After cutting through the hype this is really just an average frozen yogurt shop. Vanilla custard was good and I had topping of chocolate chip cookie dough and birthday cake. Cookie dough was fine but the birthday cake had an odd rosewater flavor. Would I go back? If I was in the area perhaps but otherwise no.

Love this place! Im from out of town and make it a point to visit here a couple times each trip. I like getting a few different flavors of frozen yogurt and then packing it with cookie dough and brownie. Its not very clear how much toppings cost or if any are included. I feel like ive been overcharged a couple times, the staff is not very friendly. Parking can be kinda tricky, they have a lot but its small and shared. There is a side street with meters. Cash only!

The fro-yo here is good, however I found the ordering experience to be a little confusing. There wasn’t a clear instructions of how many toppings are complimentary (btw none is complimentary), and how much I had to pay to get toppings. The music was really loud so I couldn’t hear anything that the employee was saying. The store has a cool retro vibe but a bit too traditional for me.

Late night hours are definitely a plus! Great for winter when the sun is setting earlier. I can't feel cold but I don't know about you guys LOL the parking lot is small and usually packed so I suggest parking somewhere else and walking

Fun vibe and overall good experience, just didn't love it enough to give more than 3 stars. I would get the mother's cookie flavor again, but pass on the non-dairy mounds flavor next time. CASH ONLY with ATM on site.

Actually LOVE that they had healthy options - It was inclusive!! It made me order even more goodies to take home... We love Edueimar! He is wonderful. We came back 3 times just to see him. He is absolutely an asset to wgat you have going on. I work in tourism and customer service on catalina island. Headed over to the Bigg Chill with some of my co-workers for a midday break, this was the perfect, somewhat guilt free snack on a hot day. I ordered the dairy-free chocolate cinnamon frozen yogurt with Oreo cookie dough and brownie pieces, it was SO GOOD! I love that they have several dairy-free options, most places narrow to you one option. The chocolate cinnamon was good but not overly sweet like many other froyo flavors. I liked that my base was subtly sweet because I went for it with my toppings! We all got some variation of cookie dough, I liked the Oreo, one coworker got the confetti cookie dough and wasn't too fond of it but I didn't try it myself. Overall I enjoyed my first experience here, can't wait to come back and try a different combo! Thank you, Bigg Chill!

This place has been around for as long as I can remember. I came here with my parents as a kid. They have amazing frozen yogurt and even have a dairy free flavor as well as gluten free goodies for sale! It is never not crowded here but it is well worth the 5-10 minute wait in line for this yogurt! Come by and see for yourself.

Texture and flavor is truly as good as yogurt could ever get. Their toppings are creative and delicious (funfetti cookie dough, pictured here). Line gets long, but the staff is impressively efficient. Minus one star bc it’s loud AF. Even on a weeknight. Try and go at off hours if you enjoy conversation with your yogurt buddy.

They were really nice!! Enjoyed the spot. They only had one vegan soft serve flavor which is a little bit of a let down - why not make them all vegan or at least half vegan so we can save the planet and animals? The vegan option they did have was not great. Not bad, not great. The thing that sets this place apart from any other froyo in LA is the vegan cookie dough you can add as a topping. I think there are more cookie dough flavor options than yogurt—seriously. I live in silver lake and it was worth the 40 min (each way) drive.

When I was first told about this place, I didn't think it would be any better than any of the other frozen yogurt places that I frequent but was I ever wrong! There's a reason there's always a line outside this place. Their flavors change on a somewhat regular basis but honey Greek is amazing. By the way, they only take cash and parking is pretty bad there as well but it's all well worth it

5 stars because I think it's gross that people who have never even been here are coming by to give a low rating because a celebrity had a "pick me" moment and forgot that people with diabetes/auto immune disorders exist. Do better people. This is an awesome small business that has credit well deserved. The staff IS nice and the treats ARE delicious. There are many legit reviews that represent this place for what it is. Some of you need to grow up and quit trying to kill a small business that did nothing wrong. Diabetics have a hard time getting good treats and this place has it for the community.

