Chris was our technician and he was FANTASTIC. Could not recommend this company more. Came out on a Friday night at 7:30 pm to fix our heater, explained everything that was wrong and didn’t over charge us. Even showed us how to fix it if the problem occurred in the future. Our AC decided it was going to quit in the hottest part of summer. A call to Fenix Heating & AC quickly got us going, but the dreaded "it's going to need major work or a new unit" words were uttered. Not a shock as our unit was old. Thankfully, Fenix made the process as painless as possible. Even helping us with a portable unit to help us limp through till they could get a new unit installed. Working in the HVAC field for years, I am aware of how busy this time of year can be and I am VERY appreciative they could work us in. Fenix was a joy to work with from salesman Cory, to 3 different techs (Wes, Damon, & Al) helping us to limp through and after installation fine tuning, to the installers Curtis and Wayne. The office was on top of letting us know when to expect everyone. They let me know about Lennox financing to help ease the financial burden. We bought the Lennox Elite 96% AFUE Furnace 2 stage variable speed with 16 seer Condensing 2 stage unit, coil, and Lennox Icomfort Thermostat which I love.Thank you to the Fenix team! Wouldn't you know the day Fenix was to arrive, the weather was inclement. That didn't stop them from doing their job. They arrived promptly on the scheduled date and time that was set. There were two installers since we were having both heating and air completed. They were both courteous and worked well together. As they began to work, our electricity went out due to the weather. They did not complain and they continued to work in the dark with their flash lights. After the installation was complete, they explained the system details clearly and ask if we had any questions. We are so pleased with the work completed and the system itself. The system is much quieter than our previous one and we love the new thermostat. I placed a call to Fenix at 730pm on a Saturday night because my air condition was not blowing cold air. Eric the technician called back within 10 minutes and was at my house in 20 minutes. Air conditioner needed a new compressor. it was installed and air is working great. Eric was very professional, listened to my questions and answered some concerns I had. Recently had Fenix replace my aging furnace and AC unit. After getting bids from 2 other companies I decided to go with Fenix and glad i did. Price and the fact that they were a Lennox dealer were the main reasons. Installation went smoothly and technicians went out of their way to cover all carpeting and keep everything neat and clean. As they finished up the job a city inspector showed up so that gave me piece of mind knowing that it was all per code. The sales person was honest and willing to supply what my houses needed and not what he wanted to just sell me for no reason or to make extra money. All the technicians were very friendly and able to explain things in detail. The new system made a huge difference in our home within 5 hours of installing it. Even though our backyard was not in ideal working conditions due to being relandscaped the techs did everything possible to make sure that the yard was maintained and that zero mud was brought into the house. I have used Fenix for a couple of new HVAC systems. Each time they were nothing but professional and kind. I dealt with Luke each time. Once about 5 years ago and just recently. Each time they gave me a quick quote and each time they were the best priced in Wichita. Each new HVAC install they went out of their way with advice and possible "Needed" upgrades. My project had two parts. I needed an HVAC company to disconnect my two outside AC units and move them off to the side so I could have a new concrete pad poured. Then I needed the HVAC company to come back and install both units which was after 2-3 weeks. When I called Fenix the gentleman I spoke with was extremely helpful and clearly understood what I needed. He was able to provide me with a price right then and the price was quite reasonable. On both service calls, Fenix called me the day before to remind me of the appointment and also called the day of the appointment to tell me they were on the way. I had an old system that was 18 years old and not doing a great job at heating or cooling all areas of my home; not to mention high summer electric bills. I spent countless hours on the internet educating myself on HVACs and reviewing various brands to determine whether I should replace it. After deciding it was probably a good idea to get some professional advice, I had several companies come out to review my current setup, make recommendations and provide a quote. Luke Parthemer from Fenix was the only one to address some shortcomings of my current setup and make a recommendation that he felt was the best value. The Fenix installation team arrived on time and were very professional & friendly. Tarps were laid down on my floor and the work area was clean when they left. They also went over all the things I needed to know about my new a/c & heating system. This new system appears to have resolved those problem areas, but Luke offered to come out and do some tweaking if needed. I highly recommend Fenix Heating and Cooling. Had a/c problems this summer in house I just bought. Previous owner got it from fenix. Didn't want to pay for service call as labor wasn't covered by warranty anymore. Service manager gave me some troubleshooting ideas over the phone. Very helpful. Ultimately I couldn't fix it so Chad had to come out. He fixed it and taught me a bit in process. Great customer service. Having heat or a/c problems sucks, but finding a comany you feel you can trust to make it good without breaking it off in you makes it suck less. I'll definitely be checking with them first next time I need service or product.

