This company is amazing! From the first time i reached out about replacing my old hvac system every person has been so kind. They answered any questions i had even with this past week being a holiday. Even when i was unsure they never pressured me just simply gave me more information. When i had no heat due to my old hvac failing they even offered to bring me space heaters until install was possible, which really shows the character of a company! Dylon and Marc showed up for install on time and we’re so kind to answer every little question i had. They explained what was installed and how to use my new thermostat. They showed me all their progress and cleaned everything as promised. They even cleaned more then they had to. They really made me feel at ease with our new system. We shopped around and honestly for the quality products we were getting and the quality of services the company provides the price of everything was was more reasonable then we would have thought.as of now I’m very happy we went with air temp solutions then with the other companies we looked at.

I'm a licensed Home Inspector who has been informing clients that the EPA recommends the the HVAC ducts be cleaned every 3 to 5 years at a minimum especially if you have asthma or allergies. Now with my basement construction being finished then I couldn't wait to get my ducts cleaned as well. Air Temp Solutions is one of the best companies out there and I will continue to recommend their HVAC and plumbing services to everyone I know and meet. Worth every penny. Every realtor, home inspector and home buyer/ owner should have Air Temp's contact info if you want quality work, reasonable cost and a professional work ethic in your contractor. I trust this company with my largest asset and you should too.

I was searching for a company to replace my +30 year HVAC system. My experience with Air Temp Solutions has been a pleasant one. I was initially impressed with the friendly secretary who took my initial call. She thoroughly answered all questions about the company and quickly arranged an appointment for an estimate the same day. The estimator was just as friendly and knowledgeable. He provided several options and was not at all pushy. We found a product and payment option that outmatched three other reputable companies. Dylan, the installation technician, was great. He was on time and quickly briefed me on what needed to be done. Afterwards he explained the newly installed equipment and answered all questions. The installation took one day and looks fantastic! All old parts were removed and the area was cleaned when the job was completed. It has only been a few days, but presently I am very happy with my experience with Air Temp Solutions. The professionalism of all the employees that I encountered was exceptional.

We are very happy with this service. From the start with our old ac unit breaking down and them coming out to get it back up and running until our new unit could be replaced. We are very happy with the whole process of picking out a new ac unit and also a new gas hot water heater also being installed. They were able to get both replaced and running in a couple hours and we have had no more problems since they were installed.

I previously had a HVAC guy but he began to ghost me after getting too busy with other jobs. I actually found Air Temp on google- they were Google verified and that stood out, along with other positive reviews…. LET ME TELL YOU- I am getting the best of both worlds with this company!!!! This is a family owned business but does not feel like one. They have the thoroughness of a larger company (ie automated systems, thorough paperwork trails, automated emails and reporting), but with the care of a small company, where each job feeling like the level of care they would put into their own homes! It’s incredible. It feels a lot like finding that car mechanic that you trust who will give you the honest truth with transparency but never pressures you in making any decisions. Just like that - but with HVAC. So glad I found this company!

