Awesome. I love this place. Ice cream is locally made. Although prices are expensive it's worth it. 2 ice cream cones run about $15 so bring that wallet full of cash. But the best part is the seating around the farm animals. It's fun to watch the cows and watch the kids react to seeing live farm animals while enjoying an ice cream cone

Good ice cream! They also had my favorite sugar cones. I ordered a small vanilla cone. See the pic for the size. There was a line but it moved pretty quickly. There were about 5 individual windows where staff is ready to take your order. As someone finishes ordering and walls away, you just walk up to that available window. There is ample parking. I say in my car to eat my ocean but there are several picnic tables where people sat. Crescent ridge also sells milk and juice by the glass bottle (I think it was a half gallon) and you can also buy their prepackaged ice cream.

Delicious ice cream at the dairy bar! Huge portions, be prepared, especially on a hot day!! We also get home delivery of their milk, non-dairy beverages and so many specialty foods. Our driver is courteous and interacts with my three children whenever he can. Our kids look forward to milk man day each week!

This is a good little place. Portions are pretty large, I think even for most adults kiddie size is probably okay. There's plenty of parking. Line can get pretty long, but I guess that's expected on hot summer days. Kids like to see the goats and cows that are out in the fields. There's plenty of space to eat your ice cream and maintain social distancing. Prices are about what you'd expect for a place like this.

This ice cream/dairy is a local favorite. Well known and very popular. The ice cream is really good! Ice cream sundae's are soooooo good. Be warned, a large is a lot to eat. They are filling. Fresh milk, chocolate milk etc inside in glass, returnable gallon bottles. They also control the lines at the windows so there's no crowding, they do a very good job with that. A great family, ice cream destination.

The place always has a line. We went in the fall which is no peak season. the line move pretty fast. We got the pup cups, Mississippi Mud and mint Cookies n Cream. Also added Reese pieces to the mint cookies n cream. Our dogs loved the pup cup which was Frozen vanilla yogurt with a Milkbone. The Mississippi Mud had pieces of oreo and almonds. You could taste the difference in quality of the ice cream from store brands. The mint cookies n cream was the best of both worlds. Mint combo with cookie n creams . Pricey is not bad $4-7 depending on the size. Worth a try

The first time I had a sundae and today I went to buy few 1.5 quarts for a gathering. I bought coffee, strawberry and Graham Central Station. All of the flavors didn't felt good. It had an artificial taste. The regular supermarket ice cream is far better than this. I had no idea the quars were this bad. I wouldn't have bought them if I knew it had the chemical taste. Hopefully the sundaes are still good. Because I saw lot of people enjoying their sundaes on the benches.

Crescent Ridge is one of my favorite ice cream places to go to in the summertime. The ice cream is delicious and they have many options. The lines can be long especially in the evening and weekends. Unfortunately in my recent visit my favorite nondairy sorbet flavor was removed. Many items on the menu have been removed for not being kosher. It is a significant bummer and most likely I will find another ice cream spot. But for those who can have dairy and ice cream in general it is a great spot!

It was open late which gets 5 stars on its own. But I was taking a phone call so I stepped out of line and all of a sudden the line was HUGE! But it didn't matter because they were so FAST that I got to the window before I even knew what I wanted to order. And everyone was so friendly!

More and more varieties than we think and all are tasty. My kids like their ice cream much especially crunchy flavors. I like thier milk as well, fresh and creamy. Dairy store is maintained neatly and there are more counters to serve people quick. Helpful staff. There is a play area for kids and benches and we can see few animals some times.

We were trying to look for an ice cream fix after the football game and dinner. My girlfriend had never been to Crescent Ridge. When I was younger I would go there when in the area. All you have to do is be patient in the long line then you will be rewarded with a delicious product.

Tasty. Generous portions. In addition to the ice cream, ice cream cakes, and ice cream sandwiches, they also offer fun things like ice cream-filled cupcakes. They have a fairy farm on site and sell milk there, as well as deliver it to residences all around the greater Boston area. Good range of flavors, tasty hot fudge, and the scoopers who take and prepare your order are pretty good at what they do.

