Simply amazing! Great taste, beautiful decor/arrangement. We need one back in the Maple Grove/Brooklyn Park area. We had to drive miles away just to get these. We had a blast and the drive was worth it! My little advice to wonder’s employees: please try to cover your hair while preparing the ice cream. I found a black hair string rolled up in my Vietnamese coffee ice cream yesterday. We understand y’all are busy, but when customers walked in, lift up your heads and greet them. Thank you

the ice cream is extremely rich and has a lot of flavor to it so if you’re someone like me that has a hard time handling those sorts of foods, be mindful of that ! i think the ice cream is a bit on the pricier side (mine was $7.50ish for a small w two toppings. although i didn’t mean to order one of them and was a bit confused when the person working there handed me my ice cream w sour warms and strawberries but that’s alright !). there was only one person on staff at the time i went and they worked very efficiently and i received my ice cream within 10 minutes even though there were two people ahead of me !

I'm going to update my review. After reading some responses to reviews, I have to agree with their reviews. There was nobody in the shop when we arrived, so I was really hoping to get original rolled ice cream like we did previously. Nope. Don't expect to get chopped up goodies in the ice cream anymore. As we were getting our final cup, two more PATRONS came in. Neither employee greeted them. A WELCOME TO WONDERS ICE CREAM, would go a long ways! I mean, they are paying to keep you open. We own a business, your business model does not work. Good luck 🤞🏽 Delicious. Not much of a wait at 6:30 on a Monday 👍🏻

Visited Wonders on a Tuesday afternoon. My first time getting rolled ice cream. Wonders wasn't too busy. There's a good selection of flavors on the menu. Two sizes available, small or regular- $6.25. $7.40 respectively. About what you would expect for specialty ice cream. Great flavor, refreshing for a hot afternoon.

Cute little rolled ice cream shop with minimal seating against the walls with thin tabletops. A little pricy but absolutely delicious and a good "once in a while" treat!

Customer service was awesome!! Flavor possibilities are endless & they also serve Italian ice. I love this new unconventional way to serve ice creams, custards & ices. A signature bowl will run u about $7.55 or u can build your bowl with any combo of flavors @ $6 a bowl with $0.50 per topping. They offer drinks & other desserts in interesting ways like the Wonder Dog; a doughnut which serves as a hot dog bun filled with rolled custard or Italian ice garnished with delicious candy toppings of your choice.

Wonders has great ice cream and a fun atmosphere with watching them make ice cream. I had sour tang and the ice cream had great flavor and had a great presentation. The downside is that parking was hard to find and the lines were quite long. Also there is not much seating available because it is such a small place. Overall i would go back again but during the week so it is not as busy.

We lucked out and didn't have to wait long for our ice cream. Since it was my first time there I wanted to try I've cream without to many flavors and was a little intimidated by the possible flavor combinations. Ordered the lychee and passion fruit. The lychee tasted just like a ripe lychee fruit, but the pain fruit barely had flavor. Staff we friendly and helpful. Will go back and try other flavors and combinations.

Fantastic ice cream and a decently cheap price for the quality. Unique and artsy atmosphere, but the music was a bit too loud. The guy who took my order forgot Reese's PB Cups (a special substitute request). I like the little tables because I could just focus on me and my ice cream.

Friendly staff and quick service. Ice cream was great and they didn't hold back on the toppings. Their music is amazing as well as the sound system. It was actually quite nice to sit down due to the atmosphere and how comfortable the setup is. I recommend it!

I really enjoyed my first experience with rolled ice cream here at Wonders. The ice cream was delish and it was neat to watch it being made. The staff is also friendly. The only thing I would improve is the overall cleanliness of the shop. The bathroom door was noticeably dirty, as well as the table tops. Presentation is key. That's why I gave the rating of 4 🌟 instead of 5. But I would still recommend!

Fun place to visit. Very fascinating watching them prepare and roll the ice cream. Also very tasty. Nice place to stop by for ice cream to go. Parking is limited to metered street parking and seating is limited inside. Family friendly environment.

