Very friendly staff and great spot to just bring the family for some sweet treats and enjoy the beauty of St. Paul's Como area. With the lake just a few blocks away, this spot is perfect. Stop in today and try some tasty treats for yourself.

I'm sooo happy that they have my grape float! It's all I've been looking for since moving to St Paul as there isn't a DQ around. Someone got a vanilla cone with covered in crunch and it looked so dang good! That's what next to try. Their food smell good too. They keep busy! But then again it was 80⁰ today on October 11. They are open until the October 21 woohoo

Cute little building. I had a cheeseburger, cheese curds and a large diet coke. I went to go walk it off at a nearby park that had a small lake. Then I went back to Conny's creamy cone for the dip of the week waffle cone :) (dip of the week was Confetti birthday cake). Another time I went I tried the mac and cheese wedges.. yummy! I encluded a picture of the mac and cheese wedges.

Y'all know how darned hard it is to find a simple twist cone in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area and surrounding suburbs?! I came all the way from St. Louis Park to satisfy my craving for one, and it was absolutely worth the drive! I was tempted by the other delectable sounding flavors, but I ordered the traditional chocolate/vanilla twist I've had a hankering for over the past few months and I was not disappointed! So much creamy goodness for $3. It's the simple things in life, you know? I think I'll stop by one more time on Saturday and try one of the more exotic flavors before Conny's closes for the season. Thank you, Conny. Thank you!!!

It's a neighborhood institution for a reason. If you live in the Twin Cities, you are pretty much obligated to go there once or twice every season. They reportedly have 37 million flavors of ice cream, but I can't get past the chocolate sundae with chocolate ice cream. This type of place is sadly becoming a rare bird in this world, so give them your love, and a few bucks. Keep them thriving.

So good! If you want a ton of different soft serve flavors to choose from this is for you. I love soft serve and this is the BEST around. It is VERY soft. If it's hot outside you'll have to eat quickly lol. I usually get the tuitti fruiti as it tasted like bubble gum and I love shunting bubble gum. Today I got twist as I've been on a twist kick and it's getting hard to find. Amazing soft serve and plenty of different options for all family members. I always get the soft serve as does my son but my husband gets shakes and flurries. Parking lot is very small and can get congested if it's busy FYI

This place is a Saint Paul institution and the kind of ice cream that makes kids think of summer. The sheer multitude of flavors means you can come back and always try something new. New dipped cone flavors each week? Yes please. However, I love a classic. The twist with a crunch coating takes me back to being a kid in the best way. The turtle sundae is massive with great hot fudge. The caramel is a little thin for my preference but has a rich flavor to it. The food is also pretty good. Hot crunchy cheese curds are as good as you’ll find at the State Fair.

Wonderful little place, I’ll be back for sure. Get some ice cream or fried snacks and sit on the nearby picnic tables to enjoy. Reminded me of my childhood visiting the walk-up A&W’s in backwoods Wisconsin! Had a great chocolate shake and loved my order of mini corn dogs, fried just like at the fair (about six pieces in each order). I also ordered deep fried mac and cheese bites which were ok, but too salty for me, not enough cheese flavor, I won’t get again. Overall 10/10. I’ll slowly eat my way through the rest of the menu!

Conny's is everything I remember about my childhood. Every weekend going to a walk up ice cream shop and getting a cone with my family. It keeps the tradition alive, offering cheap prices and friendly service. There aren't any gimmicks or crazy dishes, just straight up ice cream.

Great soft serve! I got a twist done dip + my husband got a banana-peanut butter cone. I wasn't excited by his choice by when I tasted it, it was delicious!!! Tasted just like banana + peanut butter, not artificial at all like I thought. Definitely worth a detour.

We needed a quick place for lunch before a concert at Como High School, so we came here since it was the only place we saw nearby. It was really good! My kids got burgers. They came with white American cheese, which my kids weren't sure about but they ate it. I got a Polish -- very juicy and flavorful. Then we got a chocolate fudge shake to share -- yummy! They had all kinds of flavors for ice cream cones -- cotton candy and piña colada to name a few. There is only outdoor seating, and their parking lot is crazy small, but if you're in the area, it's worth a stop.

Super yummy local creamery! They also have things like cheese curds, chili dogs, etc. Definitely family friendly. There's limited seating outdoors and none inside. They usually stay open until they served the last person in line, so their hours are flexible. They also stay open info fall. Great place!

What a sweet little shop! I'm so glad my friend told me about this hidden gem. It's old and rundown, mom and pop style, old school walk up windows. Service was friendly and fast and my kids were wowed by all the soft serve flavors. I think this place will be a new tradition when we go to Como. Loved it!

This place is AMAZING. I'm upset that I didn't know about it until late this year, because it's quickly become my favorite local soft serve place. I live in South Minneapolis, but when I find myself on the other side of the river, I always make sure to make a stop at Conny's. What makes it great: Firstly, the price. It's affordable! Especially if you're just getting a cone. They have other things that I haven't tried, but I'm sure I will eventually! They have 24 different flavors of soft serve. 24 different flavors. I've made it my mission to to try all of them. My favorite so far is the mango, but the cheesecake is pretty good too. Try them all, you won't be disappointed. They're friendly! The provide great customer service, and they're happy to help you, which is awesome. Lastly, they have a pup cup option for doggos. When I take my dog, they make sure to always have something for her. She loves it. All in all, this is a great little place in Saint Paul and I suggest you check it out!

