I went to the other Lick location yesterday and got the bubble waffle with black cherry ice cream. I decided to take the extra calories and went to this location and got the blueberry cheesecake Mason jar with banana foster ice cream. It was so good and too much food. Diet starts again tomorrow lol. My pup loves the ice cream. The customer service was great. The young man was so patient and polite.

Awesome ice cream parlor. They had a nice variety of choices of ice cream. The milk shakes were absolutely amazing and huge. Presentation was on point and defiantlymade me say WOW. The service was good and the facility was very clean. I will definitely be coming back again.

Absolutely amazing is the only way to describe it! The place was clean and well set up for the space. The staff was very helpful and eager to get us what we wanted. The ice cream was delicious, as by the labels on the ice cream you can see they mostly use Hershey's brand. When you go online and see pictures of food, and then you order said food and it looks nothing like the pictures.... this is not one of those places. The signature shakes look exactly like the photos on their menu online. Check them out!

Saw this place on Door Dash, was craving something sweet at 7pm. It did not disappoint. I hadn't heard of it but I'll definitely order again. Imagine two big brownies with three scoops of chocolate ice cream, full size Oreo cookies, and cinnamon toast crunch cereal and you will be obsessed with Lick Ice Cream. My husband had Snicker bars on his! We could have shared just one. Price wasn't bad considering the amount of ice cream yumminess that we received.10/10

Stumbled upon this place off google after looking for somewhere to get dessert... First off it's a very cute little place.... I loved the decor and cleanliness in it... The variety of ice cream, shakes, and dessert treats were phenomenal.... My only complaint and reason for the 3 stars was because of the customer service! It was awful when we first entered there were two ladies present both whom seemed very bothered and hateful..... With it being our first time we needed a little time to checkout the flavor selections and the menu.... Well we were basically rushed and all the customers that had questions all recieved very rude answers.... Finally after making our decisions we got our treats and decided to sit inside to enjoy them.... By this time the older lady just basically left the one girl alone with a lobby full of people... The service I witnessed then was even worse... I can understand her frustration after being left alone but both of them definitely needs to work on the customer service as first impression is everything!

What a gem of an ice cream place! Super clean, super nice staff, and wonderful atmosphere. We were here for a conference and are from Mass but we stopped by and so glad we did not miss this! Portions are generous and the ice cream is fantastic! Will definitely visit again if in the area.

This was a fun birthday surprise! My wife brought me to LICK as a treat since she knows I love ice cream. I ordered some sort of Unicorn concoction and it was amazing! Cotton Candy to the max! Loved it. Will go back for sure. Probably only order a scoop of ice cream most visits and maybe treat myself to the jar of calories only once per year. But it was amazing and very beautifully made, too!

OMG!!!!!! I was not aware this was a Black Woman Owned establishment!!! Did you hear what I said.....??? A black woman owns this!!!! When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile although I was on the phone, they waited while I made the decision on which ice cream I wanted. This was my first time experiencing this ice cream shop because there are always people going in and out. I got the cookie butter ice cream and it was an amazing choice. I ate so much, now I'm sleepy! I even forgot to take a picture. Definitely will be back!!!!!

Overall the treats were beautiful and tasted great. Unfortunately there was no soap in the bathroom and they were playing music with explicit language. Also, it would be nice if they offered a wash station for the take home cups. I doubt that my family will return based on the music alone.

This was our first time coming here. Gwen & her daughter (the owners) and the staff are absolutely wonderful. They greeted us warmly and thanked us for coming in. They explained to us the options and what the sizes are. They have so many choices to choose from but, their signature milkshakes are the best. We chose 4 signature milkshakes and the rainbow cotton candy ice cream. Our mouths were watering at the sights of all of the goodies. 🥰 They cleaned and sanitized as we sat and ate our treats. It's extremely clean and Covid-19 protocol is in place with everyone wearing a mask and social distancing. I would highly recommend coming here. When, we are back in the area, we will definitely come back here. Ms. Gwen, Thank you for all of your kindness.

This is probably the best ice cream shop in Columbia! This shop has a variety of flavors to choose from with big servings as well! This is my go to place when I have cravings for something sweet or for just some ice cream.

