Ice cream is always a great idea! And if ice cream is not on your menu, you can have a macaron! So many unique frozen flavors within a fantastic little storefront. Sorbets, ice creams, gluten free, dairy free, drinks, baked goods... I love that they keep everyone in mind in order to serve as many as possible.

Absolutely loved this place! Large variety of ice creams, including some dairy-free options. Between the 4 of us we tried so many and they were all incredible. Highly recommend the red velvet - literally the only time I’ve had red velvet that wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. It was perfect. Friendly staff. Loved the inclusivity sign. Gem of an establishment!

Delicious! I tried the 6-scoop ice cream flight because there were so many flavors I wanted to try, and that was really a great idea on Loblolly's part. The scoops were the perfect size, and it was very satisfying getting to try so many flavors. My two favorites were the Little Rock-y Road and the Spicy Chocolate, because chocolate's my fave, but the Bourbon Pecan (made with locally distilled bourbon) was a revelation, and the Double Vanilla was the best vanilla I've had in a long time. I highly recommend coming here if you're in the Little Rock area!

Love the idea of an ice cream flight. Three of us wanted to try several things but we weren't super hungry and the 6 scoop flight was awesome. I think the berry sorbet was my favorite!

9/10 would recommend. The macarons here are good and only slightly small, but well worth the price. I love the variety of flavors and how frequently they change; they're also gorgeous. The shell-to-cream ratio is outstanding. The shell is soft, malleable, and has the perfect amount of chew and give. The staff is charming and caring; I will definitely be back.

Started our Saturday night here getting ice cream! Arkansa mud was amazing! A small is two large scoops. So if you are wanting a smaller option go with a child size. Service was fast and friendly.

I thought I had come across the best ice cream in a different state, until I had eaten the ice cream here at Loblolly. Every single flavor I had was exceptional in flavor, depth, complexity, and complimentary flavors. The Mighty Peach was the absolute best fruit ice cream I’ve ever had, as well as the Bourbon Pecan being the best overall ice cream. The true intensity of all the flavors was incredible and there was not a single one I did not like. The ice cream sandwich was pure gloriousness! The cookie was a solid chocolate chip with excellent structure and flavor, it was not overly oily and the ice cream was a perfect compliment to the cookie.

I couldn’t wait to try Loblolly’s in Little Rock - so many unique flavors, including a solid selection of sorbets…and if you can’t decide on only one or two, you can order a “flight”and try all 6 (pictured below). BTW it was a seasonal flavor, Caramel Apple, for the surprising win - needless to say…two thumbs WAY up!

Loblolly, your vegan ice cream and waffle cone are sinfully addictive. Shame on you, for offering something so euphorically phenomenal! Keep up the wonderful work! I’ve recently tried their vegan Pinnacle trail ice cream and I admit, it’s addictive! I’ve had it scooped into a cups and also made into shakes, it’s fabulously flavorful and wonderfully affordable!

Amazingly delicious ice creams! I've never seen vegan ice cream and non dairy ice creams variety-rich product development! It's incredible. All staffs were super friendly and helpful. Loblolly has the best ice cream in town. Every time we have visitors come from out of town we always treat them to some local love and we are happy to have such a great little ice creamery born right here in Little Rock. My all time favorite flavor is Little Rocky Road. The shop is fun and the ice cream flight is a definite must try so you can sample several flavors in one visit. The take out pints are great for keeping a stash at home. I hope one day they will consider doing the little 4 ounce containers for those of us who don't know when to quit with the pint size! :)

Who doesn't love a local ice cream shop. But they are so much more. I got an ice cream with no name. And it was the best ice cream I've eaten in a long time. And they have the biggest oatmeal cream sandwich that are delicious!! Highly recommended !!

Absolutely to die for! The Cereal Milk ice cream was out of this world, and I couldn't recommend anything more. If you are like me and love a good Cookie Dough, but hate how the ice cream can sometimes be grainy, then you will adore the consistency here! It is so smooth and creamy and I definitely will be visiting again to try even more flavors. Oh, and the precious mini macarons??? Incredible!

