La Michoacana is a Mexican ice cream shop that is part of a franchise, but this particular location takes it to the next level. The attention to detail and service provided by the employees is great. I recommend anything strawberry but all of the flavors we tried were wonderful. I recommend stopping in on a hot day if you’re in the area.

Although all the La Michoacanas are different, they’re so good and so underrated. I got chongos and double Oreo, my bro got the fruit paleta, and my friend got strawberry ice cream. Creamy goodness yum. There was one person working at the time we went and they were very friendly.

Favorite Ice cream spot for my boyfriend and I there's about 50 different flavors of popsicle bars (choose from dairy or fruit base) and maybe around 20 flavors of ice cream! Everything is absolutely delicious!! Sometimes the lines can get pretty long though, so have patience! Park on the street or the lot to the left side (or back lot) of the building. Must try: - avocado - queso con mora - tequila ice cream - mango chimoy - Mexican gazpacho (pretty spicy)

Seriously the most delicious ice cream ever! They have water based and milk based ice cream, paletas (popsicles), mangoniadas, etc. Street parking only, but definitely a must try if you're in the area.

I love this place, best ice cream ever. When I come here I literally take a little bit of everything. I love their mangoneadas, they’re ice cream, banana split, hot Cheetos with cheese. The wait time is long though, they always have like 2 girls working there. I think they need like 3-4 people since it does get super full with people. That’s the only bad thing I can say about this place. Oh and customer service is great they’re really nice people.👌

Ok my review initially had 5 stars. The only reason why that’s changing it’s because this place needs more attention. It’s not possible that in a such busy and popular place there are just two people working that on top of everything have no sense of urgency. The taste is still great.

The esquite is amaaaazing. If you go for paletas, make it worth your while. Every time I go, I get the 12 because they give you an extra free. The wait time can be bad sometimes but overall it's really worth it. The paletas are full of flavor. And the ice cream is smooth. Melts fast though, especially now with this hot weather. Great place!!

Mangonada, is amazing, unlike most places, here they do it with mango ice cream/sorbet instead of with crushed ice, all ingredients the same with chamoy, tajin, mango fruit pieces and tamarind candy on a stick, they add some tangy candy bites on top very delicious. Plus the staff was friendly.

My esquite was sooo good and the ice cream never dissappoints. Unfortunately every time I go in there I never get a smile from the employees. They are just standing there with a look on their face that says "I'd rather be anywhere else". No one wants to be at work but for some of us costumer service is also part of it. If you've ever had the Mexican popsicles (palletas) sold in those little ice cream carts but lack a roving ice cream vendor in your neighborhood, like me, then this place is the answer to your prayers. Not only do they have all the classic favorites in popsicle form but, in regular ice cream too. Along with other interesting concoctions like tequila flavor and bubulubu.

Stop. Just stop. Stop what youre doing, turn your car around, you're headed in the wrong direction. What you should be doing is driving to La Michoacana All-Natural Ice Cream in Reseda. I know quality when I get it and this place is amazing. The selection of both milk based and water based paletas is STAGGERING. Everything from your favorites like strawberry or mango, to spicy tamarind or pepino with serrano pepper, to some really fantastic flavors, like avocado or dragon fruit and everything in between. Seriously, there had to be 40 or 50 different flavors of paletas alone. As if this weren't enough, there is a full compliment of fresh, home made ice creams in similar flavors. Even better than this is that this is a small, well run, first time, family business. The entire family is there and the pride they have in their business and product shows. The food is fantastic, the store is incredibly cute and well maintained, and they are ready to help. The super friendly owner made a point of telling us how everything is made, with his mother hand selecting all the fresh fruit ingredients. If ever there was a place that deserves to get your business, and your money, this is it. For $2 for a water based paleta and $2.25 for a serving of ice cream, how could you not go?!

although it is still a busy place, it is the least busy of the two locations that exist ( the other in pacoima). its a tad small doesnt seem like much but they have so many hispanic flavors like tequila and gansito. its a must try that you wont regret

If your a real Mexican hahahaa you'll know this place. Lol jk But no really, it's like the equivalent to Starbucks on every other corner, but in Mexico. This is the first they opened in LA and your first try hahaha If the lines two crazy here go to the new location Delicious paletas, ice cream, aguas and mangonadas..... they also have other Mexican treats with chips....corn... On a hot day expect the line to be Huge. There's another location 3 minutes away. The line was worse there lol

There are always very long lines, you have to wait a long time to be able to buy an ice cream. The times I have gone, I sometimes wait up to 20 minutes to be able to buy. The snow and the popsicles are delicious, you just have to be patient and wait for a long time standing still 👎
