I was totally satisfied with their service. The men were professional, polite, friendly. They were there to get my new air conditioner installed. There were a 2 week time frame at first. they brought 2 window units to use until they could install new unit. I was impressed how well they take care of their clients. This company is just what an HVAC company should be; on time, through, great workmanship, patient and gets the job done the first time. This visit was for my regular maintenance yet my wireless thermostat was acting up. This technician took an hour to figure out my problem and made sure it was working properly before leaving. He was patient, called three techs to help understand an IT type issue with the app and system. I could not be more pleased. It’s refreshing since so many companies just want to get done and onto the next customer. Best decision was choosing them to replace my unit last year!!

I had the best experience ever. I was told by another company the issue with my furnace was I needed several parts totaling over 3 thousand . Jason from Air Serv took his time to locate the problem. As it turned out there was a bird lodged inside causing issue. No need for new parts or new system at this time. Jason was very knowledgeable and professional and saved me a lot of money. I was happy with the service when my system was installed early 2019. Then this week the A/C stopped working. Joe Zavak came out and assessed the issue. The team at Aire Serv Newark then presented a repair option that was quick and fit the budget. Our heat stopped on Christmas Eve and our house was 38 degrees. Another company cancelled service at the last minute due to high volume, so I called Aire Serv. They came within an hour of calling and I didn’t get put on hold, on the coldest Christmas Eve I can remember. The technician needed a tool he didn’t have, so the owner came personally to help him. They were both so kind and helpful, and we had heat back in less than an hour. I was so worried that Christmas would be ruined, but they literally saved our Christmas. I initially wanted the air duct service but after the crew got here and reviewed my situation and after discussing it with me ,we came to the conclusion that,I didn't need the service that I assumed I needed and also realizing the fact that I never changed my filter was a big factor. 🙂However, the young men talked to me about other avenues that were available to me that will save me time and money if anything needed to be check or repaired in the future. I was sold a maintenance plan that will better suit my issues and keep me from having to worry about my heating and cooling ever again because Aire Serv will come to my rescue. The young men were knowledgeable and very professional and polite. They helped one another when one had questions and worked well as a cohesive team and the fact they both were Aquairus like myself ,we were all in a good space and good vibes that produced a good outcome and I couldn't be much happier then I am today. This is a review to thank Aire Serv of Elkton for coming out and fixing my heating issue. Yesterday morning at approximately 0200, my thermostat stopped receiving main power, so my house was not receiving any heat. I proceeded to call Sobieski , who I have a warranty through after buying the house with Ryan Homes. I asked for help as soon as possible and they said they would give me a call tomorrow morning (this morning) to schedule a tech visit. This morning I received the call a little after 0700 and was told that they would not be able to send anyone out until tomorrow morning Dec 24th, even said their emergency services were booked till tomorrow morning, after I told them that I had been out of heat for more than +24 hrs and tonight we are getting a flash freeze dropping temperatures down to 10 degrees, all they could do is say Sorry, couldn't help till the following day. So after asking for community help, I reached out to one of the recommendations, Aire Serv. They said they would be able to get someone out within the next hour, or two. Twenty minutes later they were at my door and hopped right on it, they were able to find and fix the issue within an hour and charged me only 89 dollars. The man was friendly, respectful, and very explanatory of everything. I am satisfied and pleased that I will be doing my business with them from now on.

We needed the 30 year old HVAC unit in our new condo replaced and called AirServ, after some quick consultation we where set up with Joey and Justin as our installers. Despite some of the awkward architecture of our condo, they got the whole job done in a day and left everything looking immaculate. Our new system works great, and the 10 year warranty from AirServ that came with it puts my mind at ease.

To my surprise and great relief she was able to schedule an appointment today, Christmas Day!!! James Vendetti was our tech. Having to replace a furnace was something I wanted to avoid, however my unit was 20+ years old and in terrible condition. Aire Serv made a bad situation better by their professionalism and patience, taking time to explain everything to me as well as supplying pictures of the external and internal parts of my dilapidated system. One of their mechanics even spotted a tiny leak in my roof. Had the leak gone unnoticed it could have become much more expensive to correct. Aire Serv was flexible so I was able to get the system installed exactly when needed. I have never seen such customer oriented mechanics, and their designer was knowledgeable and helpful as well. The mechanics were neat, organized and a pleasure to work with. I will certainly use Aire Serv's services in the future, if the need arises.

