciated, but not all customers were being as mindfully considerate of the COVID protocols, but I presume that was likely due to majority being out-of-town visitors to Nashville based on the group sizes and all the pictures and selfies being taken in front of the lighted signs in the restaurant.
Jennifer Cboski
A little pricey but a great place for a unique milkshake!
Angela Schoger
Love this place! Great find on out little trip in Tennesee. It was very busy, but worth the wait. I ordered a single scoop cone to go and just note the portions are big! I couldnt believe how big it was! I ordered cookie dough with reeces pieces and oreos!! Good stuff. A must stop for any shake or ice cream lover!
Joshua Mendez
Great for our kids to experience, and the presentation is amazing. 10/10 on presentatuon. Unfortunately, the flavor of all 4 shakes we had was not on par with price and presentation. Recommended atleast 1 visit for the experience, but the are other great shake places around.
Lorie Joy
We got extremely lucky and were able to just walk right in and order. The staff was friendly and the shakes were beautiful and Delicious!

Too much hype.
Severely overpriced for what you get, $12.99 for a mason jar with soft ice cream, and some toppings.
Tasted good, enjoyed the atmosphere, but not a do over for me.
C White
We went during the week and there was no wait. There was a nice variety available and a chance to build your own. The atmosphere inside was nice. I feel the value/price was appropriate given what you are given. You basically get a milkshake and a dessert on the side with it. My only issues were sizing (you're pretty much forced to get the bigger size because of the pricing structure so save room in your belly), my milkshake was already melting when it arrived at the table. Other than that, it's a great place and we'd visit again.
Matthew Zimecki
Pretty good milkshake, but unless you really want a good picture there are better places for a milkshake. The wait was pretty long around 45 minutes for me. However, its understandable given the presentation of the shakes here and how many they have to make. The price is also pretty steep, but again understandable given the sheer amount of 'extra' stuff is added to it.
Overall, nice for a picture, not for a quick dessert. One of a kind.
garrett crowley
Awesome place, sometime there is a big wait but it’s worth it. Definitely somewhere to bring visitors!
Cortney Prather
Huge portions! The icing around the cup was a bit overwhelming but that's just me. Definitely a 4.5 in my book!
Tina Buda
Prices were higher than I expected but the kids enjoyed the birthday treat. We went on a Saturday, so it was busy and fast paced. They make a great chocolate malt if you're into those.
Hikergirl Adventures
OMG This place is AMAZING! Best ice cream I have had in a while! It's pricey but SOOOOOO GOOD! We totally enjoyed it.
Lee Lamon
Great experience! No wait if you get to restaurant when it opens. Friendly staff and clean environment! This was the first time visiting the establishment and the Death By Chocolate Shake can be beat!
Kasey Guerrero
Little disappointed. $52 for 2 shakes and some waters. I think we got some left over product from the day before because the funnel cake was super chewy and stale, and the Carmel corn was stale and hard to chew. It was a great "experience" for the kid in my dad, but a bit pricey. Don't get me wrong, the craftsmanship was phenomenal, presentation was a hit, but it fell a little flat because of the pricing.
Miranda Kelly
I needed to take the time to write this review because I am in awe. Not in awe of the milkshakes, though they were incredible, but of their wonderful customer service. I stopped by with my two year old son and if you know anything about children, taking them places can be difficult. I was already stressed from the day and having my son climb on chairs and run around finally cracked me. I kept apologizing and finally the lady, I assume the owner, told me that she's a mother and didn't mind. Then she asked Sterling if he wanted to help fix mommas milkshake. She picked him up, took him behind the counter, and let him help. He had so much fun and it was so awesome to see her interacting with my child, assuring me that he was not a bother. If you're in Nashville and don't mind paying just a little $$, definitely stop by here and grab a treat :)

I wish I would've took pics instead of video! Awesome place, made to your creativity. Definitely would eat one with 2 ppl unless you are like me and like to be stingy lol.
Annalena Sichel
The milkeshake was amazing and the staff very friendly. The atmosphere in the store is also very relaxed and they are playing good music. But as good as everything was I have to admit that it's rather pricey.
Abbey Gunter
My favorite place to visit when I'm really ready to indulge. I love it and I always tell anyone who will listen to go and try it for themselves.
Marisa P.
Amazing presentation. Was hoping the ice cream was going to wow us but it was just typical ice cream. The toppings were good.