Great little spot. It's not easy to see from the street. The one at moa had a line out the door, but this one almost looks closed from the outside and there were only a few other people when we visited. Yum. And fun. Yum fun.

My husband and I came here for the first time ever before finding out that the location in our city will be opening in 4 days. Anyway, I have been hearing/seeing the hype since they first opened and believe me, the photos looked great. We finally decided to visit today (St.Paul). Upon arrival, there was a long line of customers waiting FOR their order and a shorter line of customers waiting TO order. The place is super small and cramped for the amount of customers that have to wait. What I noticed firstly was that the employees look super exhausted and overwhelmed (which is understandable) but no welcoming experience because of it. After placing our order we sat and waited. During this time I was able to sit there and read up extensively on the business. I learned that there were actually multiple locations open/soon to be open. From a business standpoint, you think wow; a little under 10 locations in just about 1 year. They are either doing well OR that they are biting off more than they can chew. Now I am not sure if this is a 1 owner or franchise business so here is my take on both. Personally if they are owned by 1 person/family, I would have focused on my first location before opening more. I haven't been to the new ones as they are too far and not many good reviews but I can tell you my experience at the original location. The place isnt very clean, tables were cheaply made and dirty, the place has a window a/c unit keeping the place cool and tonight where it was 67-70 degrees, the air outside was way cooler than being inside. The fans on each side of the room were just circulating the hot air in the room. The employees didn't look very happy about being there. No one came out to clean tables. The floors were unclean, dust/stains on the walls, to me it looks like they finish their shifts so exhausted that they are not cleaning DAILY. I personally didn't know how to feel about how sanitary a Lasko fan blowing dust over where the ice cream were rolled in order to keep the employees rolling the ice cream cool would be but I guess a little dust won't kill anyone. Back to the cleanliness, I am not sure how in 1 year of operating the place can look like this. So if you're opening multiple locations I would think about hiring more employees here so that cleaning can be done daily and so your employees are overly exhausted to conserve energy and are able to apply that energy towards their customer's experience. I would have also used that money to revenovate the place which sadly isn't ideal for just 1 year of operating. The place of origin of a growing business should be the best place of all, not the worst. If this business is ran as franchise, I would hope that the independent owners would make sure that their new locations are better than this one ALL AROUND. I gave this business a 4 out of 5 because I know this review is my opinion and I feel like giving it a much lower one was more appropriate but I also would like to give the business the benefit of the doubt because even after waiting 1 whole hour to taste the ice cream, I would say it was worth the 1 hour wait but not a minute more (because of the OVERALL experience). I really do feel like all the con factors listed above really effected this experience poorly. I hope that the owner(s) will hear me out on this review. This review only reflects my personal experience. I do not wish any negativity on this business but only hope that my posts be considered to better their businesses and their customer's experiences.

Wonders is a fun I've cream shop. The line was quite long, but after ordering you can watch them make ice creams. Very neat process. The price was fair and there were a variety of flavor choices and combinations. I tried the taro mixed berry. It was awesome! Not a ton of seating and only metered street parking nearby.

The ice cream is great but you'll be waiting a while which they're continuing to improve upon but they've only been open a few days which makes sense... The ice cream is hand rolled and starts as a liquid which is very unique but does take time. The staff are very friendly and this is a new hot spot for ice cream. I went here Monday night around 9pm but didn't leave with ice cream until 10:30pm. You get one flavor, one topping, and whipped cream but if you want more toppings, each additional topping is an extra $0.50. Everyone who I spoke with Monday night said the wait was worth it which I totally agree.

Brought the family here today, and it was the most fun we've ever had getting ice cream. They had all sorts of fun fruity flavors that were really fresh and tasty, but the Thai coffee ice cream was my favorite. Sooo yummy. Super entertaining to watch them make our creations and the end result looks beautiful. Considering how fresh the ice cream is and how much work goes into each serving, the prices were totally reasonable too. Loved it! Will be back for sure!

Very different type of ice cream place. Lots of fun to watch them make your dish, great customer service too. They were out of something I ordered, but they didn't realize it until too late, so they let me switch my order and gave me a card for a free one the next time I visit. Word of caution however, the rainbow roll may seem intriguing, but it can be difficult to eat. Overall o enjoyed the experience and will likely be back again.