Honestly never been there because I live on the other side of America, but if I ever find myself in the area, I will for sure be stopping by! I love the way you stood up for yourselves and are just continuing to provide a wide variety of options for a wide variety of customers. Great place. It’s sad to see a celebrity bash a place for having sugar free foods. As someone who has had an eating disorder, what she is complaining about makes no sense. The world doesn’t revolve around you. Not everyone can eat sugar. Some people may just prefer to not eat sugar. Not everything is about you, diet foods don’t need to stop being made for your triggers. This place is amazing and has great service.

Discovered a great place this week. The staff was so friendly and really helpful. Ended up purchasing a multitude of the cookie options, absolutely delicious. Me and my 8 year old sister were licking our fingers in the back of our car. So good! 10/10 would recommend.

Anyone "triggered" by sugar free options isn't worth listening to. Not only do diabetic people exist, but those of us who just want to avoid sugar occasionally want something sweet to enjoy. We're at a point in society where we are celebrating weakness and a lack of coping skills. Healthy diets are NOT toxic! Entitled celebrities (and their stans) are very toxic! Amazing place has options for everybody! It really disgusts me to see a celebrity bash this place because of a sugar free cookie that they offer. That's like going into the grocery store as a former alcoholic and getting upset that they sell alcohol because it triggers them. Just coming to support a small business, they’ve been going through it clearly. Also I love the Lenny and Larry Cookies! So please do not let this influence you guys to stop serving them & supporting this brand because it’s taken forever to finally get them here in NC. My family is vegan & we always ordered them off Amazon but the first time we saw them in a Sheets gas station was so rewarding! It’s really hard to find food here that accommodates to us & I hope businesses don’t take words of entitlement to heart & stop serving some of our favorites. We love an inclusive place owned by women. First off, 5/5 stars, this place was bomb. I have diabetes so I can't tell you how amazing it was to go to a place that has *safe* options for me. Have been going here for years and appreciate their excellent customer services, various dietary-friendly treats, and delicious frozen yogurt. Some people think the world revolves around them and businesses need to cater but as a business that has been around for decades, The Bigg Chill takes care of all of its customers. My grandmother lived next door and was diabetic. It was such a relief to have a place so close that we could take her to and enjoy a fantastic desert with her. It was her favorite place and is still one of ours.

AMAZING! Love this place amazing yogurt and caters to customers with all different needs. As someone who has to watch sugar intake (prediabetic) I appreciate the offerings. There are other medical conditions that necessitate reducing things like fat in diet so all the options are super helpful. Small frozen yogurt place; very popular, so parking in the small lot can be a pain, but God rotating flavors; chill berry is literally a tart yogurt flavor with a different consistency, perfect with the granola topping, especially if you're not a huge sweets fan. The small size was the perfect amount for me. Very cool neon sign on the inside as well! Cash only, but there is an ATM on the inside.

The fact that this place serves sugar-free options to those wanting that specifically is pretty cool! Definitely not “diet-culture vultures” in this establishment! Price is quite reasonable for size Small is $5.00 Medium is $5.50 Large is 6.50 But a downfall (specially now a days) is they are only accepting cash. They do have an ATM inside. They don't have too many favors to choose from but the ones they do have are just amazing and you can choose up-to 3 toppings. The service is fast. There is always a line but it's worth the wait.

I appreciate that this place is welcoming, warm, and dietary aware. Thank you for offering multiple options for multiple diets. Some people simply cannot have sugar. 5 stars for understanding there are other people on this planet that like froyo and sweets, and some that simply just want a sugar free cookie sometimes.

I don’t eat gluten or dairy, but I love my desserts and I try to eat as healthy as I can. If a certain type of food or what ever triggers you, then just don’t buy it...... Wow, I loved the nostalgic feel— you can feel the mom and pop in the shop. ! CASH ONLY ! I got a SM vanilla custard with rainbow sprinkles and fruity pebbles. The airiness and flavors were pretty good but I should have gotten more toppings as it wasn’t crunchy enough for me. It is unclear whether this was “vanilla custard” flavor fro-yo or custard...? I will go back but tweak my order.

