It's in a nice location; bright and airy. It could use more seating, especially when inside isn't included for Covid reasons. The ice cream was good, though not better than many other locations around. The prices were competitive, but the serving size seemed a bit smaller than other local "joints." I got chocolate peanut butter. Loads of chocolate. Not much peanut butter.

Great homemade ice cream with some rich flavors and ample portions providing a good value for the money. While the place is small they provide both indoor and outdoor seating. A great option for ice cream with the family. They also offer several revolving vegan flavors and they are all just as good as the regular ones. Easily one of our favorite ice cream shops in the area.

Really enjoyed this local creamery. My husband and I both got the monthly sundae special. Servings were generous. Only go on a cheat day! Plenty of parking. Servers were friendly. Inside was a bit small so could easily get crowded but there were tables outside to eat. If anyone dare eating the crazy colonial I'd be interested to know 😋...

By far my favourite Ice Cream outside of the big city! Delicious flavours, wonderful sundae concoctions, and simplistic yet scrumptious cookiewiches (something I am an expert in). I would recommend ordering ahead to avoid a wait though it is never too long (ice cream isn't made to order afterall).

Awesome ice cream… worth 5 stars… but 1 thing bother me was employees were not wearing gloves to handle the ice cream… I think this should need improvement!

You visit and you immediately notice how busy they are. Don’t be deterred. For starters, they’re quick and efficient so the wait truly won’t be long! & the ice cream tastes amazing. I love that they have a large array of sizes. From Mini to Quart(?) & they have vegan options!

Best ice cream I’ve had this season. The Peanut Butter Cup was beyond creamy & delicious. I ranked only four stars because the ordering process & where to enter and stand in line is not clear and needs improvement.

Great spot for ice cream in Acton! I highly recommend trying the brownie sundae, you won’t be disappointed. Heads up that it gets very chaotic and crowded on busy nights. Unfortunately they take your order, create a ticket, and then make your ice cream. Seems like everything might move smoother if they would take your order and make it right then as other shops do :)

While the ice cream was very good, the ice cream sandwich was subpar. Both of the cookies were very hard- pretty stale. This made eating it a very crunchy adventure. And the ice cream just squished right out from the cookies. I'll have to give it another shot sometime but maybe skip the ice cream stalewich.

The ice cream is great and they offer gluten-free and vegan options. The ice cream pies are amazing! I wish the mini was priced below $4 given it's size, but it's generally getting harder and harder to find such a thing in this area.

Lots of flavor options and a rich creamy taste. Straws for the frap could be a little bigger. The small size made it difficult to drink.

2 of our 6 had food allergies and staff were very attentive to our needs. We understand how difficult it can be to find tasty frozen desserts. That being said, I heard “this is delicious chocolate” quite a few times about the vegan chocolate. Everyone enjoyed their flavors and as someone who doesn’t love ice cream, I loved this ice cream!

We consider ourselves discriminating ice cream eaters. West Side Creamery offers a top notch product. The ice cream is super creamy, not overly sweet and very pure. We took home pints of lemon blueberry crisp, brookie dough and cookie jar today. So good. We were fortunate to find you and we will be back EVERY DAY!! Love the story of shop as well. Ask if you don't know.

Ice cream was really good. Service was not. Wouldn’t recommend going unless you like being glared at by young teens with hickeys on their neck that will ignore you standing in line waiting. I really like to give people the benefit of the doubt but the attitude my friends and I got was just really off putting and unfortunately not worth the wait.

Delicious ice cream delivered in a friendly environment. If you plan to seat outside in the patio while indulging your ice cream in a late afternoon-early evening, bring some mosquito repellent. Don't let the anopheles ruin your ice cream experience.

The chocolate is so good. How good is it? It's the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had. That's how good it is. When you're looking through the menu for the first time, and you're thinking "ooh almond joy! I wonder if green monster is good?" Skip em. The chocolate is a near religious experience, you can always try the others another time.

Great ice-cream only five minutes from route 2! We got to talk to the owner who was excited about everything Acton has to offer, on our way from Boston to Vermont. Great variety of flavors and attentive staff, not to mention they make their own waffle cones! :)

I had vanilla ice cream with hot fudge. It was great! The ice cream was creamy and the fudge was hot. The small size was plenty. The mini size would have been enough for after a meal. They offered a good variety. A simple pleasant place with with friendly staff.

Nice shop. Handy parking in the back if the street is full. I got a huge cone for $5.25. Very good ice cream in a large variety of flavors. Staff is quite friendly. Small room but comfortable, with porch seating, weather permitting.

We had a wonderful experience here! They were so sympathetic to my husband's dairy allergy and made a special effort to get a new container of sorbet, utensils, gloves, etc. A nice surprise! And the ice cream scoopers were very friendly too.

Lovely gourmet ice cream shop located in the center of West Acton. When I first entered I was greeted by the delicious aroma of home made waffle cones and friendly young scoop staff. Ideally situated to a nearby playground, coffee shops and brewery/restaurant. Cozy outdoor patio and ample parking. My new local favorite.

We live within walking distance of Westside. I absolutely adore the banana chocolate chunk and a good old-fashioned frappe is never far from my mind. They also have ice cream cakes available to custom order very reasonably priced.

My daughter had celiac disease and this was the first ice cream establishment where she could actually enjoy a gluten free cone. The ice cream was delicious and the staff knew to get fresh ice cream from the freezer that was uncontaminated. Great allergy practices here. Would highly recommend.

Boyfriend and I got a frappe and a sundae here today and both were great! We really appreciated that the sundae came in a compostable container rather than styrofoam. Staff were friendly and it felt very safe despite the pandemic.

Very good ice cream, however they have not stocked chocolate dipped waffle cones in nearly a year! Each time I go I ask about them and am regularly promised they will be back soon!

THIS ICE CREAM PLACE IS THE BOMB! I have always been a HUGE fan of ice cream and I have always felt we needed an ice cream place in Acton. Fortunately for me West Side Creamery moved in, their ice cream is incredible, instead of buying Ben and Jerry's I go the extra mile just to eat some of West Sides Ice Cream.

After eating next door at Twin Seafood, we went over to West Side Creamery.. We were told how good the ice cream was there.. It didn't disappoint.. The ice cream is freshly made, fairly priced, with lots of fun and yumful flavors and ways of having it.. The staff was friendly and accomadating, and there is inside and outside seating to enjoy ur treat.. 😎
