We stopped by here on our way back from North Georgia. Even though it is 25 miles from our home, my wife and I have joked about driving there just for the ice cream. It was that good. In particular, we loved the Death by Chocolate sundae. The hot fudge in it was unlike any other fudge we've tasted. Is it homemade? It certainly seemed like it.

I got a one scoop in a cone. I was a little disappointed in the size of the waffle cone. It's smaller than nearby competitor's, although I think Coconut's offers more flavors. Coconut's wasn't open on Sunday or else we might have never had another shop to compare it with.

Loved my Pina Colada with Strawberry shaved ice. Did not mind the wait. There was a line for the drive thru and a line for the walk up window. Neither moved too slow. Will certainly visit this local establishment the next time we are in town!!!!

I got chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and it was amazing. I dont know how the shaved ice is, but I've heard it's great and I will definitely go back and try the shaved ice another time. The walk up ordering is fun and very summer like. I love this place and apparently a lot of other people do too.

We waited in line 30 minutes to order a turtle sundae and an almond joy sundae, which was $13. A small child, about 8 or 9 years of age handed us a "turtle" sundae with almonds and vanilla icecream instead of pecans. When a teenager came with another turtle sundae, we told her the mixup, and she argued with us, telling us the little boy gave us the almond joy sundae. My husband handed me the almond joy sundae and drove off, believing her. The almond joy sundae was not made with coconut icecream, so it wasn't an almond joy sundae. The line was too long to take it back, so we drove back to Rome very disappointed. I previously left a 1 star review, and the owner graciously texted me, desiring to improve my experience. I edited my rating to be less severe. I'm disappointed because their coconut ice cream is so good. I hated not getting to enjoy it, but it's obvious they care.

Best experience here! My son has a peanut allergy and Wesley went above and beyond to make sure his ice cream was safe. Told us he would open a brand new container of ice cream and brand new container of sprinkles, and we watched him do that AND correct another worker who tried to use an already open container of sprinkles. Old school ice cream experience, staffed by a new generation that always seem to be having a good time and loving what they do. Genuine Hawaiian shaved ice is hard to come by and the ice cream (cups, cones, shakes, sundaes and splits) is also worth the wait in line. Look at the online menu ahead of time or while you're in line, or just ask for a recommendation. If you like thick shakes, get the extra scoop, you will not be disappointed.

The ice cream, the service, the value... TRULY PHENOMENAL! We pulled up to the drive-thru not knowing what to expect, but were greeted by the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. The owner helped us directly and made sure to give us bumper stickers because we’re from out of town. He gave us suggestions on sights to see. On top of that, we tried a couple flavors and couldn’t decide because they were all too good! Went with a grasshopper sundae and a Mounds sundae. If you’re in Cartersville, you must make a stop at Coconuts!

Both times the shaved ice was very good. Got apple cinnamon the first time. My second time was Tiger Eyes which is strawberry and coconut. My mom had Bahama Mama the first time and then Pina Colada the second time. She liked both of her flavors. The shave ices were very reasonable! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Every single thing we've had here is delicious! Ylu literally can't go wrong with any choice. We like to park and order at the walk up window (although they have a drive thru). Workers are very friendly! Its a go to for any hot night in summer.

Hire Coconuts for your event! We recently had our wedding and we had to have our favorite ice cream and shave ice there! Coconuts makes the whole process of hiring them for events easy. They are so flexible with the time frame, flavors of ice cream and shave ice, and amount of people attending. They're so easy to work with and they truly have the best product. I love Coconut's! Now after sharing my experience, my family loves Coconut's. So many chouces of fun flavors and great toppings. You can drive thru, but it is cool to go order at the window in the front door. The only problem I have seen that people block the street waiting to go through the drive thru.

Great place! It's cute and small but packed with amazing flavors. The staff was very nice and even cracked a few jokes with us. I think what we got was the tsunami? It's the think with dairy ice cream and shaved ice. Sounds weird but it's amazing.

You got to try it on a nice hot summer day or at the end of the day after you eat dinner at one of the great restaurants in Cartersville you got to swing by here for dessert. Really good stuff here. I got the cotton candy ice cream and my dad got strawberry. Both were very good. The cotton candy had pop rocks which I felt was a nice touch. The strawberry had real bits of strawberry in it. It was a nice touch. I definitely recommend to anyone who likes delicious ice cream.

We have been coming here for YEARS! My wife and I came here when we were dating and now we bring our daughter here. Best ice cream and true shaved ice you can get in Cartersville. Incredibly low prices and AWESOME atmosphere. Each employee treats you with respect and kindness. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. If I could give it more than 5 stars I definitely would. Make sure you try the banana pudding ice cream on a waffle cone AND a shaved ice with green apple and DOUBLE sour spray. Just treated a group of 6 people to desserts for $18...can't beat that!

Ice cream was definitely good. The customer service was less than ideal. I understand employing teenagers, but making sure they still maintain some level of professionalism seems important. When we arrived into the store (our first time there), the people working must have recognized a school friend outside because several of them starting shouting this young man's name. To make matters more confusing, it was also my husband's name, so you can imagine our perplexity. We received what we ordered, but most of the workers were clearly more focused on their inner chatting than providing timely service. At the end of the day, still good ice cream, and that's what we went there for.