My husband and I tried Lick Ice Cream for the first time the other day, and OMG it was sooo good! I highly recommend this place. The signature shakes were amazing. And I love the Hershey's ice cream. It really reminded me of home. We will definitely being going back!

Grand opening!! We spent a little over an hour there. About 15-20min in line and the rest waiting for our order. We knew there would be a wait due to them just opening, so that was ok. The customer service is good, just make sure you tell them your exact order. My cousin wanted the strawberry Cheesecake (shake) and they began fixing just regular Cheesecake (they sell that too)...so that was our mistake. I'm pretty sure the wait won't be as long once they're fully staffed. Only downside to this visit is that some ppl took advantage of them being so busy that they were able to order milkshakes and not pay...by this I mean they were able to order their shake (they currently take the longest to make), step aside and wait and then leave without paying once they received their order. Only reason behind this is that there wasn't someone at the register at all times. Therefore, it's was really easy for the few employees to loose focus of those who paid and didn't pay because they were that busy, and everyone waiting for their order, stepped aside to the area on the side of the register (those who paid and didn't pay). And upon receiving orders, the employees didn't ask if they paid or not. And a good way to prove they did would be to ask for proof of receipt. So they DEFINENTLY need someone at the register at all times.

Absolutely love this ice cream parlor! The smell of fresh baked goodies slaps you in the face when you open the doors. Over 30 different flavors of ice cream with vegan and non-dairy options too! The waffle tacos (which is what I ordered), bubble bowls, and cones are freshly made in house. Toppings galore...it was hard to make decisions lol. The owner even shared with me a new concoction that she anticipates launching this weekend. The entire staff were super friendly!!!! We will definitely be back!

I so enjoyed meeting the owners, and the Strawberry Cheesecake milkshake was phenomenal and the peach cobbler was also great too!!! Thank you for such an amazing first experience and I am now going to be a regular customer! The loyalty program is going to be fun, I got 20 points on my first visit. I was told that after 60 points I would start getting rewards so yeahhh!!!!

This place is absolutely fantastic.. Pleasant friendly staff. The ice cream comes just as pictured if not better. I spent an evening here with my coworker just aiming to try this place out. We truly were wowed with friendly service and amazing looking and tasting ice cream. They do go all out on the signature shakes. They are definitely worth trying! The rest of the menu looks so good to so I know we'll be returning customers. Thanks again! RE: the criticism of hershey's ice cream. What they do is art. I'm from the north. If you are looking for Uconn or Penn State Dairy bar quality ice cream.. you need to go to the Uconn or Penn State Dairy bars, lol when you visit there. South Carolina doesn't have the climate to sustain a many local dairy farms so you have to import it from somewhere. Given those circumstances, this place earns 5 stars for their effort to bring quality ice cream to our community. It **MUCH** better than the competition here and that's the most important thing.

I have to say, I have been very impressed all 3 times I have visited this place. First of all, the cleanliness is wonderful. Each time it has been the first thing I notice. They are adequately staffed which is very hard to find now a days. It made me happy to see 4 people behind the counter! The menu has such an awesome and fun variety. You may choose to be as simple or bougie as you like in ordering. What really blessed my heart today is their willingness to accommodate a lactose allergy! 2 out of the 3 times I have visited the manager and owner personally came to our table to thank us for coming. That type of customer service I will never forget and I am very pleased to keep supporting. As far as the taste I have never been disappointed in that as well.

This was a first time visit. I have to be honest. It was great ice cream, but unfortunately the service could have been better. The employees never greeted or acknowledge that we were in line. When our order was ready we could barely hear her say that the "order was ready. The communication was so low that another customer had to speak for her to say "sir your order is ready". Owners please talk to your employees about the importance of communication and your business will continue to thrive.

This place isn't suitable for large parties: Been here twice. My first time there was around the time they opened. We were a party of three, and experienced great customer service from a cheerful small staff that was eager to help. With a nice ice cream selection and what seemed like an endless menu of creamery confections, I thought Lick was the perfect place to take my exteneded family while they visited from out of state. Unfortunately, our visit left a lot to be desired. We were a large party (13 kids 6 adults,) and though they had a much larger staff on their assembly line this day, most of them were clearly unprepared to handle such a rush. The level of customer service was no where near what it was our first visit, and there was even a sense of irritation from some of their crew. Nonetheless, they moved us through the line in a timely manner. Then we were met with a POS system that was not setup in the most efficient way to ring up large sells. Lick's menu would definitely bring my family back, but now we know we can't all visit together.