WOW! This place is amazing! All their flavors are fantastic; I tried about 6 or 7 before settling on the bourbon pecan and the pinnacle trail. I have a peanut allergy and it was no problem to come here. I was very surprised to see all the creative non dairy flavors as well. Love the vibe, super cute artwork and merch too - and even dog-friendly scoops!

Great ice cream spot to try out. They have a lot of flavors and will allow you to sample as many as you'd like. In the back there are freezers full of pints for taking home. In the front there are some trinkets for sale and other snacks like cookies or macaroons. Plenty of seating for larger parties. T shirts are also for sale.

This was our first time here and it was fantastic! The staff is so sweet and took time to explain everything to me. I tried a lot of their different ice creams and they are so unique and delicious. My favorite is the strawberry mint! I also bought some macaroons that I can't wait to share with my family and an adorable shirt! They grinded my bag of coffee just the way I like too. Such a nice and unique place! I highly recommend to everyone!

Amazing ice cream. Whenever I'm in Little Rock I love visiting. Handmade in the store waffle cones can't get any better than that. They have so many flavors and you can try them all for free. Reasonably priced and super friendly staff. Store and the bathrooms are super clean. I would recommend and I will be back for sure.

Amazing variety of very unique and very delicious flavors (including mashed potatoes, honey lavender, pumpkin cheesecake, and all the classics), great coffee, and extremely nice and understanding servers. I enjoyed a pumpkin spice latte scoop in a very friendly and welcoming environment, and would definitely reccomend it.

Unbelievably good creamery! Such a hidden gem near downtown Little Rock. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. So many choices to pick from. I suggest getting the flight and some cool stickers. Must add to your list of things to do.

Was really great. Loved the decor and atmosphere, great staff that were friendly and helpful with recommendations. We had the affogato with double vanilla, hot chocolate float with marshmallow overload, and a sugar cookie. Nothing to fault. Everything was extremely well done. Will definitely be back.

What a delicious experience! We decided to get an ice cream flight, which offered smaller scoops of eight different flavors of our choice. We were not disappointed! The texture of the one sorbet we had was slightly grainy, but the flavors — as with all of the ice creams — was excellent.

Went there last night after dinner. The staff is super friendly and courteous. They let us taste a bunch of flavors before choosing one to have. I had the Little Rocky Road. It was amazing. Lots of space for dates and kids. Went back again today and had the buttermilk. I sent my sister a pic and she said "it looks so creamy" and it was.

They have unique ice cream & sorbet flavors. I really enjoy getting macarons & trying the adventurous flavor combinations, which always turn out so yummy! Spiced pumpkin cheesecake, caramel apple, spicy chocolate, birthday cake, pink champagne!! With the ice cream, I'd suggest getting the $11 flight so you can have 8 different flavors to choose from in half scoop sized cups. A party for your mouth!!

Holy moly! This might be the best ice cream I've ever had. I don't throw that phrase around lightly. I couldn't believe the deliciousness and the variety of flavors. They also had a number of amazing dairy free and vegan flavors. The staff was super helpful. I loved the s'mores, key lime pie and of course the Arkansas mud. However, you cannot go wrong with any flavor. This is a must visit in Little Rock!!! 🍨

"Ok, another ice cream place." That's what I thought before I went. I'm an ok fan of ice cream, but it's not like I crave it. That is now all in the past. My sister introduced me to their Little Rock shop last year and I couldn't wait to return. Their flavors are fantastic, but I have to say that the Strawberries and Buttermilk flavor is the most unique flavor I've ever had. There is something about the sweetness and tanginess together. It is now my favorite ice cream flavor ever. Go get you some! You will be glad you did.

