Amazing. Pricey but not deadly. Got a small cup of the Apple Crisp Ice Cream and the small cup contained a really huge scoop. I got a large coffee with whole milk. The milk was good, the coffee not so much. It tasted like black licorice. I drank about a quarter of the coffee in the cup.

Would have given this place a 5 star but the music is too loud! The service is great and fast. Icecream is amazinnnng.

Being in Boston does have its advantages. Having an ice cream shop as J.P. Licks does not give it justice calling it an ice cream shop. With the many eateries in this area, what better place to finish with desert in having more than an ice cream. Being 3000 miles away from home with this banana split made my trip more memorable.

Great ice cream. Even though prices range on the expensive side, I always get a good amount of ice cream for my money. Good flavors and there's a good amount of stuff in the involved flavors with candy and cookies and stuff added. Only thing is, they have very limited seating if you are planning to hang around with friends. These serve good gluten free snacks and black and white cookies!

Great little ice cream shop with a big variety of ice cream, coffees, and other drinks. They have some of the best alcohol infused ice creams I have ever had. It's pretty small so I do not recommend coming in with a group unless it is off peak hours. It was pretty crowded even when it was 10 degrees outside.

J.P Licks was great. Only complaints was that my grandmother almost vomited due to the giant amount of ice cream she consumed, and the lack of outdoor seating. On the menu there were a lot of gluten free options and toppings. This ice-cream is one of the best you will find in Boston. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good ice cream.

Came for a late night ice delight, the ice-cream was good. Heard about it from a local friend and was worth the visit. It was too crowded luckily and we got a seat in the limited seating area inside. Tried two flavours and both were delicious and now overpowering or masking the mixture of tastes. And ofcourse they have toppings to make things a little bit sweeeeeter.

Honestly, the best ice cream in Boston. I usually tend to go for the Flavors of the Month and I have never been disappointed. There's usually a small line but it goes pretty quick. The servers I've encountered have all been friendly and helpful.

I love this place. Easily one of the best ice cream parlors I have been to. Customer service is fast, their serving size of ice cream is good and their flavors are unique and yummy.Do try out Coffee Cookies n Cream! And they have amazing hot chocolate! What more can you ask for?

So you are in Boston, and it's past 10.30 pm, you just had dinner and everything seems to be shutting down on a weekday. You crave ice cream and a Boston institution peeks at you. The service is excellent. My ice creamery expert recommended the dairy free options that qualify for chocoholics anonymous - lots of chocolate, coffee and similar flavors. The one weird thing is you cannot see your ice cream. They kind of hide it, unlike other great ice cream places that are proud to display how the cookie dough sticks out of peanut butter. Other than the vanishing act, the ice cream flavors were top notch, fairly priced and just the thing to enjoy on a freezing Boston night.

A must have! This is a Boston Classic Ice Cream Spot. I had the peach ice cream and it was perfection in a cup, my wife had cookies and cream and it was the best she had. They have lots of different flavors Stop-by and have some delicious fun in a cup or cone.

Fun, inventive flavors. Great seasonal combos — peach sundae and peanut butter and chocolate ice cream sandwiches in July. The line was surprisingly long at 10:00pm on a recent Friday night; thankfully efficient service handles it well. Not the creamiest or the richest, but certainly a fun treat.

JP licks has a great selection of ice cream. There are the usual flavor and more exotic monthly flavors. On top of that, there are sundaes, yogurt, cakes, cookies, coffee and stuff. The place is friendly and a good for hanging out with friends.

I got ice cream here after taking my Mom and Dad to a Sox v Yankee game. Which was well worth every penny thanks to a swell 18 Innings. This delicious frozen treat helped soothe our soles after that heartbreaking loss.

This JP Licks has the best house coffee of any of the JP Licks in the area. Their coffee is great, and so is their ice cream. Additionally, this location is typically not crowded, so you can find a place to sit.
