Such a delicious and fun dessert!! The staff were extremely friendly and took a lot of care preparing our desserts, they even completely scraped and cleaned a separate prep station for my rolled ice cream because I have a dairy allergy. The non-dairy substitute was creamy and delicious, highly recommend this place!!

I added a little mix to my ice cream and it was delicious. Strawberry shortcake with fruity pebbles, Oreos, and graham crackers. Didn’t want the fruity pebbles and they were going to remake it but I didn’t want the young lady to have to go through the process all over again. Good customer service!

Was great, but unfortunately, they are severely understaffed. We went at 9pm on a Friday with 8 people and the whole experience took an hour not including eating or waiting to order. It was just waiting to get our order. The store is also extremely hot. Not sure if the ac was broken but believe it or not, outside was way cooler. Strange for an icecream place. Staff was nice and they were trying their best given the hot and humid store.

They have non dairy options which is awesome and the ice cream rolls (they basically pour cream and the added ingredients you want onto a freezing surface and roll it around until it freezes) are unique to other kinds of ice cream, a bit creamier and very sweet. They have TONS of options for topping and ingredients. Too many for indecisive ppl like me lol. Sadly though the process of making the ice cream takes a while, so if you order several and there are people in front of you the wait can be pretty long. Like 20+ mins long for 4 ice creams. So while it was tasty, to me it wasn't worth having to wait so long.

My kids loved the rolled ice cream here. The only comment from my daughter was that the green tea flavor was lacking, could have been stronger. Aside from that everything else about the ice cream was good. You do have to know however that due to the process of making the rolls, it's a decent wait and usually they have long lines.

My husband and I shared the Maikai ‘N Da Coffee creation and it was yummy! Their ice cream is smooth and creamy and their toppings paired nicely. The coffee ice cream is a punch of flavor, tastes just like a strong cup of coffee, I don’t think there was enough toppings however. Fun place if your looking for roll up ice cream.

First Thai style rolled Ice Cream shop to hit Hawaii. They have been a hit doing the craft fair and street food circuit and finally opened up a brick and mortar here on Kona Street (the old Ailana Shave Ice location). A must see/try!

Following the trendy dessert train, comes Sweet Creams, a frozen rolled ice cream style popularized in Asia and specifically Thailand. Although I love the idea behind this treat, I was disappointed in the somewhat bland flavor of the ice cream. I had hoped for a more creamy desert but sadly did not experience this. The graham crackers were a bit stale and not crunchy as expected. If you are looking to try something unique than SC is fun. If you're looking to relive your Asia experience, you'll need to wait until your next overseas trip.

The ice cream was delicious! It's made in front of you, like cold stone but 10x better and more interesting. I got the dragonfruit flavor, and it was so worth it. Great for kids and adults. The place is kinda hard to find if you don't know where it is though.

You might be familiar with Cold Stone Creamery, particularly if you're from the mainland. Sweet Creams is Cold Stone on crack. The ice cream is put on the stone and rolled into thin strips. You get 4 toppings and some can be mixed in to your ice cream. Please come here for ice cream -- definitely instead of going to Cold Stone (if there's any even remaining on Oahu).

My order tasted way better than I thought it would, figuring it was just a different way to do ice cream. Not much options are available, but nonetheless, still really delicious. If anything, there's an option to make a custom bowl. Was a really long wait, but it was kind of worth it.

Fun and different approach to ice cream. Shop was clean, but a little small and cramped. The staff were friendly and seemed well trained in food handling as well as customer service. Good varieties of flavors to choose from as well as different portion sizes. Price point wasn't out of line for the labor involved.

Tried it for the first time and it was really good! I got their Strawberry Shortcake and was impressed by the flavor and presentation. The ice cream also doesn't melt fast and the spoons change color when the ice cream touches it. A cute place for a sweet treat.

Although we had to wait for 2 hours... it wasn't due to the employees it was that the only had two machines working rather than 4. The employees worked two more hours pass the closing time to have all patrons not regret their wait time! And the ice cream was amazing. Had the original cookies and cream and it was awesome! Great desert place. Good way to also meet people as patient as you.

Fun little spot to have roiled ice cream. I was amused by the rolling of the ice cream. My fiancée wanted to go get seconds so we decided we will come tomorrow to get more. The quality of the ice cream isn’t top tier like Haagen Das but it’s still really good. Highly recommended if you’re visiting or even living here long term.

Came here for those novelty ice cream rolls that were populating instagram for a while. While the staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were quite slow at making the ice cream rolls. While it's initially pretty to look at, I found the rolls themselves to be difficult to eat with the tiny spoons we were provided, and after a few minutes, the ice cream melts so it loses the interesting look.

Tasty ice cream, high quality recipes and very polite employees. Wait time is huge though so beware. The clientele is frequently loud, rude, and difficult to bear, especially since you're in such close proximity throughout your experience there. Overall a good place but definitely avoid coming here if you see a line out of the door.

Our family loves this rolled ice cream spot! The parking is a bit tight, but it's worth the squeeze to get our hands on this lovely treat. There are some yummy menu items like the "love you so matcha" or the "cookies n cream" or you can go all out and select your own base and add-ons. Everyone in my family enjoys something a little different and the staff is quick to deliver our favorites. Don't forget to get a stamp card so you can earn some free ice cream - you'll definitely want to come back for more!

I've wanted to try one of these "anti-griddle" (cold plate) ice cream places for a while. Tbh it's just a gimmick method that doesn't produce superior ice cream, but it's fun to watch. A good place to bring kids to perhaps. But I wouldn't return just for the ice cream. On the bright side, I'm pretty sure I saw Tito from Rocket Power there.