If asked to describe Loblolly Creamery, the word "cute" is generally what comes to mind. Loblolly's fun, colorful, and cartoony aesthetic wouldn't work quite as well if the ice cream wasn't equally as fun--but luckily, it is! With a broad selection of ice cream (even some healthier options!), there's plenty of unique choices for you to try! You can't go wrong with the Arkansas Mud, Salted Caramel, or Coffee and Cream, but if you're feeling more experimental, their buttermilk-based ice creams are a tangy twist worth trying! Yeah, it gets a little pricey when all is said and done, but honestly, compare it to most ice cream/sweet shops and it's really not much more, all things considered. Plus, they're open later on weekends, so it's the perfect phase 2 for a dinner date or night out with friends!

My daughter has Celiac Disease and it's terrible to try to find somewhere for her to eat. I saw that they made GF waffle cones and had to stop in during our road trip. SO WORTH IT. I'd go e them 10 stars if I could. The young person behind the counter also had Celiac Disease and informed me that they have a separate scoops specifically for GF. Also, all the flavors have allergen warnings on them! 10/10. So good. So many flavors. Even macarons!

This place has some delicious ice cream! If you go to their website, you can see a list of ingredients for each flavor, which is so nice for those of us with dietary restrictions. It was relieving to be able to walk into a place and order without having to quiz the staff about ingredients. I got the salted caramel and the vanilla in their house-made waffle cone, and the whole thing was outstanding! Absolutely go here for ice cream. You won't be disappointed.

Staff was great and very welcoming. I enjoyed the double vanilla and lavender chip. I make a point to visit local creameries while traveling and this one slaps so good! The ice cream is what I would consider on the softer side so you have to enjoy it freshly scooped. They also offer alternatives like hip-branded marshmallows, oatmeal cream pies and French macarons for additional sweet snack attacks!

I have alway liked Loblolly ice cream but ever since I started ordering directly from the shop I’m obsessed! The Flavor That Must Not be Named is a favorite but then I tried Pinnacle Trail! Not just because I do enjoy exploring vegan options but it sounded good. OMG Pinnacle Trail may be vegan but no one would ever know. The chocolate coconut cream is decadent with accents of pecans and chocolate chips. I will probably be making a weekly order from now on. Loblolly is that good. I am looking forward to trying their other treats and seasonal flavors. As for the staff, couldn’t ask for nicer people!

Very expensive! I only had one flavor of the ice cream, Arkansas Mud, which was good, but not as good as the price would lead to believe. Maybe some of the other flavors are knock-your-socks-off good, that will have to be someone else's story. And as for the macarons, $2.25 for one cookie, smaller than the size of a half dollar, is a little over my pay grade. And yes, I know how they are made, and have made some myself, but really! True they are very tasty, I've had them before. The staff was busy going about their duties, but I don't think I ever saw a one of the light up as in a smile. Face masks prevented that for sure, but you can usually tell if someone is smiling. It would have be nice to hear "welcome to Loblolly's" as each customer came in the door. A friendly getting goes a long way.

We've had good experiences here. The staff is friendly and helpful. They're a little "covid crazy" because you have to take a sample outside in order to taste test anything. That's a bit extreme but the ice cream is excellent and the portions are generous.

Very interesting place! Very modern. Had been busy almost ever time I've been there. An assortment of different flavors some traditional some not so much. They make their own cones that I beleave are vegetarian and vegan and still delicious. They sell a few select craft beers but it is still a family friendly place. I would give five stars for the ice cream that they sell and there's no doubt it's amazing. It's my go-to icecream place! The reason I give three stars it's because of a very recent experience. Last weekend when I went to the creamery, I ordered for a large(3 scoops) icecream with three different flavors. And I asked the guy who was serving me specifically, if I could get the large in three different cups or would I be charged extra, she said they would be no charge for the cups and so we bought it. At the billing, another lady charged us for individual scoops, so I let her know that we requested the server to give the large ice cream in the separate cups. But she said that the guy who served us did not know and was wrong. First of all the attitude of this lady was pathetic and being in a hospitality industry it was highly unexpected. She said "it is common sense that if you're asking in a separate cup you would be charged extra". Well it was because I had common sense I asked the guy specifically who was serving us if we would be charged extra for seperate cups. The faces she made while billing us was pathetic and so disgusting that we regretted buying anything. Also spoiled our spirit for getting an ice-cream on a warm Sunday! I wouldn't mind paying her extra if she had been respectful but this was disappointing! P.S tried the Arkansas mud(Loved it it's my new favourite), The one with no name( okayish), and Bourbon pecan( loved it). my all time favourite- Honey lavender. Best one ever!!

