OMG! Where has this place been all my life? Been around for 7 decades and this is simply the best ice cream (vanilla) I have ever had! Friends recommended it since we are new to the area. My wife had chocolate mint - equally as good. They have a good selection of dairy - we bought black pepper cheese and jalapeño cheese Kurds. I’m not sure how can not go here each week. If you like ice cream, this is a must!

Decent ice cream joint that offers other dairy products and containers of pre-packed ice cream. It's not the best I've ever had, but it satisfied our ice cream craving. Some of the flavors we tried did not have enough flavoring (i.e. the maraschino cherry almond was super light on the cherry flavor, and the grasshopper's mint flavor wasn't very noticeable). Friendly customer service, but very small inside, so not a lot of seating. I don't know that I would go out of my way to go back. My favorite is still Coldstone, but I like to be able to customize. If you just want already prepared ice cream like Baskin Robbins, then you will probably be satisfied here.

I love hard ice cream. I had one scoop of chocolate almonds. It was huge, and so yummy, can't remember what my hubby had or David or Tiara. Will go again, I live by the airport so it's quite the trip.

Their ice cream cart catering and customer service is TOP NOTCH!! Krid kept saying they wanted me to feel like I got my money’s with they truly went above & beyond everything I asked. I let her know that my event will have lots of deaf people so I asked them to print out their options to make things as visual as possible. She was super understanding. Not only did they do all of that but she surprised me by bringing an employee who knew some sign and made the extra effort to learn a little herself. They also went above & beyond to make sure the leftovers were taken care of. And most importantly, all the different ice cream in the cart was sublime. Everyone loved it!!

It’s okay. The ice cream is decent but not good enough for the price IMO. The flavors were disappointingly bland. The strawberry cheesecake just tasted like mild strawberry, no cheesecake. The cookie dough was okay. I’d have been just as happy taste wise with Breyer’s cookie dough and Breyer’s strawberry, and I’d have been able to buy a 1/2 gallon of each flavor for the same price.

It was our first time at Reed's a couple of nights ago and the ice-cream at is fantastic - we dare say the best we have ever had. Super rich, creamy and smooth. The texture and flavor of the ice-cream is premium and satisfying. We love that this is a local business using high quality local milk and cream as the base of their product - you can taste the love and attention to detail! Additionally the store is clean and bright, the staff is friendly and the flavor assortment is great! We definitely recommend Reed's and it will be our go-to ice-cream spot moving forward!

This restaurant is our go-to place for celebrations or just to enjoy the delicious food items like ice cream and the grilled cheese sandwich with ham! This time last Saturday was because of getting our second vaccine for the virus. Mary did a wonderful job as our server being a whirl of energy and friendliness. Loved the apple pie ice cream cone and my wife enjoyed the huckleberry cone and grilled cheese sandwich with ham. Thank you for the great service, Mary.

Was always a big fan of Reed's when we visit Idaho Falls. Didn't really know there were multiple locations here in the Boise area until I saw a story on KIVI Ch. 6. The wife was craving sweets, and we were sort of close so we drove out to SW Boise and could not have been happier. The scoops of ice cream are HUGE and really tasty. I got a chocolate milkshake. The kid running the counter asked if I "wanted it made with regular or chocolate milk?" Has ANYBODY ever said, "You know what, I'll take chocolate ice cream and white milk."? This was maybe the best milkshake I have ever had. Super excited to make Reed's part of our local shopping loop now. #ThinkBoiseFirst

We stopped in this evening to enjoy an ice cream cone. So many flavors to choose from! The line was to the door but moved quickly. Fast and friendly service. I chose "hot" chocolate - chocolate ice cream enhanced with jalepeno oil. It was delicious. Akin to a cinnamon heat level -not too much spice, very good flavor! My husband chose strawberry cheesecake in a waffle cone. He was impressed with the excellent flavor and ample serving sizes. Reasonable prices and great ice cream. We'll definitely be back!

Yum yum yum.... So good. It may be a little more expensive than your average ice cream parlor but totally worth it and worth the wait if there's a line. They typically have enough staff to move throw the line quickly. Also they are owned my a local company in Pocatello. So your supporting Idaho by chosing this place for your daily treat. Delicious milk! Definitely worth the price. Also excellent tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. From 11-2 you can get the lunch combo where you get chips and a soda too. There’s also really good ice cream. Several flavors including huckleberry.

I love all things they offer! Best grilled cheese, milk, eggs, and ice cream! I do wish they had a coffee pot though, nothing fancy, just a simple cup of Joe would be nice.

Excellent customer service every time I come here. I suggest switching up the music a little bit though. Maybe some radio station hits. The grilled cheese was immaculate! I dropped my grilled cheese and the manager made me a fresh one for no charge. I will definitely be telling my family about this place when they fly in town for my wedding. Better yet I’ll be ordering for my wedding.

Chocolate milk and ice cream to die for. And the best lunch combo - grilled cheese sandwich and made from scratch tomato soup. Sandwich is made with their cheese and a local bakery's bread. Toasted golden brown and the cheese is gooey chewy good. (@ $6.50 the price can't be beat)

I LOVE the treats and quality here. I’m submitting 3 stars tonight because I feel you deserve 5 for the product, but a 1 tonight for the value. All of your servers BUT ONE, that we get about every 3rd visit, shorts the doubles we get. Tonight, just because, we took them home and weighed them. The doubles were 1/2 ounce and 3/4 ounce heavier than the single. If we get charged $25 for ice cream and some of our party asked for doubles, please serve doubles. The rest of your crew does, and they are GREAT! You know who you are.... 🤓

Love this place but sometimes we buy milk that has already gone bad. The raw milk we picked up last week had chunks in it. One of the only places you can get raw milk so we just deal with it.

I received my first delivery. The dairy products were exactly as described. I have a sensitivity to commercial dairy products so I shopped carefully for a product that would provide me with a nutritious and delicious experience. I read a comment from someone who said this is the only dairy product his wife can use safely. I agree. I feel well after using all of the dairy products I purchased in recipes, on the side or as a main dish. I got the full cream, the half & half, the whole milk and the cheese. I made my own cream cheese with the full cream so that I didn't have to buy commercial cream cheese.

Best ice cream in the valley!! Bubble gum, black licorice & tons of "kid" flavors but the best is their huckleberry! It has been our "go to" ice cream, milk & cheese curds place when raising my family in Idaho Falls. So happy they expanded to Boise & Meridian so my grandchildren can enjoy!! I am taking away my 5th star due to them being closed on Sunday's, especially at this location! There is nothing out here (5mile/lake hazel) except Albertsons to get ice cream. The weekends are when families go to places like this!😞

This is a great local Idaho ice cream shop. They make all their own products from their own dairy in the state. They have the typical ice cream options, but also include toasted cheese sandwiches make with all their own ingredients (bread, butter, and cheese). The butter is a bit on the sweet side, so the sandwiches are pretty unique tasting, but still very good.
