Bought about a pound of truffles from Kilwins and have not been disappointed with them at all. We've enjoyed nearly every single one. Some truffles, like the malt, Irish cream, and Bavarian cream, are all pretty non-descript. The raspberry, caramels, orange cream, and cordials have been the best in flavors. The service was kind and knowledgeable.

Jason and Brit were awesome! We are in Grand Rapids for two nights. My friend and I stopped in the store the first night for some Christmas presents. They both were super helpful. We were so impressed that we returned the second night to buy some goodies for ourselves. We definitely will be back! ❤️

I love the ambiance. Whatever they make is bent with chocolate and Here comes my recommendation: hot chocolate. You cannot find anywhere in Grand rapids with the same taste it is in matchable, must try drink. Note: If your student, just show ur college ID card and get 10% off

Walking into this place makes you want to taste every thing. We had ice cream and a sea salt/caramel/ chocolate candy apple. OMG...the ice cream was delicious and the caramel apple was to die for❤️❤️❤️.

Nice old fashioned ice cream. For me the portion was too big! Their chocolates are too sweet for me but also with this small issues I give 5 start, I loved the taste of the ice cream

I had a delicious and fun time! We went in on a slower evening so we stayed to eat out treats and had lovely interactions with the team. We were asking a few questions about the equipment and learned about some of the things that they make fresh on site! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I love this place reminds me of home and downtown St. Joe! I cannot get away from my 3 favorite ice cream flavors, Superman, Blue Moon, and Pecan Praline! Hubby always tries something new this time it was Pumpkin Pie...Sorry no pics it was very humid this day and we had to park down the street and around the corner so we had to eat fast lol!

Glad I found this place to cool off from the summer heat. Great tasting fresh ice cream and great customer service I ordered the Mackanaw Fudge and the Toasted coconut and was satisfied with the quality , price , and portions.

I've enjoyed every Kilwins store I've visited, but this one was especially great. Aside from the large assortment of chocolates and ice cream, the staff were exceptionally friendly. Service here was amazing, and one staff member even had pronouns listed on their name tag. It would be great to see more places allow and encourage this. Service is also very quick, so you're able to get in and out with ease.

The fudge had dried out but they gave me a full refund and cut off some fresh pieces of another bar for me to have something to take with me. Kilwins is my favorite spot for something sweet and they stand behind their product. Which I find to be a rarity these days!! Thank you Brittany!!

Great ice cream and chocolate shop with friendly patient employees in downtown Grand Rapids! Ice cream flavors rotate and consist of traditional flavors like chocolate and vanilla, as well as Michigan staples like Blue Moon, and more adventurous flavors like S'mores. I tried the Marsh Mallow S'mores and Fudge Brownie on a waffle cone. The S'mores ice cream was awesome, it was light and fluffy without being overly sweet. Fudge Brownie was decent, good but nothing spectacular, more actual brownie pieces would have improved it. Waffle cone tasted fresh. For better or worse (I actually love it), nutritional information is prominently displayed on the ice cream case and menus. Scoops are very large. I didn't have an opportunity to try any of the assorted chocolate, fudge, or caramel apples but there is an excellent selection! This is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth both "now" with an ice cream cone and "later" with some fudge or chocolate truffles!

I had no idea what this place was when my friend received a pick up for uber eats. To my delight,it was a fudge shop!! They gave us a sample of chocolate and black walnuts. Sooo good! I will be going back soon for myself! Yum!!

Always looking for a sweet treat when I travel and I was thrilled to find this Kilwins across the street from the Amway Grand Hotel - nice place, good treats, excellent ice cream. Sure, it's a little pricey, but the portions are good sized and the ice cream was excellent. If you're visiting Grand Rapids and want something sweet, check out Kilwins, I'm glad I did.

This place is so much better since they got new owners. It's still pricey, but the shop isn't running out of vanilla ice cream and spoons in the middle of Art Prize and you don't have to watch staff shovel double dipped sample spoons full of ice cream straight from the cooler into their mouth while you wait. Big thanks to the new owners for turning the place around!

Great chocolate. Don't seem to track who is in line and who is not. I was fist in the store with about a dozen people and 3rd to get in line, and waited for about ten minutes to get waited on while other people entered the store after I was In line and they got waited on before me. They might need a number system or something.

What a place! Sweetest spot on the city! Great chocolates, fudges, and even the best place for heavenly ice cream! You can serve it up in a waffle bowl or just have fun with it. So take a break from the day and relax down on Monroe.

Delicious ice cream, reasonable prices, and great customer service equal Kilwins. I arrived in the city today from Birmingham, AL and desperately needed some ice cream. So, my family and I stopped by the cream shop and had an amazing experience. We even parked illegally to get a creamy taste of Grand Rapid, MI. Thanks to all the workers at Kilwins.

We have a Kilwins near me in Geneva, IL so I knew the second I saw the Kilwins sign in Grand Rapids that we were in for a treat. Kilwins serves the very best ice cream and they even hand-craft delicious chocolates and fudge. We stopped in for a delicious ice cream treat (I believe I had black cherry), but I love all the candies they make right in from of your eyes. They have seating indoors and on an outside patio when the weather’s nice. Definitely stop in if you’ve got a sweet tooth!
