Excellent frozen custard and a lot of choices. Stick with the tried and true, a friend tried exotic and while it was good, couldn't finish. Went back again and he is a lot happier now. Check this place out. Staff is friendly and it tasted great.

Disappointed coming here today. First trip usually of several until Sept/Oct. Had 2 people behind us yet was told, for the first time, that she could only scoop 3 quarts per order. This usually great Italian Ice place here in Vegas soured my desire to come back. I would expect that as she brought them to the counter she could have asked if I wanted more now that 3 other workers were standing around and there were no new customers. I would understand if there was a line out the door for this 3 scoop policy. Typically there is a stocked prepacked freezer, this time a small spattering of pints with off flavors. This is what happens when you leave teenagers in charge of your business. IF, you don't want to take any quarts home then it's definitively worth the visit. Good natural flavored ice as well as gelato and other signature specialty choices.

I'm originally from north east, taste and function very similar to Rita's. Mango tastes exactly like Rita's. This place definately has more flavors though. Inside can be quite crowded

One of if not the best place to get Italian ice and custard. This store out of all the stores that have Italian ice or custard has the most options the most flavors the most unique flavors and the prices are personally Dirt Cheap to me compared to everybody else. The girls working behind the counter are always so nice, they're super sweet they're super fast and they're knowledgeable with whatever you ask them. I would much rather go here then let's say Rita's because Rita's is just expensive and their options are very limited. I go here twice a week after my daughter's swim practice I love it.

SO GOOD!!! It was my first time going but I have seen it all the time heading to my grandmother's place and I have always wanted to go. So, I got a regular mango ice and a spicy sandia. I follow them on Instagram and the spicy sandia seemed to be one of their popular ones so yeah. They even have punch cards, 5 times then of your 6th time, you get it free but it's only for regular items and sizes, no additional toppings or custom flavors.

I live so close to this place and after so long I finally decided I must try it! I went in about a month and a half ago, and I continue to return, almost daily! I am ADDICTED! My favorite is the mango chamoy ice… then I get a coupon for the spicy Sandia… DELICIOUS! This place is dangerous! I get the Honey dew ice for my daughter who is 2 and she loves it too. My inlaws and my husband also get treats when I go to— they don’t turn it down! So it must be a winner for them as well! Must go!

Ice cream was amazing, all though the employees looked very sloppy and Stinky. I noticed when we paid that the Guy that served us was wearing pajama bottoms!! Yuk!! I think all food environments need to wear a clean uniform and a mask!

Good variety of flavors, the wait can get long and not much room inside. Felt warm inside for an ice cream joint. Also found inconsistencies in the texture of the Ice. Our cotton candy was nice but the banana seemed rather thinner. Could've been from the overall temperature inside. They do upcharge 0.50 for card and apple pay :(

This is our favorite ice cream spot I would say it's probably the best ice cream spot on this side of town in Spring Valley. Me and my son come here at least two times or even three times a week. It's a hip place with young people and cool t-shirts they have different ones for the co-workers that I honestly would wear myself. They are always so nice and respectful we love this place it's home!

Sometime in August: I can NOT believe that I haven't written a review after the 10 + times I've been here since moving to the Vegas area in November. I LOVE ice cream, especially thick and creamy Frozen Custard paired with the spike of tart Italian Ice flavors. CJ's is amazingly original and clever with their marketing; pushing forward to success and opening two new locations. Killing it. Thank you CJ's for giving me a place to satisfy my extreme cravings for this frozen treat and providing a cool place to take friends and family to chill. UPDATE: 9/2/19 I just want to say CJ’s Italian Ice is the BEST. Secondly Sam, the Manager at the Durango location, is AMAZING and SO SWEET. Thank you for always being there for your loyal fans. May or may not get a CJ’S FOR LIFE tattoo, but ya know, we’ll see.

A huge variety of flavors for Italian ice, amazing/unique combos too! I got a boba Italian ice with vanilla custard on top. I've never seen anyone else do this, and it was AWESOME. My fiance got a classic twist on a pretzel cone and he said it was delicious.

Very small shop, little rough around the edges but its been around 6 yrs according to their IG page.. They do offer some fun out of the box flavors but I went with classic chocolate custard.

Fantastic Italian ice and custard place. Some of the wackiest flavors and waffle cones, cinnamon toast crunch, fruity pebbles, you name it. We had a chocolate malt, a Dole Whip(comes with cherries) and something called the Spicy Sandia. Which was nuts! Dole Whip, watermelon ice, tajin, tamarind, watermelon,and strawberry. It was cold,sweet, sour, spicy, and delicious!