Shout out to Loblolly for providing a wonderful experience today. I was greeted with friendly waves and a big hello!! I felt extremely safe visiting today with the pandemic going on. All of the staff wore masks, our scooper was extremely friendly. She was also very clean!!! She sanitized her hands prior to scooping and wore a brand new pair of gloves!! I ordered the Banana Pudding along with my favorite Bourbon Pecan!! Yum, yum, yum!!!!

Let me just start by saying that folks who work here are super nice. I am taking away 2 stars for 2 reasons. First I think Kilwins downtown have better flavors and more variety. Something falls flat flavor wise at Loblolly. Second is that they don't allow customers to try different flavors before choosing one which Kilwins does and honestly every other ice cream place that I have ever tried does as well. By the way I am not biased towards Kilwins I actually don't like going there much (folks who work there are not as nice plus it's more expensive).

Such a cute little shop! Most interesting and unique flavors. And every single one of them is yummy!!! They even have 8 vegan flavors that are delicious. Not icy like normal vegan ice cream. The staff is incredibly helpful and super knowledgeable. They have Halloween themed cones and flavors right now, which I eqpecialy loved. Definitely stop in while in Little Rock!

This was highly recommended on several trip sites so we definitely had to visit. Super friendly staff, colorful decor, and amazing ice creams and baked goods. The espresso drinks were all phenomenal. A little bit pricey but worth it. If we come back, I'm getting an ice cream flight. Definitely a must-do if you're in Little Rock!

This place moved into it's own location next to the green corner market. I was so relieved to see they were still in business!! Beautiful new expansion with lots of seating and awesome atmosphere. My only minor complaint is that they've switched coffee providers recently and the coffee isn't quite as good, but it's not bad. Certainly won't keep people away! They even had a movie night recently and screened an old 70's film...what fun!

I had never had Loblolly before and one day they were kind enough to drop off dozens of cookies to our homeless shelter for clients and staff and it was an awesome blessing to our community. My daughter lives for the macarons and ice cream here! We love that it’s from scratch and that they use local ingredients when possible. The service is always so amazing- they make my daughter feel so excited about picking our her favorite color macaron. The decor is fun, the big windows are great for people watching on busy days and the large variety of seasonal flavors make our visits unique every time. Love it here.

What a SWEET surprise to have this establishment just south of downtown. This place is spotless, and the ice cream is so so good. I got 2 scoops, 1–butter pecan, 1–buttermilk. The buttermilk was my favorite! It tasted like cheesecake. Come try this place!

It's like ice milk, not so much ice cream, and their flavors are like nothing I have ever had! Incredible flavors! The prices are reasonable too! I went wild and got three scoops. I ate it all. I didn't feel too guilty because it's a little more on the milk side than cream. It also really agreed with my system. This would be a great treat for kids if you're a health-minded mom or dad. Mmmmm.

Stepping into the 90 year old storefront, the smell of fresh made waffle cones whet our appetite. The space is loud but attractive and charmingly decorated. It is dominated by a long freezer case of 30-40 flavors of ice cream & sorbet, cookies and other confections. Everything is sourced & done as locally & sustainably as possible - and the products are very good. A bit pricey for LR, but worth a visit. By itself or as desert after the award winning The Root Cafe caty-corner across the street. Kids love the place.
