The churros are absolutely delicious. They make them fresh to order, and that is literally the only way to eat them. However, we tried a few different food items and they were all pretty bland. This is definitely a “stick to the main item” kind of place. Tamales are NOT it. The staff was really nice. It’s a cute little shop.

We come here often for the churros. They’re delicious! Today was not so good. I treated my boys to the churro pops. They’re big but expensive and way too sweet. I also didn’t know they coat them in cinnamon and sugar first before dipping them into white chocolate then coating them. It never dried and my boys don’t like cinnamon and sugar on the churros. It was a big old mess and they didn’t even like them. $16 down the drain. Won’t be ordering those again. The biggest disappointment came when I ordered tamales. 2 for $5. I was excited because the churros are delicious so the food must be as well. Not today. First they were small then they weren’t fresh. I ate one thinking it wasn’t too bad but the second one was hard as a rock on both ends. I let the lady know. She had it remade. Hard again. Remade again. still hard. Third time is a charm right? Nope. It was soft on the outside but still cold in the middle. I gave up. They appear to be batch made then microwaved to order. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Not sure when we’ll be back. 4 stars because every other experience was great! I’m sorry for the not so positive review. I was honestly tired of continuing to wait for another churro. And I didn’t realize all of that was on the pops. The examples on display don’t appear to have sugar dusting.

We drove over an hour to come try this place.I was really excited to try something different.I ordered it online and came to pick it up.The atmosphere and the employees are really friendly.I ordered the Joe’s Burger Combo, Pineapple Mango Smoothie, Horchata, Churros, and Tamales. The Joe’s Burger was very flavorful, it had a nice little spice.The ingredients also felt very fresh.The fries were also fresh and were cooked to perfection. The Pineapple Mango Smoothie was delicious.It tasted very fresh and natural, it was the perfect balance of sweet.It also have popping boba, which was a nice little touch.I would definitely order again. The tamales were decent but a little expensive for me.The salsas that were included were very good though. The Horchata was pretty good.It was a little too sweet but that is okay as everybody likes it a certain way. The Churros were absolutely amazing.The sauces were good too, I got the hershey’s, nutella, and dulce de leche sauce.The Churros were really good and had a nice crunch to them but not too much. I would definitely come here again, even though the drive is an hour.The drive is definitely worth it.Thank you guys for an amazing experience and for being so friendly once I walked in.

We went to Angels for the first time and loved it! We got a 25 piece churros and got to try most of the dressing flavors which are all delicious. I also got a really good burger which I enjoyed on my way home. We definitely will be back soon. Everyone was very nice.

This place is amazing. They have such a wide selection of desserts and drinks. The atmosphere is calming, and the decor is eclectic and a bit artsy. The churros are absolutely amazing!!! Such great crunch on the outside, warm on the inside, and fantastic flavor. I cannot stop raving about them. Will definitely make this a regular spot.

Muy delicioso! I completely enjoyed the fresh hot churros that they serve and the flavors are extremely tasty. I recommend the churros with just sugar and nothing else with your choice of dipping. I recommend either chocolate or lechera condensada, which are my top favorites. They also have other items in the menu, which are great as well but the churros are what mostly stands out. The employees are extremely nice and helpful. Although it is a bit far from home, I’ll definitely come back for the churros and recommend it to anyone.

My family has been wanting to try this place and tonight we finally did. YUM! We will definitely come back. The churros were delicious, and not a bad price for the quantity. The churro pop (new menu item) was so pretty and much bigger than I expected, and my 3 year old thought it was too sweet so more for me haha. The fortune cookies were almost too pretty to eat, but I'm glad we did because that fortune was perfect haha. The chocolate banana wasn't my favorite, not because anything was wrong just because I wasn't expecting the texture of a frozen banana. So yes, we ordered a variety because it was our first visit, yes we loved it, and yes we'll be back! Can't wait to try the savory stuff next time.

I decided to have a Sunday Sojourn and head over to a recommended spot for sweets and open seats. Angel's Churros is definitely a mood. The ambience, the vibe, the music, and the comfort of it all on a rainy Sunday was everything I needed for a recap of my week. I read my book in peace as I was the only in there. If you like cafe vibes and a small crowd this is the spot. The churros were awesome and made to order. The mochi was everything! Such great customer service. Really, they were so accommodating. I'll be back again and again!