I went tonight for the first time and wish I would have gone sooner! Probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had!!! Literally and I have been all over the US and overseas and still the best! Tried a brownie fudge sundae that had 3 flavors of my choosing….honestly couldn’t choose which of the 3 was better…creamy and the flavors are absolutely amazing….a MUST TRY!!!

You can't sample any ice cream, not even 1! Prices were a little expensive. I got a kiddie cone, it was a little over 3 dollars but was a generous scoop. My husband got 1 big scoop and it was closer to 5 something. I wish they gave at least 1 or 2 samples to try. The ice creams we got were just average nothing special.

First time visiting! Stopped by LICK Ice Cream off Clemson Rd yesterday. I was happy walking in because a good song was on 😂 Anywho... It was nice and cool inside and I was greeted entering the door. I got a triple scoop for my sister. They may have been out of to go caps at the time but the young man plastic wrapped it pretty well. I also got the Tooty Fruity milkshake. I know it's not made for real travel but I got it home safely! 🤣 The rice krispies were super fresh and so good. I don't know what the white chocolate bar was but it was tasty 😋 The strawberry ice cream had real strawberries in it. The icing to hold the fruity pebbles was delicious. Ok ok, the whole thing was Delicious! Hopefully, next time, I can sit and enjoy!

Our first time visiting on a Monday evening about 7pm, ice cream was good, service was cheery and prompt. We were the only customers at the time. Husband had the Banana Split. with 3 scoops. I customized my Hot Fudge Sundae with Bourbon Pecan and Honey Roasted Peanut Butter with chocolate ribbons - yum. I would have scraped the rest of that hot fudge out of the little cup if you had given it to me. Sad that I couldn't taste more of the flavors (COVID of course). Lots of mixed reviews on this place but we'll probably go back for a milkshake to share!

Very overwhelming cause there are so many choices. Look at website before you go to plan, especially if you are bringing kids. However, it is very worth it. My sundae was delicious and everything looked clean and fresh.

The service was fast. It's a fun, clean loud store great to hang with friends and eat mediocre icecream. When I heard this is a black owned business, I thought it would be a place to find products and services unavailable elsewhere, but it serves regular Hershey ice cream. The decor and organization is perfect, parking limited. I'll go if invited by friends, but wont return for ice cream

I had just heard of this ice cream shoppe and figured we’d try it out and let me tell you...I’m so glad we did! The customer service is nothing short of superb. Greetings when we come in and upon leaving. The employees ensure not only quality service but a quality product as well. The reflection wall in the far corner is something I wish more places had. Would give this place a dozen stars!!! My family went there tonight and it was so DELICIOUS!! We had saw pics of the stuff they offer but the pictures do not do it justice. The milkshakes are a piece of art. Everything was so fresh. The service was above and beyond. The owner she is just wonderful and makes sure that you are happy and that everything is just the way it should be. I have to say if you are on Clemson RD. Stop and try it out you will not be disappointed and it is well worth every dime spent. You will leave satisfied and will be ready to go back. This area needed a place like LICK!!!

I have Visit the Clemson Road location Twice. And the ice cream tasted delicious. The milkshakes in the glass jars were not just beautiful it tasted terrific. On the second visit I have the ice cream boats, And scoops of ice cream in a cup. The service was great and I definitely will be returning.

First experience was PHENOMENAL!! Ownership is friendly and always making sure that everyone in the shop is happy and enjoying their ice cream treat! I personally tried the “Waffle, Coffee, and me” (pictured), and it comes highly recommended! You can also add a multitude of topics at a VERY low cost! AND you get to keep the jar that your milkshake comes in!! If you haven’t been, you should go!

I visited this place about two weeks ago and omg the cheesecake and ice cream was amazing. The workers were beyond friendly. They took their time with our orders and when I say the finished product looked exactly like the pictures on the internet they did. This is my new favorite desert spot. Waited a while but these things are complex to begin with also the quality was good and the finished product looked just like the pics on the menu . Staff was friendly. Prices can get really high but they are fun for sure and I'd highly recommend if you have never been there.
