A really cool ice cream spot (a bit price IMO) - tons of fun flavors. My favorite is the “11” which is a spin off of the Stranger Things TV show - it’s a strawberry / waffle mix ice cream. Definitely an option to try!! We also got some henna done with their outdoor seating, super cool location. But it does have its own interesting and unique set of folks in their area.

Been on a low-cal diet for awhile and knew I wanted to have my birthday ice cream at Bebe Zito! I read about the place online and how talented the owner is, how good the ice cream tastes and about the cute love story that started this shop. I ended up getting the chocolate cone with an Animal Frosting ice cream scoop which was amazing!!! I also grabbed a scoop of “dads coffee” which had a strong coffee flavor and was nice, esp next to the super sweet Animal Frosting. Def planning to come abunch😅❤️ New favorite ice cream place 🙌🏼

Great ice cream! Lots of unique flavors and cone flavors. Highly recommend. Their vegan option (pictured) is SUPER good and very creamy. Highly recommend to stop by. The single scoop is PLENTY for me, so don’t go overboard. Outdoor seating to enjoy your ice cream as well.

I don’t live in Minneapolis anymore and I truly miss this place. Their ice creams are the best! When I recently visited Twin cities I went straight from the airport to grab some ice cream from here. During the pandemic I was a regular at their store. I have had all their chocolate based flavors with the BB chocolate being my all time favorite. It’s truly made for folks who want death by chocolate. Dulcineia and Pistachio are other favorites. Some ice creams places get the texture right and some get the flavor right, Bebe Zito is the only place where I think they got it both right.

Ok, so this is one of my absolute favorite ice cream shop in the Twin Cities! The only thing I'm upset about is that they are only offering the Breakfast Club flavor in pints this season :( I hope to be able to try that flavor sometime soon since I live too far away to purchase a pint. Otherwise, I really love the Animal Frosting flavor, even though it's SUPER sweet. But when you have a sweet tooth like me, it's right up your alley! Another great flavor was their Key Lime Pie! That one was the first flavor I ever tried from them and I still think about it even a year later. My partner tried the Dulcineia (not pictured) and I almost envied him over how good it was! The bottom line is.. go to Bebe Zito if you haven't already! Their ice cream is amazing! P.S. I apologize, but I can't remember what flavor of ice cream the pink/red one is in my photo beside the Key Lime Pie ice cream :(

Great ice cream and amazing flavours although a bit pricey. My hubby was hesitant about the cream cheese in the ice creams but he loved it!! We got the most popular Romeo and Julieta and it did not disappoint. In fact he even got a pint to go because he loved it so much!!

Every experience at Bebe Zito is always so sweet 🍦 Excellent service from knowledgeable staff, clean and reasonably priced for the location. Hurry in before October seasonal flavors are gone! I also recommend “the flight” so you can get a little taste of each flavor and it’s also perfect for sharing. Can’t wait to come back for another scoop (or flight) soon

Super friendly staff, ice cream is great - super creamy and very sweet. Very clean establishment as well! Burgers were outstanding in flavor, but I didn’t care for the garnishments. The outdoor seating is comfortable and fun to have your ice cream and burger! Will be back again sometime.

Bebe Zito - LOVED IT!!! We visited after seeing it in a TikTok review, and we needed to beat the heat on a hot day. We were very impressed! To make the most of our experience, we got a flight - 6 flavors for $18. It was well worth the price! Every flavor we tried was better than the last. We always like to rank our choices when we eat out, but this was nearly impossible. They were all delicious! Our faves were: Dat Malt Dough, Dulcineia and Peanut Butter Puppy Chow. It had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the friendly staff helped us make our choices, since there were so many flavors. We will definitely return, and we'll be recommending Bebe Zito to family and friends!

This burger might be the best one I have EVER eaten. The flavors were fresh and unique with clear thought into how this burger was constructed. Not only that, the ice cream! Holy cows! The different varieties are well crafted, and there is great distribution of flavors and toppings throughout. The flavors change through the year and you're always bound to try something new here! Service is good and the staff is friendly, it was just a little hard to hear inside with the freezers + mask combination.