Hi. I am the maintenance coordinator for a Northeast Md. healthcare company. Our company owns two commercial buildings and nine residential homes and we provide care for our special needs clients. When one of our units breaks down, a quick response time is critical to us. ATS is always there no matter what day or what time the breakdown occurs, their response time is always prompt. They have technicians on call even in the off hours and when you call, you actually get to talk to a real person. We hired ATS four years ago to service all of our HVAC equipment for our properties. They are an outstanding reliable and service oriented company. They have performed everything from minor repairs to total systems replacements for us. Once you call for service, their experienced office staff puts you on the schedule and see's the job through until the job is completed and you are satisfied. Their technicians are knowledgeable, respectful, clean, and their workmanship is always top notch. Their pricing is always competitive. I’ve used Air Temp Solutions for 4 years now. They installed my new heater, AC, and tankless water heater. They put in my natural gas lines, and removed my old oil tank. The quality of work was great, techs friendly and knowledgeable, and pricing wise is competitive. I went with their service maintenance plan as well. after having a bad experience for our first time the team was able to listen to our concern to make it right to us. Had john come out on his off hours to find why we were not getting no heat and ended up finding out we needed a blow motor next day technician mike our great technician came out and installed a new motor and was able to help us clean it out as the previous owner had never cleaned out all the dust. I continued on year two of the annual service plan for my HVAC System with Air Temp Solutions and I love it. No one likes the high cost of dealing with needed HVAC repairs, but the plan offers a decent discount when things do go wrong in addition to routine servicing and last year it was a big help when my A/C coil had to be replaced. This year I just completed heater service and everything looked great, but it’s worth the extra cost of the service plan for the peace of mind of getting my system serviced and checked out, knowing repairs will be discounted to me if I need them. They’ll be back when it gets hot outside to make sure my A/C is in good shape too. In addition, I feel that because I’m a part of the annual service plan, I’ll get prioritized if I ever need their help when something goes wrong with my system. Although I feel it is just an expensive part of the home to deal with, I know the work and people that have come from Air Temp Solutions have been honest, reliable, professional and of the highest quality. I really appreciate the lack of sales pressure from the techs. The technology used to communicate is exceptional and professional. Compared to other services I’ve used, I’ve been far more pleased with the overall process using Air Temp Solutions and they’ve never let me down where their competitors have on more than one occasion. Our last tech, Dave, was absolutely fantastic and we enjoyed talking with him when the service was complete. He offered a quote for whole house duct cleaning that was half the cost of our last cleaning so it was a no brainer to pull the trigger and schedule the service. Every tech that’s been out so far has been courteous and really good. I look forward to remaining a loyal customer for all my HVAC needs.

We had Air Temp come in and replace our aging and inefficient 50-gallon electric water heater. Upgraded to a tankless natural gas system--couldn't be happier. They arrived a few minutes before their scheduled time, and completed the removal, installation, and cleanup within their estimate professionally and quickly. We are extremely happy with the new system, as well as the clean and professional job they did with the installation of everything, including the new intake/exhaust for the natural gas and the re-piping from the gas main. Pricing was extremely competitive, and they stand by their work. We will continue to use Air Temp for any of our HVAC/water heating needs for the foreseeable future.

I had my entire heating and air conditioning replaced which included a new thermostat. The gentleman were here ahead of time. They were very meticulous and neat in everything they did. there was a huge difference in the appearance of the new system from the old system which had a lot of loose wires and loose makeshift parts. I have used the company for AC tune-ups and heater tune-ups in the past. Every single technician has been professional, thorough, informative, and overall they have been great. Today I had a repair done on the humidifier on my furnace. Air Temp Solutions kept me informed the whole time they were waiting for the part to come in and schedule the repair. Will, the amazing HVAC technician, arrived to diagnose and repair a furnace that was no longer working, but what we received was so much more. Over the course of an hour, he disassembled our system, took photo and videos, diagnosed problems, and provided potential solutions. He then quickly got on the phone to order the correct parts since the supply warehouse was closing in a matter of minutes and promised he'd return in the morning to complete the repair once he had the parts. He arrived early the next day and did a remarkable job fixing the furnace in only a matter of hours including replacing a heat exchanger and faulty motor part. He was not only incredibly thorough, but also friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He educated us how our system works and why certain repairs were needed. Probably the most incredible part about the whole experience was the price. I had several other companies quote me for the job and Air Temp Solutions was far and away the best. This was our first experience with Air Temp Solution, but from what we witnessed today we couldn’t be happier with the service they provided and would highly recommend them. I switched to Air Temp from another company two years ago based on neighbors' recommendations, after I got tired of some rudeness, delays, and constantly rising fees from the other company. I've been very happy with Air Temp. The office staff and technicians are always friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. Unfortunately the tech found two cracks in the heat exchanger during this year's winter service -- a problem other neighbors with the same builder's grade equipment have also had. Air Temp sent someone here to measure the system, check the airflow and installation, etc. -- he took about an hour and a half, a very thorough job. I ended up deciding to install a new furnace and was happy with the price after rebates and discounts, also the 18-month zero interest financing. Overall very satisfied with Air Temp and I would recommend highly.

