This is the best HVAC company around. I had so many problems with other companies before finding Gulf Coast. The experience from start to finish with them was a breathe of fresh air for me. Debi in the office was my 1st point of contact & she provided amazing customer service. Her knowledge and prompt follow ups were much appreciated. My installers for my warranty repair work were Peter & Ronnie. They were prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. The cost was fair & market value unlike 3 other companies I researched. I will be a Gulf Coast customer for life now. If you don’t want to shop around like I did then just go with Gulf Coast cause I can promise you a fair price with prompt knowledgeable service. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Gulf Coast!

We have been using Gulf Coast Air Systems, Inc. for the past decade and am confident in their ability to show up when they say they will, do quality work, and charge a reasonable fee. We first hired them in 2012 to install a new system in a rental property we own. They have also serviced the A/C in our new home. The installation was hard work because of access issues but the crew never complained and worked so hard. They were polite and professional and cleaned up after they were finished. Service Technician Michael is amazing!. He's very passionate on the work he did for my Carrier A/C unit and gives 1000% on the service work he does when fixing my A/C unit. He's Very professional, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service and tech service when doing both a diagnostic on my unit; in finding the root cause as to why my 2 yr old Carrier A/C unit wasn't cooling properly and fixed/resolved the issue at hand. My Carrier A/C unit is back up and running now and performing perfectly!. My home is nice and cold now during these hot Florida weather Temps. Im beyond grateful to Michael in resolving my A/C tech issue. I highly recommend using Michael for all your A/C tech service needs. You will NOT be disappointed at all. I called after hours for my parents AC unit that was not cooling. Within minutes I received a callback to let me know I would go on the schedule first thing in the am. My day started with the most pleasant conversation with Mr. Kenneth. He assured me that he would be at my parents house within the hour, throughout his time at the house, he called me to give me routine updates (since I could not be there), which I greatly appreciated! He not only gave me options, HE looked into the warranty information on the unit. To have him go that extra mile for me and not burdening my parents with that was another added relief! He got the parts ordered and replaced within a few hours. We were truly blessed to have Kenneth service our unit. And Gulf Coast Air Systems is equally blessed to have such a dedicated and pleasant person on their team. I hope to not have any other AC issues, but I will definitely use GULF COAST AIR again and I will recommend them to anyone who needs a reputable and relatable organization. We had Gulf Coast Air come out for a second opinion on our non-functioning AC, after another company told us our compressor had failed and we either needed a new compressor (over $1500) or an entire new unit (almost $7K). Alvin and John came out and very thoroughly inspected our system. Turns out that our AC unit was actually fine, it was our breaker that had gone bad, which was an easy fix and SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive. I am so thankful that we had HONEST, ethical, skilled techs come out to check our unit. They easily could have just agreed with the previous assessment and tried to sell us a whole new system. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate them!

Have used gulf coast air systems since 1985, they not only install but also maintain my unit through a service agreement. They are always responsive and arrive at time scheduled. This time I had a new unit installed and dealt with Amari, who went above and beyond to keep my cool until my unit arrived (yes COVID-19 has effected them). Amari personally brought a portable unit to my house to make things bearable until my unit was installed. We had our air go out in October of 2020. We called Gulf Coast Air and they were quick to respond and assess our situation. They brought us a portable unit to use while they replaced our unit. Ronnie and Joel completely re-ducted one of our units to better cool our upstairs. It was hard work in the attic and took most of a day. The result was great. No more freezing the first floor to cool the 2nd floor in the heat of summer. Saved us money and was well worth the reasonable labor costs. They’re our go-to AC company. Professional staff (and they clean up after the job).

We have an older AC unit and perform an annual service with Gulf Coast Air Systems to extend the life of the unit. Brandon was very thorough and honest in his evaluation of the unit. Although the 14-year-old unit is showing signs it is approaching the end of its life, Brandon fully explained his diagnostics and was able to perform several minor services that should extend the life of the unit for a few more years. I appreciate his honesty and the transparency of service that I’ve always received from Gulf Coast Air Systems during these yearly service visits. They are not out to sell new AC units as soon as a problem arises but prefer preventative maintenance and repairs if at all possible. Thank you!