Hands-down my favorite ice cream! They are truly dessert gurus with the creativity of taste combos and variety of aesthetic (and flavor-packed) toppings. I love how they involve the community in sharing the behind-the-scenes of how numerous of their iconic flavors came to be as well as crowd-sourcing the best name for certain flavors they are workshopping. Seasonal rotation of flavors can be good or disappointing or too sweet. This “becky’s pumpkin” was unimpressive, had a bit of a frozen yogurt effect. Wonderful color, but needed something more. There were chunks of cookie dough in it, but few in my cone. I might suggest adding pepitos (pumpkin seeds) to it, rather than the syrup which just didn’t work and got my hands extra sticky. The caipirinha is a great flavor, but also really sweet, but perfect for hot weather. The price per cone single scoop is higher than regular shops, but this is a special place well worth visiting for new tastes.

Loved it. Saw Ben on some of the morning shows and a couple times on the food network and figured we should check this place out. The reviews don't lie, this ice cream is delicious and we will definitely be back. From what it sounds like the burgers are well worth it too, hopefully next time. We were here late so we only were looking for ice cream. I had the Slam Dunkie and my wife had the the Dulcineia. It was really difficult to choose as there were so many different ones we wanted to try. The staff was quick and friendly. The little chairs and tables outside were awesome too have to enjoy our ice cream on such a nice night. Thanks again, can't wait to come back!

New favorite icecream place to replace Izzy's in my heart. They have fun and interesting flavors but I find anything with fruit in it to be especially amazing here for some reason? Strawberry Fields is sooooo good and I do not usually like strawberry icecream. They do temporary flavors. Their cheese curds are also amazing(I'm from Wisconsin and can authoritatively say I know good cheese curds). The decor is super cute too. And they do puppy cups if you bring a furry friend. Only wish there wasn't a smelly loud gas station across the street but what are you gonna do? Maybe some day it will be a noisy car charging station lol. It's a pretty convenient location.

Bebe Zito is a delight on Lyndale & 22nd; thanks to its colorful, innovative flavors to enthusiastic staff, I can't count how many times I've stopped in since discovering it. One thing to know about Bebe Zito: there are many more experimental and innovative flavors than a typical Rum Rasin, Rocky Road, etc., so if you're looking for the full traditionalist ice cream experience, temper your expectations. Having said that, Bebe Zito carries some basic flavors that are out-of-this world as well, so don't discount it if you just want some good Vanilla. I really appreciate the owners' and employees' drive to experiment with new creations because it really shows how much passion is behind this establishment. Another note: every server I've interacted with has been friendly and upbeat, which really adds to that happiness that a cup or cone of ice cream is supposed to bring. I know, you want a flavor recommendation: try out the Romeu E Julieta, a cream-cheese base with a bit of crunch and guava sauce. Also, don't miss the Bebe Burgers if they're available when you visit!

I visited Bebe Zito today and had a heavenly ice cream experience. I’d previously sampled a few of their flavors via prepackaged pint, but that was my first time stepping into their Uptown location. First of all, the Uptown shop is SO cute. I loved the decor and playlist. It had an effortlessly cool- yet welcoming- vibe. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful too. I tried both Romeu e Julieta and The Parent Trap. The ice cream was expensive, but it was worth every cent, in my opinion. If you enjoy big chunks of mix-ins in your ice cream, this will become your go-to spot. The Parent Trap had large pieces of Oreo, and it was the perfect sweet/salty treat. I enjoyed the notes of peanut butter and salted caramel too. It was like eating a high quality version of my favorite childhood cookies- Oreos and nutter butters- paired with the sophistication of salted caramel. The Romeu e Julieta was refreshing and so tropical. I loved the cheese cake vibe, the luxurious guava jam, and the ritz cracker crumbles. I love cheese cake with guava or passion fruit jam, so it really hit the spot. I previously tried their burgers at the Hudson Yards location, and they were delicious. They are a classic and juicy smash burger, and I would recommend those too. I can’t wait to go back to try more flavors at Bebe Zito.

