Tried the water-based strawberry, mango, tamarindo, jamaica, and limón nieves. My favorite was the strawberry and mango. There was a line of about 7 people and waited about 35 mins to go in. The nieves are worth it, we'll be coming back to try more flavors.

Over 26 years serving some of the best authentic nieve de garrafa in Los Angeles. Not only are their water based nieves vegan, but they have aguas frescas, smoothies, biónicos, tacitas de pepino and FRUIT TACOS that can be served vegan. I always contemplate walking out with a gallon of their Mexican ice cream but usually get a large cup of watermelon, lime, Jamaica, and mango. This is an absolute must stop every time I find myself in the neighborhood! I grew up here and I come randomly on business or for some shopping and I make it a point to come to Los Reyes for a delicious Mangoneada or some pepinos preparados! Yumm! They also have the best nieces some made with milk and others with water, the lime flavor is my absolute favorite! You must try the bionicos as well! So delicious! I already can't wait to go back!

This is an important business to the Lincoln Heights community. It has been around for 20+ years and it is so nice to see their strong and growing loyal customer base. Now for the ice cream, it tastes so fresh and natural that you don't feel guilty eating it. My favorite are the water based flavors like melon, sandia, mango. For the milk based flavors, my favorite are the pistachio and mamey. They also have many other fruit-based snacks like smoothies and fruit salads. I do wish they had a bigger locale because it gets packed very easily. It would also be nice if it was bigger because then they could provide a place to hang out with your friends and family.

This place has sooo many delicious items. Their ice cream is the most popular item, they offer milk based flavors as well as water based. I've tried some of the other items on their menu and I have no complain about anything! There is usually a line but it moves pretty fast they have multiple employees attending customers.

Awesome, little, family-owned shop. Everything fresh and delicious. There are some long lines in the summer, but go in with a plan or else you're holding back everyone else. Their service is super fast though, so even if you've got a lot to buy they'll work quickly. Warning though, there are always bees hanging outside. They tend to be really docile as long as you don't swing or flail at them.

Been coming here since I was a child just for their ice cream. They have various water and milk base ice cream. They'll hit you up with a sample flavor if you'd like one. Their gelatins and flans are also delicious. Only downfall of this place is how packed it gets with long lines during the summer and any day it becomes hot.

I have only tried the nieves de garrafa but they have a variety of other delicious looking items. There's usually a line when it's hot but it's worth it. I usually get a medium ice cream and it's $3.50 (water based) and $4 (milk based) for about 4 scoops. Super yummy. My favorites are pineapple, tamarind, mango, and watermelon, although watermelon is a bit too sweet sometimes.

It's definitely popular. The lines can get long. I caught them at a slow moment. The odor of fresh fruit resonates through the air several feet before you even walk in. It kinda slaps you in the face when you walk in. Your taste buds tingle and you might drool a little while you're trying to figure out what you want. The finished product is all that is built up to be. Always fresh, always sweet, always tasty!

This is coming from a Mexican who goes to Tecate or TJ on a weekend to get a fix on authentic Mexican desserts. This place makes their own authentic mexican ice cream, auga fresas and chimoy gummy bears. You can’t find them gummies outside of Mexico but you can find them here.

Comes with Rock salt, a scoop of nieve de limon upon request (lime sorbet), not gritty, and not overly fermented at all - so it doesn't carry an overempowering vinegary-aftertaste. Clean corn flavor. (Translation) I read some of the bad reviews of this place, after having visited one of its locations, I don't understand the bad comments. - Tejuino is a fermented drink similar to tepache, that is its natural flavor. The tejuino is not very "sweet" its traditional flavor is unique, because it contains grain salt, lemon and piloncillo in its fermentation process, so if you are looking for something traditional, this place is very close to the traditional, I am Nayarita / Jalisco 100% I come from Mexico, used to eating, drinking traditional drinks. I have traveled to many magical towns in Nayarit and Jalisco and it reminded me of the tejuino from there, highly recommended. The bionicos were 7/10, the traditional ones have apple, pear, grape but even so the taste was good, the milk jellies reminded me of some that I ate in Tepatitlan, Jalisco, years ago, the mangonadas, very tasty too, yes come to California, it's worth stopping by this place and try it, EVERYTHING SUPER CHEAP! and all very friendly. (Original) Leí algunos de los malos reviews de este lugar, después de haber visitado uno de sus locaciones, no entiendo los malos comentarios. - El tejuino es una bebida fermentada similar al tepache, ese es su sabor natural.
