Oh yeah. Definitely go here. The ice cream is delicious. The goldfish ice cream actually tastes like goldfish, and it's delicious. The ice cream cookie sandwiches are legit. One of the best ice cream sandwiches we've had in a long time. And the person behind the counter was super helpful/friendly. I'd 100% recommend this place.

The girl that was working was really sweet, I wish I remembered her name so I can’t add it in the review. The cannoli wasn’t my favorite because I’m not a fan of cannolis but the presentation was very cute. The ice cream in the cannoli was amazing I love fruity pebbles. The ice cream sandwich was really good too I wish I would’ve chose a different pop tart flavor. But the experience was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Denver that has a sweet tooth.

If your ever in Denver and want an after dinner treat, check this place out! I had half cherry and half lemon ice freeze. You can have it scooped out for you at the counter or buy it already packaged by the pint as well as ice cream ($5 to $6) And they have pre made ice cream sandwiches( have a knife ready) and 2 pop tarts with ice cream nestled in the middle!(Giant) Love the pictures on the wall of celebrities eating ice cream. It was 2 very generous scoops for around $5.50 not bad. They had a smaller and larger sizes. This fat girl was not disappointed!! It was front door street parking. But we went at 9:30 pm

Extremely courteous and hospitable "scooper" behind the counter. Portions are huge for a "regular" size. Could use more seating inside, now that the weather is getting colder. Bottom line, the flavors were a tad on the sweet side for my taste... think lots of sugary cereals infused into ice cream. I was missing my usual go-to flavors like butter pecan and coffee. Seems like they are pivoting more to the online order crowd than the walk-ins... Which makes sense, probably. So, next time I might just go that route instead of coming here with a group that needed 5 chairs and smaller portions.

The ice cream here is phenomenal!! They have the best dirty Oreo cookies and cream and so many cereal based flavors (Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Puffs and more that is on rotation! Service is super friendly and helpful too! I would highly recommend checking this place out!

This is my favorite place in Denver by far. The pop tart ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes and water ice are to die for!!! The service and the packaging is wonderful, along with the quality of their products. The shop itself is so cute with fun, ice cream-themed photos from many different movies. Great to have some Philly fans in Denver as well, makes me love this spot even more. Totally check it out!!!

This well-decorated, small local joint is a great, casual ice-cream creator! Pleasantly surprised with the flavors, they have a wide range of ice-cream-related treats that are very impressive I.e. ice cream sandwiches, pints to go, cannoli, etc. I had the dark cookies n cream which I highly, highly recommend! My second flavor was also good, just not as stand-out in my opinion. No tastings during the pandemic, which is fine as the employees give very helpful explanations to each flavor. Overall, great joint, would return.

The ice cream flavor selection is weird (most of it is cereal flavors) but it tastes good and you can sample a variety first. I really liked the maple flavor he had when I was there. The place really seems to stand for what it believes in and I appreciate that. Also enjoyed the music selection while I was eating. The guy behind the counter (the owner, I think) was very direct and to-the-point, so if you're like me and you talk too much, you might annoy him, but it didn't seem to affect his professionalism. There are ice cream sandwiches made with pop tarts? I didn't try one but I found the idea kind of fascinating.

The owner, Jim, is a totally down to earth guy who has a love for sharing delicious cool treats with people of all ages, all types. He actually makes his creations in the back visible to guests, making crazy good flavors like Crunch Berries, Cheddar goldfish (surprisingly Bomb), and Dirty Cookies and cream. For you adults who love scoops, he even made a White Russian ice cream that would be Lebowski approved! My personal favorite is the Andes mint and Nutella in a Pretzel cone (cone is crunchy with sea salt rim!). I am becoming a steadfast regular myself, going now at least once every other week and enjoy conversing with Jim every time. Thank you for killer ice cream!!!

They freeze their ice cream the correct way, so if you get it delivered it will still be frozen. Personally, I think the cereal ice cream has an odd texture and I don't fux with it at all. Some friends love it though. I like their ice cream sandwiches :) delicious stuff!

I live in the neighborhood and have seen prices for this place go through the roof. While I love picking up a cone on my way home it’s just a bit too much to pay $7 for a single scoop cone. Not sure what’s going on with the pricing model as places that make their ice cream from scratch are charging far less, but I will think twice before dropping in.

The ice cream and waffle cone were great! I had a double scoop with coffee and peanut butter puffs. The flavors were both very flavorful and authentic - they didn't taste processed. The ice cream didn't melt as I walked around in 80 degree weather, or maybe it was just so good I ate it quickly. The case was full of really interesting and fun flavors, I had a hard time deciding. I tried the Philly water ice and will come back on a hot day for a cup. The water ice was very flavorful and refreshing but wasn't too sweet. I'll definitely be back!

One of my favorite ice cream shops in Denver. They have some zaney flavors, as well as Philly water ice! Kinda like sorbet almost, so good!! You can get custom ice cream sandwiches made from.. POPTARTS!!! 🤯 yesterday I got a cookies and cream pop tart with Reese's Puffs ice cream inside... It was truly amazing. 10/10 I completely recommend. GO!!!

I had the oatmeal icecream. It was creamy-tasted like the Nature Valley bars. I sampled the Goldfish flavor and it was surprisingly good. I also sampled the fruity pebbles and if I go back that's what I would get. Tasted like the leftover milk from the cereal. Delicious and unique flavors. The one staff attending us had a face of "hurry the F-up. I don't want to be here."