Possibly the best ice cream I’ve ever had. A word that come to mind is fresh. I’ve never though to describe ice cream as fresh. Many exotic flavours available. The no fuss business also produces milk and yoghurt for sale. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Staying on the queue for your turn is worth it and just means they’re doing something right. There’s adequate parking and some concrete chairs in the vicinity. Great ice cream place.

Been going here for some 40+ years. Here I brought my grandsons and told them I brought their mom here when she was a baby...Love the fresh flavors... there is always a love, but it keeps moving... they post the flavors a couple of places while you wait in line, but if you're like me, you'll wait until you get to the window and order at the last minute! 😵 Still a pretty good serving if you get the kiddie size... but definitely worth the trip...A nice treat on a lovely Weekend evening. 💜

Better than I've expected, they live up to the reputation. Every summer season this place is a hit and it wouldn't be normal if they weren't. Theyre a huge staple in the community in terms of what it means to live in the sharon/stoughton/canton area during the summer months. Their ice cream is second to none, very creamy, and very nice portions for what you pay for. A lot of toppings and flavors as well. Im glad i live nearby!

My go to here is the peanut butter sundae and it never disappoints. Service is always good here even though lines get long but that's just because it's such a popular place. I gladly wait in line every time so no complaints here. Their servings are so generous sometimes it can be too much if you're not ready for it.

Crescent Ridge has the best quality ice cream that you can find. Whenever I have family or friends in town to visit, we go here and everyone loves it. We haven’t tried a bad flavor yet! The cup sizes are massive and still reasonably priced

Always love going here. We love Orage Pineapple and Ginger flavor icecream. For now they are doing drive through orders only which is great. Sunday night in winter is perfect if you want to avoid rush hour.

Crescent Ridge is a large-scale dairy and creamery, set up to satisfy the dairy cravings of hundreds of daily customers throughout all the New England seasons. Most of the ice cream flavors have a smooth creamy texture and greatly benefit from a topping. In addition to hand-scooped ice cream, it is possible to purchase pre-packed half-gallons, as well as milk and a variety of frozen dinner options (including frozen New England pub pizza.)

Classic, family-friendly spot for ice cream. Most people that visit have been going for their entire lives and bring their families, and I can say the same. Their menu is huge; they have a ton of flavors, they do ice cream, shakes, sorbets, sundaes, etc. I love trying new flavors, but some of my favorites are Black Bear, Salted Caramel Pretzel, Cookie Dough, and Peppermint Stick. The prices are pretty typical to ice cream shops, and the portion sizes are very generous. You can also pick up Crescent Ridge milk and ice cream at some supermarkets like Shaw's as well.

Crescent Ridge is an amazing ice cream shop for the family. They have amazing milk and juices and the best ice cream around. Lines get long during the summer/ on hot days so prepare to wait! The portions are massive. Kiddie size is the size of a medium ice cream anywhere else. The salted caramel pretzel and cookies and cream are my favorite. A lot of people rave about their banana boats and the moose tracks ice cream. There are also goats and cows to watch while you eat your ice cream!

Best ice cream around! And a Crescent Ridge small is equivalent to a large (or a hefty medium) at most other ice creameries. My dog loves the pup cup, which is unique in that it is hard serve ice cream with a dog treat rather than soft serve (it lasts longer!).

Great local dairy with an excellent delivery service for some of the best tasting milk I have ever had. On top of milk they have a wide variety items they offer for weekly delivery including vegetables, various ice cream items(amazing flavors and taste), meat items and cheese. It's also nice in the summer to grab some Ice cream in person and enjoy watching the cows in the pasture.