Eh. Its a little pricey. Its rolled ice cream. My daughter liked it but it was just okay for me. Flavors weren't very pronounce. Seemed like small portions for the price.

Nothing special. Flavors were okay, I had the strawberry shortcake. I find that the fruity pebbles toppings were overpowering and did nothing to enhance the flavor of the ice cream. The selections were meager and the way they roll ice cream is a novelty that would likely die down like all the other trendy places.

Very good ice cream rolls. Poor location and long wait. There isn't really anywhere enjoyable to eat your great but a hot parking lot and if you tried to walk to a la Moana park to enjoy it it would be melted.

So fun and worth the wait! The flavors are tasty - we had the Love You So Matcha, the Monkey ‘N Around, & the Maikai’N Da Coffee flavors. All so tasty & fun to watch them. The wait was a bit long but those guys stayed until every last person was served. Great attitudes, food & fun!

Very tiny shop but the ice cream is good. They have a variety of toppings & drizzles. But I think the main base flavors are : Hot Chocolate, Milk Tea, Matcha & Coffee. After a day of shopping in Ala Moana, this is a good place to check out. Very LIMITED parking so I suggest park at the mall and then walk to it.

Sweet Creams makes ice cream rolls like the ones from Thailand that you have probably seen in Facebook videos. I have been stalking Sweet Creams @sweetcreams808 on Instagram for quite some time now and to my dismay could never make one of their pop-ups! I seriously even considered hiring them for an event, but my kids didn't want to celebrate their birthdays 4 and 11 months ahead. Party poopers. But great news for ice cream lovers everywhere is that Sweet Creams will be opening across from Ala Moana Shopping Center on 1430 Kona Street, next door to Manichi Ramen. Their soft opening will be this Friday, February 10 and their Grand Opening Saturday, February 18. At their VIP event, my son and I got to try their most popular three flavors: cookies n cream, strawberry shortcake, and pineapple 5-0. Cade is a big fan of oreos so he loved the cookies and cream. For me, I enjoyed the fruit flavors more. The ice cream is not as thick as I am used to, but still so creamy. I like that they are using fresh ingredients and that I can customize my order. Can't wait to return

Roll out... Roll out... This is the first place in Hawaii that has this type of rolled ice cream. This style of ice cream originated in Thailand I believe. This place had various pop ups at events like at Rice Festival and Pearlridge but this is their first actual location. It's the old Ailana shave ice location by Manichi Ramen. They have their own parking lot. It's super interesting to watch them make the ice cream. It's kind of like Cold Stone but much more entertaining. They pour liquid and mix ingredients onto this super cold metal surface so that it hardens. After it hardens, they scrape it up and make it into rolls and add toppings. It's a super cool concept, fun to watch and looks really yummy. The only drawback for me is that it's super sweet, much sweeter than ice cream in my opinion and too sweet for me. Prices range from $5-$7.50. You can get either a keiki or regular size. You can easily share a regular unless you're a dessert person. You can choose from one of their 6 flavors or create your own. Flavors: cookies and cream, strawberry shortcake, frozen hot chocolate, love you so matcha, pineapple 5-0 or monkey n' around. If you create your own: First choose any base (original, hot chocolate or matcha). Then chop one ingredient and then choose three toppings. Decent place. To me, everything about this place is a flash-in-the-pan type of place. It's fun to watch them make it, so it's similar to Nitrogenie. But it also takes them 10 minutes per item. It's not worth the wait. The taste and texture is simply not as good as gelato or Haagen-Dazs. It's worth trying once, but I won't be back. Enjoy it while it's still in business.

First time here. They have pictures of different the different preset cups to help you pick and choose and i think it was 7.25 for adults and 6.00 for kids. I loved their "monkey'n around". I'll be back!

We went here on a saturday afternoon around 3pm, waited in line for about 45 minutes. We got our goodies , quickly devoured it. Good icecream, but in the end, it was just icecream like anywhere else honestly.

10/10 best rolled ice cream in the world. It's so creamy and full of flavor!! I immediately wanted to go back and order more and so did my husband!

The kids said they wanted to eat iron plate ice cream, so I went there. It's fun to watch and tastes good! You can choose each flavor and topping yourself, or if you don't like all of them, you can choose from a combination of menus. I tried four and they were all delicious, and the size of the cake wasn't too small. Parking is available right in front, and there are no indoor seats, and there is a bench in front of the store- As of August 2022, no more than four people are allowed to enter the store at once.

It's across the parking lot of Ala Moana Shopping Center, but it's not along the road. The closest one to the road was a dumpling shop. Start making and complete in a little over 2 minutes! I ordered strawberry and it was lighter than I expected. I had the impression that there were many locals, but the Japanese correspondence was perfect.

You can eat roll ice cream, which is popular in Japan. The shop is small, but you can eat it without waiting, and there are many toppings, so it's fun to eat.

I got lost! It is a little off from the point that appeared on Google Maps. Not immediately visible from the street. This time I went with my child! There was a stepping stool for children so that they could see what they were making. Impressed by this! However, when I tried to see it, the staff member didn't like being seen, and he looked disgusted. smile The products were beautifully made, but the store is small, so if you line up for a while, you have to go out of the store. The eat-in had about 8 table seats and about 2 counter seats. It's a little narrow, but it looks good on social media (^_^;)

First, make a flavored liquid, then spread and roll it on a cold iron plate to make ice cream. It's fun just to look at it, but at the end, it's nice to roll it up from the iron plate! Less Japanese? When I said it, it was a clerk who talked to me very friendly.
