First time coming here while in LA. Outdoor seating is available. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Took us approximately twenty minutes to order our ice cream based on the line up. You are allowed to sample two flavors which they give you on silver spoons which I thought was a nice touch and the shop seems like it's trying to be eco friendly which I liked. We ordered the billionaire brownie, butterscotch chocolate and lavender honey. Ice cream was creamy and the flavors were delicious. Vegan ice cream flavors are available. They also have cookies and giant brownies. I recommend having them warm up the brownie. It is rich and decadent. Recommend checking this spot out. Would come back to try other flavors.

This ice cream shop is becoming one of my favorite spots. It has so many flavors to choose it from. The price is fair for the serving size, and the quality of ice cream is excellent. I bring my friends here all the time. It also has a nice seating area outside of the store.

The parking is scarce since you have to park on the street. The line was out the door. That gave me time to snap a pic of the front window. But, wow! The wait was worth it. The flavors are, well “Devine”. You’ll have to stop by and taste for yourself. As of last night, you could have two free samples. Oh, and the service was superb!

The cutest local ice cream shop, and with more than one vegan flavor that isn't just sorbet!! The mango sorbet is one of the best mango sorbets we've ever had though. I had a vegan strawberry with dark chocolate on their homemade waffle cone. Delicious!

Ginger's ice cream was excellent! The kids scoop is very small, but it was just enough for me. I tried the seasonal Bo'Oreos and Cream Cheese flavor, and was a little disappointed that the cream cheese flavor was very subtle. However it was neat to see that the ice cream was colored orange and purple for Halloween! I would definitely come again and try out another flavor as there are many to chose from. You can try cookie ice cream sandwiches here too.

Good ice cream with lots of flavors. Many vegan options. Unique flavors like picked strawberry something. Service was fast and friendly. They let you try samples as well. They do a good job following covid protocols. Would recommend. Solid ice cream but not in my top LA Ice Cream shops.

👎😩😖🤮 Wow, we were lured to here by such a high amount of ratings, and sadly, what a BIG disappointment this was. IF, heavy sweetness & sugary is your thing, then this place is for you. Not for us, most definitely! The most unfortunate part of this was the ice creams were SOOOOO sweet, and then the hand-made waffle bowl was stale to make the experience even worst. "Come on, man", stale waffle and charging customers for it? Really?? 🙄 🤔 😳 Our highly anticipated experience was so disappointing. How bad? So bad, that we disposed it all away, then searched of water to wash out all of the heavy sugars that was gonna put us all on the road to diabetes & insulins much sooner than we all can ever think of. Good God.......!! 1st & definitely the last time for us... Oh, and by the way, don't let the pictures below fool ya, it's not as good as you might think, really!!

I'm an ice cream maker and I check out all the ice cream shops in places where I go vacation. This was an awesome mix of sophisticated flavors and family- friendly flavors. Something for everyone. Large assortment of vegan options. Knowledgeable and helpful employees. Don't be put off by the prices, their single is larger than average, and almost the size of a double in many places.

I love their space and the prepackaged ice cream in glass bottles that can be returned when you buy some more. Their flavors are varied and not too bad. Their ice cream is lighter and doesn't have that creamy quality I have come to expect from quality ice cream. To much air for my taste.

Ginger's has a wide selection of ice cream flavors - including a huge assortment of vegan ice cream too. I love the two flavors that I got: yuzu boysenberry and butterscotch oreos and fudge. Such a great combo of tangy and chocolatey. They make their own ice cream in the shop too. The only downside is the price. It's quite high considering the moderate sized scoop that you get. Wish that the prices can be a bit lower or scoops a bit larger.

Gourmet ice cream is everywhere in this town. And the competition is stiff. However these guys really do it right. No wonder there's a long line running out the door every night. When it's not as crowded, I like bringing the kids. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Kids always get to try something new. However, call me old-fashioned... it is amazing what good ice cream costs these days

First time trying this ice cream place. It was pretty good actually. I was a little iffy trying it because some similar ice cream places are expensive for just one scoop of ice cream or even half a scoop! But this one was okay priced. It was about $8 for two large scoops of ice cream. I came here with my boyfriend and he had ordered two scoops of ice cream one Vanilla and the other the Farmers Market Strawberry. I like the strawberry one very much. I ordered two scoops one of the Billionaire Brownie, which is a popular favorite, and the Dark Chocolate Avocado, which reminded me a little of pistachio. Both were good together the only thing was the more I ate it the more chocolatey and sweet it got for me. Overall I really liked the ice cream. I would definitely come again to try any of the seasonal ice cream flavors or maybe even at ice cream pop.