Due to our current uncertainty you can't go inside and purchase but you can place orders/pay from vehicle window. The wait is truly not bad and the young adult taking your order are cool as well. Wasn't too bad if a wait. Went there at 2 in the afternoon, waited about 25 minutes until we were in the parking lot. Took our order quickly and came out promptly, the only problem was, my nice asked for vanilla ice cream and she got mint choclate chip. That was not a problem, as quick as they could, fixed the flavor to our liking. I've always loved this place, I've been coming here for over 30 years. Who wouldn't love fresh ice cream and milk from their own raised cows!!

Crescent Ridge Dairy is the best ice cream ever! The milk comes from the cows on the farm, which reduces the likelihood of it having alot of artificial ingredients in it. They have great flavors, and you can choose something small or something big like banana boats...the price is right and the scoops are plenty!!!! Just make sure to have plenty of toilet paper on hand, you'll need it!!!!

It’s an amazing place, are so many unique ice cream flavors, they even sell milk and eggnog. You can also buy ice cream cakes that have all of the flavors. The only down part is that the lines are really long, but that’s because the place is so good!

Crescent ridge has always been my favorite ice cream place. The drive through car hop is a fantastic idea for the pandemic. However, the line can be horrific. As I write, it is a Monday night in September and I have been waiting for over an hour, and I still don’t have my ice cream. The staff are unorganized and unprofessional. The ice cream is still great though, just make sure to leave tips only when they really deserve it.

This is a great place for ice cream. Expensive. But still great. First, the ice cream. It is great. Lots of fun flavors. All the ones I’ve tried have been excellent. The sizing is a little weird. The absolutely smallest size is probably enough for most people. It is called tiny tot. It is too big for my daughters. The kiddie is big. The medium is huge. And the large is enormous. Be warned. For those with allergies, they take our peanut allergy seriously. It takes a few extra minutes, but they do it mess around. It’s nice, because some of the ice creams do have peanuts. In addition to great ice cream, there is a great atmosphere. Cows are in the field at the back, behind a couple of fences. Depending on their mood you can get quite close. there are also chickens and goats which the kids seem to like.

This is one of the best ice cream places around. They have delicious homemade ice cream in a wide variety of flavors. It's creamy and heavenly. It is also though, very heavy, and unfortunately, this place, like so many ice cream places, gives you way too much!! This ice cream is the meal, so you don't want to stop here after getting a heavy meal. Instead, after enjoying some fun in Borderland State Park, swing over to Crescent Ridge (all of 10 min away) and order 1 size smaller than you normally would of your favorite flavor. You won't regret it.

Great place for ice cream on a hot summer night. They have about 50 different flavors and the portion sizes are large. There are some animals, cows and goats, for the kids to look at. Try to avoid peak hours as the lines can get long, even with their 15 windows.

The ice cream is delicious, and the servings are HUGE. The "small" would be a large anywhere else, and even the "kiddie" and "tiny tot" sizes are still pretty big. Everything but the tiny tot ($3.60) is a bit expensive, though ($5.65, 6.65, and 7.65 for kiddie, small, and large, respectively).

Crescent Ridge is absolutely the best ice cream! The flavors are smooth, creamy and fresh, no other creamery comes close. The servings are generous and the setting is peaceful and friendly. I wish I lived closer but at least they have home delivery of all of their products.

The ice cream is always delicious. Typical New England experience waiting in line at a window to get your treat. Staff is efficient and cheerful. They don't get the milk from their own cows anymore, the land they own is too small for the number of cows they need to meet demand. They get the milk from a farm in Vermont and pasteurize it on site. Not as local as it used to be but still local New England. The ice cream sizes are amazingly generous. Their kid size is the aize.of other places smalls or mediums. A large will almost melt before you can finish it on a hot day. You've been warned! They sell milk in glass bottles ($2.00 bottle deposit), ice cream, and raised to organic standards (however not officially certified organic if you care about things like that) beef, and other meat products. Check this place out. You'll be waiting in line due to their popularity but it's worth every minute.