First time here to try the rolled ice cream craze and was not disappointed. Very cool for my small children to see ice cream made in such a unique way. Tried the suggested oreo and fruity pebbles flavors and both were great. The place was clean but could really use an all around touch up on the white paint as it seemed dingy. May try their Mall of America location.

This is different from your traditional ice cream experience, but really good! It's fun to watch the staff make the ice cream, the employees are as warm and inviting as the panda outside :) My only complaint is the speakers, if you sit at the tables near them it can be kinda hard to have a conversation since they're really loud and point directly at you. It also makes me a little sad that y'all don't have a recycling bin :( Overall great ice cream experience! Would absolutely recommend Wonders to mix it up on your next ice cream adventure.

This place is awesome. Very unique flavors and style. It's a nice addition to the neighborhood. The tea flavors are great, the Nutella banana is great. The Thai coffee is delicious. They were out of the donut cups and waffle tacos so I've got a reason to go back. Friendly staff and even artful in how they made the ice cream.

The staff was friendly, the rolled icream was delicious, but the true star of show was the Poke Bomb Bowl. My wife loves Poke, she said this was the best Poke bowl she has ever had. In other words, Wonder's Poke bowels are the finest in the land!! (Better than the big island of Hawaii!) Super super good. Thanks to the crew at Wonder's you guys are the best!

Must have again! Very fun to watch the ice cream making ritual and it tastes amazing! You can create many combinations of wet and dry ingredients for the artist to combine into/on your ice cream or choose from the menu of cool treats. Must take the kids here, whether they are 1 or 100, they'll love this place!

Great to have a place that serves rolled ice cream! Was my first time there and it was OK. A group of us ordered and all had mixed reviews. I ordered the hella chocolate one. There was not much flavor to the rolled ice cream, but the toppings were great! I will definitely come back and give it a second chance.

My daughter urged me to try Wonders Ice Cream, since she was already a fan from the St. Paul location. Our first experience at the Dinkytown location was fantastic. The space is spacious yet cozy, bright and clean, and the staff were very upbeat and friendly to match the dance-y beats that were playing. It was almost as fun watching them make the rolled ice cream as it was eating it, and the variety of flavors to choose from, along with the price, and the presentation were top-notch. They even gave my daughter a free stuffed panda that they still had left over from their promotional grand opening giveaways. We'll be back there for sure.

The line was crazy long! My family and I waited for about 1.5 hours. I don't understand why people are complaining about the wait time. What do you expect they are "hand crafting" your ice cream, it's not like they are scooping your ice cream. If you don't want to wait go get a McFlurry from across the street... These guys deserve a lot more credit and will continue to do well. The customer service was great, the kid with the dreads was super nice. We had 3 flavors (Strawberry, Taro and Honeydew) they were all amazing. Prepare yourself for the line bring a friend and enjoy the ice cream. This is a great business for the neighborhood.

I love this place! Took my son here as a treat and it was worth the trip. It's pretty easy to notice it from the main street, as it's right on the main street. The customer service is great. Everyone is very friendly and it makes the experience even better. The menu is very simple and easy to read for people of any age. It was great for my 9 year old son. Parking was pretty easy to get to. The shop itself is super adorable. Very simple and pandas all over. I would go again and again. =)

I got the coffee ice cream with a bite size brownie and cute little graham cracker bears. It was super yummy. Yes, it was a little pricey but the process they use to create the ice cream rolls and presentation of the final product made it worth more than a simple scoop of ice cream with toppings. The shop was busy when we arrived and just got busier as time went on. Don't go when you only have a few minutes to spare, especially in the afternoon. The space was too narrow for the amount of people and the tables and the table and stools are not meant for sitting and eating in but I predict a line out the door come summer time. Easy to find but poor parking, so it's a good thing it's right near the light rail. I'll definitely be back.

