My heating system was on the fritz so I called Moon Air. The technician was excellent! He diagnosed and fixed the issue. Unfortunately my system was nearing the end of functionality so I decided to speak with Moon Air’s project manager. He came out and reviewed multiple options for replacement, financing, and timelines. I felt comfortable and confident with Moon Air so decided to use them to replace the furnace and was not disappointed! The installers also did an excellent job with installation and cleanup!

We just bought a house in October and unfortunately our heating went up in February on one of the coldest nights we had. I called Moon Air and they came our right away to inspect and clean my system. We knew we needed a whole new system and Steve gave us quotes and helped us pick the best options. We got a whole new heating and air system, they were professional, punctual, and had very competitive prices. I can’t recommend Steve at Moon Air enough! Great company and even better people!

I requested service on my garage office mini split heater at 10 AM this morning and at 12 o’clock today the heat was back on!! . My technician Clay responded promptly, diagnosed the issue (operator error!!), and boom, I had heat again in my garage office! Clay has a wonderful disposition,. HE takes time to explain things thoroughly and makeS sure he’s answered any questions you have. I rate Moon Air number one in customer service.

Moon's electrical technician Kyle was outstanding to work with. He's been extremely professional, friendly, and courteous, and has performed numerous individual jobs spread over two visits, in a timely, efficient, and detail-oriented manner. He's definitely one of those "over and above" type of techs. Kyle replaced/repaired a handful of bad switches and outlets, installed a new ceiling lighting fixture, and ran two new circuits for outdoor use (also removed an existing out-of-code outdoor circuit.) He made excellent suggestions and helped us choose among differing courses of action and designs achieve the best outcomes for the repairs and projects. The final costs were all in line with Kyle's written estimates. I'm already looking for additional electrical projects around the house for Kyle to do, so my wife and I will definitely use him and Moon again.

On Sunday evening I awoke to my furnace cycling every 10-15 seconds. I turned off my furnace and reached out to Moon Air. The problem was fixed by Tuesday morning. The unit was under warranty so there was no out of pocket expense to me. I still would have liked an invoice stating what the problem what work was performed.

After hours we realized our heating unit wasn't working. Around 8:30 pm we placed a call for repair to their answering service and within 20 minutes got a call back from the technician. Within a half hour after that he was at our house. He immediately diagnosed the issue and within an hour he had the problem corrected and our heat back working. Very prompt in timing and very professional in his interactions with us.

Moon air was able to get someone out to my house a day earlier than expected for my yearly furnace cleaning and maintenance. Koz was very thorough and made sure I was able to see first hand every area of concern he had. Unfortunately, my system had some major failures and needed to be shut down, but Koz explained everything in a way that made sense and offered several options for what needed to be done next. He even made sure I would be able to be provided with space heaters before he left.

