Was very satisfied with their service and installation. Caleb got our AC going better for the weekend on Friday. Then came back on Monday with Ivan and Logan to replace the system. They kept me informed on their progress and got AC and furnace changed out by early afternoon. Very well done.

This is our second experience with this company. The first time was a second opinion. We were told by another company that we needed a whole new A/C unit. Kelley and Dawson came out and it only cost us about $200. It was a small, easy fix. A new unit was not needed. Today I called in the morning. They came out this afternoon. I had a clogged drain line. It was fixed in about half an hour. I will definitely be using them for all my heating and cooling issues going forward. Great company!

I've been using Kelley & Dawson for years now for my HVAC maintenance. My air conditioner stopped working over night on a Saturday in August; called them Sunday morning expecting a long wait time but, fortunately for me - they were at my house and problem fixed in a couple hours of my calling to report! We went with Kelley and Dawson for our new heating/air system a few years ago and decided to have the maintenance agreement too. They are great about setting up appointments and the check ups are thorough. Caleb was our most recent service person and he didn’t just hose off the ac units, but took them apart and cleaned them well. Highly recommend!

We have had nothing but good experiences with Kelley & Dawson Service since they installed our HVAC unit a few years ago. During our latest check-up, I was very impressed with our technician, Logan, who was friendly (engaging in a bit of banter upon arrival putting my mind at ease about a 'stranger' in my home), very knowledgable (answered my many 'flux capacitor' type questions) and very thorough, as well (determined our unit was only working at 1/2 capacity and flushed the ventilation clog out of our exterior unit). All this, for the reasonable price of their preventative maintenance plan, where they come check out your unit twice a year and make sure everything is good to go. That's the kind of reassurance I like, from a company that provides service at its best.

The air conditioner was making a grinding sound and we called Kelley and Dawson in the evening. We got a call back immediately from Caleb who offered to come out that evening. We told him the next day would be fine and he promptly showed up the next morning, Caleb was very knowledgeable and because of the age of the unit and the way it tested we decided to replace it. We went with an entire system and it was installed within 3 days. Caleb and Gage installed the system and did an excellent job plus were done in about 6 hours with clean up and everything. Am very pleased with their service. This is actually the 3rd system that Kelley & Dawson has installed for me, not all the same house. I have been using them for approximately 35 years. They are on their 2 generation of management and obviously different technicians but every service has been excellent. When a company can maintain excellent service for 35 years that is the sign of a VERY GOOD company. I would use no one else!

In the middle of the night in August on a Friday I woke up to a hot house. In the morning we called another company we had used before and they said they would probably not be able to make it out but would try......We had company coming over that Saturday night and would have to cancel if we could not find someone to come out. I called Kelley & Dawson. They had a tech call me right away, Caleb Higgins and he said he could come out that Saturday morning and take a look. He arrived within 1 1/2 hours of talking to him, fixed the problem within 30 minutes and had us up and running. Caleb was so nice and polite and did a great job!!! I will recommend Kelley & Dawson to any homeowner that needs a trustworthy, competent company for their h.v.a.c. needs. We had a a/c unit and furnace that was 24 years old and this year the a/c failed. It was not a convenient time for us to be without a/c. Going on a recommendation, we had Kelley & Dawson do the installation. We didn't have time to get multiple estimates, and trusted Rudy and Caleb to do the work. Michelle in the office made arrangements for the installation asap. The guys performed the work and treated the project with attention to detail, efficiency, and concern for our cooling needs. Everything was completed as promised. A job well done and I'm confident this is just how Kelley & Dawson do business. Making their customers feel like they are the #1 priority.

On Saturday July 20, one of the hottest days of the year, our upstairs air conditioner unit quit working. I immediately picked up the phone to Kelly & Dawson hoping they would be able to help. With summer heat on and many homes experiencing ac issues I didn't expect to receive service for at least a couple days. After speaking with the receptionist I received a call back from Caleb within two minutes. Caleb asked several questions regarding our issue to help diagnose the issue. Caleb then indicated he would arrive to our home within 30 minutes. Upon arrival he quickly and efficiently began to review our units and identify the issue. He was prepared with the correct part, reviewed our second unit recommending a quick fix and cleaned both units all within an hour. On top of that he offered a program to review our outside units and furnaces that covered the current work and saved money overall. Kelley & Dawson and Caleb saved our weekend! Thank you for the quick support. We'll see you in the Fall for our furnace tune-up!