I can't believe I pass by Angel's so often but just visited for my firs time yesterday! These were the best churros that I have ever eaten. They were fried to order, so they never sat under a heat lamp all day. My order was crispy, fresh, and had a wonderful aroma due to the sugar and spices. Powered sugar and cinnamon are added to order, plus I used my choice of dipping sauce. I decided on chocolate, but I know that I'll try the raspberry on my next visit.

Went here for the first time and I must say they are the best! Family owned and operated, customer service was excellent. Very clean and nicely decorated. I tried the churros I had regular churros with cinnamon and sugar along with chocolate and nutella dipping sauces. I also tried the churro dipped in white chocolate! They’re made when you order so they’re always fresh. Will be back

So delicious and reasonably priced. The elote cup was very tasty and you can choose how spicey you want it. The kids loved their ice cream with a churro in it. We also tried a panini and it was freshly made.

Awesome service. They had some kinda of issue with the shape of the churros at first (they still tasted great just shaped a bit wonky) so they replaced our entire order without even asking. The churros aren’t coated in cinnamon sugar like I was used to, they were closer to funnel cake, but were amazing. Cool, family friendly atmosphere as well. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Always a great experience! This family owned business does to go orders but you'll be missing out on the fun authenticly Houston atmosphere. Can't say enough about how much I love this little place. Excellent service and wonderful desserts. It's definitely a little gem that you'll want to tell all your friends about!

Another Cypress hidden gem. Finally stopped at this place after driving by numerous times and not stopping. We tried the mochi, mango iced tea with jellies, and Bahn Mi pork sandwich. The pork Bahn mi was fantastic very fresh with all the right components. We also enjoyed the Mochi. There were lots of flavor choices. Great place lots of seating and nice local artist pieces. I’ll try this place again to try the churros and soon to come crepes.

Love the coffee and chocolate; really hit the spot. The Churros were nice and flavorful. The mochi are tasty, sweet, and rich in its flavor. Although, the red bean mochi was slightly bland. There are plenty of things to entertain yourself with, like games and dry erase markers+boards as the tables. Furthermore, the place is super cute! The artwork that they hang up on the walls are beautiful and purchasable.

I WILL SEE MY GIRL KELIA This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. The employees made me feel like I was at home after having been away for years. Love the decor. Delicious fresh churros with yummy dips and great taro milk tea with tapioca. Also tried all the macaroons, the raspberry was my favorite! It was tough to bite into but then it just melted in your mouth and it had raspberry jam inside!

This is a great place for you to indulge your sweet tooth. Their churros are perfectly cooked. I wanted to try something simple so I got their Churro combo with a Taro Milk Tea. For my dip I chose the wild flower honey. And I got cinnamon and sugar on my churros. It was delicious. They were cakey on the inside and jist the right crunch on out. The honey went well with it. Their taro milk tea was well made and really sweet. I loved it. It was mixed perfectly. My wife tried the Rocky Road Churro Sundae, which is a sundae with churros instead of bananas. It was very sweet and delicious. Had nuts and marshmallows, with hardened chocolate on the ice cream. Looking forward to our next visit when our sweet tooth is craving.

This place is a little hole in the wall, but with delicious food!! Drove 40 minutes, but so worth it! The churros are good, wish you guys had filled churros too. Customer service is exceptional and very informative about their menu. They have live music on Fridays from what I could see. Kids loved it and we will be back for sure!

I have been here several times and have never been disappointed with the churros and treats. I did have a large order mix up where they left out some of my order but I called them and they were very apologetic and said for me to come in anytime to pick up the rest of my order. I went back two weeks later and they remembered me and again were very apologetic and also gave me an extra order of churros. I really appreciated their great customer service and generosity. This is what I call excellent customer service and I will most definitely continue to give them my business!

Quantity of food is enormous, daughter ordered an ice cream cone that indicated 1 scoop of ice cream more like 4. Definitely sharing portions. The churros are delicious,the tamales were so flavorful. I give them a 10 the price a bit steep but if money not a concern just looking for a top notch tasting homemade tamale. This is the place

I met the owners Ericka and Joe at a wedding (they were in their Churros Cart) and I was happy to find out they had restaurant in our area. The place has a chill vibe and amazing Latin feel. Their food is incredible and I am still trying to work my way through their menu. If you want an amazing desert or snack, you have to try their churros and other snacks. Ericka told me their Burger is amazing, I can't wait to try it! Did I mention they cater too at special events and weddings! LOL They make their churros from scratch in front of the guest and their cart looks so cool!