Amazing food and Ice cream!!! The burgers were amazing!!! The variety of ice cream is to die for! This place is a great place for a casual night out or a late night snack. Do note the kitchen closes a certain time, you may want to call ahead if you're going late at night. They have a digital menu so very helpful for those who may need it. The vibe of the location is very different but super cool style, a New York kinda vibe. Very affordable! I would say its also family friendly due to the menu and ice cream options. They did have outdoor seating from what I saw. Can't wait to go again and check out new flavors. Also excited to try the chicken sandwich. It looked amazing on the menu.

Wow, amazing burger, can't be beat at this price. Burger and ice cream is the new dynamic duo! I had the pumpkin Becky, yet the lemon/yuzu combo was delicious and the Romeo y Julietta was also on point. No missed here, go and enjoy!

Had to stop by and check out if they burgers are as good as everyone has hyped them up to be. The Brisket Burgers were amazing! I personally could go without the sauce, it sort of reminded me of ‘In N Out, however it was still pretty good. The staff was very helpful ! The shakes were good just wish they’ll let you pick from more selections. Got there right on time before the line got to long so that was good, but they also extended the time they sell their burgers from Fri-Sun 12-9pm.

Some of the best ice cream in the Twin Cities! You will not be disappointed. Their flavor options are unlike any other ice cream shop in the area and you should check out the menu before you go. I highly recommend 24 Carrot Gold Cake which has big chunks of carrot cake and a tasty drizzle. So good. Seriously, stop reading this review already and go look at their menu. It’s subject to change, so make sure you try what you like while it lasts! Great atmosphere and friendly staff too. Instagrammable interior and plenty of outdoor seating. I can’t wait to try their burgers someday too.

Such a fun and whimsical ice cream shop! The Minneapolis ice cream scene is quite saturated, but Bebe Zito manages to shine through, thanks to their unique flavors, incredible seasonal offerings, and scrumptious burgers/chicken sandwiches. It doesn't hurt that the staff is friendly, caring, and always willing to help. The experience matches the delicious ice cream. No complaints!

This place is DELICIOUS. Normally I don't like super-sweet ice creams, but their flavors are so inventive and fun that everything just works! Plus they always have a few non-dairy flavors (not just sorbets) and theirs will knock your socks off. Not only is their ice cream phenomenal, but all their staff members are super friendly and patient, even when you take five minutes to order because you can't decide between flavors or have a million questions. A special shout-out goes to Kahlen who helped me with a custom to-go order over the phone for my friend to pick up when I tested positive and couldn't come in to the store–she even wrote me the nicest little get-well card! ❤️ 💜 Lots of love for this place.

Trendy vibe, wild flavor combos and good service at this ice cream shop. I found the ice cream I tried was good but overwhelmingly sweet (apparently I chose the sweetest ice cream they’ve ever made purely by chance) and slightly gritty after the toppings were added. If you are into sweet and aesthetically daring desserts you’ll like it here. Burgers (available only on weekends) are delicious. The outdoor seating is pleasant and a good spot for people watching.

Fun flavor combinations, from more standard (e.g. Marvelous Mrs Hazel, a hazelnut brownie flavor) to more adventurous (flavors including bone marrow nougat or grasshoppers--those were Halloween varieties!). In addition, the Bebe Zito branding was cute and on-point. The pricing is on the high side but appropriate given the quality of the ice cream and overall experience. I will be back!

Nice ice cream and sorbet available for lactose intolerance. Good food available and patio seating during summer. Parking is a little limited but you can park in neighborhood and walk. Very nice area and it has a cafe next door. Big portions and reasonable prices.

Parking is a b**** and mask restrictions are still in full effect (as of 6/2021) but the staff provides masks if you don't one and the service is excellent. I had the Romeo Y Juliett and it was DELICIOUS. So many other wonderful and colorful flavors I have yet to try but I'm sure I'll love them

Unique flavors and friendly service. I love this place! Haven't been able to try all the flavors, but the few I have had, I have been blown away. Most definitely adding this to places to go to when I have a craving for ice cream. Only negative would be limited parking, but there are areas you can park off-street and walk.