BlueEyes3493
Oh my gosh. This was ah-maze-ing! The milkshakes were so good. I highly recommend.
Mason Lugo
First time here and worth checking out! The milkshake itself was delicious and creamy, the toppings were layered on well. They weren’t scarce with it so worth your money.
Brandie Greene
The neatest experience! Friendly staff and great service. We had cookies and cream, death by chocolate, and cookie monster and we loved it! Clean and safe environment as well.
Renee Fini
The place is huge, lots of seating, the milkshakes are tasty, but slightly runny. I like thick shakes.
Denise Bermudez
Awesome shakes, worth the wait. My family each had a different shake, all delicious. I recommend Death By Chocolate, that was what I had
Jennifer Smith
The concept is great, but this place is pricey for what you get. I got the hot chocolate and it was very watered down. I can definitely make a better hot chocolate at home. I expected something very chocolatey & creamy, and it was not. The others ordered milkshakes & they tasted quite yummy. The presentation was amazing! All in all, it’s a special occasion place, not a regular dining place.
Amber Hall
This place is a milkshake and an experience. You should try this place if you are ever in Nashville!
Phillip Hayes
We went there as a group and I must say.. what you see in the pictures is what you get. I ordered the death by chocolate shake with the brownie in it. The brownie was moist and delicious and everything was incredible. I would definitely recommend sharing with someone though. One of those things is an entire meal and enough to put you in a sugar coma for a day! That being said it was absolutely delicious and amazing and I'd highly recommend it. I'll be back next time I'm in Nashville!!!!
kruthan jordan
Shakes presentation was great. After that okay shake, kids loved them. Good stop to see very quick and friendly. Better to get the 16oz for the full presentation of the shake as advertised.
Kristy Arrowood
For those with dairy allergies they offer an almond milk icecream base. You can build your own shake or go with their pre made dairy free shake. They also offer kids sizes which is great for those that kids with dairy allergies as well.
Ali Meyn
Delicious and fun! These hand crafted milkshakes are created artfully with all your favorites: banana split, coffee & doughnuts, s'mores, etc. Stop in for a sweet treat and friendly service!
Travis Varble
Taste and presentation was great. Price and service, not so great. I stopped by on Sunday night and it was a little busy, but not too bad. I had to wait a few minutes, but nothing like I've read in some of the other reviews(an hour or two WOW). I had the Sitting Pretty in Music City and it looked and tasted amazing. When I looked at the menu I thought I that it was going to be $9. Then I ordered I was told $13. I saw where you could purchase the mugs, so I asked if I was being charged for the mug. Instead of saying sorry for the confusion, the staff seemed angry and was pretty rude. They could have said that's the price of the small would you like that or that's an old menu or something along those lines. Instead I got, something about going to a spaghetti place and trying to keep plate. Whay? Very rude and unnecessary.
.
Jacob Hebert
Milkshakes for days! Lots of great options and spacious seating. Service was quick and they weren't too busy for noon on a Monday. They have lots of great flavor selections and they were very delicious. If you find yourself on Broadway in Nashville, check this place out!
phoenix warrior training (phoenix warrior training)
OMG the shakes here are huge and taste great. No boring closed cup bs here, you get a mountain of elaborate toppings
Alicia F
Good shake but waited over an hour. Employees were rude and disrespectful.
Darrin Cain
So the quality of ice cream is good but 17 and change for a 16 ounce shake? NO. Not only that if you got the 8 ounce shake is 16 and change. 12 bucks would be a fair price for 8 ounce vs 16. I do not care that its downtown Nashville shouldn't be that expensive. Will be a one time for me.
Alexander Fraser
A great and elaborate milkshake. There is a wait but that's what you get when every shake is handcrafted! Worth it all!
Jesika Keener
Such a great experience! I appreciated that they include a vegan option on the menu so that I could take part in the fun!
Noelle Robbins
Omg super neat! A little on the pricey side but well worth it for this sweet treat. You can build your own or go with their own creative concoctions.
Alex Bak
Went on a weekday which was a great choice based on the reviews. Great ice cream and the presentation was awesome.
Josh Thompson
You have to make your way to Lengendairy on your way thru Nashville. This milkshake was to die for.
Jess Webster
If you're in Nashville take a trip to this milkshake joint. The lines can be long, but it's worth the wait. With dairy free options amoung a large selection of signature shakes, build your own cookie dough/milkshake options this place can satisfy every craving you have.
