Delicious ice cream. A hit with the family and kid! Fudge and chocolate looked good too, but we didn't get any on this trip. Next time we stop in we'll have to get some to try. Very friendly staff and very helpful too.

Love this shop! Visited today and talk about chocolate heaven. The apple pie caramel covered apple was yummy! They also have all sorts of chocolate covered treats to die for, and fudges! One of our go-to sweet shops when we're in Asheville.

It was pretty amazing, the staff were very attentive, and very pleased with their work. The Ice Cream was superb, I got the Dulce de Leche today, the flavor was there and it was refreshing. Also the store has many kind of different chocolate that caught my eye. I will go back again soon

This place has is like a chocolate addicts dream come true. They have some of everything. Massive chunks of fudge, if you buy two you get one free. I am absurdly sure, no one needs three pieces of this fudge. We tried two of the nut clusters. Amazing. And the buckeyes which were good. There is so much to try I'd live to go back.

I think this was the best experience I’ve ever had getting ice cream from a shop. First of all, the servers were GREAT. Not only were they hilarious, but they gave great recommendations and encouraged us to try multiple flavors. They made lots of jokes with us and it really made the experience so much more fun. It was also very late at night and near closing, so for them to have kept us entertained near the ends of their shifts was amazing. Now to the ice cream. I got the Kilwin’s Tracks (pretty good tracks, I think most tracks have the peanut butter cup overpowering the other flavors but this one didn’t), fudge brownie (great chunks of brownie in the ice cream, and the ice cream itself was great as well), and the marshmallow one (I forgot the name but OH KY GOD this might’ve been the best flavor I’ve had. The marshmallows had meshed into the ice cream to make this amazing texture and the graham cracker pieces were the cherry on top). All this in a waffle cone? Amazing Saturday night.

I had to stop by Kilwin’s while on vacation. As soon as you walk in the store smells so delicious! Their fudge and ice cream are really good! Staff was very nice.

Always a family favorite! We love their ice cream...hard to pick a fave flavor but the kids love the "Tracks". Oh, and the dark chocolate coconut clusters are addictive! We just stopped at this location this evening as my husband saw the caramel corn in the window that was freshly made. My husband is in a wheelchair and there is a step to get in the establishment. As my daughter and I were going in the shop, the gentleman making the goodies came around to us and asked if my husband wanted to come in. He proceeded to get a ramp so my husband could enjoy the experience. I am so impressed with this gentleman's observance!! So many times people overlook my husband but this man went out of his way to maker him feel welcome!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for your kindness!!!!!! The goodies were amazing as well!

Who doesn't just love kilwin's? The ice cream is so decadent as is the fudge and other great confections. I love their double dark sea salt caramel fudge and the dark chocolate toffee. The staff is super friendly and will chat you up about the making process too. Very cool.

We had dinner at Chai Pani and decided to have ice cream at Kilwins for dessert because it is right next door. We were so happy we did! Not only is the ice cream amazing but the service is beyond phenomenal. Richard helped us and would let us sample ice creams but from those flavors we tried he would know another flavor we may love more and give us a sample. Because of Richard we found the best possible flavors. He even walked outside to hand it to my boyfriend (who was with our dog) and took the time to explain every flavor we picked out for him. Richard was the best! Go to Kilwins for great service and yummy treats.

I am a big fan of Kilwins. The Asheville shop has been a regular stop or or mine with friends, family and clients for quite sometime. This last visit October 20th in the evening was very disappointing and actually disturbing. I brought a dear friend in who was visiting the area and was looking forward to a delicious scoop of ice cream. We felt like excited kids when we walked in wondering what flavors we would get. My girlfriend wanted to use the ladies room as needed and there was an employee who very abruptly stopped her and told her she was not allowed to use the restroom. Mind you we did read the sign that read “it wasn’t available to the public” but since we had seen this same notice in a couple other places we dined at earlier this past week that allowed us to use their restrooms since we were customers, my girlfriend and I both assumed it was ok. When I asked this rude female employee to clarify she again was very rude and read what the sign said and followed up by saying it was for employees only. “It doesn’t read for employees only” I stated and the rude female employee said “well it is”. Because of her rude and embarrassing attitude we left and enjoyed The Chocolate Lounges delicious treats and kind professional service. The restroom facility at Kilwins should have a sign that reads “for employees only” and not leave doubt nor should they have someone so rude communicating with patrons. This could’ve played out so differently in so many ways. I will not return back to this Kilwins location until this employee is let go as I wouldn’t want subject friends, family, clients or myself to being handled so rudely as if being scolded in front of a crowd of people. Mood killer for us and I’m sure for the customers that were there.

Absolutely WONDERFUL service tonight! Went in with my mother to pick up some fudge and ice cream. I was super impressed with the COVID procedures, as well as their graceful handling of an anti-masker. Didn’t catch the names of the two women working, but they completely made my night. I had the Superman with mint chocolate chip ice cream on a cake cone. Also, I got the new heavenly milk chocolate marshmallow cube with walnuts. It is like a rocky road type of sweet. The employees were upbeat and they even gave away the ice cream tubs with covers for free! Will definitely be returning!

Came through to Asheville from FL for a weekend with friends. One of the best ice cream spots I’ve been to in my life. On of that the service was awesome and people were friendly. They even let you try as many samples as you want. We had to go back before we flew out. If I ever come back to NC I’ll definitely be making a third visit.

Kilwins you can smell a block away. They make their own ice cream cones, ice cream and fudge. That is a win, win, win. I recommend any of their ice cream flavors, cookie dough is my favorite. The have great fudge...pumpkin is spot on. And they will let you try samples to your hearts content.

I always get apples from this place during the apple festival. This years customer service though meant I got overcharged and didn't receive one of the apples I was charged for. The receipt was thrown out before I could even look at it and they rushed away.