I remember coming here a few years ago with my dad and I am so ecstatic that it's still up and running! I HIGHLY recommend the salted chocolate to anyone who is new to the area or wants to try out a local froyo shoppe! Never been here just 5 staring for the Karen’s who left 1 stars when they’ve never been here. I struggle with ED and am also diabetic. I’ve been 100 lbs and I’ve been 250 lbs, dieting food is a great way to get healthy without starving myself. I was experiencing severe health problems along with being diagnosed as a diabetic, my doctors never would suggest diets due to my ED I struggled with in the past. With these foods I can be safe and healthy, them being pushed means I can get one easily and leave, without having a mental breakdown later because I chose the unhealthy option knowing my health is at risk especially now with COVID going around and specifically harming people with the issues I have. This place has been my favorite yogurt spot since I was a little kid, it’s old school and has character and the staff is really nice, just trying to get through a hectic and busy day like the rest of us. It offers options for all most dietary restrictions which you don’t see in many yogurt shops. The fact that a celebrity was triggered by that is appealing to me, someone with that type of cash can afford to have their own personal yogurt machine at home. Not everyone needs to cater to your triggers and needs. There are also things like diabetes that exist. Which is also a top killer Demi. Anyways I think it’s awesome that they even have Keto and gluten free options. Not gonna lie though but the cookie dough kinda tasted like play doh for me, so pass on that, but other then that the yogurt is great!

Like some others, I haven’t been to the bigg chill but have heard great things! There’s nothing wrong with having sugar free items. It’s diabetic friendly not “promoting harmful diet culture” as Demi Lovato said. As someone who has also struggled with diet culture in the past, that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I stand and support small local business. I hope this Demi Lovato incident isn't hurting the business and creating a negative perception for other customers. Hey Demi, I find calling out that business harmful and toxic for those hard working people that own that business. Your allowing an open environment for fans to attack and spread negativity to that small business. Read the Google reviews, you'll see that the reviews are from your fan base, not from people actually trying the restaurant. From reading their website they clearly let their customers know that they accomdate sugar free donuts/diet foods while also trying their best to service other customers of different diet needs as well as people who don't have diets. For you to say that is like a vegan person going to taco bell and saying that the chicken tacos are triggering. And telling taco bell to provide a better environment for Vegans of mental health because they have chicken tacos for other customers. That small business should not be viewed badly as a whole based off of your triggering review, just like how celebrities should not be viewed badly based off one mistake they make. There was a huge line out of the door when we arrived, but that usually indicates good food so I wasn't even annoyed. The line moved fairly quickly, and we were at the register within 10ish minutes. I was told by the couple in front of us to get the Honey Greek frozen yogurt. It was so smooth and creamy- it was delicious! My husband got a chocolate flavor that he enjoyed as well. Getting to add our own toppings was a fantastic treat (it does cost extra, but not very much). It was a wonderful experience all around. 😊

At 9:30pm on a Sunday night, the place was packed and the line was moving slowly out the door and around the corner. I left from lack of patience. I never got served or even in the door. Patrons were rudely taking off their masks in line and were blocking traffic with their vehicles to get in and out. I haven't gone there for frozen yogurt in years and likely I won't try again any time soon. It appeared the flavors of the night would have been nice, but not worth the effort.

Decided to pay this place a visit the other day. I'm not normally a fan of frozen yoghurt but really enjoyed the one I got. See I recently dropped out of college (I was a science major) after having my world shook. Umm, definitely wasn’t super impressed with this place. A little to pricey for what you get, but they do have a super friendly staff. You pick the size and up to three flavors then you can add toppings but it’s an extra $2 and you get 3 toppings. I’ve never even been here but I’m giving a 5 star for the way this business handled the adversity. Selfishness should not be tolerated EVER. There are way bigger issues and people are starving, just ask the 150,000 homeless people in LA. The Bigg Chill is a premium fro-yo joint in town. Pre COVID-19, you could often see celebs there with their families getting some of their delicious offerings. Today, the yogurt is still flowing with exciting varieties of flavors changing-out several times per week. I knocked-off a star because the staff often takes customers for granted. No friendly hellos or thank you's. Just, "Next!." That irks me because I like to feel as if my business is (at the very least) appreciated! -=-=-=Pro Tips:-=-=-= They are cash only, but have an ATM on-site. Medium size is the best value. Ask for toppings on the side; you get almost 50% more! The custards are much tastier than non. And, watching carbs? Check out their Carbolite offerings! Yummy! Finally, be sure to get a punch card. Buy 10 any size, get a medium free! Happy Fro-Yo-ing!