Derrick Grace
Not bad. A lot of sugar so I can't visit too much but it was fun to finally try. The shakes are sweet but on some of them, there is more of the stuff that accompanies the shake instead of the shake itself. For example, the Frankenstein shake had just as much brownie and whip cream as there was shake and this can be overwhelming. However, this place is popular for a reason and I feel one should definitely try it once and go from there.
Martha Baird
Over the top milkshakes. Very rich. There were two of us & we split one which was perfect. Pricey for a milkshake but is an experience & very delicious. We had the Falluejah
Nikki Bruins
Amazing milkshake creations. I didn't know where to start to try to eat or drink mine. I had the strawberry cheesecake and couldn't believe it came with a whole piece of cheesecake on top. Absolutely delicious!
Gaelin
A bit overpriced for the quality of ingredients. Very sweet and filling. More expensive than my dinner.
Jordan Anderson
Nicely presented. Very tasty. Very accommodating for allergies!
Cookie Spickard Pickett
Fast paced!! Milkshakes phenomenal!! Atmosphere good. It’s just their wait!!
Lauren Gallagher
I really enjoyed the presentation and the milkshakes were good, but they weren’t the best ice cream I’ve ever had.
Heresh (Harry)
In the heart of downtown, a nice location. Busy but quick. The milkshake was really great but the staff was not that helpful. The atmosphere was very lively.
Darth_Lucas3
It was very good and pleasing. I got the majestic unicorn and was very fulfilling and sugary so thank you.
Kirstie R.
Fun staff and delicious menu!
I had the Sweet and Salty Cheesecake and the slice of cheesecake on top was the softest, I've ever had.
Amanda Cowan (Manda)
Loved it!even tho it can be an hour wait,as long as your with family and friends, using that time to catch up on your week and then getting those BEAUTIFUL milkshakes, makes the wait and price(14.22 each shake)well worth it!!we will definitely go back!!
Sarah Hubel
Super fun place. Milkshakes were great and just as photogenic as promised. However, it was really disappointing that the estimate for the wait time wasn't more accurate. We put in our order when the estimate was one hour. We waited for over two hours, and as a result weren't able to get supper at a decent time. Staff was great and was trying their absolute hardest - I know things are tough because of folks being short staffed. Really just wish there was a better way to guess the wait time.
Crystal Turner
Would have given 5 stars if the service would have been faster and they hadn't missed one of our milkshakes that we had to wait super long for them to "quickly make". However, we did get a super cute milkshake glass as a sorry for the inconvenience. Delicious, YES, but be prepared to wait!
Ashton Carrigan
This is what dreams are made of. I got the cookie doughlicious and my fiancé got you make me snicker.
Salman Mattar
Everything was good except the donut.
Sierra
We waited in line for a REALLY long time here, but it truly was worth it. We came for my boyfriend's birthday, and they even remembered that I mentioned it in passing while we ordered it, and they brought his milkshake out with a candle on top! So cute. The milkshakes are extremely photogenic and taste just as good as they look. They also have so many kinds to choose from, so there's something for everyone. I even bought a t-shirt so I could remember how good this place was!
Terra Griffith
A little pricey but so worth it. I got the strawberry cheesecake shake and it was delicious! My husband got the campfire smores and my SIL got The King Shake, they all tasted amazing!
Armand steffens
While the milkshakes and Ice creams are amazing, I do not think the owners care much for service. I have been there twice over two days and both days there was a wait of over an hour. The second day my kids begged me to stay and I will never do that again. The time waiting is not worth the treat especially considering the price. I'd rather walk another 100 yards and grab a dairy delight from another establishment.
Glenn Pleasants
Let me start by saying the service was very good and the line moved along quickly. The line was down the street but they were very efficient and didn’t have to wait long. It was amazing that as many people that were coming to get a milkshake somehow managed to get a table. We never saw anyone have to stand and drink their dessert.
Now on to the main event which is the namesake of the establishment. The milkshakes. We all agreed that the presentation and the atmosphere is the draw here. What was disappointing was the milkshakes are just average at best. They use Blue Bell ice cream to make their milkshakes. For some reason I assumed they would have made their own ice cream but at least they use a high quality manufactured one to use. I had the cookie dough shake, while my wife had the cookies and cream. Presentation wise they were a work of art. Taste wise...it just didn’t have any. It didn’t even have the consistency of a milkshake and felt like we were eating ice cream out of a glass. For $12.99 for a 16 ounce shake we expected more. For that price you can buy two half gallons of Blue Bell at your local grocery store and make your own shakes at home.