At Angel's churros you get the most delicious, warm, soft yet crunchy churro at the same time, and if that weren't enough, you get an unmatched flavored ice cream to go with your "top of the line" churro. Absolutely LOVE this place. I love it so much that I had the churro cart at my wedding on Saturday. The churros were fresh and delicious. My guests can’t stop raving about them. I just tried their Tamales for the 1st time and they were so so good! They were seasoned to perfection, topped off with the red sauce was 🔥🔥🔥. I had been looking for a great tasting Tamale around the Houston area for quit some time now, and I finally found a great place to get them. The only down side was that it wasn't enough for the price. Only 2 Tamales for a little over 5 buck 😔. So if I wanted to buy 12 Tamales it will cost me over $30...... idk! That seems a little to pricey for me.. but hey they were good!!! Just wish I could of enjoyed more of them

1st place I've been in the U.S. that actually has churros y chocolate, and they're good too. They also have mochi like the Japanese ice cream stuff, and that was good too. On top of that, we went in there by chance because both the boba tea places near there didn't have boba, so when we saw this place and started ordering we realized that they sell boba, they hadn't run out, and they make better Vietnamese coffee than many of the Vietnamese restaurants we've been to. Highly recommended.

The art on their walls and section with items they sale from Mexico is so creative and convenient to buy! Why wait for the flea market to open to shop Mexican made products, when you can stop here for a shirt, sandals, mugs or mask! I love that!

Updated review (1 year later): Still in love with Angels'. The menu keeps growing and is unique. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Love the art and ambience. My family loves this place! Great atmosphere and delicious food options. We try something new every time and have yet to be disappointed. Highly recommend stopping by for a visit.

My neice loves this place. We get their boba drinks, churros, tamales, ice cream and drinks. Great place to come with kids, family or even date night for a quick bite. It's a small place and there is usually a short line but it moves fast and is well worth the wait.

The owner is always so inviting and sweet, her and her husband do what they do with their heart in the process. The atmosphere is so comfy and artistic, I never mind the wait 'cause theres always something to find and look at all around, and waiting can even be interactive as they have an art wall you can add to. The place is very clean everytime I go and the food and treats are SO GOOD and mouth watering. Whenever I wanna treat myself and my coworker, we go to Angels' Churros 👍

The ice cream with marshmallow, almonds, and chocolate shell was very good. It came with 2 churros on the side to top it off it was delicious. The bad part we sat in front and was a little hot inside. But I would recommend and come back.

This place is amazing! It has it all! The desserts are delicious. I recommend the mango mochi they are so flavorful, the dark chocolate macaroons are delicious and of course you can’t forget the fried oreos 😍🤤💖 But overall the customer service is the best! They are so friendly and you feel at home and the decorations and environment is stunning as well. Definitely coming back!

This has been one of the best experience I'd had. The churros are awesome, the Mexican hot chocolate is on another level. I'm kind of picky on hot chocolate but this was one of the best. My son and I went here about a week ago and our experience was amazing. We used to live in the neighborhood and would stop in as often as possible. I love the churros and my son loves the mochi. After not being in for awhile we weren't sure what all we wanted and the lady taking care of us was super patient and helped us decide. Well worth the drive to visit one of our favorite places again. Easily the best restaurant in town. STELLAR service, food that would make a 5 star chef jealous, and an atmosphere that can only be described as safe, I've been coming to this restaurant for years and will continue eating here for years to come. HIGHLY recommend their waffles, honeydew popping tea, and burgers. The tree of life smoothie is a personal favorite but that one might just be a matter of taste.

The place looks very cozy and very Artesanal. The menu has a variety if you want a quick bite or cravings for dessert. This place offers coffee, herbal teas desserts and ice cream. I went on a Friday and they had a guy playing the piano. The only reason why I give this shop 3* is because the service is so so slow. They need to learn to managed a lot more with the efficiency to the customers.

Everything we tried was delicious!! The Tour de Mexico gave us the opportunity to try 3 different ice creams as well as 2 churros. The line was long but the wait time was not too bad. The inside was decorated very nicely with art, messages on the floor, and angel wings throughout.

This place is awesome! The manager, Gretchen, is super nice and even though we came in 2-3 minutes prior to closing, she served us with a smile! The staff is really friendly and look like they want to be here. Don't be mistaken by the name! There's more than chocolate here! I was delighted to learn that mochis are a part of the menu. If you have a sweet tooth or a craving for something sugary, then this is your place. It's an American twist on the Mexican churro. Their menu has lots of unique deserts, and you can customize your order to suit your craving. The staff were friendly, so anyone of any walk of life would feel welcome. The prices all depend on how elaborate you get with your order. The décor inside is eclectic, there is a mix of textures on the wall coverings, bright colors and different paintings, so there is lots to take in. The seating is kind of limited, since this is a small shop, but cozy. Take an extra lap around your couch, or loosen your belt to make room for this churro fest.

