Best candy store in our valley! I’ve been going to the one at Bown Crossing for 15yrs and went to check out Meridian location today. It’s just as amazing as the Boise location! Every candy/treat you could possibly need. Will go again and again and again!!! ❤️

Staff was friendly and helpful. We tried the Gelato flavors, but chose limoncello and tiramisu. It was a perfect snack for a hot summer day. The vintage candy was truly a treasure. Left with Zotz, Cherry Sparkle Laffy Taffy, candy gum cigarettes, and Pop Cookin'. Was glad to bring back and share some of my childhood candy with my own children.

I frequent this store regularly but am finding a loss of interest. Initially it felt nostalgic and whimsical. Now it feels old and tired. I don't think it's ever been "rearranged" to make it come back to life and feel more interesting. The same stock in the same place for how many years? It's gotten boring. I just walk in, get what I want and get out. One thing I noticed too was the staffing changes. There used to be young, friendly store clerks who seemed happy to help and made the experience more enjoyable. It's just tired.

My sister and I are obsessed with Willy Wonka, and we happened to find this candy store which is totally awesome! We loved it more than any candy store in the treasure Valley. Super amazing and awesome variety, 10/10 recommend to everyone.

When my daughter and I went in the store I saw old candy and new candy it was amazing how they had a little bit of everything and don't even get me started on how cute the Harry Potter items are, since my daughter is a huge Harry Potter fan she loved there selection.

Love love love the truffles. Used to live in Boise and make it a regular stop. But now we live out in Ontario but still find our way here every couple weeks getting goodies! Great service. When my five year old daughter wanted to hand pick candy from the bulk licorice bins, an employee got her a plastic glove to wear while she did it. I wish there were more options without artificial dyes. Also, it can get pretty pricey, so I have only taken my kids there twice in two years.

Oh my heck!! First off is the experience your eyes take in just walking into this store! It's Candy heaven for sure! We try to make visiting here a special occasion for the kids a few times a year. Candy from the Good Ol' days, as well as 100's of choices of other candy..my kids love the jawbreakers, they have several to choose from. There is so much to see it takes quite awhile to decide what you want! ❤️

Lots of good things to choose from but the one thing my aunt was after, they didn't have, sarsaparilla. We've been on a hunt and struck out! They did have some rare bottled soda, just not the flavor we were looking for. Will be back! Cute little place!

***UPDATE*** Just had a wonderful talk with Debbie and am happy to change my rating from a 2 to a 5. We both understood and got where the issue I had was coming from. Great customer service, I will for sure be back to give them another try. Thank you ! I’m sad to say I was a little disappointed in the product of this store. It was recommended to me for my holiday candy. The stores cute and had many choices to pick from. I pick out many different taffy flavors and chocolate covered gummy bears. Both disappeared my family. They didn’t taste fresh. I’m sorry to say but I have gotten fresher taffy from Winco and the gummy bears I use to get fresher from Fred Meyers bulk (sadly they no longer carry them). I may try them again for the ice cream.

Boise native here- This is a cute, but small candy store. They are always playing Charlie and the Chocolate factory, which makes it fun. The products are expensive, but that goes with this side of town. The staff is usually nice. The customers that tend to come here ( out of state transplants ) are never friendly. They ruin the experience.

Very cool candy shop. A bit of nostalgia with playing the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on the TV’s while playing musical interludes from Pink Panther and I Love Lucy and signed classical pictures on the wall. Huge (And I mean HUGE) selection of candies from today and yesteryear, a selection of sodas (Bazooka?), and even gelato. Pretty cool and worth a visit.

Great store. So many fun candies. Really good gellato, good variety of flavors. Also a great variety of black licorice. The chocolates case is very nice. I tried the truffles and honeycomb, very good. The only complaint, I feel the prices are too high.

So, the candy is nice. Quite an assortment. But the manager or owner, whoever I talked to on the phone, is AWESOME! I thought I had payed for and then forgotten a couple soda pops there. I called but got an answering machine. I felt silly leaving a message about a couple drinks. But they called me back and was able to look up my purchase to confirm that they didn't get rung up. I must have set them on the counter but forgot to hand them to the cashier. Most likely my fault. BUT they were so interested in me having a good experience there that they wanted to take responsibility for it and treat me to the sodas. I politely declined but let her know that I appreciated the kind gesture. Seriously, this is THE example of good customer service. We're talking about two soda pops. They went above and beyond over two soda pops. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and they have Willy Wonka playing on their TV :-)

This place is an absolute dream. I am one of the biggest Willy Wonka fans you will probably ever meet, and the store is completely decked out in the movie memorabilia. It is a little on the spendy side, but if you're looking for amazing tasting candy, or even just the experience of going into a real Candy shop, this is definitely a place that you should try. They don't have just candy. They also have ice cream, soda pop, and several sections that are themed, like Harry Potter. They also have a really cool little area with lunch boxes and dressing up hats for costumes and such. Definitely recommend.

Super cute candy store! They have just about everything thing you could think of! It sure brings you back to your childhood going to the corner store to get penny candy. The prices are what you would expect at a candy store. They had gelato, truffles, and chocolates also. The only downfall was the building was small for the amount of people in there on a Saturday. It was certainly a fun treat to visit Cravin's!!

What a blast from the past! So many treats reminded me of my childhood. The candy is reasonably priced and the staff is extremely friendly. It was nice to have a conversation with them. The house made Turtles are THE BOMB!

If you're looking for a fun outting, I definitely recommend going here. They have all kinds of old fashioned candy and the kinds of candy from your childhood that aren't sold anywhere but here anymore. They have yummy ice cream too. There's games you can buy for road trips or just family fun too. Their bulk candy is spendy but it's worth it for a one time treat. My kids loved looking at all the different kinds. I enjoyed showing them all the different candy I used to get when I was their age. It was such a fun adventure.

I stop in here whenever I am riding my bike with my 3 year old daughter on the greenbelt. It is our tradition to pop in for a celebratory chocolate. The selection isn't huge, but it is really quite good confectionaries. The only reason that I am awarding only 4 stars is that it is proportionally very expensive for what you would expect. I usually spend $5 - $6 for two chocolates.

Great people and amazing selections of candy, gelato, and other "exotic" types of candy. While a bit on the spendy side, a great place to go for some strange candy! Unfortunately, the place is small so it's not great for groups larger than about 5 people. Outside seating is space but available.

I've been to quite a few candy shops and I think this one is my new favorite!! They have a small 'theater' (a tv and bench) to eat your gelato on. It's great for pics of the kids! They have Harry Potter merch and candy, old candy and soda, and tons of goodies edible and non edible, even some Star Wars and Elvis things. The couple working there were so incredibly nice..even when our 18 month old through a tantrum. They have tons of gelato and sorbet. This place is worth the little trip that it takes to get to that side of Boise.

Expensive. A bag of candy was $30. I know they need to keep prices high to stay in business as a candy store. They need a budget section for the old candy they sell. My son's candy bar fell apert it was so dry. Clearance! Say that is a concept nearly all stores use.

There is something for everyone to get their sugar high on: gelato, sorbet, chocolate dipped candies, jelly bellies, sour powder, salt water taffy, cotton candy, international, classic, and novelty prepackaged candies.