Like I said, the place is neat and the business model unique on how they make their milkshakes. But for that price one would expect a better tasting product. Go for the experience but trust me it is not a place that you can go everyday. For four shakes our total was over $60 but that also included buying a sovereign glass for $5. That’s milkshakes people for 60 bucks. For that it needs to be a religious experience which it wasn’t.
Kenneth Hedeen
No wait to order and sit down and the wait to get our milkshake was well worth it!
Abhilash Nambiar
There is always a long line, especially on Saturdays. So unless you are prepared to spend most of your Saturday waiting, come early. The milkshake is good, but the service is not prompt. I had to wait almost an hour to get my milkshake after ordering. Was it worth the wait? Probably. But at this point, they could use someone who is good at managing logistics. If you can come on any day besides Saturday, then please do. You will have a more enjoyable time, with less of a crowd.
Mathew Godfrey
Amazing milkshake. Lost a star for being expensive $$$$
Vernon Peterson
Very delicious. A bit on the expensive side if you ask me but again it was tasty. Luckily I went when there was no line
Aly McCollow
There's such an awesome array of delicious sounding milkshakes & I was delighted that they offer a vegan option. It seems like there is often a wait, but it's worth it! There's a fun atmosphere & all the desserts were so impressive (it was rate to see a guest that didn't photograph their dessert before diving in).
Paul Ryan
I remember passing by this place before it opened and I already saw a line forming out the door. I kept a mental note and kept walking to do some touristy stuff. I wanted to make a stop at the place on the way back and wow that line was long!
We waited in line a for a while and eventually ordered. Once ordered, we were told it would take another 30 minutes to get our shake. They were accurate; we got them in 30 minutes so the total wait time from joining the line to getting a shake was an hour. After the long wait I was afraid they'd disappoint, but it was fantastic! All the decorative pieces tasted great especially the brownie. Only downside is there were some ice chunks in the shake and while waiting, I didn't understand if we'd have our shakes in a glass jar or not.
Either way, this was an awesome experience with a great shake I couldn't get anywhere else!
Penni Contreras
Awesome little ice cream shop. Of course everyone comes for the milkshakes...they're a little insane.
Tanya McPherson
It's a neat novelty! Worth the price to see the kids excitement of seeing a big milkshake. It's cute. We went on a snow day for the kids and it was perfect treat!
V King
Cons:
Wait times are long.
Costs $12.99 just for the 8 oz and $13.99 for the 16oz. The smaller size should be half the price.
I got the S'more shake, which was so underwhelming. Nothing but marshmallows and chocolate ice cream. I wish there was graham crackers inside the ice cream.
Pros:
Very creative idea - just wish I tried a different flavor.
A cool once-in-a-lifetime sort of thing to try.
Also, I don't get complaining about the prices after the fact. They tell you right there on the menu. Do I think these are life-changing for fourteen bucks? No. Even Kilwin's is cheaper. I'd say, worth the try but split it with your friends!
Sarah Reeves
Extravagant milkshakes in every flavor imaginable!
Tasty. The customer service was lacking a bit but still a good experience.
Nathaniel Harris
Pricy but I say mostly worth it. Customer care 9 out of 10. Beautiful looking dessert!
Ryley Esler
It's fine. Very over priced for what you get. I would say the milkshakes are twice the price they deserve to be. Also a lot of employees seeming like they were doing nothing. When we got up to the counter there were 4 people there, none of them helped us and waited a few minutes for someone to come out of the back to take the register.
Teresa Chambers
This ice cream place is amazing!!! Even though we had to wait over an hour it was well worth it! Although everyone in there was waiting so long the crowd energy was fantastic!! We cheered each time someone shake was brought to their table lol and we did the wave a few times... my daughter loved it!!! She's ready to go back already lol! The staff did a great job of trying to get the orders out in a timely manner! Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen!!!
D H (Bc2016)
It was nice A little pricey but good milkshakes and ice cream
realgoodguyalways
I don't have any pictures but it is amazing, the staff was sweet and so were the milkshakes. Don't think you won't find something you like there, they have 16 different options and if you don't want any of those you can make your own. Overall great place but it is a bit pricey.