It was out first time coming here and we loved it! We got there at the perfect time, there was a very short wait. We ordered the Joia Meal, which is 4 burgers, a scoop, and a shake! The burgers are fantastic, that bacon and brisket patty is sooo good. Our 8 year old gobbled his up! They have really fun flavors of ice cream, we tried the key lime pie cheesecake and the slam dunkies in a shake. Both great choices. Can't wait to come back again. Expect a wait, but they move quickly and it's worth it! Also burgers are only available Saturday and Sunday right now.

I can not say enough great things about this place. You walk in and are immediately greeted (I stopped in on a whim after an appointment). I was beginning to get hungry so checked their burgers I ordered the Bebe burger and cheese curds. I grooved along to one of the most perfect playlists with some classic rock, fun alternative and just a fun vibe. The many people in and out seemed to know their order. I did end the meal with a split of ice cream. Great job greater ice cream!

If you are adventurous with your ice cream flavors, and enjoy trying new things and interesting combinations, you will be delighted with Bebe Zito! I have been twice, once for burgers (just the right size and just the right mix of condiments) and once for ice cream (the Animal Frossting is my favorite). It is a bit pricey compared to Sebastian Joe's, but less pricey than Milkjam Creamery IMHO, but it's a small business so you're supporting the neighborhood. I have a gift card that I'm looking forward to using in the near future.

Very unique flavors of quality ice cream! I had the 2 scoop of the Lemon Party and Dulcineia. I thought the price was a little high till I saw the size of the scoops, very large portions so very much worth the cost. I have a relative in the are so hope to stop and try more flavors soon!

The ice cream was good, but I wouldn’t pay $10 for it again. We got one scoop of ice cream and a waffle cone. It cost $5.50 for the ice cream and $2.50 for the cone. There are better ice cream stores in the neighborhood that are cheaper. Save your money and go to a different ice cream store.

This place is quite possibly one of the best ice cream shops in the entire Midwest or even the country. Not joking or exaggerating. This is Ice Cream in it's perfected form. The flavors are innovative and unique. This location, despite it's non-descript surroundings, packs quite the punch of good vibes when your foot crosses the threshold. Needless to say, it's a diamond in the rough.

Holy cow what a great new ice cream spot!! There were so many unique flavors to choose from that they make in small batches and the staff were very friendly and explained the flavors to us with patience. I chose Dat Malt Dough which was the best cookie dough ice cream I've ever had and the Pistachio Almond which they said is made with fancy pistachios that grow on the side of a volcano in Italy?! Both were highly recommended to us and did not disappoint. A single scoop with 2 different flavors was $5.75 and definitely worth it. The single was plenty of ice cream for me. They also have add- in options and sell pints of ice cream. Plenty of free street parking in front and on side streets and there are a few tables inside to sit at as well as tables and benches outside the shop. Can't wait to go back.

Tres Leches and Strawberry Churro The crunchy strawberry churro crumble is an nice contrast to the smooth cajeta and cow milk base. Though strawberry was in every part of the ice cream it never felt like a strawberry punching me in the face. It felt more like a warm hug by the aroma of strawberries from the oven. I’ll be trying the Peanut Butter Puppy Chow next :)

This review is limited to the ice cream. I love interesting and strange ice creams, but for whatever reason, Bebe Zito's flavors cant entirely deliver on the promises their descriptions make. This is the second scoop I've sampled. If you ever had it, you'll know that Portland's Salt and Straw is far superior. I'd recommend committing to a pint subscription before I'd splurge on a pint of BZ. Thems the facts, I'm quite sorry to say. Update: Both the cheese curds and the burger were quite tasty. Their savory food seem quite solid. That said, the price of the impossible burger is quite steep. If you're someone for whom impact of beef is a concern, I'd recommend other vegan and vegetarian snacks first. Third scoop in the form of the creme brulée was solid. Equally rich in spectacle and flavor, it might be enjoyed most if shared. Savory food gets four stars, ice cream gets something more like 3-4 depending.

After reading the galaxy Zagats review for best ice cream and burgers in the universe I tried bebe Zito with supreme expectations. I tasted the Brazilian Brigadeiro and immediately blacked out from the deliciousness. I’m quite certain that there does not exists a word to describe the flavor, but I will try: orgasmicaliocious. Yes, that will do. Have you had the burger? It was like being slapped by Jesus with hand puppet of lamb chop. Does this make any sense? Probably not until you try it, then and only then will you understand the accuracy of my description. 10/10 will definitely go back for the MSG Vanilla. I was told it cures racism.