The workers were on time and answered all of my questions. The installation turned out extremely well. The two stage system is much better than the single stage system I originally had. We were with the same HVAC company for many years (about 20). When it became apparent that we needed a new system, we were not satisfied with the options and prices that our current company provided. I had heard of Fenix because several friends had new systems installed by the company. These three references spoke very highly of Fenix, and the entire process experienced (from estimate to installation). Cory was eager to help from the first time I contacted him. From the minute that we met and discussed my needs, I could tell that Fenix was going to be my new company going forward. After promptly getting the quotes from Cory, I had a bunch more questions. He was extremely helpful, and patiently answered every question I had. Some of these questions came at the last minute, but Cory was always happy to take the time to answer everything. Chris and Eric were the professionals that installed our system (a third person joined later for a time). These guys couldn't have been any better. To start off, I was concerned about our wood floors upstairs and the mess that would happen from the installation. When the guys got here, they brought brand new drop cloths. EVERY area they walked was dropped with fresh drop cloths. The level of care taken was exceptional. Every step of the way they kept me informed on what was going on. When issues came up (like a mess the electrician who did my house created), the guys brought it to my attention. They asked for approval before doing anything. This was beyond impressive. Most companies don't care. In deciding to keep my existing humidifier, the guys discussed placement with me. I hesitated to put the unit on the side because it might be in the way. They found a way to get it on the return in a place that I preferred. And they made the suggestion of putting it on the box so that if it has to be replaced at some point, I won't have a bigger hole in the return that has to be patched. I didn't know about these options, but Chris and Eric were happy to take the time to discuss the options and then come up with the best solution for us. This is beyond excellent service. The level of detail these guys put into their work is obvious. They didn't even take a lunch break. The job is long, and they could have shortened their time by not being as careful, and not being meticulous. It is clear they were perfectionists, and wanted this job done right. That is incredible. No company seems to do this anymore. The guys took a lot of time to show us how to use the new thermostat. They explained the features, how it works, etc. This was great because I didn't even have to look at the manual. I understood how to use it and set it before they left. Finally, I truly figured I was going to have hours of cleanup to do in the room where the unit was installed. When the guys were done and asked me to come take a look, I couldn't believe what I saw. EVERYTHING had been cleaned to the point that I didn't have to do anything! Even the counter that I have in the room was wiped down and cleaned. I had NOTHING to do when Fenix left my house. I couldn't believe it. The floor was cleaned to the point that I simply didn't have to do anything. I just cannot stress enough how happy we are with Fenix. Cory was amazing during the entire process. And Chris and Eric deserve a big raise--they could NOT have been better. Every time I need to have a company do work in my house, I dread it. There is always a problem. Something goes wrong, and it creates problems. With Fenix, we were given EVERYTHING that was promised. And then some. If every company operated like Fenix, I would be thrilled. We are now maintenance customers of Fenix, also. I look forward to many years of working with Fenix. Through our Home Warranty Co. a new AC/Heatpump system installed Mid-September 2019 by another local company. 40 days later & time to use the heatpump & it doesn't work. The other company refused to come back and see what the issue was. Home Warranty Co left it to me to find a contractor to diagnose the issue. Contacted another HA Co & they pushed me off to try and "work it out" with original Contractor. Contacted Fenix, told them of my issue, they sent a Tech out, "Greg" & in an hour had determined that 2 wires were not jumpered correctly nor was the Thermostat itself set up correctly. Took him about an hour to correct. Extremely happy with the service I received & will continue to use them in the future.