Victor Cruz
Great and delicious just need 30 minutes o more to be serve but you should wait. 👍👍 …
Brian Foster
My son ate this thing. I have no sweet tooth and can't believe people pay so much or wait so long for a milkshake. The hype seems a little weird, but hey, I like weird stuff too so go for it!
Whitney Klein
It was our first time in Nashville and we happened upon The Legendairy Milkshake Bar when we were looking for ice cream. This place is legit 100% dedicated to making amazing milkshakes. They have a good system and friendly staff. It usually takes between 30-60 mins to get your shake (after waiting in line) so give yourself plenty of time and bring something to entertain yourself. You can get them to-go but is much more fun to get them in the bulging Legendairy ball jar! If you have time, I highly recommend checking them out! We shared the Campfire S’mores between 1 kid and 1 adult. We might have been able to finish 2 but sharing 1 was perfect. They also have a smaller kid size.
Matt Miller
Took 20 minutes to get ours and was a giant mess. For a $15 shake, use a bigger cup and work to be in line with equivalent service in the industry.
Tasted fine. Little light in the actual ice cream but that feels like a personal preference than an issue.
Hustle Moore
THE MILKSHAKES TASTE GREAT AND WERE MADE PERFECT IM SO HAPPY AND EXCITED I STOPPED BY. WOW THANK YOU TO THE STAFF THAT WORKED IT OUT BEAUTIFULLY FOR ME. THANK YOU LADIES KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND TAKE CARE. I RECOMMEND TO ALL MY FRIENDS.
Tracy Uker
Other than the homeless man yelling at us through the window, all was great! Being from Texas, I was glad to see Bluebell ice cream in tennessee!
evelyn Nava
Shakes are devine! Had the Cappuccino and donut, the mint chip shake and banana pudding shake. All rich, creamy, sugary goodness.
Jared Ferko
I don't think I've ever had a milkshake as great as this before. My girlfriend and I went to Nashville for the weekend and this was a place we wanted to go no matter what. When we got to the restaurant the line was long and we were uncertain if we wanted to wait (was a 45 minute wait standing outside due to covid). We decided to wait since this was one of the main reasons for our trip. We finally got through the line and then ordered our drinks and ended up having to wait another 30 minutes for our milkshakes. Even though we had to wait almost an hour and a half for a milkshake it was definitely worth it. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake and my girlfriend ordered the death by chocolate. I couldn't even finish half of it before I was full. I had high expectations for this place and it certainly lived up to them.
Christine Heptig
Amazing! Such a cool place. Went later in the night and no line. Definitely worth a trip!
Leah
They look pretty but do not taste extraordinarily good. Waited 30 minutes for our three items and the wait was not worth it.
T Jones
Great service. Great selection.clean
Rebecca Miller
Amazing milk shakes. Lots of flavors and fun holiday themes. Slightly expensive.
Kristin Wagner
Great milk shakes! You can either choose one of theirs or create your own.
Gina Kitzmiller
Great marketing but did not meet expectations. We walked right in and ordered without a line- thinking we got lucky. They told us 35 minute wait to get food which was no problem....We THEN waited at a table for 50-60 minutes for so-so ice cream milkshakes. Great presentation, taste very average. Would not go back. Legendary... only for the wait time.
Clara Chapman
Came to Nashville for a day trip. I knew I wanted to hit this place up before I left.
Its only about a block away from the “place to be”. But the wait for ice cream is a bit long. 45 minutes to get a milkshake is long time! (Although I did get mine before that.) It was very tasty and the mugs come out just as pictured, plus the entire place is clean and tidy. There’s wonderfully cute decor and paint job, perfect for taking pictures with your friends, posts for Instagram, and making all your other friends jealous of you. Great for sharing if you get big ones, and kids sizes if you don’t want a huge one.
My only complaint is that they don’t bring out the ice cream at the same time. So you don’t get share in the adventure “together” and someone will get left out for 5(ish) minutes. I took note of a couple peoples tables who also got theirs one at a time like this as well. I don’t know if they make a bigger effort for larger tables?
M K
My friend was ordering a coffee with ice cream in it and the person taking our order just kept telling us they had no idea how to ring it up and then made up a price of 11 dollars. They informed us they hadn't tried most of the shakes and then said "but you can get that anywhere, you should get something else" when I ordered the milkshake and cookies shake. The ice cream was very good though!