As with every technician I have worked with from Air Temp, all the way to the owner Jon, Charlie was professional, thorough, polite, respectful and a pleasure to speak with. He arrived promptly on time, went o er with me what my observation of the issue was and then got right to work on diagnosing. He gave me regular updates while he was working and when finished gave a thorough explanation of the issues he found and reviewed all options without any pressure or pushing a sale. We just purchased two new furnaces from Air Temp. Their sales person was most knowledgeable and helpful for us to make the best choice. Their installation team was superb. Both furnaces were installed in one day with an Air Temp tech coming in the afternoon to tune each for maximum efficiency. I recommend Air Temp with out reservation. I only wish I could give them 6 Stars. . Air Temps technicians are the best. They are knowledgeable, experienced, and proactive getting things done. Their last visit was after a lightning strike that took out a circuit board on our AC. The AT technician had the part ordered to be delivered over night so he could install it the next afternoon. Air Temp’s Customer Service Representatives are equally good. I wish that Kate who I talked with today worked for every vendor we deal with because life would be a lot easier if she did. .

Kewmar was great! Polite and very thorough. The service was exactly as I had hoped for. Researched various companies for cleaning. This was the only one willing to remove each vent and send the spinning brush in. There are a few styles of cleaning and this was the one I thought best for us. Would reccomend and use them again.

We have had 3 different experiences with Air Temp Solutions for about a year now. The Office Manger Kristie was so very respectful and kind to accommodate our request with our busy schedule and keeping us updated. Our first experience with Air Temp Solutions was last year with installation of two new toilets. The job went smoothly, neatly and quickly. We were so impressed with the gentlemen who did such a great job that we signed up for a yearly check up for the heating system that was quite reasonable. Our second was with their plumbing division. Carlos was very professional also in writing up our proposal for a new hot water heater, installation of new hot water faucet and new outdoor faucets. Carlos was efficient with his time in completing all work that was needed on the scheduled date. Our latest experience was with the check up for our heating and air conditioner system. Travis was also very professional and competent with his work and recommendations. We are very grateful to the office and all three professional gentlemen whose workmanship left us with a peace of mind. My wife and I would both Highly Recommend Air Temp Solutions.

I recently moved into a 1 year old home and needed to hire a company to do scheduled maintenance on my heat pump system. The heating part of the system is in my crawlspace so I needed an option that would only require the filter changed during scheduled maintenance. And in the middle of a heat wave, she worked around my schedule! The technician showed up on time (very beginning of the window given). I took advantage of their yearly service plan, and they offer a flat fee and tell you what it is upfront. . I had a pool heater installed and needed a new gas line run. I got 3 quotes and John the owner was the only person who suggested running everything through the house instead of trenching outside. After I received my quote I needed to changr the location of the pool equipment. The day of my service when the crew showed up they weren't notified of my change but quickly sprang into action and got additional parts from the store and even had some delivered while on site. They did an outstanding job routing a new gas line from the opposite side of my home to where the heater is and was able to fish everything through an existing HVAC conduit , without the need of cutting any drywall. They worked quickly and wore masks and booties the whole time in doors. These guys didn't skip a beat and performed very clean work. They made sure all the gas appliances in the home were working before they left and arranged the new higher flow meter install with the gas company the same day. I'd recommend them 10 out of 10 times. I received texts and updates about my appointment and the staff in the office are wonderful. Thanks! Can't wait until the pool opens next year!