This was my first time here. I got the lemon Italian ice which was delicious. The cotton candy Italian ice is super sweet. I tried the mango Italian ice and it was super sweet. There isn't a lot of available parking. There's an outdoor patio where you can sit and enjoy your purchase. They offer pints to go and ice cream bars. They have a variety of ice cream cones that are coated in Oreo, Rice Krispy Treats, Butterfinger, Reese's Pieces, etc. They also have Dole whip and custard. MAKE SURE YOU BRING CASH. Otherwise, you will be charged a fee for using your debit or credit card and even Apple Pay. I deducted 2 stars for charging a fee for using Apple Pay and credit and debit cards. If you're on this side of town give them a try. I wouldn't make a special trip to go there.

They had li hing mui!😍 Which is always a good topping when you're from Hawaii and you keep being deceived by tajin and chamoy🤣 we had mango with li hing mui & mochi, pineapple dole with li hing mui--both were yummy. My husband had captain America with mochi! Yum. They had lots of toppings to choose from, which I loved having options. And the service was great.

The banana fosters is absolutely amazing. The customer service is above average. The facility is clean. The establishment has a nice vibe, until you go to pay and then they add a 50 cent surcharge to any payment method other than cash including apple pay. I get credit card processors have fees, it is part of the cost of doing business. Charge .25 to .50 more on every item instead of causing a sour experience at the point of payment. Of course I did not take out my frustration on the workers and still tipped them, it isn't their fault I said nothing to them. This review is a message to the owners and other patrons. Seriously charge me more, I understand the cost of business. I don't like extra fees at the register. Another solution is to be like the gas stations and have a cash price and a credit price so you know up front.

The custard is good, but they have adapted to the pandemic poorly. They have dots on the floor for social distancing, but they crowd people together towards the register when taking people's orders to the point of it being shoulder-to-shoulder. It's extremely difficult to communicate through the plexiglass. A lot of miscommunication happens. Lastly, we redeemed our punch cards for quarts, but they only gave us pints.

CJs is THE spot for Italian ice and custard. I’ve been going to CJs for a while and each time the items continue to impress me. I like their costumer point system where you can obtain coupons and merch. The Italian ice is really well made, just perfect consistency and amount of sweetness. (I recommend the PP twist or the WAP) I get those in buckets to eat at home they are that good. Overall, even though they are understaffed the service is exceptional and you can get yummy sweets for a cheap price and nothing beats that.

We went for the first time today and it was delicious. The best frozen custard I have ever had. Friendly staff was knowledgeable of their product and provided excellent customer service. We split a banana boat between 2 people and it was more than enough. Looking forward to many more visits in the future.

Anybody on here who says this isn't the spot is just ignorant and has a personal problem. This place is so on point. The flavor is amazing and its so creamy and delicious. Whenever I get a sweet tooth this is where I go. I think it's awesome that they employ a young staff so that they can get experience at a young age working. The colors are fun and so is the decor. Everything you would hope for. I would post a picture of my desert but it's already gone 😅🤣😍😋. The brownies were so delicious with my custard oOoOO eeeee! Thank you Cjs!

I hadn't been in a while, and one visit was enough to remind me of how fabulously flavorful their treats are! They have gelati, Italian ice, frozen custard, such a great variety of flavors, as well as some wonderful specialty and extravagant creations. I've had many of their items, all tasty, yet this time had the Chamango...sooo good!!! Sweet and some tasty spice (you can ask them to adjust the spice if you need). The portion size was more than I could eat at one setting, so put part in the freezer for later (still just as great the next day). They also have packaged ready to take home items in the freezer. Friendly, inviting, helpful staff, neatly kept establishment, attentive to pandemic health and safety for both workers and patrons. Outdoor seating available. Great local business.

I really enjoy their delicious desserts. I would say that I treat myself about 1-2 per month. It never disappoints. I wish that the establishments were a little less dingy. Also they have a few sayings on the wall and sidewalks that I do not appreciate at all. I understand that they are fun, but it makes me not enjoy bringing my children with me as much when they are reading "lick me til ice cream" as they walk in.

This place is yummy! We go here even during winter season. Summer time it gets busy. Their custards are delicious. The bucket custards are worth getting but pricey. Don’t expect too much about the presentation, it’s nonexistent. You see foodies posting all the time how great it looks, but I never get anything like it.