Such a neat little place. We got a Turtle Sundae and a Death by Chocolate Sundae. Omg to die for. The sundaes were fresh, sweet, and altogether delicious for a very reasonable price. The young ladies working behind the counter were fun and bubbly and jumped to serve us immediately. Will definitely be back!!

First of all the individuals were friendly and made me the best shake I have had in years! They didn't do anything different for me than any other customer really. I asked for a small dollop of their Peanut Butter Cup ice cream atop my vanilla ice cream shake. The flavor of the Ice Cream was pure and the texture of the shake was creamy and left me feeling satisfied. If you want great Ice Cream stop by and see for yourself. Enjoy!

Excellent little ice cream shop! They also offer authentic Hawaiian shaved ice with a huge selection of flavors. It's extremely small inside, but luckily they offer plenty of outdoor seating and a drive-thru! Highly recommended if you're in the area, it's a treat!

This place deserves to be ranked as an iconic must visit when you're in Cartersville!!! It is a tiny little place that serves 2 things; shaved ice and ice cream in about 50 different flavors of perfection. They have a crew of young, fresh faced, enthusiastic workers which made the visit, including the 10-15 minute wait on a Saturday night going through the drive thru, very pleasant! I have already made plans to return and take some friends.

Every town needs an ice cream stand and for Cartersville. This is it. They've plenty of outdoor seating, a drive through, and a walk up window so wheelchair accessibility is easy. Your best bet is a sno-ball tsunami which is a snow cone with a scoop of ice cream. A Cheerwine float is also a rare treat. The kids are friendly at the window.

I cannot tell you how great this stop was. We were just passing through Cartersville just before 11PM, and my daughter and I wanted ice cream. So we did what anyone does in 2019, and we Google searched for ice cream shops that were still open. So we drove about four miles out of the way, and I'm so glad we did. The owner, Darren, greeted us at about five minutes until 11 as if it were the middle of the day - no rush as if they were in a hurry to close. He's got about a half dozen high-school age kids working there, and they are GREAT kids. Very polite and genuinely happy you are there. They, too, appeared to be a in no rush to close or hurry out. The store is a cute Hawaiian themed shop that is located in a pretty neat old-town portion of Cartersville. I don't know Cartersville very well at all, but there were several young couples who were sitting outside in a little patio area, and if we weren't already staring at a midnight return home, we would surely have stayed to enjoy our goodies there. Throughout this entire review, I've yet to mention the ice cream. Well, here goes: simply delicious. Darren allowed us to sample a couple of flavors, and the kids made us an amazing milk shake and a huge waffle cone. Like nothing you can get anywhere else. My daughter and I were blown away. We wished we had one of these where we live, and we vowed we would stop by if we're ever back in Cartersville or happened to be passing through again. Well done, Coconuts!

I'm a shaved ice nut... This place is beyond amazing..... 10 stars!! If Willy Wonka had an ice cream shop... This would be it! I've been going here since the first year they opened the door. I used to go everyday sometimes twice a day before I moved. Now i go everytime I'm within atleast a 15 mile radius. I get a large wedding cake flavor shaved ice w/ double cream, always have, always will. I live near Alabama now, but I'm planning the birth of my child who's due in July, to be in Cartersville just so I can swing in for a treat after all my appointments and especially to have these brought to me while I'm in the hospital!! Not even kidding. This place is the absolute best. The texture of the shaved ice is perfection! It's not hard, it's not compacted, it's not just ice nuggets, It's perfectly, thinley, shaven ice! The juice that they use is not over sugary, it's not bland, they use the right amount so there's no plain ice in your cup, it's perfect. The flavors are true to their names and tastes, and the proportions of the shaved ice which you choose and receive are perfectly priced. I'm sure they have plenty of other frozen goodies here, infact I know they do! and I'm sure they are equally amazing, but if you want to try what in my opinion is the very best shaved ice in the entire southeast and possibly even in the whole continintal u.s., then you need to go no further than little ol' coconuts, One of Cartersvilles best kept secrets!!

My only issue is that if you pay with a credit/debit card, you can't leave a tip. Unless u just happen to have a few dollars on u. Great customer service. The parking needs to be expanded. You're not allowed to park at other businesses.

My kids love this ice cream and every time we go to Cartersville they would beg to stop. I hadn't tried it - for like 5 years my kids would go but I didn't try it. I mean how good could it be? Then a few months ago I finally tried it. Now I too am looking for excuses to go to Cartersville to get ice cream. If I still lived there I think my new Saturday routine would be Ross's Diner for lunch, then walk over to Coconuts for a scoop. Until I was too fat to make the trek. Maybe I'd get one of those scooter things.

We go here about every week. They have a long list of flavors for shaved ice with a wide variety of sizes. You can mix and match anything. The price is the same as anywhere else but cheap for what your getting. They have your typical icecream flavors and alot of unique ones. Almond joy is my favorite. Hands down best ice cream and shaved ice. A little hard to read the drive through menu in an suv or truck. The tsunami shaved ice which comes with a scoup of ice cream in the bottem is genius, the mixture is so good.