2017 I payed almost 30k for a new HVAC system and still not getting air conditioning to two of my four bedrooms, and paying an average of $500 a month on my gas /electric bill. I was understandably frustrated! in 2021 I contacted AireServe and they balanced my system which lowered my bills 50%! Then they redid the ductwork in a more direct fashion, and now it’s cool everywhere in my house! After the owners son Will Boyce explained and reassured me that they have a guarantee satisfaction and worked with me on the calculations and the design, I was convinced to go ahead with the rework of the ductwork. Will showed up in the AM, on time, with his younger brother Mike and experienced coworker Paul! They spent the entire day in my attic, rerouting the system just as Will and I discussed. Change of season has always been an issue with this "new" system, now 5 years old. Every summer/winter it stops working. This season is no different... last winter, snow on the outside unit caused it to seize up... another call to AirServe. I am not on a contract with them to service my system every 6 months. Today, October 2022, once again my system was not starting. I phoned AirServe and they came out to troubleshoot. Apparently theres a leak in my system which is what's been causing issues since 2017... Nick came out and put leak sealer in my system and was nothing but kind and respectful. I followed him around to watch what he did and he explained everything as he went along. Very good customer service here! Hopefully this will fix the issue at every change of season? Everyone in this company is polite, kind, honest and respectful! What a company!!!!! I highly recommend them to all my friends and neighbors! They cleaned up completely after themselves every visit. I would trust them in my home with no reservations! This is one awesome trustworthy company! I compare them to Chick Filet but in HVAC repairs/ service! A part needed to be ordered and it became available within 24 hours. Tyleek returned to install the new part, left the old part with us and even stayed a while to ensure we were getting heat again and that our thermostat reading was going up which it did. I was very happy with the quick, professional service that we received. On Friday, we called for service and had a technician out within hours. He gave as an estimate and said we would probably need a replacement Air Conditioning unit. He said someone could be out Sunday to look at our system and give us an evaluation and see what our needs were. The rep came out Sunday, gave us an estimate that matched what the tech from Friday said (a wonderful bit of consistency) and then had the team out today, Monday (a holiday) to replace it. They were prompt, professional, and finished the job in under 4 hours without any major inconvenience to us. They explained all of the work they had done, showed us how to maintain it, and cleaned up perfectly after themselves. Despite being a holiday, there was no additional charge for the work. I'd like to also highlight the employees we worked with. Matt was the initial tech to come out and look and was very honest and clear in our assessment of our needs to help us start the process. Bryan was the representative to come evaluate our system and was extremely helpful in helping us understand what system would be best for us. I also appreciated that even though he was making a sale, he stuck within the range that had previously been discussed and I never felt he was being pushy and trying to upsell us. The install team of Aaron, Tyreek, and Juan were prompt, unobtrusive, expedient and very polite. (I apologize if I misspelled anyone's name) They worked with my requests to use only a specific door, despite the additional hassle it may have caused them with absolutely no complaints. They were perfectly on time, introduced themselves very politely and professionally, and gave us an excellent overview of our system once they had installed it. I have literally no complaints about any part of this process.

I was at work, but the technician called me prior to his arrival to let me know he was in route. Once he arrived with another associate, my wife met them at the door. They did a good job on the duct cleaning and the tune up on the HVAC unit. They recommended purchasing a new unit soon because this unit is on its' final days! I agree, it really makes some unusual sounds , especially in the winter months. $7K to $8K is a rough estimate to get a new HVAC unit. I am hoping to have this done before the end of the year. The tech Josh was extremely nice. He wanted to take pictures and open up an account which I did not want done. I just wanted the ac to be looked at and dx the problem, which he did in 5minutes. It was the capasitor for a Puron carrier AC unit. He informed me the set price was $515. I asked for the breakdown of the price labor verses price of the capasitor. He was unable to do this, I researched the price it was $25 for the piece so I am assuming the labor cost and the service call was $490. This is really outragious for a maybe 30 minute visit and repair.

