My favorite spot in Olde Town. The name speaks for their ice cream. I love how they will make just about any flavor. I went in once and there was a dill pickle flavor. I asked the employee if it was and good, and their response was, "we wouldn't make it if it wasn't good." And they were correct. The candy selection is insane, although not always the most fresh. They also have really cool art for sale made by a local artist. A must stop if you're in the area.

This place makes there own ice cream and has different types flavors that rotate on having. It is very delicious and there also lots to of candy like jelly beans and so many other types of candy in bulk, as well as candy bars that are difficult to get elsewhere. There is seating inside and outside as well. The service is always very good, you won't be disappointed going there!!

This is such a nice little shop, with great ice cream flavors and a large candy selection. Lots of interesting/unique candies that you can't find anywhere else. I always try to pop in here whenever going to Old Towne. Would definitely recommend!

Scrumptious has really good ice cream but is a little expensive. There are some unique flavors. The candy store is in the same building. Anything you can think of in candy, they have, even all the old favorites and some fun novelty items too! Great place to find a crazy gift. Nice place to visit. Fun place. Great homemade ice cream. We got Root Beer and Butterfinger. Both unique and delicious. Lots of vintage candy for sale. Outdoor and indoor seating. Located in Arvada's Old Town district so lots of surrounding small shops

Charming! The variety of candies was really nice but the regular kinds you can get at any store were somewhat overpriced. The ice cream to-go lids have holes in them for whatever reason and it spilled on the way home :(

Way cool ice cream venue right off the light rail in old town Arvada. Excellent price, with a decent selection of home made ice cream. If there's any draw back it would be you can't fall in love with a flavor because they rotate them in and out. But what it really means is, you'll have to visit more often! Insider tip: You gotta try the "Elvis"!

Great local candy store. Tons of fun stuff besides candy. Pretty cool artwork, swag, and of course - tons of candy. Ice cream is all pretty good. Black Cherry Chocolate Chip was my favorite. Decently priced, although some candy can get up there. Suggestion , you need to carry Kinder products! Would buy them every time!

Personally I go for the homemade ice cream and glass bottle sodas. The ice cream flavors are different every day and some, like my favorite "blackout," have whiskey or bourbon mixed into the batch. The candy store is nostalgic where else can you still find sour razzles and hometown artwork?

LOVE the bulk candy selection at Scrumptious, and the atmosphere is fun. More importantly, I made a huge error and contacted Scrumptious after our visit, thinking I had been charged a tip by an employee without leaving one. Not only was I wrong, but the management (or ownership; whomever I was speaking with) was gracious and timely in their response. Highly recommend Scrumptious for their great selection AND for their lovely staff.

It's a little expensive as all "boutique" ice cream shops are, but they've got a wide selection of candy, some of which you won't find anywhere else in the city. They're also very generous with scoop sizes, kids size is huge!

The selection of candy is great, and the ice cream is fantastic, but what really makes it great is the atmosphere and the staff. If you love ice cream, stop by for some of the best in Colorado. Flavors are always tough to pick and change all the time. You can get Vanilla, but you may find some delicious "Elvis" combinations you'd thought no one would dare dream to serve. If you love candy, stop by for a giant selection of both current and nostalgic treats that aren't too highly priced. Bulk candy, jelly beans, chocolate oranges, ZAGNUTS! If you love unique gifts or flair for your suspenders, stop by for that, too. They have surreal pop art for sale and oddball items that even if you don't purchase, you'll look at, show someone in your party, and wonder, who thought to create such a fun item. Bottom line, enjoy this, MUST GO location in Olde Town, any time you're in Olde Town.

The candy selection is pretty good, not the largest in the area, but quality is far better than what you find at other comparable candy and cream joints. Where this place really shines is atmosphere and it is second to none in the sweet scene, chilled out in more ways than one. They have prints of incredible character art that you will be amused, shocked, and delighted by as well.

Flavors an texture of the ice cream were so good! Very smooth and creamy. Also respected the workers for following social distancing and mask usage. They told guests to wait outside if they hit capacity and also told a few people to put their mask on. Felt very safe.

No matter what age, when you walk in this ice cream and candy shop, you become a kid in a candy store. I love their unique flavors (from amaretto to whiskey, to almond, to one called Elvis) and of course they have a selection of traditional flavors as well. You can even request a flavor to be made! In addition to ice cream, they have an abundance of candy and chocolate, framed prints from a local artist, and t-shirts. Scrumptious is a great place to spend a beautiful day or warm summer night with the family or on a date.