I've been here twice. It's on my route back from a 10-mile round trip walk to Venice. What can I tell you? I like to walk. Well let me *walk* (I'm so sorry) you through my experience with Ginger's Divine Ice Cream. Covid Measures Masks are required, staff are clean and careful, markers tell you where to stand in line so that you're 6 ft apart, they only allow 5 people in the store at once, and there are dispensers of hand sanitizer available. What more could you ask for? Staff Super kind people. Professional and knowledgeable about the product. The Goods The first time I stopped by, I got the brownie with powdered sugar on top. It was gooey and homemade. Not too sweet. Perfect. The second time I stopped by, I tried the Billionaire Brownie ice cream. Single scoop. First, I'll say that if you know me or you've read my other reviews, you're aware that I can EAT, so when I say that one scoop was enough to satisfy me without making me feel like a tub, it means that the portions for one scoop are respectable. The ice cream itself is very good, and the brownie, pecans, fudge, caramel, and vanilla ice cream make for the right combination of flavors and textures that’s nice and varied. Generous serving of those pieces, for sure. As the name would imply, I did feel like a billionaire while eating it, but alas, I checked my bank account afterwards and did not see a ten-figure balance. It's exceptional ice cream, but it's not magic. Price Totally fair and comparable to Salt & Straw, I'd say. I'm not complaining. Just right. Note You can buy ice cream that's conveniently packaged already. They have a freezer to the left when you enter the shop. Recommend? Yes. I'll be back to try more flavors.

Mmmmm yummy!! Great variety of dairy free choices! There was a line to get in but it moved quickly. Met a nice gentleman to chat with while waiting who was a regular! Staff was friendly and helpful and didn’t rush me. The servings are ample! Almost too much if that could be a thing with ice cream! I was out in about 5 min! There is seating outside. Will definitely return!

If you get big scoops, just get one scoop. They are massive. Also, make sure to get any of the bourbon ice creams. They are legit. I recommend get small scoops of brown sugar bourbon and cold brew coffee to make an Irish coffee ice cream.

Over the top. Higher quality and richer creams. This is not to be compared with anything in the supermarket on the shelves. The good stuff. Worth putting into the GPS and finding this little nugget of cool creamy gold. Flavors are different and hand made. What is in the case will change. But the constant is the Popsicle they make. Nice touch. And likely a good option for a party! Today I tried the Caramel Bourbon and a Salted Caramel combo. In a Waffle cone. Had a hard time finishing it. So Rich.

Where do I begin? Kid in a candy store is a fitting description of my eyes and reaction when walking in. A gentleman, who is familiar with the place, advised me to take my time and check out all the flavors. Good advice. They ask about allergies, it's also noted clearly in the descriptions. They have vegan options. Brownies, pre-packaged pints, individual ice creams. First time here and clearly not the last...I bought, Rocky Road, Nutella, Key lime pie, grape/goat cheese, and ginger joy (amazing) in 1-scoop containers to go (and maybe share with roommate), they have waffle cones too. The picture is just one tiny portion of their selection.

Really good quality ice cream! With a lot of taste and flavors! It is creamy, right amount of sweetness. My favorites: burnt sugar vanilla, rasberry pannacotta, coffe with cocoa nibs. Honestly, all the flavor I tasted were delicious. Everytime I try a new taste is an experience... excellent!

Seriously delicious ice cream but not cheap. $10 for a double scoop and $15 for a pint. Their standard flavors are fun and wide-ranging. This last time we tried sour cherry cheesecake with brownie, key lime pie, and yuzu blackberry and all were SO good.

Gingers is the greatest ice cream store on the planet. They lose a star because they are constantly out of their bittersweet chip, which is the greatest ice cream on the planet. I fear they underrate it’s popularity. Often times I see certain flavors with 2, maybe even 3 buckets of cream, never bittersweet chip. This keeps me up at night. Their cookies and cream is great though so I usually get that instead.

It was so good definitely a bit expensive at $6.25 for jsut a size small single scoop of icecrem but it was decently sized and came with quite a bit of ice cream. The ice cream itself was so good though 15/10 I loved it. Best ice cream I’ve even had I’m going to be honest. All there flavors are so good and there are so many options!

Whether it's a hot summer night or it's cold and raining, I can alway go for ice cream at Ginger's. Their ice cream is such good quality and so delicious. I'm a creature of habit so I always get Chocolate Peanut Butter Crack. If they're out of that, after having a fit, I'll go for some other form of chocolate. My son and wife are more adventurous and will try anything new or different and they've always been happy. There are also baked goods and vegan ice cream too. No thanks, one small Chocolate Peanut Butter Crack in a cup please.

Not bad, not the best either though. Lots of flavors, but the flavors all kinda tasted the same. Many used strawberries as a base. Toasted marshmallow was underwhelming, and didn't like the unicorn cotton candy. Still the quality is good and they do half and half scoops which is nice!

As a lover of simple Thrifty's ice cream and not at all adventurous with my ice cream flavors... cookies n cream, mint n chip, chocolate chip, and maybe chocolate malted crunch... I was concerned about trying something called Lavender Honeycomb. Like really... a flowering plant as an ice cream flavor? Well Mint is a plant... soooo I'll try it. That's how I justified it... and I'm so glad I did. Ish was delicious!!! Like... what?! I got a scoop of the lavender honeycomb and chocolate chip... ya know... a backup ice cream in case I need to flick the other flavor out into the garbage. Nah! It was so good and tasted like it should have been a normal ice cream flavor this entire time.