Pearly Q
There was no line when we walked in and ordered. Most of the tables were full with very few having been served. It was a Tuesday afternoon, and they seemed to be fairly well staffed, yet ice cream was being served one item at a time, not one table at a time. One poor family with 4 kids were served one item at a time over a span of 20 minutes. The entire family was done before the Dad was served. We waited an hour for our shakes. The shakes were really good and presentation was fun. After eating I went to wash my hands. The bathroom was a wreck and there was no soap or paper towels. I know I’m being picky here, but why in the world would they be playing bad pop music instead of music by country music legends? I’m glad we went, though due to wait times I won’t be back.
Jonathan Briggs
Saw this place on the internet and we thought we would stop by here on our way through Nashville. It was really fun and they have some really interesting shakes. Also the service we got (despite the crowd) was relatively quick. I tried the rocky road one, the coffee one, and the chocolate one and they all were great! I will say though, that the shakes themselves didn’t necessarily taste any different from any other type of ice cream, but it was a really fun experience and I’m glad that we did it.
Barry Kenney
They make milkshakes that are unique wirks of art....you better love ice cream....
Lana Foster
This had nice presentations but the milkashakes were not worth the 20 bucks. it tasted fine. it was nothing special other then the diabetes your bound to get from it.
Edward Blunt
This place has some great ice cream and milkshakes. The restaurant isn't anything special, just a nice little place to stop and have a treat. My family enjoyed everything they got. We ordered the brownie and cookie dough milkshakes, and a couple of scoops of cotton candy ice cream. Ordering was a bit of a mess. There are papers sitting out for you to order your food, but they are organized very well, and most had already been partially filled out and left. It wasn't very intuitive on how to order. the milkshakes looked awesome. They come in mason jars rimmed with some kind of chocolate icing or gouache, and chocolate chips, then topped with a big brownie and cookie respectively. They don't make their own ice cream, which for ma takes away a little from the experience. So, I feel like you are mostly paying for the construction of the milkshake, and not the actual flavors. Everything was good, but not great. With that said, we would probably go back if we are in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip to just this place.
Sidney Daley
Had the Milk(shake) & cookies. Was not overly rich, (which is a good thing) it was creamy and delicious!! This is a must eat at!
Katrina Kulka
My brother recommended this place and it was totally worth it. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake, complete with a white chocolate chip rim and a slice of cheesecake on top! 🍓 …
William Venolia
I just ordered so my review isn't on the ice cream which looks amazing my review is on the staff. My son scuffed his knee and the worker was very kind and helpful. She got me a few bandaids and I patched him up. Compassion and kindness is something that seems lost in today's world and its nice to see people go beyond to help others. I didn't see a name tag or I'd give her a shout out. My stuff arrived while I was writing this up and my kids and I love it! Great place
Michael Swaenepoel
Great food and kind service! However, on a slow night there were still 8+ un-cleared/dirty tables for over 30 mins and one employee picked his teeth with his finger while a glove was on and did not remove/change out the glove. Legendairy has great potential but seems to lack efficient management.
Sarwat Rattani
This place is worth the hype! We made our own milkshake and it was super delicious. I really love that you can pick and choose your own elements. Plus the indoor dining area is very spacious and the staff is incredibly patient and helpful. Don't forget to drop by when you visit Nashville!
Daniel Heden
What to say but YUM! The website pictures of the menu are actually what you get. Prepare for dessert death! You definitely get your moneys worth.
lori welsh
It's a wonderful place to get a milkshake. The milkshakes are very unique and the staff there is very nice. I highly recommend going here and enjoying some good sweet dessert!
Ramo DaDon
Great time here! The Milkshake was great as well as the waiter and the service. Amazing people and very welcoming. Will definitely go back again.
Bill Moeller
Went there with friends and had a great time. I will come back when I get back to Nashville.
Joyce Kisling
We went to Legendairy because we had relatives visiting from California so we were excited to show them this special place. We ordered an ice cream cone with whipped cream, three shakes, including a banana split, and water. Thirty minutes later we were served an ice cream cone without whipped cream, three shakes, but the banana split had been changed to something else, and no water. I expect to be served what I paid for regardless of the cost, but the exorbitant cost made me think that the uncomplicated order would have been accurate.
Kimberly Hawley
Delicious!! Pretty expensive for blue bonnet but still good to visit at least once.
Anna Otis
Very expensive and a very long line but really good. I got a milkshake with a slice of cheesecake. A splurge for sure.