This is a very cool, nostalgic candy shop that is like taking a trip down memory lane for anyone of any age. You can hear conversation all over the store about the excitement of finding confections from early childhood. The only downside is cost, which is also a reminder of the inflation seen over a lifetime. As nice as the candy selection, our family and friends all love the handmade ice cream, which is unbeatable, and definitely worth every penny!

Love this place! I feel like I was taking a trip down memory lane, of when I was a just a kid with a quarter in my hand and running to the corner store to see how much candy I can buy. The candy selection is pretty amazing; I don't know many of the brands/makes of the candy this place has on sale. The ice cream is pretty good too; the vanilla with cardamom was an interesting twist on a classic flavor.

The milkshakes were delicious! Try mixing colors and cream with their caramel cheesecake ice cream! Needless to say they have ice cream in addition to candy. The candy variety is good, too, though it is a bit pricey. But they pretty much have anything you could want.

This place has some of the best and most unique ice cream ever! First time at this location, but the ice cream, customer service and overall designs are there same. They also offer a wide variety of vintage and ecclectic candy. As a side note, if you are a chocolate lover, you MUST try Blackout! Simply the best chocolate ice cream ever (in my humble opinion). Remember however that most of their flavors are a limited release rotation (one batch and you will have to wait until they make it again - sometimes months later). This includes Blackout...😥

We had awesome ice cream. How can you say anything negative with ice cream? They were friendly, have fun ice cream names and candy and sodas to boot. You have to be a real crabapple to not have a fantastic experience here.

This place is really cool. We get a lot of artwork from this place, the staff are usually pretty nice but once in a while you'll get a grumpy person behind the counter when you ask to try something. They always have different flavours and cool candy. I recommend it to most people and get my friends art work from here. Plus they're open pretty late for an ice cream shop.

The dark cherry chocolate caramel ice cream is probably the best ice cream I've ever had - and they aren't shy with their scoop size! This candy shop was an awesome and entertaining surprise . It's got the old-town-old-fashion-esque vibe and is kid friendly... But also has punk rock playing with silly adult candies and products. Oh and they have really cool artwork. The 2 guys working there were helpful and friendly. Stay and browse while enjoying their ice cream!

It's ok compared to others. Not as good as liks or little man. Thought it was weird they didn't offer any toppings considering they have a bunch of candy they could use. Lots of variety though.

This is my absolute favorite find of the last 12 months. It was a blast to the past seeing a huge selection of the candy we grew up with and so much more. We got our sons HUGE jawbreakers and the hubby and i chose ice cream. They make their own and it is amazing! They let us sample different flavors. The hubby chose Kentucky Apple (green apple and whisky) while i chose chai. We got the child portion in a waffle cone and i almost couldn't finish mine. We live about 27 miles away but we will most definitely be back. YUMMY!!!

Lemon ice cream was delicious - thick, smooth, and not overly sweet. Green apple sorbet was also pretty good. Staff was nice, didn't take long to get through the line and get my order, but they were still apologetic for the wait. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area.

Truly Scrumptious I love this place to get an ice cream. They always have new unique flavors as well as typical classics. I love that the flavors are constantly changing, you can just about always have the opportunity to try something new and different. The rest of the venue is a candy and trinket shop that's fun to browse around in.

Last time we visited, our friends brought us here and I loved it. I came specifically for ice cream. But this place over all is pretty awesome. Such a fun candy store with lots of other trinkets and gifts. I remember having Bluebery Buttermilk Pancake Ice Cream and absolutely loving it! This time, more amazing ice cream! I went for a large with three scoops - Strawberry Chunk, Dark Chocolate Orange and S’mores. The strawberry is great flavor and some decent sized chunks of chocolate chips in it. Chocolate and orange are a favorite flavor combo for me, so that was definitely nice. And the S’more really packed a punch - thick gobs of marshmallow fluff in a chocolate graham cracker flavored ice cream. So good!!!

This is my favorite store in Old Town Arvada. You'll find all your favorite candy, even those you thought weren't made anymore. They also serve house made ice cream which is amazing. You can also get Kevin Eslinger prints which decorate the whole store.

Had the amaretto chip ice cream and haven't stopped thinking about it. As most of the other reviews have mentioned, the smallest size is pretty big and is definitely enough for one person. They also have a cool selection of "exotic" candies and chocolates.