They are almost too generous with the loyalty cards. After a few orders you will have free items. I hope they don't give away too much because I really want them to stay in business. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this place. The chamango is amazing and always a go to for my husband. I always get the rice krispy treat and its so simple but so delicious! BEST DOLE whip ever! My new favorite place! Ditch Fro Yo and come here instead. The dole whip is low in calories, non fat, does have sugar but a good alternative to ice cream. The custard concretes are amazing and they really load up your topping of choice mixed in. YUM!

The best ice cream spot in vegas! Really they should have a place somewhere on the strip it would do so well! (I'd invest in one!) The staff is awesome! The kids working here seem to really care and like their jobs. The social media is also very funny and creative! Just like their cups which always make me laugh. I try something new everytime and it's always amazing! Great place for kids, family, dates, stoners, or really anyone! Plus they have cool neon signs people would love for pics!

I understand getting backed up with orders and us ordering a lot. But having people have their orders done before yours because they had less to do is a bit rude, isn't it? Your custard is good but you need to be transparent about your waiting times and who's next in the queue for pickup. Online orders were getting theirs before ours and even cars showing up after we did got theirs. Know better than to order through the phone and just do what everyone else is doing so I don't wait a whole hour and drive across town.

Ya, it's good custard and they have fun treats but on a Friday night only 2 (INCREDIBLY SLOW MOVING) kids working with a line out the door?? Absolutely ZERO scoot in their boot. (We waited about 20 minutes and were 2nd in line!) Not worth the long wait. Look for fun, energetic kids to put behind the counter to get people in and out and drive that business and smile and have attitudes to match the fun goodies!

By the cup, the cone, or the quart, these folks know how to make some fantastic gourmet custard. And now they deliver anywhere within a 5 mile radius through DoorDash! (And I got a $5 discount on my first order with promo code "Vegas") Although there is no order minimum to get it delivered, my first order did have to be $20 or more to get the Vegas discount. Still, I am loving the flavors. I can literally get new one every single day, and get it delivered to my office. Sweet deal. Fantastic spot!

Very nice people here. Custard and italian ice is great. I love italian ice and this is one of the best places to get it in Las Vegas. They will let you sample the flavors too. I recommend trying a few before making a decision. Also get the custard with it. It's very creamy and thick. Just as it should be.

This is one of my favorite custard places to visit when I’m in Las Vegas. I use to live in Vegas and I would practically go here each week. The custard with the Italian ice is a great mix. A nice place to just hangout and chill especially when it’s hot out which is all of the time :) I highly recommend this place.

My first time order from this place. I was impressed I got the root beer Gelato. I got my daughter a pint of cherry gelato. And bought a quart of mango. We both have celiac disease.This is gluten free! Thank you so much . I did order at 630 pm on Uber eats and did not get my order til 8 pm. Well worth the wait! I’m so ready for more! Will have to do this weekly!

This place has really good custard. The Mango is really spicy and good. I like to add oreo pieces to the custard. The banana boat was really good, too. I suggest this location to any tourist or even locals in the area. My favorite part of this CJs is that you buy cake, more custard, and Italian ice in tubs. This ice cream restaurant is recommended for anyone young and old.

I love everything about it and all the vegan options, only slight concern is the customer service is kinda all over the place, I come a good couple times a week and each time is different customer service wise. sometimes it will be fantastic and other time I'll have people that straight ignore me and ask who next and then roll their eyes when I say me but other wise this place is great and always plays good music!

A multitude of delicious choices! We had the orange cream float, vanilla frozen custard in the bottom, topped with orange italian ice and served with a whole ice cold can of Sunkist orange soda you can pour on top. Heavenly! Tables inside and on the patio, your choice.

Absolutely the best vanilla custard I've ever had. The honeydew Italian ice was pretty amazing and so was the cantaloupe. Next I will be trying the mango if I can stop myself from getting a gallon of custard and eating it in my car. It's a must try for everyone. (The line is worth it)

My Wife had the rock pile. Great frozen treats. The even have, get this, Disney famous -"Dole Whip". We even took home a pint. It stayed frozen! Great staff, clean place. Really cool experience!

I was super sad to see Eat Coast transplant Rita’s Custard disappear from my home areas of LA and Vegas... just as I got introduced to the delicious wonder that is frozen custard! Best soft serve custard in town. Try the black cherry gelati. They have a monster challenge that needs to be tried. Win or lose you are forever immortalized in the winners or losers wall. The prices on the menu are the prices you pay. Tax is included in the menu price. Every place should do this. After 6 stamps you get a free item and if you fill up 10 card I believe you can get a free shirt. Stop by, grab some italian ice or custard, and hang out.