Cheap, delicious, and quick! This is a quaint little place that has a service window and maybe 6 parking spots. The line moves quickly and they have a huge variety of soft serve flavors. This place asks that you pay cash if the total is under $5 and if its just you, it definitely will be under!

First time here and was not disappointed. The ice-cream is all soft serve and they have over 24 options to choose from. I got the chocolate chip cookie flurry and it was phenomenal. I've been coming here since I was a kid with my grandparents. I have SO many fond memories here❤ I always have the best experience, and the ice cream is GREAT! Here are my recommendations (from someone who's tried EVERYTHING on the menu, at least once) Try thee: -CHEESE CURDS! (less grease, better than the state fairs!) -Marshmellow Shake!! (I bring this home & add some chocolate chips & crushed graham crackers. I call it a s'mores shake!) -TOASTED COCONUT DIP ON CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM!!! (I wish this one was a regular menu item, but it's usually a "dip of the week" so get it while you can!! -The classic Banana Split (I've never had a better banana split!)

A neighborhood gem! The ice cream is always creamy and delicious, pricing very reasonable, with endless options and flavor possibilities! Our favorites are the flurries, specifically Oreo with peanut butter added, and cookie dough (real cookie dough blended in). DROOL. Love the food and soft serve. They have lots of classic items including slushes and floats. Their cheese curds are really good and my wife said their fish sandwiches was really tasty. If your in the mood for soft serve, this is a good local choice. Two things to note:. They can have a long line (worth the wait), and they only take cards for orders of $5 or up (not hard if you are with people).

Would recommend! Update: We have been back twice since the first review and have enjoyed the cheeseburger, banana cone, peach ice cream cone, and a cone with mixed black cherry and cheesecake ice cream. All very good and fast service. They could use some more outside seating options.

Great evening to stop by a locally owned ice cream shop for a great German Chocolate soft serve ice cream cone. Their soft serve ice cream comes in 28 different flavors. This ice cream is really delicious and creamy compared to the other frozen ice milk served at the chain stores. They do also have a grill and serve other food in addition to the ice cream. However, I highly recommend stopping by for a treat.

Great prices, tried a double bacon burger, hot dog, and a slushie. Slushy machine (just a slush puppy one) was having a bit of trouble (not quite slushy) but it was really warm out. Burger and fries were good, hot dog was fine but nothing special. Worth stopping by, lots of flavors for ice cream.

We love this Mary/Dale neighborhood institution. Everytime we've visited there's been at least one kid so happy to get Conny's they can't contain their excitement. There have been quite a few adults almost on the edge for some Conny's too...me included. 😁 But we never knew pups could join in on the fun too. This place seriously has the most delicious soft-serve ice cream I've ever tasted. It makes DQ seem utterly flavorless by comparison. Dozens of wonderful flavor options available, like lemon, cherry, bailey's, and key lime. Also a great menu of fun food options like chili dogs and mini corn dogs.

We stopped today because there was not the usual Long line. Over 32 flavors of soft serve is the main attraction for me. I enjoyed a small Mango cone. The softserve ice cream is noticeably sweeter than Dairy Queen, But I enjoy the variety of flavors.

It was a great-weather MN Tuesday evening. They only have soft-serve ice cream, but it was yummy creamy, they had a lot of flavors and their menu includes a wife variety of other ice creamy treats with toppings as well. I had a medium cherry-dipped chocolate cone. I didn't feel cheated. They could update at least the outside of the place some, but it didn't look bad. There were a lot of people there enjoying their ice-cream treats.

It has been around for some years and is a main stay of the neighborhood . Parking lot has enough room for 8 cars . Come visit , youll be back .

I'm not a fan of soft serve ice cream, so I cannot give a fair review of the ice cream. Their slushies were decent a little in the syruppy side for my taste. There was a long line, but, they move pretty quickly so we didn't wait as long as I expected us to.

Yummy local spot for soft-serve ice cream! LOTS of delicous flavor options, very reasonably priced. Quick service; the line moves fast on busy hot summer days. Many size and serving style (i.e. cones, shakes, sundaes, etc.) options in mamy sizes... you can easily find something for everyone. Some food options as well; we've enjoyed cheese curds but haven't tried much else (we stick to the delicious ice cream). There is some outdoor seating or you can take your order to a nearby park. And, as long as you spend more than $5, you're welcome to pay with a card! This quickly became a warm-weather favorite for our family.

Such a fun place! Perfect for the summertime and for people who love variety. With so many soft serve flavors, slushes, smoothies, meal items and more, there’s plenty to choose from. It’s a bit of a wait, but well worth it! They prefer cash to electronic payment, but they will accept cards for payments of $5 or more. The only reason I didn’t give a five star review was their initial response when they realized they made my order incorrectly. I had ordered soft serve in a cup instead of a cone due to a wheat allergy, but they made it in a cone. When I informed them I had ordered it in a cup they first tried to dump the ice cream from the cone into the cup, and I had to tell them that the reason for my order was an allergy. Only then did they offer to remake it. Even so, I throughly enjoyed the ice cream once I got it, and they were quite kind.

Best soft serve I've ever had, and you'll have to try it to believe soft serve can be THIS great. My wife tried it for the first time Sunday, got the Amaretto, and was super impressed! I usually go with the French silk pie "freezie" (Blizzard), or creme de menthe, but I've also tried the blueberry -- I'm sure every flavor is awesome. They also have a nice selection of food also, for quite reasonable prices, like cheese curds (the good kind like the state fair has), burgers, hot dogs, etc. This place has seemingly been around forever and for good reason: They care about being your go-to local shop! I'm 38 and I remember going here in the 90s when I was in high school down the street.
