Absolutely delicious coffee, and on National Coffee Day too! We mainly came for the coffee, but the ice cream was good too! I had a bourbon caramel cold brew and it was heavenly. The affogato was also delectable. And the prices were so refreshingly reasonable!

This place is a must-stop if you’re in town as a tourist! Quality ice cream, locally owned, and charming. They have chalk for kids to use on the patio area out front and a giant map to pin where you came from on the wall inside. Tip the girls that work there! They work hard!

We each had a cup of ice cream (many delicious flavors available). The decision was difficult, but I ended up with Sea Salt Caramel Toffee. My husband choose Blueberry Cheesecake. We were both very delighted. The Velvet ice creams are the best. We will definitely come back any time we are nearby. Very clean inside & outside. The place is decorated so cute also. Excellent customer service too!

We stopped in for some ice cream while staying at the nearby RV park. Both of the ladies working, mother and daughter were both very friendly and inviting! A very good coffee shop where I least expected it. Very pleasantly surprised! The redeye and Americano was well made but surprising that they didn't serve cappuccinos. I'd highly recommend them to folks that are looking to have a decent cup of coffee.

What an amazing find! Open during off season! Since Cave City Creamery was just a short walk from my motel I decided to check it out. I needed caffeine! The coffee was great and the service was amazing. They even have a custom pup cup for your canine companion! Fun and friendly!

Good ice cream and a cute shop. After reading several reviews I decided on the salted carmel in the waffle cone. It was soo good but very rich. Highly recommend the waffle cone. The rest of my crew had vanilla, dutch chocolate and butter pecan &cashew. The servings were very generous and staff was nice.

We stayed in Cave City, KY and the ice cream shop was near our motel. The ladies that served us were friendly and genuinely interested in hearing about our visit. It was a local hangout but a good mix of local and Mammoth Cave travelers. There was plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy ourice cream. .

They serve Velvet ice cream from Utica, Ohio. Menu includes cones, cups, sundaes, shakes, banana splits and a 3 or 4 flavor sampler. Delicious. Four tables with umbrellas outside and a handful of tables indoors. Friendly and helpful staff.

This place is a delightful secret tucked away behind Cracker Barrel. The ladies were very nice and helpful. One, who I believe was the owner (could be wrong), was telling us all about where everything came from and where she trained as a barista. They use Seattle coffee, ice cream from Utica, and local milk. The ice cream was wonderful! I had Sea Salt Caramel Toffee and Strawberry Cheesecake. My son had Cookies and Cream and Strawberry Cheesecake. It's a toss up which one was the best. My son also had a cold brew coffee with vanilla added. I don't drink cold brew but OH MY GOODNESS! I would drink that! He said it was the best he's ever had. I highly recommend this little gem.

This was such a great find for travellers!!! The staff was friendly. I got the Afogato which is vanilla ice cream with espresso poured over the top. I added sea salt caramel. It was AMAZING. They had excellent ice cream. Their Flight option is great for people that couldn't decide on what flavor they wanted. You could get 3 flavors or 5 flavors. The cookie dough, strawberry cheesecake, coffee, and vanilla flavors were all awesome. The prices were perfect as well. Such a perfect mix for coffee and ice cream lovers.

I'm so glad we have this gem in our community. We stopped in this afternoon for a couple of scoops & it was fantastic!!! I had the Carmel sea salt & my husband had the peach. This is the best ice cream I've had in quite some time. Indoor & outdoor seating. Staff is welcoming & kind. Chalk is available outside to create sidewalk art...love it!!!! If you're visiting the area you must stop by for a scoop!!

We were visiting the area for the Caves. We were looking for a good ice cream place and this fit the bill! All of our ice cream flavors were great. Favorites included American Firework, Summer Peach and Mint Chocolate chip. Super fun for the kids to watch them make their waffle cones too! We may come back more than once in this 5 day trip!

Clean Fun Place to stop while in the area. They offer samples. The kids enjoyed it. The surrounding area is a RV friendly. Has outdoor dining and a drivethru. Had some Harvest Host flyers. A bicycle pump was inside just in case you cycled there from the trails. Clean rest rooms

Awesome local ice cream place! We were on our way home from Florida and stopped at this exit. We were exhausted and walked over to dinner first and froze to death at McDonalds, but I still wanted ice cream. The kids and I walked over for ice cream and enjoyed every minute of it. The employees were extremely nice and got all the orders right and fast. The ice cream was exactly as I expected it. It was delicious!!!

The parking lot is a little too small but oh well. There is however parking on the road. Overall it was a super great experience. The ladies that run this shop are very lovely people. There isn't a big menu but their ice cream is yummy. We had a banana split with raspberry chip, s'more, and Dutch chocolate. It was the best ice cream that we've had in years. We also had a cup of vanilla ice cream and it was very good.

I love the CCC! The cutest local spot run by an awesome mother-daughter-duo. The ice cream flavors are amazing, the service is quick/friendly, and their outdoor space is great. Service was great! The owner is sweet as the ice cream she serves. My boyfriend and I truly loved the ice cream. We each got a flight with three scoops. I got the caramel crunch, peanut butter cup, and the black walnut. ALL FOR $4. 😋 My boyfriend got the butter pecan, salted caramel toffee, and the banana cream pie. Our total was $8 and we got a lot of ice cream! The peanut butter cup ice cream is to DIE for. The chocolate base with peanut butter in it makes it tastes exactly like a Reese cup in ice cream form. Next visit down to Cave City, we will for sure come down and purchase some ice cream again. 😄😄

My wife and I happen to be staying in the Comfort Inn across the street from Cave City Creamery. We had just finished and outstanding cave tour experience at nearby Mammoth Cave and were craving ice cream but NOT at tourist stop prices. Arriving back in Cave City we spotted Cave City Creamery and stopped in. We could not have been happier that we did. The owner was very friendly and the ice cream (from a creamery in Ohio) was much better than what is usually experienced in touristy areas. In addition to that the prices were reasonable, and the serving size exceptional.

And he mentioned ice cream, so I surprised him and brought him here. Boy, oh boy! What have I got started?!