Our Air Conditioner stopped working on a week of 90+ degree weather. The inside of our house was 85 degrees F . Our daughter and her 2 babies were on their way to stay with us, so we need it fixed ASAP, and it was Thursday afternoon. I called 6 AC contractors. I had a major HVAC upgrade performed by AIR TEMP replacing three heating systems, three air conditioners and three thermostats. The new heating systems are 96% efficient and replaced older 80% efficient systems so they required installation of plastic pipes. This is quite an effort. I will walk you through my experience. 1. I placed call to Air Temp three weeks ago. Next day, Wick came over and he already had floorplan for my home. He went over with me the different options I had for HVAC replacement. I chose the lowest cost option which is less energy efficient. 2. The next morning, I had a change of mind and called Wick to ask about pros/cons of going with more expensive but more energy efficient solution. We looked at the rebates offered by Delaware Energize and Wick advised me that this would be a good way to go. I was very happy that Wick was able to work through this with me. 3. A week later, had a visit from Delaware energy and they conducted an audit. This audit is low cost or free and highly recommended if one is installing HVAC upgrades. They test your home for leaks and they also offer some nice freebies like replace your older bulbs with LED lights. 4. A week later, two days of work ensued. And in two days, the Air Temp got everything done. All work very professional. I watched a lot of youtube videos and saw many homeowners showing poor HVAC work but the AIR TEMP work is definitely high quality. They also come prepared and they have all the building materials arranged. 5. The four guys worked on my house were Ralph, Rob, Dylan and Norm. I was so impressed, I got them some lunch on both days. They were very polite and went out of their way to do extra stuff above and beyond. 6. The evening after the work was completed, I noticed one of the AC units was not working. I called the next morning and literally less than an hour later there was a technician at my house. Turned out some switch was simply turned off in the system. Anyone can make a mistake. The real test is how quickly they respond to fix it and AIR TEMP passed this test. So there you go. You get what you pay for. Definitely can get a cheaper deal on HVAC replacement out there but many of these cheaper deals may not be installed properly leading to maintenance issues down the road. I am glad I chose AIR TEMP and would recommend them to others.

This year I have had a new ductless split system installed, a three-zone high efficiency heater/AC system and just recently I brought them in to install an ‘emergency duct’ in a crawl space to add heat during this upcoming arctic vortex to prevent pipes from freezing. All of this was done professionally, on time and on budget. A lot of work, designed and installed with great care. Dave showed up towards the tail end of a very long day but he was energetic, professional, and affable. My wife and I feared the worst case scenario (cost wise) given our problem, but Dave talked us through everything, set out to do a thorough diagnosis and we ended up getting everything fixed quickly and well within a reasonable price. Since my first review I have moved, had a brand new install of an HVAC (also by Airtemp) which they could not test the AC because the install was in November. He quickly identified the issue with my AC unit and walked me through options on best way to fix it. He gave me some advice on the unit and what to look out for in case of future problems. I had both AC Units replaced. The outside condensers, and inside coils. One for the downstairs, and one for the upstairs, of the house. The units being replaced were 12 years old contractor grade Carrier units. These Carrier AC units had been very noisy and problematic. I wanted American Standard AC units. I'm no expert in HVAC. But I've had very good luck with American Standard AC units, and furnaces. Air Temp Solutions is an American Standard distributor, so it was a good match. No, I'm not affiliated with American Standard, or Air Temp Solutions. The two installers were on time, polite and respectful. For the most part, they knew what they were doing. It took 8 hours to complete the removal of the old units, and installation of the new units. This is exactly what they estimated. The upstairs of the house remained very hot at 84 degrees after the installation of the upstairs AC unit, which was complete by noon. When they completed the downstairs replacement around 4:00 pm, the upstairs of the house had increased to 86 degrees. We were clear about our concerns. The installers explained the house needed time to "balance". We gave them the benefit of the doubt. This was on Thursday. Friday and Saturday was very hot upstairs and remained around 86 degrees. We contacted Air Temp Solutions. They scheduled a technician to come out on Saturday (yes Saturday). The tech immediately identified the issue with the upstairs AC unit. Problem was solved by Saturday night. System has been perfect since. We can't be happier with the installation (we had special requests), and the follow up weekend support of the new AC units. Communicating with Air Temp was a pleasure. On the phone, and in person. They seem to genuinely care about the quality of work and support. They are regionally local. And they were far less expensive then competitors. At least from what I discovered. Five stars !!