I want to thank the staff at Gulf Coast Air Systems. Jason helped get us scheduled and equipped as soon as possible after our air unit went out. The technicians arrived on time and never stopped working until the install was complete. They completely cleaned up afterwards and then gave clear instructions to me regarding the new equipment. On our last maintenance visit, Luke diagnosed a problem with our blower motor and circuit board on one unit and replaced a capacitor that was showing signs of wear on the other. We've used Gulf Coast Air Systems for years to do the maintenance of the Carrier unit that was installed by our home-builder in 2003. Zero issues with their service, always prompt and courteous, and the unit is still going strong. We moved last year and within a few months of getting in the home, the AC unit failed (it was rather old). The team at Gulf Coast came by and charged the unit enough to get us by while they worked us into their schedule for replacement. The new unit keeps the house very comfortable and lowered our monthly electric spend! We still have Gulf Coast servicing our first home (which is now a rental) and they're taking care of our current home on their annual plan. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We have used Gulf Coast for many years. They sold us a replacement unit for our previous home, along with replacing 2 of our 3 units for our dental practice. We have a maintenance contract with them for all our units. We recently sold our home and moved into a condo. The first thing we did is sign up for a maintenance contract. Every 6 months check everything. They let us know if there is something they "suspect" might come up later. Luke has been to our condo for the past couple visits. He is prompt, very courteous and answers our questions. Unlike previous reviews, we don't expect something for nothing. We understand an AC unit will not live forever, and sometimes you get a "dud". It's not the fault of your local business. If anyone should stand up for the unit, it should be the one who made it. Gulf Coast's reputation for being a great Christian business gives them the right for first bid, when I have a need for replacement. I'm not related to, nor have any "interest" in this business except to say for the past many years of using their services for both repair, maintenance and replacement of residential and commercial, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for all your AC needs.

Gulf Coast Air Systems provides exemplary service. I've used them for more than a decade. The stand behind the systems they install, and all their personnel are friendly and professional. I just got a new system installed, and after a day there was a bit of a problem with it. I had their "emergency" on-call technician, Mike Hackett, Jr., come out to look at it. He asked me two questions and knew what the problem was (actually, I think he knew what the problem was before he arrived, just from our phone conversation!). Too much coolant/pressure in the system. Fixed it less than an hour. Boom. Friendly, professional, not in a hurry, seemed happy to help, even though it was 8:00 at night. Thanks!

Not only did you tirelessly work to find an exact replacement (my unit was 12 years old) but your team (Donny and Angel) worked not stop to ensure I was back in service very quickly. This weekend had a problem with our Air Conditioner, so called Gulf Coast Air early Saturday morning. Within an hour Matt Moore came, did a quick assessment, immdiately identified the issue, and repaired/replaced the burned out fan motor. Friendly, knowledgeable, and no attempt to "upsell" us. I asked about getting a more up-to-date thermostat, and he was able to immediately quote a price, make the switch. Everything about the experience (other than having had the problem in the first place, which is not the companies fault!) was excellent. Matt M. was our service tech here in Brandon, FL. He was excellent and very thorough. Our system is brand new, and top of the line, and unfortunately the company who installed it (ARS) did TERRIBLE work and the system has never worked properly. We have had that company here at least 4 times and they have never fixed the issue of the system not cooling. Within 20 minutes of Gulf Coast being here, Matt had figured out exactly what the issue is and ensuring its fixed. Highly recommend this company!

Our long time A/C guy retired and we needed to find a new firm. Our system was having one of those electrical problems that was difficult to pinpoint because when the technician was there and everything was working, they couldn't tell for sure what the specific issue was. None of the three who came at different times wanted to just guess and charge us for a part we might not need. Finally, this past Friday night at about 8:30, Mike Hackett (it was his second time out) was able to determine that the problem was the thermostat. He replaced it and was gone in about 30 minutes. We certainly appreciate the prompt service, and Mike's professionalism. And the system has been working fine since then. Also, they did not charge us for the service calls when they couldn't locate the problem; definitely appreciated as well. we will certainly use Gulf Coast in the future.

Excellent service from Gulf Coast Air Systems' Mike Hackett, Jr. today !!!! He arrived on time and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He began with the outside unit taking readings and measurements with his gauges and meter. He detected the freon was a bit low, but not much. He added a little Freon, and recorded all the necessary information. Additionally he cleaned the grass clippings and other dirt from the outside unit. Then he put the panels, etc. back on the outside unit. Next he went into the Attic, opened panels on the inside uniy and took the measurement . All measurements were good. He ran water through the overflow pipe and it was cleaned also. Mike performed a great job on our unit, both outside and inside. I highly recommend Mike!! He did a great job.