We needed, rather, we wanted to try another ice cream place, so we searched, and came up with Ice Cream Riot. Ice Cream Riot is tucked away on Colfax, a busy street in downtown Denver. It's easy enough to miss, as the entrance is very small (see photos), and I didn't notice (or could have just missed) a sign above the door. Anyway, we walked into wonderful flavors and smells, and nice cool air, on a hot day in Denver. Ice Cream Riot makes their own ice cream, on the premises. I would love to see how they do it. Anyway, you can get ice cream in bowls, cones and shakes. They also make ice cream sandwiches, and some of those sandwiches are made with pop tarts (get out of here! right! yummy!), and cookies. We opted for ice cream in a cup. You can also purchase the ice cream in to-go pints as well. Just a little something after a hard day at work. After trying multitude of flavors, I went with the oatmeal pie ice cream, and the maple butterscotch ice cream. WOW!!!! I loved both flavors! I don't have a favorite between the two, and highly recommend the.... I highly recommend both of them! Laugh! You won't go wrong with either one. The inside of the shop is long, rather than wide (based on it's location in the strip that it's located in on Colfax), yet it's cozy at the same time. There are approximately 4 - 5 small tables to sit at, and enjoy your ice cream. There are also 4 stools along the store front window, to sit at and watch people along Colfax. There is no outdoor seating. There are plenty of "ice cream pictures" on the walls, you'll see what I mean when you go. The interior is done in black and white, which are the colors of their logo. The floor is a hard cement type, which is easy to keep clean. Parking is along the street, which is metered parking. Or, you could park on a side street, and walk to the shop. They were not busy when we were there, but I would think, for an ice cream shop, and the hot Denver temperatures, I'm sure they get plenty of people wanting to cool off with an ice cream. Service was very good, and the woman was very patient with us, as we wanted to try the majority of the flavors, before we finally decided on what we wanted. The prices are average for today's market, based on other ice cream shops we have been too. All in all, a very good experience.

Came here on my recent trip to Denver. Cool little shop. About a dozen flavors. I got a double, one of honey grahams and another of all berries. The all berries was delicious along with the honey grahams, however the honey grahams seemed to be a bit frost bitten (could feel crystals while enjoying). Overall a great ice cream spot!

I came here for the first time 2 weeks ago. I took my 7 and 10 year old nieces and my 5 month old baby. We got easy street parking across the street. They had so many creative options and some classics to choose from! I got some kind of almond option, my nieces got chocolate and frutti loops. We asked for about a dozen samples and the lady never gave an attitude about it so that was nice of her lol. Very clean inside. I thought it was a bit pricey at $3.75 for one scoop with no cone but that may be because I never eat at ice cream places so I don't know what is typical.

Every flavor I've tried from the dirty cookies and cream, to the cinnamon pop tart, or butterscotch is just so rich and flavorful. Their flavors are spot on, if you did a blind taste test you wound know right away which each flavor was.

SO GOOD. I don't usually like shakes but I really love the shakes from ice cream riot. I love that the shakes can be in any available flavor and I don't know a lot of places that do that. The shakes are also thick and creamy instead of watery. The price is good too.

The ice cream and water ice are homemade. Great quality and taste. The owner is from Philly. I see some one star reviews, for the guys attitude. Don't ever take that personal, if you ever have spent time in Philly you will understand, not to get hurt. I lived in Philly, so when I met the owner I felt like I was back in Philly. Philly people are no nonsense and to the point.Denver overall is a better place to live but this guy has brought a part of Philly that will beat Denver any day. The food and ice cream/water ice win hands down. To top it off the guy made me a gilati which isn't even on the menu, or maybe I didn't see it. Great place.

I love how thick their ice cream is...and super rich! YUM!!! I'm obsessed with all things Nutella-flavored so I get this flavor everywhere. Ice Cream Riot has, by far, the best Nutella flavored ice cream I've ever had, hands down. I also tried a sample of the Goldfish Cracker...not exactly sure what I expected, but it tasted exactly like eating a handful of goldfish crackers. The lady working said people like to mix it with Nutella, but I'm a purist. Enjoy!

Lots of amazing flavors. The cinnamon was sweet but not a cinnamon sugar sweet but focusing on the cinnamon flavor. The oatmeal cream pie tasted just like the little Debbie oatmeal cream pie. The Nutella was like taking a spoonful of Nutella with a glass of milk. The dirty cookies and cream was oreo overloaded (if you like Oreos then this is definitely not a bad thing).

Interesting neighborhood. Ice cream was pretty good, ambience with unique and flavors were different. This ice cream shop is crate for locals and for visitors of Denver.

Placed my order through grubhub. 20 minutes after it was supposed to arrive I calld Riot. They were incredibly apologetic and said they had closed 20 minutes prior and were just waiting for the grubhub driver to get there. Finally the grubhub driver showed up. I opened my bag only to find the Riot employee had given me an extra ice cream sandwich. VERY classy.

I think it's fantastic! But I like ice cream so... They had crunch berries. Crunch berries!!!!! Like the cereal! Tasted just like it! They also have ice cream sandwiches and you can make them with pop tart tops and bottoms. Good stuff
