My husband and I got ice cream. I got the maple butter pecan on a waffle cone and my husband got vanilla bean on a waffle cone. Sooo good on a summer day! The chocolates looked really good, too. We only got ice cream this time but next time we are in town we will try some chocolate!

We went in to try the Champwich. It was OK, I didn't think the ice cream was cold enough and the cookie was nothing special. It is one of those chocolate stores where everything looks delicious but probably isn't.

Quality chocolate and a vast selection. They also make peanut brittle and hot cocoa mixes. Great seasonal treats around the winter holidays as well. I have enjoyed everything we have gotten here before and I can't wait to go back!

We had the best strawberry ice cream I have ever had in my life here. It was made with fresh, local strawberries and was just perfect. I got mine in a chocolate dipped waffle cone and it was so good. I would get that ice cream again and again and again.

Skip Ben & Jerry's and get ice cream here. The sundaes are sublime. While you are in, there are plenty of chocolates, cocoa mixes, and chocolate covered apples too.

COVID: This place went above and beyond on making ppl feel safe enough to be in the store. There was always someone at the door managing the number of ppl allowed in and the store never got crowded. (7/5) RATING Food: Just got the regular hot chocolate with marshmallows(Pictured) and the peppermint hot chocolate. Both were good and what you would expect.

The place is actually a chocolate store. But, we had the Belgian Chocolate ice cream here and it was one of the richest, thickest and most creamy ice-cream we ever had. The chocolates looked amazing 😋but we did not buy them. In hindsight I feel we should have tried them too... But we'll next time 😊

I have a food allergy (milk), so I was super excited to find that they had a few options which were vegan-friendly. The chocolate truffles, salted caramels, and orange peels were all safe for me, and all delicious. It's good that I live in Pennsylvania because I would probably spend my entire paycheck here otherwise!

They have the best hot chocolate I’ve EVER had in my entire life! I go here quite often. I deducted one point since the first time I went there, I ordered an iced hot chocolate from there. After the place back home that served iced hot chocolate in my city of Boston closed, it was a pleasant surprise they were able to make me one. I figured this was a fairly common request or something since they were super nice about it. I went there again a month later and they said it was impossible, and when I told them about how they made me one a while back, they denied making me one again. I have no issue with this, but… I am not entirely sure how to feel about this entire situation.

I like lake champlain chocolate in general, but I came here for the ice cream. The strawberry ice cream was the best ive had. Tasted super fresh with local strawberries, and tasted amazing in a milkshake as well (I tried it both ways). There was a long line at Ben and Jerrys but no wait here, so I was happy to have come here for ice cream.

Sitting on a busy pedestrian only street this chocolate store stands out. We walked in an the chocolate bar to the left was FILLED with anything and everything chocolate. Further down the table was a caramel forming station and the drink section. all of this was wrapped up in one lovely experience. The staff was extremely friendly and even with a larger crowd was able to get to everyone in a timely fashion. We were able to see the mix some chocolate, get a sample, and taste a delicious root beer float. If you're in the area and love chocolate, give this place a shot. Well worth the time!

Really love the chocolate. Addicted? Probably....but in a good 'this-is-how-I-deal-with-Covid". However....yes, there's a however....those credit card machines they use are slower than the ones used in the 80's. Remember when the numbers were worn down on the credit cards because the slider thingy would wear them down? Remember how long that took? Lake Champlain Chocolates are slower....and clunkier...and I feel so bad for the chocolatiers who have to explain the entire process over...and over....."wait for the green light.....insert your card.....I"m sorry, you didn't wait for the green light...please remove your card.....I know...it's clunky....I know.....yes...now, please wait for the green light.....please, wait for the green light...." at this point one could write an SNL skit out of this, but the chocolatiers have such great customer service they wouldn't say..."YOU"RE NOT WAITING FOR THE GREEN LIGHT!!! IF YOU DON"T WAIT, I"LL HAVE TO TAKE BACK THE CHOCOLATE!!!"....and so it goes. I had such an experience today. About 15 minutes dealing with the green light and still was charged twice. The chocolatiers were so patient and lovely.....but I think the champagne truffle I ordered should have been complimented. Lake Champlain Chocolates....please....change....your....credit...card...machines.....(a number of your chocolatiers suggested I write this as this is the only way things change there.....I guess). Happy New Year!!

Went twice to Lake Champlain Chocolates during our time in Burlington. Lots of good things to choose from. Didn't try any of their coffee drinks, but they looked good.

Awesome ice cream! Place was recommended to us by the waitress from Ken's nextdoor. She wasn't wrong. It was fantastic! Had the cinnamon cider sherbet with salted caramel sauce. Never had the flavor anywhere else.

Be careful going in because you'll end up walking out with pounds of chocolate. Haha. But they do have delicious chocolate and cater to those with dietary restrictions like gluten free and nut free. Can't go wrong with chocolate!

My husband and I came here a few days ago when it was extremely cold outside and got two mint hot chocolates to warm ourselves up. The store seemed crowded and popular and the hot chocolates were very tasty!

Great local chocolate shop that also does coffee and hot cocoa as well as fudge and ice cream. I would put it on par with Ben and Jerry’s and because it’s not as well known for its ice cream it is my go to spot when B&J’s has a line out the door in the summer time.

Found out about this place by accident. Thought it was just a fudge/candy store...but they have ice cream, too. REALLY good ice cream! They don't have the variety that another super popular ice cream shop on Church Street does...but they do have several flavors....and is super high quality...and the employees have been friendly each time I've gone there. Definitely try it out!

Went for a demo presentation, but it was done by the time we got there. It was a last minute add to the schedule. The person that did the demo was friendly, kind of ignored us and began snatching up everything from the table as I entered the area. I'd say his non-verbal communication was clear and direct. Lol. Counter Staff was helpful with directions to our next spot and gave us little goody-bags of chocolates. That some what saved the experience.

Best ice cream in vt, you heard me ben and jerrys. You are horrible, LCC is king. When b&j got purchased by unilever, quality went down and is filled with chemicals. I refuse to eat it. LCC is the only game un town.
