They have pretty good ice cream and a lot of options. I got the Tropical Smoothie($5.45) and it was pretty good. However, there's a staff member that is always rude. Everyone else is nice and accommodating but he always rejects every request you have.

I’m giving 4 , which could had been a 5 if it wasn’t for the very loud talking staff member. Which was talking badly about a customer. “You don’t do that in front of customers “. The employee was not professional at all. Maybe a little of customer service training is needed. However I loved my cookies and cream ice cream as I always do.. it’s the best!!

There are various “novelty” ice-cream items, too. If you’d like something savory before your sweets, they have a fine selection on their lunch menu.

We recently rented the Little Dipper freezer filled with ice cream sandwiches for our reception. Marissa was great to work with throughout the planning and ordering. She is super responsive and knowledgeable. The drop off and pick up were both easy and quick. We chose to fill the dipper with ice cream sandwiches so our guests could easily have a sweet treat that was individually wrapped. We did a mix of all the available flavors and added in the seasonal pumpkin spice sandwiches. The sandwiches were a hit! Our guests loved having them :) if you’re thinking about something like this for an event, we highly recommend it! Johnsons has been my favorite ice cream for years and so happy we had a chance to share that with our guests.

This was a great family experience. They actually have real Ice Cream. The children were impressed. My more requests for a McDonald's cone. The service was stellar. The shop spotless. Our server was friendly, patient, and professional. She showed the children all the different types of cones and allowed them to do taste test before finalizing their selection. Most important, local business.

What a perfect day for ice cream. Sunny and 76 degrees on March 5th! We stopped by Johnsons for ice cream and it was fantastic! I got this multiple-color ice cream with marshmallows in it. My friend got some concoction, lol, and both were great. The employees were all wonderful, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!

Was visiting; my friend raved about this black walnut ice cream for years. I tasted it at home so I wanted to experience new flavors and the ice cream was like mom used to churn but with bonus flavors. Butterscotch, toffee hunks, fudge peanut butter, then the black walnut. It all was yummy. A day after returning home I heard the ice cream truck and I didn't even bother to look out of my window🤷🏿why waste calories, it wouldn't even compare. I'm going to check into shipping info...I'm hooked😊 2/25/22 Do you ship ice cream, I would love to have a spoonful of home/churned anything. I bought Breyer's New York Cheesecake, over 6 weeks and it is still in freezer, taste is Not good! I can email you my address. I don't know when the next opportunity to come your way again.

The two scoops is quite big! Always delicious ice cream served by staff that keep moving. Expect a few minutes of line waiting, but it is worth it! Large, dog-friendly patio where you can order from outside and they had a clean water dish for dogs when I visited in July and August 2021. And don't forget to check out the back where they show the machines that are used to make the magic!

Nice small business with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have many ice cream flavours and a wide variety of food items. I was delighted with my ice cream choice, it was creamy and flavourful. I'll definitely be returning to try one of the many sandwiches on offer. The restaurant is set up for saftey and appropriate social distancing at this time, which gave me peace of mind.

The BEST ice cream! I’ve been going for years and no place even comes close. And their special mixture (Birthday cake, Blueberry Pie, Pumpkin, etc) are so amazing - I get them in the pint size. And the staff working here is the greatest (if you can’t decide between 2 or 3 flavors, ask, and they’ve always steered me right).

It's been a long time since I have been to Johnson's Ice Cream. You have to try their Strawberry Shortcake! It's delicious and the heat up Reschs cake , hot strawberry sauce, get it with pecans, and whipped cream. Simply AMAZING!!!

My favorite ice cream flavor Raspberry Cheesecake . I'm not one to try new flavors but today I did I tried the Pumpkin it was very good . I went to hear the music on a Thursday, I had to try the ice cream tho first and it was delicious. I like to try a different flavor every week and once in awhile treat myself to a hot fudge sundae. It is such a nice place and the workers are very friendly and patient while I make up my mind. Then I go out on the patio and enjoy the old time music from the "Best Jam Band in the Land". makes for a very enjoyable evening. Lots of young families and some seniors and those in between, all having a great time.

Stopped by there today for the first time, with my niece. She ordered mint chocolate chip, and later ordered cinnamon ice cream when we went back, and I ordered cookies and cream. The ice cream was definitely thick, rich, and creamy. I enjoyed it. I'd definitely recommend going if you're in the area. It's a nice treat, after a nice walk or long day. Also very friendly employees.

We haven't been there in years. Not since when they were closed on Mondays. Their ice cream is still outstanding yet not overpriced. A single dip is about equal to two dips at those "Cincinnati" ice cream stores. And, it's close to one of my favorite breakfast places. The "Kill it and Grill it".

I hadn't been here in a long time. The young man that helped me was very pleasant, he welcomed me back and talked to me about their seasons favorite. I didn't like any of the seasons favorite so he went on to tell me about another flavor (salted carmel chocolate covered pretzel), which I end up getting. I'm a very indecisive person so when he let me taste it, I loved it. No decisions to make now. Thanks to that young man I now have a new favorite flavor ice cream.

Located on Main St in Bexley the Johnson family has made & served ice cream for decades. Great assortment of flavors and beverages. They don't have a drive thru but have limited parking with Handicap parking & access. You will move clockwise to exit. You can buy your ice cream to take home or eat in. They also serve a few lunch items. Sit at a table or in a booth. In the summer you can choose seating on their front patio. Historical pics & news articles can be seen on the wall above some of their booths.