We came home and found that our AC unit was on but not blowing cold air on a hot Sunday night. I put in a request appointment form on AirServ’s website at around 11:00 on a Sunday night before the 4th of July explaining our situation. I had an email back from an actual representative from their office within 30 minutes who set up an appointment for us and also let me know they do not charge emergency fees for a holiday. Someone came by at 11:30 this morning. Our tech, Rich, was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions about our hvac system. He had it up and running within a few minutes of diagnosing the problem. He offered us recommendations for how to increase air flow in the house, when to get our tuneups etc. We ended up adding on a twice a year service contract because we were so impressed. Been with the same company for years, including the installation of an entire new heat/air system 8 years ago. Still every year the unit would freeze. Requested an appointment online with Aire Serv and within minutes, a cheerful person called who seemed genuinely concerned about my issues and listened to the problem. An appointment was scheduled within a very short time; got advance emails, texts, and a photo and bio of the tech. He arrived on time (gave 30 minutes advance notice) and proceeded to identify all of the problems the previous provider could not fix - all without making me feel worse than I already did. He also told me about a state rebate program for improvements. The fee was well worth the education that I got and the hope of a reliable, working system. HIGHLY recommend.

What I saw today left a bad taste in my mouth. Our house stands over 20 feet tall and Aire Serv sends over ONE person to climb a ladder stretching almost to the roof! Call me crazy, but usually there's 2 people for that type of job, one to work and one to keep watch so that the one up top DOESN'T SLIP AND FALL! The employee didn't complain or anything, he was extremely nice and NEVER asked for assistance of any kind. We watched from afar as he struggled with the ladder, my husband then decided to stand guard as he worked. This maybe against your policy, but my husband felt compelled to because he didn't want him getting injured on our property. That said, YOUR COMPANY should reassess how you do things, starting with ladders. I've NEVER seen companies send contractors over to our house to work on ladders without 2 people. Furthermore, you might read this and think, "no one asked you to". If that's how you feel then shame on you.

Stop searching. We needed a new heatpump due to our old one wearing out. I first spoke to Aire Serv around 2045 on a Monday night minutes after sending an email to them. I got to speak with Jessica. After speaking to Jessica who was very nice and responding quickly my wife and I decided to get a salesman to come out and give a quote for a replacement unit. Jim Myers came out later that week at a date and time I requested. He answered every question I had with so much detail I think I could become a hvac tech. He explained why our old unit could have failed and why our current unit wasn't the right fit for our house. I know, salesman.... But after he showed us a program and that our house was physically to big for the unit we previously had I knew he was more then a salesman. After about an hour and after looking throughly at our current system he sat with our family at the kitchen table and proposed a quote and again answered every question we had. Again thank Jim. Now the install. Joe Gonzalez came out on time and ready to work. Joe and his helper laid out mats and made sure not to get any dirt anywhere. Note this was the morning after a snow storm. Joe and his helper had the job done in about 7 hours. Joe then proceeded to ask if we had any questions and just like Jim he answered every question professionally and spoke to me like a friend. He showed us how to program the thermostat and downloaded the app for my wife. After cleaning up the inside and the outside of the house they were on there way. From my family to the Aire Serv family. Thank you. We will now have a reliable Trane unit and a comfortable warm house for this winter and I'm sure a cool one in the summer. Thanks again. We were using a different company for our HVAC service contract. But we weren’t happy with them and we switched to Aire Serve. The technician that came to do our maintenance was very thorough and explained why we were having problems with our heat. I am so happy that we found them and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody! 2nd review: Still with Aire Serv and still happy. I feel like everybody I have dealt with in this company goes above and beyond. From the women who work in the office to the technicians that come service the HVAC all are exceptional. We had a problem with the furnace they installed and they came out in a timely manner, admitted there was something wrong with the unit, and fixed it at no charge. It works perfectly fine now! Another example of them going above and beyond is I had a technician come out to adjust the temperature at which the auxiliary heat is triggered. I mentioned that the reason I wanted to make the change is that our propane use had dramatically increased. He explained that the auxiliary heat should not have drained the propane as much as it had and went around and tested for gas leaks. It turns out we had several leaks in our propane system! I was able to call the gas company and get that rectified. So if you’re reading these reviews to decide if you want to use Aire Serv feel comfortable signing up with them!