Great price for the quality! I've been coming here for years and the ice cream and milk products have stayed consistently delicious! Plenty of parking but the lines get long in the summer.There is lots of outdoor seating with a view of the animals that are out to pasture at that time. Sometimes the cows are out, but almost always you'll be able to hang out with the goats and donkeys! A small is huge (second largest!) so beware of buying the number of scoops you actually want. I will personally recommend the ginger ice cream with walnuts and hot fudge sauce!! Inside, there is a small air conditioned area where you can buy fresh milk and ice cream. The best chocolate milk I have ever had!

Really Pricey for Ice-cream but otherwise good!

I've enjoyed Crescent Ridge milk for years. We drove by the creamery today and decided to try their ice cream. It was good, but huge. I ordered the kiddie size thinking it was the smallest, but it was huge and I had trouble getting through it. They have an even smaller size "tots" so order that if you don't want huge expensive helpings.

At 50 years old I can tell you I have been getting icecream here since I was a little kid with my parents. Also, growing up, we had their milk delivered to our house. My younger brother still has their milk delivered. You are not likely to find more delicious icecream or milk anywhere. Their icecream stand is second to none and the staff there are are incredibly polite and friendly. A great family or date destination day or night.

We have been going to Crescent Ridge for many years. The ice cream us SUPER good and the serving size is huge. Sadly this year they have pushed the price boundaries too far. Great ice cream! Highly recommend visiting to get some, the flavors are all great! Glad that they're open year round. Note that you can use the inside register during the summer months if you're buying a container to take home, which I'd recommend if you want a short line if it's busy.

Generous portions of excellent Ice cream at reasonable prices... what more do you need to know? They also sell their own milk & butchered meats. PS. Parking can be tight, and service slow @ peak hours during the summer months as it gets super busy. Personally I’ve always found it worth the wait.

They have 4 sizes, tiny tot, kiddie, small and large. The small is huge! The tiny tot is perfect for someone who doesn't want to over indulge and wants to keep cost down.

All of the ice cream is exceptionally rich, creamy, and delicious. Place gets extremely busy in the summer, so be prepared to wait a bit even though they usually have about 6 different lines open. If you are a chocolate person the Extreme Chocolate is a must. My other favorites here are the Maine Black Bear, Cookie Dough, and Cake Batter. My wife likes the Salted Pretzel Caramel.

Their ice cream is fantastic, and even a kiddie is enough for an adult male, if we're being honest. But go for the small! Had the black bear, salted caramel pretzel, Mississippi Mud Pie, and the cow prints. They were all delicious, and the black bear was one of the best I've ever had.

The ice cream here is amazing! It's made on site and they have a wide range of flavors to choose from. My personal favorite is the mint oreo. The serving sizes are massive - the sizes are teeny tot, kiddie, small, and large. The "small" is enormous - I usually get teeny tot or kiddie size. There is also a small store where you can buy their milk, packaged ice cream and some meats (like grass fed beef).

Great icecream... during corona virus they serve by car hop. They have staff passing out menus and directing traffic due to long lines around ropes and cones and directing cars into specific lanes. Well thought out to get you in and out as quick and smoothly as possible.

The ice cream is amazing and portions are LARGE. Get the Jimmies if you like them. They are great too! You can sit out back and look at the cows and goats and beautiful farm land. Potentially long lines because everyone knows just how good it is. While you are there, get some milk. It’s the best milk i can remember having. If you love it as much as I do, you can have home delivery!!! Who doesn’t want a “milk man”? How cool is that?

Crescent Ridge’s ice cream is top-notch. Would you expect anything less from a dairy farm that also produces farm fresh milk that’s been open more than 50 years? :P I haven’t met a flavor I didn’t like—if sherbet is your thing they make an excellent orange sherbet that’s just the right amount of creamy and bursting with citrus and sunshine. The Graham Central Station is a winner too if you like fudge covered graham crackers. Tiny Tot is their smallest size and it was perfect for me! One note, if you go on a hot, sunny, day, you should expect to wait. The lines move (unless you have the misfortunate of being behind someone that orders 100 frappes). Just be patient and know that awesome ice cream awaits you. P.S. The chocolate jimmies here are the real deal. Don’t forget to top off your cone with them for free! You can also stop inside if you want to pick up some milk—go for chocolate or coffee for a treat!

