I took my grandsons here on Monday about 3pm and it wasn't busy. That was a good thing for us because we didn't have to wait. One grandson got a Large Mint Chocolate Chip Waffle Cone with Sprinkles. The other Grandson got a Large Superman Waffle Cone with Nerds on it. I got a Medium Peanut butter Banana Shake. It was all very delicious and hit the right spot for a hot day. If you haven't been here you should stop by for their delicious icecream 😋. They also have some food also.

I first visited 2 years ago when I was pregnant. I finally had the chance to bring my little and she loved her spongebob popsicle and I enjoyed the Blueberry soft serve (my favorite for the past few years!)

Love coming to Valley Dairy Freeze, so many ice cream options. Its always busy but their staff is super fast and friendly. We usually opt for sitting out but the drive thru option is pretty cool. This is the best spot in the area for ice cream bar none.

The food and desserts here are really good and the people that work here are nice. Some teenagers ordered some ice cream, but they were a little short on cash for it all. So one of the employees paid the rest so they all could get the ice cream they ordered. This is a really good place and I'm happy to give Valley dairy freeze a 5 star rating.

With the super abundant of flavors of shaved ice, shakes, malts and ice-cream Valley Dairy Freeze really blew my mind. In an amazing delicious way!! They even have an array of delicious food they serve. All the young ladies that worked there were super cute and sweet and professional. I have lived here in Louisville my entire life pretty much, why the hell I've never visited this place is blastophem. Do plan on returning as many times as possible before this summer comes to an end, because they are seasonal.💋

Finally stopped here after having this location saved for months. I'm not sure why we waited so long! We will absolutely be back here. The atmosphere was great, the workers were extremely helpful, and our orders came out quickly. We all loved our ice cream, and there was a ton of options to choose from! I have never seen so many soft serve options before. I got chocolate dipped coconut soft serve, others got chocolate dipped peanut butter soft serve, and kids got superman. We will be back!

Pretty good place to get a scoop of ice cream with that classic feel of stopping at one of the local ice cream places. Great flavors and friendly staff, it can get kinda sticky and messy during the busy summer nights with everyone letting ice cream melt/fall. They do clean all that up every night, just be aware of a few melted ice cream spots on the ground and tables.

The ice cream here is phenomenal!! The service was exceptional..very sweet girl at window!! They have anything you could want...fries, pretzels, nachos, hot dogs. We had a group of 6 and our puppy Oreo. It was Super Hot out. They were fast getting our order out. They even have a Pup Cup...how cute is that???...I had A tin roof Flurry and an "old school" slush puppie" Both were excellent!!! You should definitely go here if you have not been..well worth the trip!!!!!

I love this place! They have a great selection of sweets and food and drinks. I've never been disappointed by anything I've bought. The staff is great too! My only complaint is that there is never enough staff! Those poor workers bust their butt to get orders in and made. It usually takes a while to get your order but they are always so nice!

Tonight must be an off night. All the serving sizes are smaller than they were 3 days ago, the caramel tastes burnt and they don’t know the difference between pralines and cream and pistachio. I ordered a one and sadly got the other. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is that they are normally a 5 star kind of place.

This is the only place that makes a peanut butter and banana milkshake the right way!! I have had all kinds of different flavors and I have never disliked any of them. Best ice cream place around. Not to mention they come to my son's school and make snow cones for the kids on field day and for teacher appreciation week they come to the school and have an ice cream sundae bar. YUMMY

It's like a blast from the past here!! Took my baby cousin (not so much baby any more--he is fourteen) here for ice cream one afternoon and it even got him to look up from his phone ( if only for a moment). Last time I was here I was enjoying my large strawberry shortcake milkshake while sitting on one of the nicely maintained picnic tables. There was an employee nearby enjoying her break. Suddenly, I had to fart really bad. I tried my best to hold it in. Eventually, I let out a super long high pitched squeeker. I looked over, she was looking at me. I started playing music with my straw. She didn't say a word. 5 stars

We have not been here for a while so we thought we'd eat there for a quick lunch. The fryer was down so 80% of the menu is off limits. Out of chicken for sandwiches .we ordered burgers. They microwaved the burgers. I was watching yet it didn't have a bad flavor yet not a fan of microwave burgers. The ice cream...delicious!

The drive through is pretty fast, the front window can take a little longer, but still not a long wait. I would rather wait a little longer and go local than save a few minutes and go to a chain!

Great treats. Go there all the time. Only complaints are that the drive through is painted white and blinds you in the afternoon. Other is that they don't know how to properly fill cones. They fill the icecream to the outside edge instead of the inner circle. They cover the holes that collect the drips as it melts so you get your hand covered in ice cream and it drips everywhere right when you get it.
