I've enjoyed Graeter's pints from the grocery store but had never been to a stand-alone location. Definitely worth it. The store was slammed the day I visited, but staff worked though the lines quickly. Their fresh icecream is soft and creamy. If yoy get a flavor with chocolate chips, know their chocolate pieces really melt in the mouth. I'll likely stop by again.

The staff here are as great as the ice cream! Don't skip the patio out front, great tables and fun people-watching on summer evenings. I just wish I could say the same about some of the customers. I've never been to a shop where people are so likely to cut you in line and act like they don't realize it.

Delicious Ice Cream! When another place failed to sell me ice cream ("I'm only doing ice cream for mobile orders right now") I searched for ice cream in Louisville because I had promised my 7 year old ice cream after dinner. Luckily Google lead me to Graeter's! The ice cream is delicious and not only were the staff kind, but every customer was nice as well! We got recommendations from different customers. My daughter picked mint chip because she loves the flavor, and since so many people seemed to love it I got the black raspberry chip even though I hadn't initially planned to partake. It's fabulous! If you want ice cream (or just something sweet) in Louisville you won't go wrong with Graeter's!

Graeter’s seriously impressed us with their above and beyond service. Haley was probably the best ice cream scooper across the nation, haha. She gave us all her suggestions, gave us samples, made my boyfriend’s ice cream into a smiley face, and even brought a flyer of lactose free ice creams! Their ice cream was delicious and the service made Graeter’s such a happy place. We will definitely be getting our ice cream fix from here 😊

I have been to more than one Graeter's location, and I prefer this one. Very clean and bright, and they're taking the right amount of precautions with COVID. They've restricted access to the counter, so be prepared to make your choices from the menu- which was a little tough for my kiddos but the team they had was very helpful and patient. Delicious ice cream, heaping scoops, and a great little area to sit outside. Their parking lot is a little small but don't let that deter you, it looks like most people are calling ahead so it is very efficient. If you're in the mood for a sweet treat, I definitely recommend.

A little expensive, but very good. The inside was very clean, and organized. It was very busy even at 9:30 at night, and I understand why, but we did not wait very long to get what we wanted. We were even offered samples to try, so you knew what you were getting, and knew it tasted good.

The ice cream is wonderful! When we arrived the parking lot was full and there was a line to get ice cream that stretched to the door. Despite this, we did not wait long. I had the black raspberry chip which I always get because it's so good. My daughter had a scoop of cookie dough and something else that had a cookie in it, on the sprinkle cone of course. She said they were both good, but did not finish the entire cone. Outdoor seating is available. Service is fast.

Great ice cream. Even though there is no dining in, the patio has a few outdoor tables in a fenced in area. There is a gate attached so can take your pup in the area. They sell pup ice cream so you can both enjoy eating your own at the same time.

My favorite place for my favorite ice cream. This location has undergone a much-needed renovation since my last visit. It's a huge improvement. Now, it's a nice place to sit and enjoy a treat. Graeter's is the kind of regional company that used to be featured a lot on Food Network, and The Cooking Channel, back before they started focusing on competitions. I recommend the strawberry shakes, made with vanilla ice cream and strawberry sauce. Anything with their chocolate "chips" is really good too. A lot of their seasonal flavors are top-notch as well. They have cakes and candies as well.

Graeter's is some of the best ice cream I've ever eaten(and believe me, I've had quite a bit!), and I will never get tired of their Buckeye Blitz flavor. The chocolate ice cream alone is heaven, but then they add bits of peanut butter cookie dough and huge chunks of dark chocolate. My 2-year-old son loves the cotton candy and they always decorate his with a silly face and sprinkles. There's a new seasonal flavor every month if you want to be adventurous. I have yet to try their malts and shakes that they offer ar their locations but I'm betting they're delicious.

Love how Graeter's has amazing ice cream and although they are a chain they manage to make it seem old-timey. Check out their monthly and seasonal flavors as some of them are VERY good. Especially the key lime pie and the blueberry pie flavors.

Great ice cream, especially for chocolate lovers. Limited selection of non-chocolate flavors, but all very tasty. The store is always clean with a friendly family atmosphere. The outdoor seating is enclosed with a strong metal fence, which is a big plus for customers with small children!

I was really impressed with the guy working the door, he was able to keep everyone at a safe distance during these weird times and also direct me out of the parking lot after I parked weirdly. The milkshakes were great and so was the customer service all while maintaining social distancing. Love this place and will be back!

Graeter's was on our way to another location. We stopped by to quickly get some ice cream. We were waited on right away. The employee went right to work prepang what we had ordered. In a few minutes we were enjoying our malts. Mine tasted excellent. Just the right thickness and texture.

Recently renovated, Graeter's has really friendly people and very good, if not excellent, ice cream. It's probably my favorite ice cream, creamy, and just the right amount of sugar. If only they'd stock my absolute fav, coconut chocolate chip! Bonus, they have the best malted shakes around!

This is high quality ice cream! Other ice cream shops add too much sugar in my opinion but not Graeter's. I also have a low tolerance for preservatives and additives in ice cream but no need to worry about that here only fresh ingredients used in this ice cream. Highly recommend

My all time favorite ice cream place. Chocolate coconut almond chip is my all time fave flavor. No ice cream like Graeters! Update: 12/31/2018 I love Graeters ice cream but today I had a disappointing experience at the St Matthews store. The young woman behind the counter was rude and rolling her eyes at me when I questioned about the TINY scoop of ice cream she served my daughter. One of the things I appreciate about Graeters is the nice size portions they have always served. At $3.75 a scoop, we got ripped off. I will be talking with the kind manager who is usually working the next time I see her.

I'm a giant fan of Graeter's Icecrean, but this location doesn't seem up to the quality of the Cincinnati locations. A double scoop at this location is the size of a single around the Cincinnati area. Besides this, the flavors and location of this Graeters is nice and clean.

Snoobs Dinkledge Wimplesnatch here, I am just saying that this establishment is ran by witches and various spectres of the night. I have conducted a private investigation of my own to find this information. Turns out, the ice cream is made by little goblins and ghouls and i was honestly flabbergasted, to be quite frank, I sharted. 4/5, I found it a europhoric experience and accidentally ate the paper on the cone. When I ate the paper a gnome come out of my stomach Alien style and started harassing me and that’s why one star was deducted.