Paul was on site throughout the work and always took the time to answer any questions I had and explain matters thoroughly. He was MOST knowledgeable and knows the true meaning of customer service. A nod also goes out to Justin, who represented the company well. I commend Tammy, who kept me informed regarding scheduling and other administrative matters. She is very pleasant and efficient. The techs took great care in protecting our home during the work, including floor protection, shoe coverings, prompt clean up of debris, etc. Of great importance during these trying times, masks were worn and social distancing recognized. Finally, I thank Steve Moon, whom I have not had the pleasure to meet, for managing a company that cares for its customers and employees. There were many comments made by the techs during the work that indicate their pride in the company. Thanks from Joanne & I and we will not hesitate to recommend Moon Air February 5, 2021 Clay repaired the defective water line to the humidifier and repaired some loose insulation tape. He was most efficient and timely in completing the job. Care was taken to protect us and our home by wearing shoe coverings and masks. My wife and I set out to get quotes from 3 HVAC companies in and around Elkton/Newark areas to install mini splits all over our un airconditioned home. Moon Air sent a gentlemen by the name of Steven Podesta to our house to start the process. Steven arrived promptly, was a very friendly person and listened to our concerns. Once the quote arrived, Moon and another company were close in price. I submitted the other estimate to Steve Podesta who promptly addressed it with his management. He beat the competition and beat it by about $1000. Furthermore Moons 12 year parts and 12 year labor stood out to my wife and I. Also, the fact that Moon uses parts made in America was huge to us as a family. I cannot say enough about Steve. Once we decided to use Moon, I was concerned of a possible backlog, Steve assured me they could start as soon as we needed them to. We booked the install date for 2 weeks out which was another huge benefit. The booking day arrived and I was met with an early morning phone call from the office stating the technicians were on the way. Tammy stated if I preferred she could call daily to inform me they were on the way. I chose that option as well. Tammy was cheerful and very polite over the phone. I cannot stress how much of a customer service kind of guy that I am. My wife and I always treat people with kindness and we felt this company has set standards for great customer service. Not only did I get a call, but we received emails as well. Communication is a priority with Moon and they do it with a smile. I love that !! As far as the install team goes, everyone that arrived, made eye contact, was polite and I was always addressed with a sir, even though I told them to call me Steve. Paul, Paul, Shawn and Kyle should all be commended for how they conduct themselves in the public eye. I could not have gotten a more prompt, polite and professional crew. These guys were awesomeness defined. On top of their professionalism, they did amazing work. We had 8 mini splits installed with two outdoor compressors, it looks amazing. They provided us with a four day install estimate. They completed the install in three days!! To the owner of Moon Air: Thank you! You have a world class team here. You should give customer service advice to the majority of the business world, you have earned my families business forever. Thank you !!

The gentlemen who came out to check our system were consumate professionals. They even went the extra mile as to replace the light bulbs that had blown out in the attic. Extremely polite and absolutely professional. They took the time to explain things in a way that someone with no understanding of the HVAC system would understand what the issues and problems were. Mike arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed a clogged filter in the basement unit. He put a new filter in that I already had and explained that we need to change the filter regularly. Steve P. came to our house for a quote. He was super professional and informative, answering all of our questions and concerns. The price was very reasonable. We already had another well known company out for a quote, and Moon beat their quote by $2000. Everything worked out wonderfully and they were able to schedule us the next week. Clay cleaned and repaired our compressor unit, and repaired a small leak that appeared after recent replacement of the inside evaporator unit. A/C is now working fine several weeks after repairs. Moon was able to schedule service quickly, and kept us informed of Clay's schedule, even moving up the service when a cancellation occurred. All around excellent service.

Both of my HVAC systems were 15 yo Trane systems and due to leaking coil, corroded A coil and degraded burner parts had to be replaced. Researched local contractors and from my research Moon Air had many great reviews. Gave Moon a call, project manager came up, sized up the units and provided quote. I consulted with a friend of mine who’s an experienced HVAC technician that has installed many of the same size systems and felt the quote was reasonable. Date was set for installation. Two day job. Day 1 down stairs unit easy install. Inside unit, nice install, outside unit was less than perfect. Day 2 attic install. Unit difficult to get to, outside unit required hide a duct up to 2nd floor. Technician were under a time crunch as they had outside commitments after work. Not the attention to detail as day 1. Both attic and outside unit work was satisfactory. The attic heater was not replaced just needed servicing so made appointment for that and at the same time I pointed out areas that needed attention to Clay (great guy/ tech) and they were taken care of. It’s been approx. 2 months and needed service as a condensate line came lose and water was draining into pan. Called Moon and a technician came right out. Overall I have had a good experience with Moon and would recommend them to others.