The selection of icecream is amazing. I love icecream with lumps and crunchy things mixed in for added texture. Usually go to Coldstone to get this stuff but Crescent ridge icecream just tastes amazing.

I have been enjoying Crescent Ridge Ice Cream for 45 years and plan to keep going back for another 45 if I make it that long. The prices have gotten a bit steep, but the sizes are huge. I haven't been able to finish anything bigger than a "kiddie" size in years. Strawberry shortcake are amazing! They use biscuits, not those horrible yellow sponge cake (ugh!) things. Peppermint stick with jimmies (they are NOT sprinkles!) is my "go to" favorite.

The ice cream is really good, I like the short bread one compared to the few flavors I've tried so far. You can expect little parking and long lines after dinner which is about 5 or 6 PM, but the wait is well worth it.

Fantastic service during covid, you don’t even have to leave your car. Lines were long before and still are, but now you get to sit in your air conditioning! Nice staff and excellent ice cream plus pasture raised meats. I can’t recommend Crescent Ridge enough!

Been going here since i was an infant .. My father and uncle wete close friends of Stan, the present owner, Mark's dad. .. Great family .. Great work ethic .. Great product. Everything here is of high quality. Ice cream and ice cream related products are the great equalizer; upon eating it, we are all, suddenly, children. I do not believe i have ever seen a sad face here .. it's very difficult to be sad when enjoying your favorite flavor ice cream. Love this place

Love me some ice cream from Crecent Ridge. The ice cream is homemade Yummy. They have a little store where you can buy ice cream to bring home, eggs, milk and meat. They also have a few animals for you to visit. There are grass areas to sit. Not many picnic tables, so bring a blanket or folding chairs if you want to enjoy sitting outside to eat your ice cream. It gets pretty busy, so be prepared to wait in line.

A must go to place in the suburbs for some homemade ice cream treat! Tons of tradiotonal and common flavors that anyone can relate to. I personally love their coconut almond and mocha chip! They also sell half gallon ice cream and ice cream cakes , can call in advance for special orders or you can take home 1 pint of any ice cream on the spot! Also sell farm fresh honey, jimmies, chocolate fudge. There are also cows and goats behind the ice cream store which kids love. Sizes are tiny toys, small, med, large.They have "tiny tots" meant for the little ones, which equate to a generous serving of a "small" ice cream anywhere else

Best ice cream in the area. Sitting area and farm animals at the back. The amount of ice cream is huge, large is really large, take into account that every scoop is huge so small even might be too much. The Sunday is amazing and you can buy by the pound as well

We used to get home delivery from these folks. The milk man would leave our order in a insulated box outside. I used to love it. Their ice cream bar is fantastic. So many great flavors. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out.

Pretty good ice cream. 10/10 for creaminess, 7/10 for flavors. 6/10 for price. We tried the following: cookies and cream, coffee, mocha chip, and smores. Cookies and cream was the best of the bunch with nice, rich flavors. Coffee and mocha chip we pretty good, although I was hoping for a stronger coffee flavor. Smores was ok, with a decent graham cracker flavor and a distinct caramel flavor. Didn't get any marshmallow or chocolate flavors though. I'd probably go there again, but I'd pass on having to wait 20-30 minutes in those long, slow lines. Not really worth it, IMHO. Either go when the lines are short or go inside and buy it there.

Update 7/10/2021 We tried Crescent Ridge again, and had a much better experience. Walk up counter is back in service, and seating is once again available outside! My daughter and I were turned away from the drive through on our bicycles today. Apparently motorcycles are allowed, but bicyclists (with masks on) are not. Most likely this is to discourage customers from eating close to the Farm (outdoor tables are not open), but we were disappointed. Especially since many restaurants are now open for dine-in, in addition to outdoor dining.