What a fun place. The ice cream was delicious. So unique. It's a small little place. It was probably 100 degrees inside. The small window AC unit couldn't keep up. The staff was friendly, and there were 4 orders before us, it was about a 15mn wait, but I didn't mind waiting as it was fun to watch all the creations being passed out! I will be back!

Very tasty Ice cream, very humble location. The rolled ice cream was delicious and rich. It tasted more like vanilla fudge than your typical Kemp's vanilla scoop. The Nutella-Banana was also top notch. Portions are large (but prices aren't cheap so I guess it's proportional). The decor is cute, but the tables are tiny, wobbly, and at an award height, and the stools are equally non-welcoming. They apparently want you to get your ice cream and get out, which in summer would be fine but is an issue in winter. Also, location does not have virtually any parking and the shop can be easy to miss if you aren't keeping an eye out for it. All-in-all, good product and service, mediocre-to-poor location.

I've been here twice in the winter season, so the business was not busy at all. However, my order still got mixed up both times. I had an extra item smashed into my ice cream (of which I'm not really complaining), then I got the topping and smash ingredient mixed up, resulting in a weird texture and no strawberry topping *sad face*. Both times we were in a hurry because parking isn't so readily available here, so I wanted to get in and get out before my car got towed away. Otherwise, the ice cream tastes good! Maybe could be cheaper, but makes it a nice date place in the summer time (but as said earlier, be weary of parking).

Visited this spot once summer 17’ & the ice scream menu was pretty basic - delicious though, but extremely hot within the shop. Fast forward till now & it’s freezing in the shop. Menu has expanded where they have signature flavors, waffle tacos & wonder dogs (ice cream inside a donut). I had a cheesecake/#4 which was sooo aesthetically pleasing & delicious. My bf had a strawberry wonder dog. Also super good - the donut was warm 💕 4/5 stars because of the store temp.

It was good. Beware Fruity flavors aren't sorbets. They are all egg custard type. We Went at a very busy time but overall it was fun watching them make your ice cream for you. Wonders Icecream could use work on giving their employee some nice air condition since they are working pretty hard on scraping the ice creams. I was a bit afraid someone might sweat into my ice cream.. luckily I didn't taste any salt though?

This place is great. The people working there are kind and sweet. The owner has a personality that lights up the room. The ice cream is yummy, but not really impressive. It does not have the wow factors you usually get with rolled ice cream. The rolls do not fit the cup, and are thin with a little amount of ice cream. One of the bowls in our group had mostly broken rolls, or rolls that had collapsed. The presentation compared to "real" rolled ice cream was sad. Again, there is no wow factor, just fruit t or other toppings that were hrown onto the rolled ice cream. I will go back, because there are no other rolled ice cream shops in MN.

I came here during the GRAND OPENING and was introduced to a decent bowl of rolled ice cream. I couldn't blame the workers due to the amount of pressure they already had had. I decided to come back another time when the urge for Wonders rolled ice cream had cooled down. And when I did, it was excellent! Best ice cream I've ever had. On a not so crazy day the Wonders crew are straight on perfect with what they do. You have to try this place forsure. I'll definitely be back for more!!!

Honey dew tasted exactly like a perfectly ripe honey dew. We waited a long time because there was a ton of people in line, and the place is small. But the workers were well organized, super busy and keep a good attitude. Worth the wait. I will definitely be recommending to my friends.

Very good ice cream, but takes awhile. That's the nature of rolled ice cream, but just be aware of that. If you're looking for a quick scoop and then need to be on the way, you're better off elsewhere. Fun and funky vibe, eclectic decor. Open late for your midnight craving.

Great ice cream, it's not a fast process to make rolled ice cream so don't go if you're in a rush. They have capacity for 4 people to prepare dishes at once but each dish takes several minutes.

This was my first time having Thai rolled ice cream. I had followed pages on Instagram and thought what a great concept it was and how fun it would be to get one here in the Twin Cities. I will reccomend this place to everyone. It was some of the best ice cream I have ever had and can’t wait to come back. The only draw back was the heat inside the shop. I felt so bad for all the workers but they did such great job and kept all the orders straight. The line was almost out the door today but it moved well. Thank you Wonders Ice Cream!!!

