I finally found self serve frozen yogurt. I am glad that I found this place. Very small and simple, and in fact, I was tad of overwhelmed because of so much choice and find the flavors to go with. But the frozen yogurt that I created was so yummy! And also this spot is perfect for a date night to share ice cream or hang out with friends. Their price is very reasonable. Just pay in cup and not weight. Thats why I love it! Go and check this place out!

This was our first visit here, and we loved their frozen yogert! The flavors were varied and delicious. Unlike some other yogert businesses, you choose a portion size and pay only one price for it no matter how many toppings you put on top. They had indoor and outdoor seating, and even though the inside was rather small and crowded with customers, the service was quick and efficient. We will definitely return!

Absolutely frickin fantastic! The pomegranate raspberry sorbet haunted me in my dreams until I went back for more it was so good. This super cute place was easy to get in and out of excellent customer service and reasonable prices so that you feel like you can really support a local business doing it right. I highly recommend it as a " treat yo' self " place and an excellent place to flex your ability to " pick where we go " with your friends who will be super impressed when they eat that first bite. I would give it 100 stars if I could.

This is my favorite ice cream place. The frozen yogurt is delicious. Especially, the island banana flavor. The caramel mini turtles are a good topping. The staff is always friendly.

The very best frozen yogurt around!! Open 12-9 S-T and 12-10 Friday and Saturday. The only one I know of that charges by the size of the cup, toppings included. Super clean friendly staff!!!

Louisville weirdly lacks frozen yogurt shops. Maybe it's just a regional thing that people don't eat it here...idk. this is a small shop with only like 10 flavors, but they were delicious and the service was good. Will definitely be back even though it's not close to my house

Best froyo in Louisville, for the best price! Sweet Savannah’s is amazing, the whole store has a cute, colorful, beachy vibe. The froyo is delicious, and they have dietary information for all the flavors posted on the wall. We got 2 medium cups for just $11, and you don’t pay by weight. I would recommend this fun and inclusive store to everyone!

2022 update: one of the few places where service is still great after covid. Great atmosphere, great froyo. 2019: Very friendly service and yummy froyo. I like that you pay by the cup size rather than weight, so there's not a big surprise after the kids add toppings.

This is a place my family loves to go to have a sweet treat. Be reasonable prices and a great selection of frozen yogurt and sorbet. For such a small place their toppings bar is a very nice spread. The staff is the sweetest in the frozen dessert game. Try them out.

I've been a big fan of Sweet Savannah's since they first opened in the Jefferson Mall location in 2011 (? don't remember the exact year, but 2011 sounds right). Was sad to see them being forced out of that location, but very glad that Jo Ann (the owner) persisted and reopened in a new location in Taylorsville Rd. A+ on everything - froyo and toppings selection, coziness and cheerful atmosphere, plus a whole bunch more things if froyo is not something you are after. Wishing you many more years in business!

Took the little one there on Wednesday. I had no idea they existed. I had always gone to orange leaf before the pandemic. Since their closing I was forced to find another yogurt Cafe. This one is so cute. The service was great. The cashier was very nice to my little one.

Froyo is delicious! Staff is super friendly and the place is very clean! Not expensive. This Froyo is not based on weight. You pay for the size you want and then they add your toppings. You can load your froyo however you want. Great selection of toppings, fresh fruit, drizzle‘s, sprinkles, and such. This place by far out ranks any ice cream place I have been to in Louisville

A nice addition to the Jefferson town area. Variety of flavors and toppings to satisfy a craving for sweets without loading up on fatty milk based product, frozen yogurt is great here. I'm not sure when anyone will read this but right now there is a watermelon fro-yo that is a perfect profile to the real thing. Your can even but an edible spoon for about thirty cents. This is a great option to the plastic waste we see so many places. You can also get fair trade coffee here. I saw that they offer fro-yo beads, small micro spheres of delicious frozen goodness. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Friendly staff and a very clean business.

Astounding variety of "free" toppings. Even though you pay much more for the frozen yogurt, it's still well-worth an occasional trip. One down side: the yoghurt, itself, is very, very sweet. So bring your sweet tooth.

This is an adorable shop with great yogurt and toppings that my grandsons were thrilled to choose! The owner let both of them have a small cup of toppinga separate from their yogurt bc the little one is picky and the older one didn't want to be left out. They charge a FLAT price for each of their various bowl sizes (it's not by weight, like most places), so you can pile on whatever you want without worrying about what it's going to cost you. There was a nice, friendly young woman working behind the counter when we were there. Nice little place.