Ginger’s is great. I love their ice cream. They have a wonderful selection of flavors, some that fluctuate. In particular the Vietnamese coffee flavor and key lime pie. All their ice cream is super rich in flavor and definitely leaves me wanting more!

Every time I think I've tried all the flavors, they come up with some new taste adventure. I'm a huge fan of their butter pecan, so I usually have that and something new. The split scoop is a pretty good deal, given the quality. This place stays busy on summer evenings, but the crew does a great job of keeping everyone happy. Don't miss the Girl Scout thin mint flavor when they have it. Update: a more normal time finds new flavors and faster service. Still plastic only, no cash.

I got a double scoop of burnt-sugar vanilla and some sort of berry flavor. It was good. Not the best, but good. The shop was cute and they have a few other cool treats, like homemade cookies and ice cream bars. Been here multiple times and it never fails to disappoint. It's a hidden westside gem that has some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted. Highly recommend the Lavender Honeycomb if it's in stock - neither the lavender nor honeycomb is overpowering and together the taste is exactly as they describe, divine.

Ginger's is the best. I live their assortment of flavors (super delicious and creative). They have, imo, the best brownie in LA and the only downside is the price point which is high. But I don't eat much ice cream so it's worth the extra bucks for a great experience and delicious ice cream. Also they're local so if you like supporting local, give Ginger's a try!

First off, this place has a TON of flavors to choose from. By far the biggest selection of any ice cream joint I've been too. They often have even more flavors that are in the pints (which are in glass mason jars which I thought was pretty cool and unique) but not out on display. But their ice cream is perfectly creamy, very flavorful, and overall some really good ice cream. One particularly nice thing I noticed is when the ice cream starts melting it never really becomes a full liquid, rather maintaining it's cream consistency instead. Some of the flavors in the pints too they may have some of it in the back that you may be able to try as well before purchasing. They also have larger quart-sized mason jars as well. This is however more expensive than most ice cream places, but it is well worth it. It is indeed pretty divine ice cream.

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Easily equals/better Salt and Straw in LA and Murphys Ice Cream in Dublin, Ireland (a high bar to pass given the proud heritage with dairy) Interesting seasonal options on the menu as well as the classica. Recommend the Mint Oreo fudge.

Great and cozy spot for some bomb ice cream. Toasted marshmallow flavor was unbelievably accurate. Like, when you finally get that perfect golden mallow over the camp fire, but now it's cold and creamy. Also love how they integrate local ingredients into the menu. Overall, the only downfall is it's a little pricey, but the final product still has me not caring and wanting to come back for more.

Cute ice cream shop. The staff is really nice. We went right when they opened so there was no line...at first. We were allowed to taste just about every flavor without attitude from the staff. After a while, it became difficult to distinguish flavors. In the end, the kids went with simple flavors, vanilla and chocolate. I chose the first flavor I could remember tasting distinct, apricot ginger. My husband had a mango bar. We sat outside in the shade on the cool yellow lawn furniture - a bit close to traffic, but were eating ice cream so it was all good.

So many great flavors of ice cream. Really original flavor combinations and good vegan and gluten free options. They also have popsicles and ice cream sandwiches, which I haven't had myself, but seem super popular. I'm a big fan of their handful of boozy flavors -- they have a White Russian option called The Dude and a whiskey chocolate option as well. A ton of fruit flavors also. And you can split a cup so you get two flavors instead of just one in a single cup. A great spot.

Not sure why people are only giving 3 stars when they say they love this place? Dumb. I am not a huge ice cream fan, but holy you know what...this place is AMAZING!! Flavors combinations that seem like they would be way too overly sweet aren't somehow. They reach this sweetness threshold that doesn't go overboard. A scoop of Brown Sugar Bourbon in coffee is a pretty damn good start to the day just fyi. All of their ice cream is such creamy goodness it's ridiculous. My new favorite ice cream place! Their toasted marshmallow is so good. It’s like a campfire in your mouth in the best way possible. It reminds me of camping trips when I was a kid and makes me feel super nostalgic every time I eat it. My favorite ice cream spot on this side of town! They're always super cool about me wanting to try literally every flavor. And you should! Because the flavor combinations are always really unique and interesting. They have rotating ones that change all the time and few staples that are always available. My go-to staple is the Dude - a deliciously creamy flavor based on the white russian cocktail. They have plenty of vegan flavors, popsicles and baked goods as well. You can pick up pints or quarts to go if a scoop or two isn't enough. For 50 cents, you can do a "split scoop", which is one scoop but two flavors. I love their waffle cones which are always warm and just a little chewy around the edges. YUM.

Love that they are constantly shifting flavors, and of course, keeping their staple flavors. Billionaire Brownie, Cold Brew, Peanut Butter Crack are among my favorites (I think I got the names right!) as well as seasonal Girl Scout Cookie flavors, and omg... they had a Maple Bacon flavor once. Please bring that back as a Maple Bacon Donut flavor or something ridiculously amazing. Staff is always friendly. Building is always clean. Lots of outdoor seating. Parking can be challenging (street parking only). Vegan options available! Price is right! There are also pints to go (and sometimes ice cream sandwiches). Enjoy!