Our 14 year old heat pump malfunctioned in the middle of our first hot streak of the summer. I called for a service appointment and was surprised to get one the same day. Shawn came out at 7:30 PM and there was no extra charge for the late appointment. He was extremely professional and inspected our system. I was impressed when he said that he would not start swapping out parts until he was completely satisfied that they needed changing. He discussed potential options going forward and did not try to pressure us into an expensive repairs or replacement. When he left the system was properly working and he told us what to do in the future if it happens again. The bottom line was he did what was needed to get us up and running without any up charges or unnecessary repairs. I know at some point in time we will have to replace the unit and when we do Air temp Solutions will be our first call.

Airtemp performed major work at my home for a swimming pool project. They connected the gas pool heater, ran multiple underground gas lines for fire features and outdoor kitchen. In addition, they ran one water line for an outdoor sink. Although the project got off to a slow start due to staffing issues, the owner (John), manager (Shawn) and field supervisor (Will) took a hands-on approach and moved the project along and ensured all work was done swiftly/correctly. They also performed some additional tasks that were not in the scope of work in an effort to assist me. The other key employees that worked on my project were Dylan, Quinn and Rob. Given the length of the project, we all got to know each other to some degree and they were all very professional and represented the company well. I would "highly" recommend Airtemp for their quality of work, but also because they stand by their work and have returned to my home as needed to assist me with operating my backyard features.

We found AirTemp Solutions on Angie’s list after having someone from Hutchinson come out the prior week. We’ve been having issues with our York gas furnace cutting out intermittently during the night. Hutchinson diagnosed the problem but told us it would be too costly to repair and suggested we replace both our furnace and AC unit (which we’ve had no issues with) during their BOGO promo which is almost done at the end of Feb. Jared arrived promptly and did yearly maintenance on my A/C. I bought the A/C and heater maintenance package for about $160. He removed a mouse nest from behind the plate on my A/C unit and snipped the wires that were chewed. He checked it and cleaned it out thoroughly. He is coming back in a few months to do maintenance on the heater and then the A/C unit again in the spring. Not knowing who to call for something like this, I was very happy with the work performed, price of the service, the politeness of Jared, and he put those wraps on his feet and didn't track dirt through my house. Air Temp Solutions will now be our selected service provider for all future HVAC needs, and we will be recommending you to a family member with a nearby house as well. We had a bad Nest thermostat (one of three Nests in the house) causing excessive heating when set to cool. We called another Lewes firm (about a 2 miles from our house) on a Saturday, and they stated it would be weekend rates at time and a half for service, plus they had to dispatch a technician who lived an hour away so we would have to pay travel time. Weekend rate was $208/hr, so with travel time (both ways) that would have been $416 for travel cost alone before the technician did any work. Then they said that since we have geo-thermal heating/cooling, it would be Wed (4 days from our call) before they could get the right person out. We scheduled it, and told them we would also be looking for another firm who could come in sooner. We reached Air Temp that same Saturday, and got a Service Tech scheduled for the next day - Sunday. The rate was very reasonable at just under $60 per hour, with no added travel or weekend uplift. The Technician arrived on time, was very knowledgable, and diagnosed the problem within less than 15 minutes. We are extremely pleased with both the service and pricing, and will now use Air Temp Solutions for ALL future HVAC needs. We also have a family member with a house about a half mile from us, and will be recommending Air Temp to them for all their HVAC needs. In a time when Customer Service and reasonable pricing seems to have disappeared, it is great to find a firm like Air Temp.