Tried it out for the first time as we saw the sign driving by. We had a turkey panini with churros and a hot chocolate. Everything tastes really good. It’s a novel place for churros. I would like to see the traditional preparation for the churro (granulated sugar with cinnamon). We had it with powdered sugar and cinnamon which is different from how you’d eat it at a traditional restaurant. The order was made fresh. We will be returning.

We just discovered this little place last week as we were picking up pizza from one of their neighbors. We made another trip today, even though it is not close and a bit of a drive. Their churros are hot and fresh and their homemade dulce de leche and caramel are AMAZING! To top it off they have the best iced coffee you will find. This will be one of our regular snack/dessert/coffee spots! I’m sure we’ll try the rest of their menu at some point, as well.

The interiors of this place were mesmerizing from the white lanterns to the various arts that was displayed on the walls. The surface of the tables were of boardgames design. The ambience made you feel like you're in heaven. The girl at the front was friendly and said their Nutella dip was popular with the five churros. You can also pick another dip. She said that the pineapple dip was new. Although I didn't quite like the pineapple dip but the Nutella went well with the churros. The churros were made fresh. There was a man that was making the churros on the side. The churros came out crunchy although not the best churros in my opinion. Overall, a nice place to grab desserts. It was pretty empty on a weekend night but slowly people started to come in. The plaza itself was empty too. My biggest impression of this place was the decor from top to bottom.

I passed by this place a few times and was finally curious enough to come in. I went with my sister and the inside look great and cozy. We were greeted happily by the workers even though we came in about an hour before closing. The worker, Liz I believe her name is, was really cool to us. My sister and I were delighted in seeing mochi ice cream since the only time we saw them were at Japanese restaurants. I believe she told us that they get the mochi imported from Japan. We have been here several times since they opened and the churros have been delicious each time. They are definitely consistent. We've had other items on their menu such as their coffee, hot chocolate, mochi ice cream, gelato, and Belgian chocolates and can not complain about anything weve tried as of yet. The owner is wonderfully warm and personable with his patrons. He's got a great staff working for him as well, Gretchen the manager and her "dream team" (lol) did a great job making sure we were satisfied with everything we ordered tonight. Their customer service is greatly appreciated. At times they have a gentleman here who plays guitar and sings live and he is excellent as well, they should keep asking him to play here as it makes for a great lively ambience. One of the guys that worked there, his name was Jeremy, explained the whole menu to me and was very helpful. Overall outstanding service. We got our food out really quick, we ordered churros, mochi, and two milk teas. The milkteas were absolutely to die for but the mochi were a little weird but aside still good, and the churros were very tasty (just like how my mom used to make them). Glad i finally have a place to bring my wife to have some churros! Will definetly be coming back and will recommend to friends.

The first time I went I got the hot Cheetos fries and the churro with the ice cream, those were good and then the next visit I got the iced coffee and elote for to go, the packaging for the elote was terrible it was in a flimsy plastic cup with a lid which came off easily and made a mess in my friends car. Cute little place tucked away in an unassuming shopping strip off Barker Cypress. We've been waiting for this place to open for such a long and i'm so glad it did; I can't think of another place as unique as this anywhere! They offer a wide selection of sweets including drinks, chocolates, etc. The main star though is the fresh made churros (you can see them make it through the glass display!) served with condensed milk (?) and chocolate dipping sauces. What really strikes you when you walk in here is how well the entire place has been decorated. The entire place has a wood decor and is lined full of character with pictures/paintings. Hanging from the high ceilings are beautiful paper lanterns, giving the entire place a nice lighting. Highly recommend.

went to get churros with my friends after I donated blood at the Berry Center for the victims in El Paso. Immediately upon arrival I went to use the restroom as I had been unable to pee for the past 3 hours. I then proceeded to pass out on the bathroom floor. All i remember is turning on the light and closing the door and next thing i know, i’m laying on the ground against the wall, and the trash can is knocked over on the ground. Luckily this happened before I pulled down my pants to pee. The bathroom was really clean, especially the floor. (Trust me, i got up close and personal with it). After my pleasant bathroom experience I ate some churros and drank some water. 10/10 best churros i’ve ever had. Made the whole passing out experience feel a whole lot better. 11/10 recommend. I definitely will be returning in the future, hopefully i won’t pass out next time.