I am a new customer and when I called I expected to be given secondary service since I do not carry a maintenance plan. Usually oil heat repair companies will not give same day service to a new customer, and definitely not late day service. So I was pleasantly surprised to find out they would come for a no heat call after 5 the same day. The company sent me a text with a picture of the tech which I appreciated and he arrived on time. He wasted no time diagnosing my problem and did not insult me with the usual "you ran out of oil" explanation. He listened to what I knew and then tried to fix. Eventually he found the problem and since it was late, he sent someone out the following day to finish my repair. Last time I called another company, they refused to repair until I added fuel even though I told them I had auto delivery. I am very grateful that Aire Serv came out promptly, and repaired as quickly as possible and did not tack on extra charges for the second tech to come out and finish. In the end, I did opt for a maintenance plan, but it was nice to be treated as a plan customer right out of the gate. And as a woman I appreciated not be treated like I didn't know anything about a heating system, because as it turns out, I used to work for a heating air conditioning company! Great job Aire Serv!!

Had a new HVAC system installed. Sarah in the office had to work very hard to get the unit(s) I wanted due to COVID0-19 related disruptions to the production/supply chain. She was tireless in getting me what I wanted. The install had a few glitches that were related to some very poor fabrication done by the builder's contractor when the home was built 16 years ago. There were issues with the filter housing and noise when the fan ran. I informed Sarah of the problems and the next day she sent the Install Manager, two trucks and two other technicians to correct the problems. Not only was the builder’s flimsy and noisy filter housing replaced with a brand new much improved model, but all unwanted noises were totally eliminated. The team completely removed and re-engineered the poorly designed return air plenum and filter housing, reinforced and supported the plenum and furnace venting, did some rewiring and generally left me with a system many times better designed and implemented than the builder’s. The Install Manger Juan, who led the team, was very patient with me and answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. He showed me pictures of the disassembled components and steps of re-fabricating the plenum and explained everything he and his team did to resolve all of the issues. Juan checked all of the wiring and explained to me what each operating mode was expected to do. He tested the functioning of the fan, the furnace in both heating modes, the A/C unit and the condensate pump. Juan even found a manufacturer’s poorly implemented sealing component on the furnace door and corrected it. He refused to leave the job until I was 100% satisfied with the work he and his team did, and that I had no outstanding questions or issues. As I mentioned, there were a couple of initial issues with the install but as soon as I informed Sarah of my concerns she sent a team out to completely resolve everything within 24 hours of the initial installation.

They quoted a slightly lower rate than one of their competitors, but the difference was in the details. They can use a camera scope to see what is in your ducts. They also text you when the technician is on his way and send you his photo so you know who you are expecting. It is a class outfit all the way. Highly recommended!

This is the second time on 3 years I have utilized the services of Aire Serv of Newark (Delaware). They are the only company I will call for service based on their excellent work and fair pricing. This time when my AC unit stopped working it only took one call to set an appointment on a date convenient for me (and on a holiday weekend). Juan Diaz arrived exactly at 8 AM as promised and within twenty minutes fixed my unit and advised me of steps I could try before calling them should I have the problem again. Juan was professional, neat, friendly and respectful of my property. Even though it was a Saturday on a holiday weekend, Aire Serv charged me the regular rate for the call. I couldn't be happier with the service. 10-28-19 Once again called on Air Serv to fix a problem with our heating system. Juan Diaz made three trips (out of necessity) and even brought the boss (Ben) to assist. In the end our problem was fixed in time for the heating season. The cost was very reasonable and as always, Juan was very respectful of our property. Communication was great and even though it took a few days to get parts, the work was completed quickly. Thanks Juan and Ben! 10-27-2020 Another stellar experience with Air Serv. Had a problem with my heat pump (condenser fan not turning on). Air Serve had their technician Jesse arrive within two hours of my call even though I told them it was not an emergency. Problem fixed within 45 minutes and once again a very reasonable price. Based on my last review, it looks like this is an annual visit.

