right off the bat, I had high hopes. saw it on my way to dinner and got really excited, the atmosphere was part nice, part trash. the ice cream was good, was also bitten up by mosquitos... no indoor seating. my ice cream tasted like something you would buy at ingles.

Have a craving for something sweet? They have a solution. From lava cakes, to milkshakes, freezes to cones, slushies and sundaes, etc. We experienced our first Boston milkshake which is a milkshake with a sundae on top, talk about decadent and they have hundreds of flavor combos. It was a difficult decision. The toffee cake was delicious as well but a few bites and even the biggest sweet tooth is satisfied so be sure to bring a friend! The sprinkle child cones are the perfect amount for your little ones. We will definitely come back!

Went and got the dipped cone. Very good but wish they would dip twice before they give them to you so they can harden a little more. Always a great place to get ice cream on a hot day.

Love going here. Such great treats as well as great service. Some times there's a wait but it's due to the volume of people flooding in to grab there favorite ice cream or milk shake ect.... Employees are always busy and working hard.

We’re from out of town and read reviews looking for good ice cream. We drove out of our way with high hopes. While the ice cream was good, we were looking forward to eating our waffle cones. The two of us that ordered them bit into stale, chewy cones that had a strange taste. The cones weren’t even edible and went into the trash.

This is the best ice cream in town! I'll be honest, it took me a while to try this place, I guess because the building looks old, but don't hesitate like I did because they are serving up some excellent ice cream. They have soft serve, but also regular in a bunch of flavors. They do sundaes, shakes, and even some baked goods

Too much damn ice cream! No really great sized treats, we had chocolate crumbles everywhere. It's been a while since we made a mess and got to laugh and have a good time about it. The service was also great.

Cute little locals spot that's open seasonally. If you're new like me, a Freeze is basically a Blizzard. Get extra toppings for $.75, it's worth it. A sundae is a vanilla ice cream with toppings. The line goes slow, so be patient. Bring a book. Tip the workers in cash, they're just kids.

You know those places that are right there but you can miss it? This is that place, it's nestled in on Patton Ave, it doesn't stick out like Cookout does (visually) but it's well worth the drive in. Well-priced food, prompt service, and a great quick stop. Gives a real hometown feel to a stretch of Asheville that sometimes feels more like a strip mall.

I've been trying to find a place that makes a Banana strawberry milkshake ever since McDonald's stopped. And this place has them. They are awesome, the staff is extremely friendly and they have a good variety of things. It can be packed with people but it's well worth the wait.

Small town drive-thru soft serve at its best. Walk-up service is also available. My go-to is chocolate soft serve ice cream with sprinkles in a waffle cone. So tasty! The line goes pretty quick and the staff are friendly and polite. ❤️

Nostalgic visit. Reminds me of many of the old soft serve places from my youth. But they also had sundaes and great flavors of "hard" ice cream. I got a dipped soft serve. The medium is huge so be warned. My only complaint is they did not do a very good job with dipping my cone. It was sparsely covered and kept leaking. They should have double dipped it. Otherwise great experience!

Delicious pitstop a hot summer day. If your on a budget 2 bucks will cool you off in the form of a slush puppy, for 5 bucks a quarter you can get a fantastic large milkshake. The peanut butter crunch is great as well as the strawberry banana. The smiling and upbeat staff make it a pleasure to do business. The best part is tax is included so you always have a nice even total when you pay. If the line is long dont let that turn you away, this place is quick in efficient when the server their customers.

Tasty ice cream for a great price! First time we spent a little over $15 for 4 orders, that usually cost us double at every other place we've gone to so far. Our new go to place for ice cream. I definitely recommend. Convenient parking, drive though, or outdoor space for seating. The only reason why I gave it a 4 out of 5, is because I love eating my ice cream in a waffle bowl and they don't have that option available. Other than that, great place!

The ice cream was good but the service was outstanding. My wife and I chose to share a banana split. We made a few special requests on ours and the young ladies were more than accommodating, right down to two spoons without asking. Thanks ladies, we will be back.

If you like cake with ice cream and love it when the ice cream starts to melt and soften the cake get the fudge cake freezie!! It's like cake and ice cream overload. It was so amazing! This has been here for as long as I can remember. I finally went to it for the first time (I don't live on that side of town so it isn't convenient for me to go) and it was delicious. They have a drive-thru, a walk-up service window, and outdoor seating. I had their pineapple upside down sundae and it made the awful heat outside a little bearable. Wonderful little spot to sit and people watch.

Last place in town you can get an old school butterscotch dip cone. Big tip, the drive thru backs up quick but you can park in little ceasers parking lot and use their walk up window

Not really wheelchair accessible. I dune think you can get to the window. But they do have a drive-thru. Plenty of parking BUT leaving is difficult. You either have to go through the drive-thru lane (which means waiting for those ahead of you) or go out the In. As for the delights, fantastic! I got a Freezee with choc ice cream with Reese cups. LOTS of Reese cups! Prices are good.

Love Tastee Freez. It is just a tiny building with tables outside and a drive up window. They open in spring and close in the fall. Usually high schoolers working, but they have a blast creating a fun atmosphere. It's nothing fancy, just good.