While riding my bike around the city I was about to pass this spot and noticed a long line outside. Took a look at the sign on the building at quickly found out why the line was so long. Apparently hot weather and ice cream go hand and hand. Tried the strawberry milkshake and it was definitely a tasty treat we also had the sprinkled vanilla ice cream cups with color changing spoons the kids already planning on the next visit.

Was so happy to see this spot open after being interrupted by COVID. Great variety of unique flavors (Thai Tea Crunch pictured). Friendly and clean. They kindly offered people bottled water while they were waiting outside in the 91 degree heat. Can't wait to try more flavors. :)

Absolutely loved my experience. Such unique flavors of ice cream. It took a short bit to read all the descriptions of each flavor, but so worth it! I had the peanut butter.puppy chow and who knew you could capture the true taste of puppy chow in ice cream. And it was so creamy!! My wife had the Chocolate Wedding Cake with Raspberry Swirl and that was just as delicious. It is a tad bit speedy, but so worth it!! Highly recommend and looking forward to stopping by again sometime, hopefully soon!! Enjoy!!!

Despite living in the neighborhood for a few years, my husband and I finally tried their raved bacon cheeseburgers and they met / exceeded expectations! We tried the cheese curds as well, to our surprise, they were crisp and lightly breaded cubes. The burger was a bit greasy, however, we quickly devoured it's irresistibleness with perfectly melted cheese and inclusion of thick sweet (but not too sweet) pickles. Additionally, I was impressed by how the burger patty was served medium well (slightly pink and moist). We topped off our meal my picking up 2 scoops of "Fold in the Cheesecake" which was a great decision (Red velvet and Oreo base, with strawberry cheesecake cookie dough mix ins and strawberry swirl). We are definitely returning for more of their delicious food and impeccable service! A visit is highly recommended!

As a lover of both ice cream and burgers, Bebe Zito does both of them better than almost anywhere else. The burgers are probably the best I've ever had, flavorful and juicy with plenty of toppings. The ice cream flavors are unique and quite literally one of a kind, but really well made and delicious. I wish they had an ice cream flight or something so I could try a little bit of all their different creative flavors at once. They've mastered every menu item they have - it's ALL fantastic. I'll definitely be back soon to try the Thanksgiving flavors.

Customer service was superb and friendly. Ice cream taste great and the quality taste of the burger is authentic, not the fake beef you taste from grocery store or fast foods. I wasn't expecting to wait 15 mins for the burger but it’s worth the wait because they’re cooking it hot and fresh, not processed like McDonald’s/Burger King.

Everything here is a can’t miss. You’ll never find a place with better ice cream, food, or people. I cant express enough how LEGENDARY the ice cream here is! The MSG Vanilla is seriously BEYOND! Three stars for not having tajin on two occasions for a flavor that called for it, and I personally haven’t found a flavor that has been great enough for me to return to order it again and again.

In terms of ice cream, this is one of the best high end ice creams you can get in the Twin Cities. The flavors are original and the ice cream is very high quality compared to other "specialty" ice cream shops. My girlfriend and I have had their ice cream a few times and have enjoyed it every time. We tried the burger for the first time today (both got doubles) and they were soooo good! We couldn't go without reviewing them as they deserve all the praise!! The cheese sauce is something special as well as all the toppings and the meat was mouthwatering. I can't leave out that they had great service too. Everyone was very friendly!

Bebe Zito has good ice cream. The burgers looked delicious, but I didn't try them. The "Animal Frosting" ice cream was good, but the "Peanut Butter Puppy Chow" was better. Lots of unique flavors to try! I've also had the brown sugar shake, which was solid, but not amazing. I'll have to go back for a burger sometime and to try more of the ice cream!