They have really great froyo flavors there. Not too much of a selection, but they have an interesting selection of toppings to make up for it. And they're probably the only froyo place that charges by cup size and not by weight, which is really interesting. Best of all you're supporting local, which is always a good choice. I don’t usually take the time to post reviews (though I’m guilty of not picking a place until I’ve read EVERY review 🤦🏻‍♀️), but felt the need to do so tonight. My family and I googled “ice cream near me” when 🍊🍃 closed earlier than it’s advertised hours, and decided on Sweet Savannah’s. What we found was a family owned spunky little gem of a shop with an even sweeter owner serving up our toppings. About 8 different flavors of yogurt, plus the option of swirling them, and ALL the toppings you can imagine-from fresh fruit to chocolate chip cookie dough scoops, sprinkles, and everything in between. 3 of us got medium size cups, which cost us just over $20. Cost is per cup, NOT weighed, so that’s always a plus, because let’s be honest: we all wanna cram as much sweet goodness in those cups as possible 😆. Great music playing, cute sitting areas inside and out, brightly colored walls-just an all around fun vibe!! If you’re looking for an alternative to the chain type places, trust me when I say you won’t regret trying something a little off the beaten path. Oh, and they also have Dippin’ Dots!

Plus, they don't weigh the cups so whatever you can get in the cup is yours to enjoy! Plenty of shaded / partially-covered outdoor seating. Very nice atmosphere near the J-Town square. Had such a great experience last time that we came back. This time there were different workers but they still made our experience great!! I bought 4 large cups, an x large cup, a waffle cone, and a large dipping dots. The froyo tasted amazing and of course the dipping dots were just as good. The store was clean and they are doing their part in trying to stop the spread of Covid. I will be back again

Not like other froyo places. They charge by the container size instead of the weight. You do not pay extra for toppings either. The owner also cares about the environment, offering edible cookie spoons that are also biodegradable if you don't feel like eating them. No plastic spoon needed. Save money and the planet at the same time. Dietary Restriction Notes: Not safe for celiac sufferers. The topping bar has cookie dough and chocolate chips right next to each other. Not safe for those with nut allergies for similar reasons. There is always one dairy-free sorbet option for vegans, and they also sell Italian Ice.

This is the perfect end to eating out before returning home. The ice cream, yogurt, and other offerings change regularly and are always flavorful. The cost is set by the size of the container only. The number of toppings and other add ones do not increase the cost, and the choice of add-ons are enormous.

Friendly service, COVID precautions and measures are observed. Worker was wearing a mask. You dispense your own fro-yo. You then ask the worker to scoop the toppings into your cup rather than everyone handling the serving scoops/ free access to all of the toppings. Probably much more sanitary this way.

We had an issue when ordering through door dash that one of our ice creams got left out. The manager herself drove it to our house. That’s real customer service. The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. Being a diabetic I was trying to find nutrition info to stick to my diet plan which an employee directed me to, on top of offering me an ingredients list if I wanted it. The froyo was really tasty, and inexpensive. The restaurant was clean and cozy. All and all a fantastic find. I would recommend it to anyone in the Jtown area. Make sure to keep a Vigil eye when navigating there though the sign and store front are easy to miss.

New favorite froyo place! There's less of a variety of flavors and toppings than some of the others around town, but the toppings are fresh and the flavors are great. There's also dippin dots as an option and fresh bananas available for banana smoothies. You pay a flat rate for each size of container, instead of by weight, so if you're an expert at tetris-ing toppings into a tight space, it is quite worth the $$. The only thing I wish they had was the plain tart flavor of froyo.

SWEET SAVANNAHS HAS THE BEST FROYO EVER!!!! I’ve been going there since I was like 8 or 9- I’m currently 14 about to turn 15 in June. But yes the staff are so friendly and nice!!! I love it they have so many different toppings and some very tasty flavors of froyo they not only have froyo but they have dippin dots YUMMY!! I love dippin dots they have coffee, and drinks. If you every want to go to a froyo shop I really recommend Sweet Savannah’s they’re amazing😋😇😇

Sweet Savannah Frozen Yogurt is a delightful little place on Taylorsville Road. We've driven by this place dozens of times and finally decided to visit on a Sunday afternoon for a mid-day snack...plus, Jim had a sweet tooth that needed to be addressed. Sweet Savannah's is a small place with just a handful of tables. The snackery (I just made that up) is decorated in bright shades of pink and blue. There are 4 machines with 8 different flavors of froyo and sorbet. If you're feeling daring, each machine also has a spot to mix both flavors in that machine in equal portions. One of the things that makes Sweet Savanna's different from most froyo places is that they don't charge by the weight, but by the cup you purchase. If you purchase a medium sized cup, that's the price you pay. You can pile things up as high as you can and it won't cost extra. Pretty nifty, given that you'd get charged more elsewhere. They have a good variety of toppings, also. Fresh fruit and berries, mushed and mangled candy bars and assorted sweets, and several syrups to enhance your already sweet endeavour. The possibilities are, quite literally, endless. (Ok, you could put your Mathematician hat on and do some 4th year algebra with a slide rule, a calculator, and and an abacus to come up with the exact number but...really...why?) For me, it always comes down to berries. Strawberry Froyo topped blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries. The girl that was working was friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had. When not taking care of us she was busy stocking and cleaning, and the place was very clean and well-stocked. The decorations are thematically on-point, with my favorite pieces being the two clocks made up of color ice cream spoons. They also offer hot chocolate, coffee, and Dippin' Dots. Seriously, if you walk in this place with a sweet tooth that needs to be addressed and it's not satisfied, it's not their fault. Just look around! Everything you need is right there!
