Kay is a wonderful professional who replaced a broken AC unit in our home in the middle of a heatwave. He is extremely knowledgeable, reliable and respectful. He kept us in the loop during the entire process and when we needed help after the service, he returned immediately to make sure everything was good. I was having problems with my AC unit. My refrigerant line was freezing up. I texted Kay, from Affordable Heating Cooling & Appliances, on Monday morning and he called me Monday afternoon. He got to my house on Tuesday around 8:30pm. We were having a heat wave so I was grateful he got to us the next day. He fixed my unit (even though I thought I was going to have to replace it). I appreciate him fixing it instead of trying to sell me a new unit. Really recommend you reach out to him. He also gave me an estimate on a new unit which was substantially less than a quote I received last year. Kay and his assistant was professional and patient explaining everything to us.

We called Mr. Kay based off other very positive reviews on Next Door. He did not disappoint. He arrived on a Saturday, same day we called, and he knew exactly what the issue was immediately. He fixed the drains and checked the units for other potential problems and we were up and running an hour later. He observed Covid protocols and came with a mask on as did his assistant. He was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable. I would definitely call him again to service our units.

Super responsive, reasonable rates. I heard about Kay from other customers who raved about him and now I rave too. When I needed two systems replaced this spring I called him and I didn’t even bother to call others because I knew he would be fair and do the job right. Our AC unit wasn't turning on at the beginning of the season, and with a new baby in the house it was important for us to get it fixed ASAP. The guys at Affordable responded really quickly, rapidly diagnosed a cascading series of problems with the system, and got them all fixed within a couple of hours. Our house is nearly 100 years old, and the existing central air and ductwork were extremely inefficient. We had about 5 local companies come out and offer various solutions. We ultimately worked with Kay. Kay rebuilt all our attic ductwork, dropped new ducts into the first floor, and set up multiple zones. He was very knowledgeable, responsive and a pleasure to work with on a challenging project.

Had loss of heat on a rainy Memorial Weekend and called Affordable Heating. True to his word, K showed up and diagnosed and explained the issue to me in layman terms. He went on to fix the issue and made recommendations for the medium and long term. Am impressed with professionalism of Affordable Heating and will surely use them again.