My personal experience had a lot of hiccups when replacing my HVAC (not to their fault), but they were very flexible and provided extra accommodations to hold me over for free, like a window AC unit, until they could finish the job. Sarah and Jason are also amazing people to work with. Sarah is an ANGEL who dealt with my frustrating insurance company and did her best to get me the most $$ for my buyout. I also want to acknowledge Kevin and Bill for their OUTSTANDING service. They installed the coolant line between my condenser and air handler. They were extremely professional, friendly, and funny! They worked really hard to provide unique solutions so my coolant line wasn’t exposed in my unit, even though it made their job so much harder and longer for them. I couldn’t be more grateful how they went the extra 10 miles for their client. They are an amazing duo to have around for the day, and they were also very tidy. :) Juan and Juan Jr. installed my condenser and air handler and I was really impressed with how quickly they worked and how they handled said hiccups with assurance and grace. I came home from work around lunch time and discovered the house warm. The air conditioning unit outside was running but no air was coming out of the vent. I called Aire Serv and with in 1 1/2 hours they sent a technician out to me. Juan Diaz arrived. He got immediately to work and found the issue. The “A”coil was froze up. He did some more checking inside and outside the house. Outside he discovered that who ever replaced the outside condenser motor fan had put it in reverse. It was spinning the wrong way. He fixed that and found the capacitor was also shot. With out even hooking it up to a volt meter he could tell it was bad. Once he hooked it up, he was indeed correct. After servicing the system with Freon and bringing all the numbers where they should be. The air conditioner was pumping out nice cold air. Juan was courteous and knew was he was talking about. I would absolutely call the company back and especially ask for Juan.

Kevin F. Was the tech sent by Air Serve to help trouble shoot the reason why my electric bill was so high. He found that my heat pump had a refrigerant leak thus causing the emergency heat to kick in. Recommended either fixing the issue temporary or installing a new system due to my current system being outdated with the old Freon. Gave me a quote for a new unit to think about. Made sure I had emergency heat working. He also kept me at a reasonable price for diagnosing the issue. He changed out my old mercury thermostats for a new electronic programmable one. I had a problem with my furnace on a cold winter night. Called at 1130pm and immediately spoke to a representative who scheduled service between 7-9a the next morning. He worked with integrity and kept me informed of what he was doing the whole time he was here. I am a long-time customer of Aire Serv Newark & Elkton. Across the board they have the best HVAC techs and friendly & efficient customer service staff you could ask for. Today's service, annual routine maintenance, was another shining example of their attention to detail and willingness to put in the time to get the job done properly. After checking and thoroughly cleaning our HVAC system, my tech Justin, was able to diagnosis an issue with the HVAC's thermostat not properly communicating with our heat pump. Bottom line Aire Serv will be replacing our smart thermostat with a new unit while our HVAC system is still under warranty. Hurray!

We have converted from Oil to Gas and Aire Serv was our contractor of choice. The job was substantial as we replaced the furnace and the AC unit, removed the oil system, added new gas lines, and upgraded other features. We have quoted with multiple vendors and by far Matt and Aire Serv were the most responsive. One may think this responsiveness would end once the company received the order, but it did not. On a job this big, not everything will always go smoothly. However, the response to any of the hickups was immediate. We got an A/C through Aireserv in Newark in August 2016. We worked with Nick Slater. He was personable, attentive, forthright and saw the install through. The price was great, esp. compared to some of the major competitors. I think they sell Lennox. They also sell Daiken-Goodman, an American made product. 10 year parts and service warranty is very nice. Though we haven't completed a season yet we have liked the Goodman and had no issues. The installers, Brett & Quinn, were really great, too. They were skilled, thorough, detailed and resourceful. This past fall Matt came out for a tech check on our heater and he was prompt, thorough and courteous. And its a family owned business. I highly recommend.