Jason Hall
Awesome flavors and great concept! We really enjoyed our treat!
Richard Dierenfield
Amazing, creative milkshakes that willeave you full, especially the 16oz size. Be prepared to wait, similar to a restaurant and be prepared to pay big $$ for a large family.
Simon S
The milkshakes are amazing. Great looking, great tasting and a real event in your day. I can only give four stars because on entry to the restaurant, there was a distinct smell of vomit. We were one of the first in (saw doors open) so I can only assume it was from the night before. A little gross; there must be ways to at least mask the smell! The shakes take quite a while to come even if you’re one of the first to order and they don’t come all at the same time; 3/4 of our families came simultaneously then the last was nearly 10 mins later. I know this is a difficult business to run and milkshakes here are v complex. But I guess I’d rather a little simpler milkshake than trying to explain to a six year old why they don’t have theirs yet and everyone else is nearly finished. Great shakes. Improvements could be made on the logistics side of things.
D “Bandgig360” N
Tried this place out because I was craving a milkshake. It turned out to be a mound of delicious blended ice cream with crazy toppings and a whole slice of cheesecake on top!
What I wasn't expecting was the $13 price or the sweetness of the shake... The price I feel is justified given the fact you get so much. However these aren't traditional milkshakes. They are very sweet, which may be a positive or negative depending on your taste. To me it was too sweet.
The staff were very polite and welcoming. I'm happy for the experience and it's a good place to take a date that has a sweet tooth.
Jesse Johnson
Milkshakes were good. Maybe even very good. Either way they are somewhere between good and very good (and about $15 per shake). They were also very pretty to look at. All the shakes have some type of chocolate or peanut butter rim with some type of candy stuck to them as well as some type of "garnish" like a whole donut, whole piece of cheesecake, etc... Very instagramable. (I will come back to that in a minute). However every time I have walked by the store there has always been a line outside the door and down the sidewalk. I finally bit the bullet and went at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon. The line was still out the door and down the block. It took about 30 minutes to get seated. Once we got in the staff was very friendly and good at communicating and letting you know it was at least 60 minutes to get your shake after you ordered. So all told we waited over 90 minutes to get a milkshake. I don't know how to say this without it coming off as a criticism but it is not meant to be criticial at all. Inside the shop there were 2 or 3 very instagramable walls. It honestly felt like the store would be perfect for instagram influences to get some quality content between the look of the shakes and the various walls in the store. For normal people however I have a really hard time recommending Legendary if there is a 90 minute wait to get a shake. If there is no line or a short wait I would 100% recommend Legendary. Very good shakes, friendly staff, some good photo walls, etc... Personally I think there are too many good dessert places in Nashville to wait 90 minutes for a shake but as long as you go in with a patient attitude you will get a very good and photogenic $15 shake.
Alexander Frank
Dairy food coma was achieved. It's worth the wait.
10/10

Cool vibes, amazing milkshake presentation! Mediocre tasting though🙁 cool place to visit once. …

Those Milkshakes are amazing. Well worth the price, you have to drop by and treat yourself.

Good milkshakes, but VERY VERY expensive. Literally filled me up feeling sick for the next 18 hours. Beware how much you eat

Great concept!!! Looks delicious. The wait doesn’t make sense. To wait 30 minutes for a milkshakes is crazy. Just know when you come here you will wait for your giant milkshakes and if there is a line good luck.

This would have been 5 stars but waited almost an hour for our shakes. Hands down favorite is the Majestic Unicorn! Pick this flavor, you won't regret it! Yummy!!!

Very friendly/courteous staff. It does take a while (25-30mins) to get a shake and you’re warned about it when ordering. There was only one dedicated person making shakes with another helping when possible and the volume of ice cream is less than it appears.

We all are struggling with side effects of Covid. I gather this establishment is no different. I walked across the city to try it out.
Unfortunately, the wait times after ordering was estimated to be >60 minutes. It was too long for me. I left and walked down the street to a local ice cream shop that has homemade ice cream. No significant wait , and it was excellent.
Given my above Covid statement, I will say that this establishment is the first in Nashville that has delays enough to cause me to patronize another establishment. It makes me wonder, therefore, if management can be optimized.

The milkshakes are great. I got the double chocholate.

$17 for a milkshake, it's good but it's not worth it, no wonder it was dead when I went . . .