To start with the customer service rep from the initial call was super helpful and understanding and got us set up with a appointment the next day and told us Jared would be our tech coming out. Next day on time Jared comes in and diagnoses the issue with our ac unit within 10 mins and fixes it with a part within 30 mins or so total. My installation was completed on November 19, 2019 so this review is a bit overdue, but the good news is that after 6 months my positive assessment of my Air Temps Solutions experience has only been affirmed. I am a big Buderus fan having installed a Buderus system in my New Hampshire home but could not find a local installer (Media, PA) who was enthusiastic about installing a Buderus gas fired furnace system to replace my 25-year-old oil furnace. All the local HVAC contractors tried to direct me to alternative manufacturers. This led to quite a bit of research to understand why the apprehension. After about a year of internet research investigating burners, furnaces and HVAC contractors I contacted Air Temp Solutions (New Castle, DE), determined they were a certified Buderus installer. Shawn was the first contractor I spoke with who shared my enthusiasm for Buderus products. We spoke at great length about the Buderus product(s) and Shawn was a well spring of information (which he willingly shared) about Buderus products, history and business practices…I booked an appointment with Shawn for a consultation/estimate. Shawn assessed my heating needs, explained my Buderus and Bosch options and during the consultation we agreed a Bosch unit (Buderus purchased Bosch) would best fit my desire to have a high efficiency gas burner. I agreed am incredibly pleased with the decision About 8 months elapsed between Shawn’s visit to my home (and the write up of his estimate) and the installation of my new system (which took a week to complete) and Shawn/Air Temp Solutions honored the original quote. The installation was scheduled and the Air Temp team of Shawn, Quinn, Ralph, Dylan, Kyle arrived on-site at the agreed upon time to commence the weeklong installation. Every morning the Air Temps Solutions office provided me with the teams or team members departure time and estimated time of arrival. Shawn and the other team members were always punctual and if they anticipated a delay I was always informed of the revised eta. Air Temps installed a temporary hot water heater to ensure a steady supply while converting to the new Bosch system and had back up electric heaters delivered to my home just in case, we needed supplemental heat during the installation process. Inquisitive about the installation process and eager to tap into the team’s knowledge of Buderus and Bosch products I would occasionally (usually daily) interrupt them with my inquiries…and they always welcomed my questions and provided meaningful, informed and enthusiastic responses. So, after 6 months with the new system I am extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend Air Temps Solutions as tremendously reliable source for heating, air conditioning and plumbing solutions.

I did not have to replace the system - they found one of the last original blowers for me. When I moved into my house in 2009, it had a 20 year old heat pump so I have unfortunately had to deal with multiple HVAC contractors over the last decade. I can confidently say that Air Temp Solutions is the BEST I've ever dealt with. Everyone there is extremely pleasant and does a great job. The tech that came out for us ending up having to do more work than originally anticipated that spilled into a second day. They came back the next day and worked outside in the pouring rain. Even after all of that, he spent an extra hour or so after I had already signed off and paid to trouble shoot an issue because the unit was running louder than it should have been. It had absolutely nothing to do with what they were there for and wasnt in anyway required or expected of them. They just really wanted to make sure we were happy. None of this even takes into account the fact that their estimate was also lower than what others were giving us. Couldnt be happier with this company!

Flushed tankless hot water system, very efficient. The original install did not allow the hose to be hooked up to the cold water, it was blocked, no problem for David, he was able to turn the cold water 20 degrees gain access. Look forward to working with him again.

This company was great. I found them on Home Advisor. Out of the three companies that were supposed to give me an estimate, this is the only one that showed up. The man who came was nice, clean, put booties over his shoes before coming in the house, assessed the problem, told me what was wrong then fixed it in record time. He spent almost three hours checking on everything, diagnosed a problem and took care of it, and gave us an honest assessment of what we were in for in the relatively near future. He encouraged me to stick around during the service and learn what I could, was pleasant and helpful explaining about parts I did not understand, and gave me a rundown of likely repairs coming along with some options so we could plan for the future. At the end of the service, he provided us with massively more data than I have ever seen about our systems. Having all of the data about system performance will allow us to chart and analyze performance over time which I appreciate even if I have to learn what some of the numbers mean in context to HVAC. Beyond the pleasant service, I really appreciate the proactive way he communicated all of the data he could with us. Billing was clear and itemized (a major gripe I have with some competitors). We will happily use again and already signed up for a tune-up next year and will be calling this winter for a service for our heater.

Was quoted over $300 for a dual capacitor or "dual starter" part replacement on my AC. I was shocked when I looked up the part online and found out the part cost under $24 at Home Depot, labor is 15 mins max. Their refrigerant price is also high at $100 per lb. I had other companies quote me $45 per lb. So, ASK AROUND FOR QUOTES because they will definitely upcharge you. On the bright side, the technician was nice.