The ice cream was good. We tried the waffle taco, the rainbow roll and the donut. Word of warning, the rainbow roll is basically a fruit rollup and was hard to eat BUT when it's cold, it gets crunchy which I liked. Also, keep in mind it takes longer to make the ice cream since they roll it, but its worth the wait. I'm giving this place 4 stars because of location. The tables and floors were sticky and desperately needed cleaning. The bathrooms were gross and lacked paper towels. Sure, they had a hand dryer, but imagine bringing 3 kids there and trying to clean their faces without papertowels. (It's an ice cream place.... people get messy....) And the place was hot which made our taco rolls melt fast. If they can, they should really invest in a proper A/C.

They dont dress up the ice cream like they used to. The chocolate nutella rolled ice cream is awesome... But it is for 7 dollars. They used to add at least a wafer stick but the last time I went there, they only gave me some whip cream? They did not dress up the rolled ice cream which made me a little sad.

Wonder is a great place full of hard workers. Despite the time needed to do the rolls, they were efficient with the large crowd as the weather is getting warmer. It is a nice and small place cutely decorated. I got the passion fruit #16 and I loved it!

Blame me for picking a weird combo (coconut + vanilla) but mine did not taste good. My friend got almond + chocolate with bananas and Nutella and that was delicious. Flavor and consistency reminds me of Dippin' Dots. Price on the board says a flat $4 with no specification on adding flavors or toppings- our 2 totaled to $20 somehow, yikes. Waited an hour and a half from arrival to getting our order on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Street parking is metered and limited. Good, fun experience to try it once but couldn't say I'd be willing to wait that long again.

The menu sounds great, but I guess I'll never be able validate one way or the other. It would be helpful to keep either the website or the Google page updated.

A 'Wonder'ful spin on a novelty dish (😎) Great variety of choices, a beautiful presentation, and delicious too boot. My only problem is a small one. If I go alone, taking my leftovers is no problem. If I go with the family, getting it to-go can be a hassle as they only have lids for the large sizes, and no to-go lids for the kids sizes. They don't offer any carrying containers either, which probably is only a happy if you're taking more than a couple to-go. All in all, the place is fun, they play upbeat fun music and the store is very presentable. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Upon arrival of this hole in the wall establishment I was kind of disappointed because their air condition wasn’t on because they had fuse issues and apparently someone did not try this out before opening their doors. The other thing I noticed about this place is that they have high turn over and it appears to me that the new staff doesn’t get a whole lot of training as many mistakes were made. I do however have to say after visiting three times the air is working however with the amount of people waiting inside it is still pretty warm and stuffy inside which doesn’t help with the fact that they are making ice cream. I have yet to be disappointed on the ice cream choices I have made, and if it weren’t for the curb appeal, limited parking, and being too stuffy inside I would easily give this place 5 stars.

It's different but afterall it's still just custard ice cream. I had the coconut with pineapple topping. The pineapple came in wedges. Ice cream is eaten in small bites so they should have been diced. They also probably came from a can. Eventually I was left with just the ice cream and I could only taste a hint of coconut. That's partially due to a bit of a numb mouth. It's served very cold so it's no wonder. An unfortunate side effect. I do my price comparison based on Nelson's ice-cream (their small is more than most places large) and therefore Wonders is on the high end. It's in an odd location. You're only going there specifically for the ice cream. Makes more sense in a mall food court. I'd go there again if I happen to be in the area though.

Had a good experience since it was my first time there. They have lots n lots of choices so make sure you go through the menu while standing in line or search online before going there. Be Ready for a long WAIT Time. Average wait is around 30min but can go upto an hoir in the Summer time or on the weekends. There is a small parking lot right next to it, not sure if u can park there during the day, but they also have limited street parking right in front of the store. Staff is hardworking & they try their best to gets orders out fast. Very Limited seating inside the store, but they have a few chairs outside as well.

A little Thai-style rolled icecream shop on University Avenue that opens till late for a mostly younger crowd served by an equally young and attractive crew. The Deco is manga-esque but it's all business behind the counter with a thoroughly modern and equipped service area.