Update for 04/2019: I would highly recommend Kelley & Dawson Service for all of your heating and cooling needs. At the Kelley & Dawson office Michelle has gone the extra 5 miles to help me complete insurance paperwork. Michelle has been very professional, helpful, and fun to talk with. I really appreciate all the time that she has spent with me. Chad, Ben, and Caleb are the 3 technicians that have been to my home. All 3 are very professional, friendly, and have a good sense of humor. All 3 have passed the test that our dogs put every stranger through. All 3 have walked in, out, and around of my home without causing any problems or damage. They always took the time to close the door without slamming it which I was impressed with, and they had the respect to do it without being asked to do so. Chad has been to my home to work on things with only my wife present and she told me that she was comfortable around him and that Chad is a great guy. Talking with my friends and coworkers the prices that Kelley & Dawson charge sound like a very good deal and I think I may have helped Kelley & Dawson gain more customers based on their prices. I’m not sure if my old air conditioner was old and inefficient or if the new unit is just that good but I will get cold if I am next to a vent when the new air conditioner turns on. I have started to move away from the vents when they are blowing cold air because it is working so dang well. Kelley & Dawson didn’t try to oversell me any new equipment. We chose the new unit based on real world needs and we are very happy. I plan to be a Kelley & Dawson customer for the rest of my life. Orginal review: All of my interactions with this company have been great and 100% professional. A technician visited my home and fixed the ac unit. My wife was home alone because I had appointments at work I needed to make. The wife was impressed with the technician being knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She told me that we will be using Kelley & Dawson again in the future. The technician showed up on time and didn't waste any time getting things fixed. He was able to stay in contact with me via phone before his arrival and while I was at work in order to solve our problems . Very very happy today!

Kelley & Dawson installed our furnace/air conditioning 11 years ago and have been doing followup maintenance checks since then. Have always been very satisfied with the product, and with their work and customer service attitude, from Michelle in the office to the servicemen who come to the house. Today Ben was the serviceman, and did a great job. Arrived promptly, appeared knowledgeable and experienced in what he was doing. He answered my questions about the furnace, was pleasant and professional through it all. When he identified a part that was getting weak, he informed me of the options and gave me the choice on what to do about it. We have been very happy with this company, and I don't know why we would ever go anywhere else for furnace and air conditioning needs.

We began using Kelly & Dawson in June 18 based on a recommendation from a friend. We signed up for the maintenance contract and received our reminder call in December for our furnace check up. Our tech was on time and did a thorough inspection finding a crack and rust on the heat exchange unit. He explained the potential hazards of continuing to use our current furnace. He then provided a quote for a replacement unit and the many options available. We agreed upon the right units, both heating and air conditioning, to install and signed the contract. Three days later the team installed the new systems in just over 3 hours. The entire team was very professional. We are extremely happy with the service provided and glad we have chosen Kelly & Dawson to be our HVAC contractor!

Kelley & Dawson has always offered incredible service and support. I trust them completely with all my HVAC needs. Today Brian came out for my spring service and went above and beyond. There has been a piece of plastic sheeting in one of my vents since I bought my home that rattled around any time the furnace or AC was running. My young children would wake up scared every night because of “the monster” in the wall. I was ready to cut the wall open to figure out what it was, but I mentioned the sound to Brian and in just a few minutes he had it taken care of. I’m thrilled!

I cannot say enough great things about the wonderful people of Kelley and Dawson! In the past two months I have called them to two different residences, for two different reasons and they were honest, fair, and reasonable. They do not want to sell you a part you do not need and will listen to your concerns and address them to you. I was offered a great explanation of the problems with my units, and they were both fixed promptly. The last call I made to them I had a tech at my doorstep in 15 minutes. I needed a new AC unit so I put out for three bids. Kelley and Dawson wasn’t the highest or lowest bid they were right in the middle. What sold me is the time and care the Kelley and Dawson technician took inspecting my old system, taking measurements, writing down careful notes, etc. He was kind of an older fellow and you could tell he knew what he was doing. Also the old unit had a Kelley and Dawson sticker and it had lasted much longer than normal before it went dead. When the new unit was installed this same technician came by to inspect everything and make sure the installers did a good job. Later when the city inspector came out I told him about this very thorough technician who personally saw to the quality of the work. The city inspector fellow told me Kelley and Dawson is one of the best in all of Wichita and furthermore that “technician” was actually the owner of the company! Apparently the owner of Kelley and Dawson personally makes sure every system is done right. City inspector fellow went down to my basement with a flashlight, looked the installation over for literally like less than a minute, declared it was a top quality job, and signed off the paperwork. My airconditioner had worried me for so many years. It was absolutely inefficient costing our family so much money each summer.. I was looking for a Trane airconditioner. Kelley & Dawson installed the new airconditioner so quickly and I couldn't be happier. Our new Trane Air Conditioner hardly has to run at all to keep our house cool and our electric bills have been less since our ac was installed. I highly recommend this company.

