Amazing Ice cream. Great prices. Absolutely delicious. ⚠️ ONE IMPORTANT SUGGESTION ⚠️ don't order your ice cream in a waffle cone if you're going to be driving. It's too tall to stand up in the cup holder and it's really difficult to drive while holding it. When I went there last time, the cashier wasn't the most friendly, but not because she wasn't trying. I don't think English was her first language. I'm thankful for her effort and I'm glad BR gave her a place to work despite her having a small language barrier. ❤ I'm being not sponsored or compensated by BR for commenting this, I just think Baskin Robins is absolutely amazing. If I could give it 6 out of 5 stars then I would. I had the flavors Secret admirer and Strawberry Cheesecake. 10/10 🍦🤤

Was super disappointed when visiting from CR as we wanted to get some of the flavor of the month, Oreo S’mores and they were already out. Good service though and a consolation of Oreo coffee.

When we walked in there were several people coming in behind us both the workers were willing to help us right away And even replaced my 4 year old granddaughter's scoop that fell on the floor.

We ordered an icecream cake for our daughters 7th birthday. Pick up time was 2:00, I got there close to 2:30 and our cake was not ready, they explained the cake person called in and they were working on getting caught up because they had to figure out how to use the decorating tools. They quickly got to work on it and had it done in 10 minutes and apologized many times for the wait. The cake was delicious and the customer service was wonderful, even with the wait. Was my experience perfect, no not by definition but what was perfect was the opportunity to show kindness in a situation where not everyone would. This is the new norm, unexpected delays slower than normal service due to the nationwide staffing issues, unexpected illness and mishaps. We are all in this together and doing the best we can, especially small business. I was show this tonight with my experience and watching how hard the assumed owners were working to get things done and make things right for their customers because they truly value their business and customers.

Some amazing ice cream choices and flavors! The gal that was working tonight did great, was super friendly, and (since we had a rambunctious child with us) was very patient while we sat and had our ice cream. She made sure that, even though she had customers up around looking at the choices, she said bye to us and thanked us for stopping in. Definitely recommend, plus they have dairy free/vegan options!

Great when they have ready to go quarts, but one time I went in to the store and their freezer was out of order. They offered their hand packed ice cream, but they were not going to do it for the same price. Another time I went in here to get one of the specialty flavors to take home, the person who packed the quart left quite a bit of air in the container. I still go in there, but not as often as I used to.

I got a two dip dish of ice cream and my friend got a two dip sundae. The sundae costs more, but the size of the dips were about half the size of my dips. You could say, they double dipped at half rate. We were left feeling, my friend did NOT get the value, that we paid for. Though the ice cream was good, the experience was not good for us.

I chose a sugar free ice cream, which was tasty, but I had an upset digestive system afterwards. The store was tidy and organized. They were out of waffle cones, but had an adequate substitute. The rest of the experience was pleasant.

Nice and clean Baskin Robbins. Big selection of flavors and in good stock. Noticed no brownies available and cookies looked like they had sat and dried out some. Prices seemed high for the ice cream, even on the only sale date of the month, the 31st. Discount prices when one or more scoops being purchased didn't really seem to reduce cost much. Specialty items seemed very overpriced.

I've had several great experiences at this location. However I stopped one night with a friend about 30min closing to quickly grab a scoop with a friend who had never had BR. We were rudely told they were closed. We had just seen others exiting as I was getting it of my car and the Open sign was still lit. When I mentioned this, the woman said they'd been closing early all week but made no other comment and asked us to leave.

31 flavors is where it's at. This location has been around forever for a reason. Clean. Friendly staff. Sample different flavors. Ice cream clown cone in the freezer like when I was a child. I enjoyed my cone!

I'm not a huge icecream person but wow they have all those flavors! I had pineapple coconut icecream in a small cone it was very good! They had sherbert and smoothies too. They even had vegan icecream if you are into that!

Usually pretty busy at night but different flavors always stocked with prompt friendly service. Best part is they have sorbet and frozen yogurt as opposed to the communists at Dairy Queen who no longer do.

They were super busy and the line went all the way back to the door and people kept coming for 2 hours. There was only one girl working but she kept her cool and waited on everyone with a smile. I think she deserves a big raise. She kept everyone happy and no one got upset.

The ice cream was DELISH!! BUT, my cone was empty!!! WTH??? He didn't stuff it??? Who does such things? Ok ok ok, maybe I didn't need that little extra couple ounces...But all ice cream afficiandos know: pack the cone!! It was really yummy too, gosh....I highly recommend 'date night,' flavor! 4 stars, because I am getting more reserved with my stars.

I love baskin robbins ice cream!!! This location was pretty busy when I came in, probably cause of the promos for the 31st. Waited on pretty quickly. I was a bit disappointed because I went in for the 56 oz pre packed containers of ice cream for $9.99 but the young lady said she had no idea what I was talking about. Showed her the app but she said she had no idea and didn't think she could give me that price...but I still got a couple pre packed quarts for home and a couple of scoops, for good prices with the promos.

2nd time I've been here since moving to the area, the ice cream itself is great, the service leaves something to be desired. Neither of the young ladies who helped me smiled and hardly spoke. They weren't rude, just not friendly.

My favorite is the Pistachio Almond in a plain waffle cone. My only comment is the lack of a coherent serving line. The register is in the middle with refrigerators on either side. Customers line the refrigerators on either side whether they're selecting their purchase or trying to pay. No problem with a few customers, but chaotic when there's a mob.

I grew up eating Baskin-Robbins ice cream as far back as when there was one on Ingersoll ave. Never ever have I been disappointed until now, why??? Well I will tell you: The last few times I've been to the one remaining BR. BR was out of ingredients/tops, once they were out of banana's and on a different day they were out of fudge toppings. I've notice there was ALWAYS a "Help wanted" sign. I use to think: it was because of a minimum wage thing. But tonight the mystery of the perpetual "Help wanted" sign was solved. In front of the store, outside looking thru the glass was the owner. Obviously creeping on his employees. He was watching through the window for a very long time. No one wants to eat their ice cream while driving but then again No one deserves to have their ice cream experience ruined with creepers looking thru the windows

We usually hit this place every time we come to Des Moines. Every time we ask the owner to open one up in Waterloo cuz ours closed down years ago. The staff and owners are great people and are always a pleasure to visit with when we stop.

BR products as expected, but the "scoop" size seems to have shrunk significantly. Also, I kept thinking there was something in the ice cream that was strange, like paper. I'm guessing it was the wax paper from the tub lining, like they scraped the edge a bit too hard.