I just had a new HVAC system installed in my home and I can't say enough how wonderful the experience was. From start to finish the team was professional, polite and patient. Steve, the project manager, came and gave the initial consultation. As a person who knew very little about HVAC systems, he answered all of my questions and there was none of the typical sales jargon or pressure to commit. He gave me the information I needed and was even able to provide an estimate on the spot. I went on and got multiple estimates from different companies and Moon Air was by far the best value with the best warranty. Justin and his team came to install the system within the week and again, I cannot say enough how impressed I was. They were polite and friendly and the work got done in a timely manner. I was even able to continue working at my work from home job without any disturbances. And I have to mention the fact that they even made friends with my german shepherd who barely tolerates most people speaks volumes. :-)

We had a great experience with Moon Air. They came out to service our very old HVAC system and were very thorough in explaining what wasn't working and our options. The person who came out to give us a quote on a new system was fantastic, and the technicians who installed it were great too. When we schedule the new HVAC install and then our A/C stopped working entirely a day or so later, I called back on the off chance they could fit us in sooner. That combined with their competitive price and great Daikin 12 Warranty for parts and labor made this investment seem as safe as possible. They even provided an Educational Discount since I'm a teacher. Justin and Omar installed the unit and were extremely considerate and helpful throughout the entire process as well as providing guidance on how to optimize the connection of the system with our houses little quirks. Justin walked me through each part of the system and controls and Omar explained the exterior units connection and safety features and together answered any questions I had. We had a bathroom exhaust fan that didn't work for a long time. I'd bought a new fan/light and installed it myself but the fan still wouldn't work. I had to call in a professional and he found that there was loose wiring and the switches needed replaced since the people who installed them put the wires in the back instead of around the screws. I replaced my complete heat pump system a couple of years ago by another company who will remain nameless at this time. The totally new installed system never did run properly to heat or cool the house. I had a number of service calls from them, but there was no answer to the problems. A friend of mine suggested Moon-Air and I called them and asked if they had a service man who really knew a York system. They sent two men, Clay and Zach who arrived on time wearing the orange booties. We talked and I expressed the faults of the system as I knew them to be. They both disappeared into the basement. Sometime later I was called to the basement by Clay and he showed me a small leak in the A coil and the opening in the A coil box that was not cut open properly, it was 20% undersized. No wonder the system could not supply the proper air volume to the house. The propane burners also showed signs of wear. They were replaced along with the A coil and gas was added to the system plus the A coil box opening was corrected. Clay also did some work on the outside compressor, I'm not sure what but the compressor does not bang when it starts anymore. All in all the system runs now like it never did and it's a pleasure to live with. My home is now as comfortable as it should be. If the system ever needs service again the only call I'll make will be to Moon-Air. I will recommend them freely to anyone who wants a proper service done on their system. I can now sit here summer and winter and enjoy the little space man on there TV commercials and have happy thoughts. Thank you Moon Man . . .

LOVE this company! My fiancé and I purchased a home with very old, well used furnace and air conditioning units. Our first encounter with Moon Air was a very cold winter day, when our heater decided it was just too cold outside for it to function properly. This day happened to be a holiday & Moon Air the ONLY company we contacted that had a technician they could send out to our house that day! After our second or third encounter with Moon Air, we determined it was in our best financial interest to become Club Members and it's been worth each affordable monthly payment! Each time our furnace or AC decided the weather outside was too much for it to compete with Clay (we've been lucky enough to get the same tech. every time) showed up to house ready to fix whatever our systems issue was that day- which is not an easy task with our 4 year old daughter constantly questioning him. He came out to our home on Monday to discuss furnace options, the installation team was here on Tuesday! We were so satisfied that we scheduled another meeting with Steven P. for Wednesday to discuss AC options, which we canceled not even 15 minutes before he was supposed to arrive due to a car accident. Bill and Bruce were courteous, quick, and answered all of my questions. It was a large project and necessitate having power off for most of two days. Bill stayed in touch with Delmarva well past business hours to get them to turn the power back on. I really appreciated that he and Bruce wore footies in my house so they would not track dirt around--a small detail but it was much appreciated! They have since put some GFCI outlets in for me, and I have a few more projects I'd like to get done. Next will be getting a quote from the HVAC side of the business for central heat/air!