My air conditioner quit working end of last week. I found out the Evaporator Coil was leaking refrigerant and had been for some time. I had the choice to replace just the coil and leave the rest of the existing 18 year old system as is or just replace the whole system with new. I decided to go ahead and get a new system that will hopefully last for the next 20 years. My decision was between two companies offering very similar equipment at essentially the same price. Both companies were professional and responsive through the whole bid process. It was a tough choice to make as both companies were great to work with and both offered top tier equipment. Ultimately I decided to go with the other company over Kelley & Dawson but it was truthfully at no fault of K&D. I literally almost had to flip a coin! I ended up going with the other company in the end because they were the first ones I called and that I had come out. Also they could get to me just a week sooner. This really was not a huge issue though because both companies offered to get me fixed up good enough to stay cool until they could make it out to us. I won't mention the other company here as I feel K&D deserves all the recognition on this review. If anything falls through with the company I went with, I will be calling back K&D to move forward with them. I highly recommend that K&D should be called and considered for any HVAC replacememts or services. Thanks BJ for taking the time to meet with me and providing me with a competitive bid and excellent customer service.

Called on a Sunday morning, on Valentine's day, in a snow storm and temperatures below zero. Our heater went out at 3 am. Gage was there by 11 am and had it fixed within the hour or so. We are extremely grateful as the windchill were approaching -20 the next few days. I highly, highly recommend Kelley and Dawson Service to anyone.

Michelle from the office was very courteous. She let me know from the beginning the number that would be calling me back to let me know when the service tech would be to my house. Ben (the tech) was here within 15 minutes from when she called me and within 3 hrs of my initial call. He had it fixed within 2.5 hrs. My furnace went out sometime during the night on a Friday so I called Kelley and Dawson Service Saturday morning. The service was predictably wonderful. As I had a maintenance task that I couldn't accomplish, I called the company and after explaining that I was unable to access the filter cage, I was was told that someone could come out within a short time. The service man was very nice and worked quite awhile to make the filter more easily accessible. He insured that I could remove the slide/door to the "cage" with much more ease than in the past seven years during which I had to use a hammer and pliers to pull the door up.

So, this company seems like small business, but it is actually well run and fairly priced. Our AC stopped working a few weeks ago. Of course it had to go out at about 8:00 at night during the hottest stretch we've had yet this summer. Our house was 90 degrees by morning! I was dreading what was going to happen during the day the following day while my wife and kids were scheduled to be at home all day. I had to buy a new HVAC system early summer 2018. They got it all done before 1:00pm. Only issue I had is the wires were not lock nut tight so the system would keep shutting off. Once the wires were properly connected and tight it worked just fine. Easy fix. I received free fall and spring maintenance for the first year. Ben was the technician for the Spring cleaning and he was great explaining how easy it is to clean the coils.

I can't say enough about the service that Brian from Kelley & Dawson provided today. My very old AC was not cooling so I called them. Long story short, he checked it and realized it was shot and I needed a new one. He explained that it would take several days to get it installed because they are backed up, and I almost started crying because my daughter, son-in-law and 6 month old grandson are arriving on Sunday from San Francisco for a two week visit. I couldn't imagine their discomfort in this heat. Last week BJ, from Kelley and Dawson came out to the house and gave me a quote to replace our 23 year old heating and AC system, along with the old humidifier. Today, three trucks rolled up to the house (exactly when they said they would be here). They laid drop cloths down and went to work. In about 5 hours all of the old equipment was gone, all debris rolled up in the drop cloths, and now sitting here warm and extremely comfortable on a 27 degree day outside. The three technicians, Gage, Caleb, and John, were professional, efficient, and extremely nice to deal with. In a world today where it seems like customer service has gone out the window, that is not the case with this company. They answered all of my questions and even made some changes to my duct work at no additional cost. To top it all off, of the three quotes I received, they were the least expensive by several hundred dollars. This will be the company I use for any future heating and air needs.

I was in a pinch. Weeks of 95+ temperatures and our AC goes out. With wifey being 8 months pregnant I turned all my energy toward solving the problem. But ultimately I was befuddled, baffled and discombobulated. I checked the power, the fuses, the wiring, the ground, cleaned the contacts and even replaced both capacitors. I watched several "How To/DIY" videos on YouTube. Nothing. Couldn't figure out why the darn thing wouldn't turn on. Needless to say, I was exceedingly vexed. It took much restaint to keep myself from shooting that AC unit. So 3 hours into it I gave up and, swallowing my pride, began calling around. All the HVAC places were of course booked till the next day or even till the next week. There was one however, Kelley and Dawson Service, that came through for me and said a guy could be out later that same day. Praise the Lord! Sure enough, the van rolls into the drive about 4 hours later. The chap who exited the vehicle was about 12 years old and I was like, "Oh great, a rookie." He was polite and responsive and jumped right into his work. Really seemed to know what he was doing. Within 20 minutes he had the problem diagnosed and an hour later the AC unit was operational once again. I'll be recommending Kelley and Dawson Service in the furture for sure. Thanks Chad! -Jim