This place was great! The ice cream was creamy and the flavors were funky and delicious. The chunks in the ice cream (like cookie dough and brownie) were huge and plentiful. The flavors are rotating and there were a few classics (vanilla, coffee) in case you weren't feeling too adventurous. The scoops were big, but not over the top, and the price was just right. Everyone in the store was friendly and informative. As a bonus, they have a parking lot and tons of free street parking. Highly recommend!

The line out the door was a good first sign. And it only took a few minutes to get inside and order. I went with the Breakfast Club malt (with Fruity Pebbles and Lucky Charms). But it took 17 minutes to get it for some reason. So it was frustrating to see many people who had shown up after I ordered walk in and out with their order all while waiting at a table outside. But once it finally made its way out to me, the malt was good - I'd wanted to try cereal in ice cream for a long time but the Fruity Pebbles was pretty overpowering. I think combining two cereals may be too much when one is going to flavor dominate the other. However, while it was tasty, it's not something I'd get again. And for $9 (!), it wasn't that big. So, while way overpriced and a long wait time, in the end it was all just...ok. I would probably try another local ice cream parlor in the future, but I'm glad I checked this one off my list.

I first tried this place 2 months ago and I was hooked. I've been back every week since. Everything I've had has been excellent, but the flavors with mix-ins really stand out. My favorites so far are Animal Frossting (it's like a deconstructed frosted animal cookie in ice cream form, and the sprinkles on top give it the perfect texture), Breakfast Club (it's a citrusy ice cream with marshmallows and Fruity Pebbles, but somehow the citrus ends up tasting exactly like the colored milk that's left after a bowl of cereal--you just have to try it), and Lemon Party (it's like a very tangy and flavorful blueberry cheesecake). The lines get long sometimes, but it's absolutely worth the wait. You can also get a split scoop for an extra dollar, which allows you to try two flavors at the same time.

Not the #1 best burger I've ever had, but wow it was good, and for the price in Uptown of all places, cannot complain. $7.95 for the double and it filled me up. Delicious. EASILY in the top 5 for me (COVID made so I haven't been many places lately though). The staff were very friendly, the quoted wait time was accurate, everything was just great. My only complaint- I couldn’t finish the immensely generous portions! I didn’t even want to let the ice cream stains around my face go to waste because every last drop was so mouthwatering! (The Fruity pebbles and spicy chocolate brownie made a great combination)! The staff makes you feel like you are friends they haven’t seen in a while- warmest greetings, suggestions, conversations and that is truly a heartwarming experience we crave during a time where it’s sadly easier to treat your job like a mundane task. The Bebe Zito staff seems genuinely happy to be there and have great safety and cleanliness methods in place. By far, this is the best ice cream place we’ve ever been to, made by two lovely locals who swiped right!

Okay, so I'll fully admit I kind of have an ice cream problem. It's not so much an "obsession" as a "crippling dependence." Bebe Zito is by far the best place to get an ice cream fix in the Twin Cities and I have tried just about everywhere. Probably multiple times. You can't go wrong with any flavor here, the ice cream has generous toppings and a crazy pull/chew texture that's just delicious. Plus, for the amount you get here, the price is really, really good. As someone who has eaten here 3x in a week (with my wife telling me we have to go back tomorrow because she should've gotten a second scoop of Lemon Party), I would say Bebe Zito has two more very loyal customers.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the pistachio almond ice cream which I purchased for takeout. There are no discernible pieces of nuts in the product, and I was pretty amazed to find that corn syrup was an ingredient in the ice cream. Nobody puts corn syrup in healthy products any longer. I'll gladly return to try other flavors, but I hope they will adjust their ingredients to reflect good heathy practices today.

So glad Bebe Zito has finally opened! The inside is adorable and the staff was incredibly kind and courteous and working hard to keep it all safe and clean. Sophisticated, but not intimidating, and with a generous scoop (the single for me was more than enough). They helped us pick out our choices expertly based on what we like and they picked out the perfect flavors for both of us. Lots of flavors with an interesting twist. Unique, custom flavors. I had a list of 7 flavors that I was considering when I arrived. Cups, cones and pints were options. Fairly well stocked with flavors for scoops when I went. My only complaints are the line (too much demand), too few pint flavors (too little supply, none of the 7 flavors I was looking for) and lack of parking (a bother if I'm not within walking distance).