The ice cream comes in a variety of flavors (35+) and sizes. Note that the "small" is actually huge, but you can opt for a "kiddie" size. Overall the flavors are good, but not as rich/creamy as "premium" store bought varieties. The door on the far left also allows customers to enter and buy items like pies, meats, and milk.

Ice cream is super fresh. You can go inside to their freezers and buy it in containers to save some dough. They also sell fresh milk and other dairy things. The milk comes in old school glass containers that they charge a refundable deposit on.. I kept mine tho cuz it was so cool looking! Never in my life has my energy for "extra sprinkles" been better matched than how it was on this day. Some people hear "extra sprinkles" and give you a little extra on top, which all fall off. Nay. I was given sprinkles in the bottom of the cone, in the middle of the scoops, and a little extra in a cup. I wish I got her name to give her a shout out but quite frankly I was overwhelmed with joy. This girl is a blessing to the world and to Crescent Ridge. 11/10.

We’re so fortunate to have a real-fashioned dairy farm/dairy bar in our otherwise suburban area. The place really rocks on summer evenings but since this is New England they’re open year-round. They do seem to have trouble keeping some of their more interesting frozen yogurt flavors in stock.

Extremely well done classic ice cream. Look to Toscanini's or JP Licks for cutting edge flavors, but Crescent Ridge is a local institution due to its excellent traditional ice cream. The portion sizes are absurdly large. Order the kiddie size unless you intend to make a meal out of your ice cream. Service can be slow at times and the lines long, but it is worth it if you're in the area. Long gone are the cows (I believe they now source their milk from Vermont), but the traditional quality of this New England dairy bar remains.

I have been going to Crescent Ridge for about 40 years. The ice cream has always been excellent and the portions are large. Here's the problem.....when the grandfather ran the place you got great ice cream, huge portions at a tremendous price. Since the grandson took over it has gone corporate. Charge what the market will bear. The place is expensive! It will cost you $25 for 4 cones! Yikes! And if you want something exotic like a hot fudge Sunday you best get a loan first!

Well first and foremost the ice cream is amazing! It's no wondwe why people flock here for the taste! However It is overpriced for sure. They are going off the name for sure. Also they were understaffed and had no windows open and everyone was jammed in the store and none of the workers at any idea how oh where a line formed or what to do about. Also the girl who served me had razor blade cuts all up amd down both arms! Nasty. Nice to know the oweners hire people that have cutting issues serving food! So wrong!

My best piece of advice, when you see a huge line, is to go inside and pick up a half-gallon of 1% low-fat chocolate milk to bring home and order your ice cream treats. Only customers who order from the cases or displays are allowed to order ice cream from inside.

When I was a kid, my family would sometimes go to Thatcher's State Park in the Heldeberg's of New York State. Along the route there, or more importantly, on the way back home, was an ice cream store. Dutcher's. It was not in a strip mall or part of a retail complex. It was a single building located in farm country with cows grazing in the back. For 35 cents one received a mountain of ice cream on a cone barely able to support it. Crescent Ridge is as close to this experience as I have ever come, complete with the smell of cows and not the least, the mountain of ice cream. Not 35 cents anymore, but the "regular" will not disappoint. In fact, if you want a reasonable amount, get the "kiddie." And, if you want a portion for your kiddie, there's a size smaller yet. This is an outing you will repeat and create your own memories of.

Not like it used to be....we stop by once a year to remember our favorite ice cream stand from 50 years ago....grew up going there with my grandmother....we noticed that shakes are now much smaller and prices much higher...depressing.....service wasn't great either... Customers were waiting to order and staff just standing around ignoring them....Had to call out to ask for someone to take our order....not good....retraining is probably needed to ensure staff is considerate of the customers...on the positive side, the ice cream tastes good!

He even left the milk truck idoling to spew diesel throughout the neighborhood and continues to harass her asking her to golf with him.