I love this place. It's a little old fashioned mixed with a twist of modern or is it twisted modern. A great place for passive aggressive gag gifts. The prices are responsible and they have an entire wall of candy to buy by the weight. With one side being a candy store and the other side being a ice cream parlor your sweet tooth is sure to find satisfaction. If that's not enough they have amazing local artist displayed on the walls which are for sale. And with one one but two sit down (one with the typical table and chair in front of the ice cream counter conveniently located by the entrance and other tucked away in the middle to enjoy the art) you can comfortably stuff your face with all the goodies. Summer time is usually a line but well worth the wait.

This ice cream shop is a staple of Arvada. Just went there the other day for the first time. Their ice cream is amazing and they have many different flavors all unique in nature. There was a huge line when we arrived Only took a few minutes to get through . Our server was magical! I enjoyed his conversation. Like a kid in a candy store ... even adults! Scrumptious in Arvada is a sweet-tooth delight! Candies and treats and novelties abound greet you as you step in the door. Almost every candy you can think of is available here. Even delicious bacon flavors. They have nostalgia candy and new candy. It's a candy-lovers crazy town. And then there is the ice cream. The business is a "micro creamery" with creamy goodness that assaults your taste buds. This ice cream is made on site and there are different, seasonal flavors always available. Bring yourself. Bring the kids. Bring your friends. You'll be glad you did!

Really neat building with wonderful selection of candy and the ice cream is amazing, but no high chairs to sit and enjoy with wiggly little ones. It's a pretty small space to bring a stroller in just so the little one can sit somewhere.

Cute little candy shop that I stumbled upon. They have a pretty large selection of candy & some stuff that you can't find in regular grocery stores. Also they have a pretty large selection of drinks. I feel like it was rather pricey though, especially for the items by weight. I got one small piece of chocolate honeycomb from the bin to try & was charged $3.50 for it. Hardly worth it in my opinion. The moodibars that I got from here were okay

This is a great little local ice cream and candy shop in Arvada. It's usually pretty popular on weekend evenings, so you might have to wait a bit. The ice cream is excellent and large portioned (a small is plenty large for me). I do wish they sometimes would carry a few more traditional flavors, they often have a lot of unusual ones.

Such a cute little shop in historic Old Town. One side is an old school candy shop - Mallow Bars, Necco Wafers, Charleston Chews plus an array of hard candy and chocolates in bulk. The other side is an ice cream shop. We didn't get any ice cream this visit but the line for scoops was out the door when we left so it must be good - we'll be back to try it! The guy that rung up our candy purchase was super nice.

Cute place to visit and the atmosphere deserves a 4 star. The candy shop has so much to look at. The 3 stars are for the bland icecream. My family each got a difference flavor and they all tasted like vanilla with barely an added flavor. I got the coffee flavor icecream and it was.... not worth the price tag. But the location was adorable and so was the candy shop. Wish it was the whole package.

Sometimes the candy from the bins on the East wall are stale. Scrumptious is one of my favorite shops, cause I'm a guy that likes candy. Any of the packaged up candy will be fine, and I've mostly heard about their ice cream, which I have yet to try, but I don't like picking out candy only to walk out and find it to be stale.

Almost always busy. If Willy Wonka opened an ice cream/candy store, this place would be it. The flavors are extremely unique and the people behind the counter are always smiling. There is indoor and outdoor seating, which is a plus. This location also sells humorous toys. The only thing that prevents this place from getting a full 5 stars is the line. When this place gets busy the line for ice cream and paying stretches into the candy section. It makes this store difficult to navigate.

I want to love Scrumptious’ ice cream, it’s just really not great for what you pay. Wayyyy too sweet!! That being said, I love taking people into Scrumptious and looking at all the candy. It’s a classic kind of spot and I see why it does well.

A few of the ice creams were grainy, a very bad texture for ice cream. There are always fun choices tho. Try the salted caramel it's delicious! All of the retro candies are kind of pricy and I think they have a low turnover on the candies because I have gotten stale old candy from here. It's a fun throwback

Good candy store for the regular enthusiast. It's not as whacky as say, rocket fizz or fuzzywigs you won't find unheard of gems there. Selection isn't as unique, the sour candy selection was typical. But that's all I eat is sour candy. So for anyone else looking for ice cream and sweets they have excellent selections!

They have about 20 different kinds of ice-cream and hundreds of candy from when we were all kid's, they have self service candy as well as regular Candy and almost every nostalgic candy you can think of..? You can eat inside or outside? They have purchasable artwork of many fanboy/fangirl IE Starwars and much more they have TV you watch and a couch and many photo opportunities abound inside..! Handicap accessible and not much parking the place is almost always busy! The price's are a bit high but the nostalgia is most worth it!
