I must say that I was pleasantly surprised here. My friend is obsessed with a Whit's in Florida but I kept picturing soft serve custard with nothing IN it, etc etc. I'm not a big toppings person but if it's mint chips I expect the chips, you know ? Anyway, apparently this frozen custard is HARD. And although there were a few ordering hiccups, this was the best "ice cream" I've had around here. To be honest that's not saying much because I have been SEVERELY under impressed with Ashevolle ice cream. But this stuff is quality. You can notice this is custard due to the thick texture which isn't my favorite but it is what it is. I'm only mad now because I was annoyed at the ordering confusion so didn't think I'd return so I didn't get a frequent scoop punch card, and now I will most definitely be back.

We love Whit's! The custard is made fresh daily, and it's so light and creamy. Add a couple mix-ins to top off your scoop, and you're all set...so delicious!

I've been hoping to find a great frozen custard place since leaving Florida and I found it here at Whit's. Their fresh custard is fantastic and they have lots of mix-ins to choose from. They also have a great selection of pre-made treats to choose from including cookie sandwiches and cartons of various flavors. Very good, check it out!

The custard is super delicious! If you add toppings, it's smart to ask for more custard than toppings! I got whipped cream and it was half custard half cream. :( But it's so fn good!

Delicious after dinner treat! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! My hubby had the vanilla custard in a waffle cone and I tried their Hawaiian Mixer. Made our vacation a little bit sweeter!

SNAPSHOT = details below - quality reigns regardless of which location you visit. The franchisor does a great job ensuring that the in-store experience does not vary much. The store on Hendersonville Road seems a bit brighter and even cleaner than the spotless locations in Hendersonville and on Merrimon Avenue. This store has more fun art on the walls. Bottom line - Whit's is 👍

Not that much bang for your buck but it is tasty. I got the cool coffee milkshake. I enjoyed it but the medium is at least $5 but it’s really like small. The custard is rich so I enjoyed it. I’d come back. The cashier lady with the blonde hair was sweet !

Whit's Frozen Custard is a must for satisfying your ice cream cravings. The custard is so creamy and delicious. They offer vanilla, chocolate, and a flavor of the week. Or, you can order a custom Whitser, custard and mixed-in candy toppings of your choice! Masks were required and all workers were wearing masks, which was much appreciated.

The closest thing to homemade snow cream that I have found. It's amazingly creamy and the flavor is out of this world. Also the chocolate chip cookie with frozen custard sandwich was ridiculously awesome. A friend tried it on a whim after eating at Blaze Pizza and it's one of my faves now.

I've been wanting to try out Whit's for awhile because I am such a fan of custard. So glad I finally went because this was seriously the best coffee custard I've ever had. The custard was so smooth and creamy and was the perfect treat for after dinner with my husband!! I can't wait to go back!

If you love chocolate, this is the place for you!!! Whit's has a variety of chocolate options & nuts. I am a fan of fruits. UNFORTUNATELY, my options were very few. I got a really good Strawberry Cheesecake Whiser. The Grab & Go, may have more options.

Great customer service and delicious custard. They have a bunch of specialty custards that they can make as a shake, whitzer or a sundae. Plus, a kids menu with specialties. Floats are also available. Everything was awesome and they have a punch card too.

So glad they have reopened back from their winter break. Always enjoy they're custards. Vanilla is tasty and their various flavors of the week are worth a try. They have a reward card so you get a freebie with every 10 purchases. Not transferable to the other joint in town which doesn't honor it.

We had never had frozen custard, it was awsome. We created ower own banana split vanilla custard, recesses penutbutter cup pieces chocolate syrup, peanut butter syrup whip cream and two cheeries. Amazing amazing amazing we were impressed. This by far is the best place to get a yummy treat date night for sure. Everyone should come here. And the staff was great two. Thumbs up and if I could it would be rated 10 stars here's my 10 stars. **********

I actually haven't been to this location, but Google thought I had because I was at the pizza joint next door. That said, I love Whit's, and my family and I frequent the one in North Asheville regularly. My favorite is the "Whitty," which is the two chocolate chip cookies with frozen custard between them. The wife and kids like pretty much anything there. Keep it up, Whit's!

The product was amazing but the staff seemed somewhat rude to me. My 3 year old son dropped his Fish Bait custard cup and all the gummy worms fell out and some of the cookie dough and no one even offered to help they just stared at us while I picked all of it up and did not say a word.

Whit's does one thing, and they do it well. I wish they had a few more selections for toppings, but the custard is always good quality, and the employees are always very friendly. I especially like this location.

It's not the experience that I value as much as the product, though both are always positive. This is my new obsession, the best indulgence in town, a great way to end a date. Every flavor I've tried has been excellent, and I look forward to working my way through the rest. Whit's is definitely Whit's up, Asheville.
