I had a new AC system recently installed by a different company and after having it rechecked There was not much improvement. I called Air Express to perform a diagnostic evaluation to determine the problem. David came to my home and was very polite and kind and immediately made me feel very comfortable. He explained everything that the was going to do and once he finished, double checked his findings and explained everything to me and also spoke with my son on a he phone to share the results. I truly believe that customer service and customer satisfaction is always number one. I very highly recommend Air Express. David was wonderful but I am sure the whole team is as well. I highly recommend using Air Express

My a/c stopped working on a Thursday night and during a current heat wave. Air Express was recommended by a friend of mine and I was able to go onto their website to schedule an appointment. Their website is very easy to use. I was able to get a technician to come to my home the next day. David came and was very knowledgeable. I moved to a new house in September 2020. Two years later, I realized it was past time to set up AC maintenance (because - TAMPA!) I found Air Express LLC online and contacted them for a quote on tune-up service. Everyone I worked with was incredibly friendly, kind, and professional. Natasha was our appointment coordinator. She was able to schedule a service call the same week I reached out, and set clear expectations as to the service parameters, cost, and time frame. She kept me updated with text messages and emails the entire way along. Zach R. was our technician - he was able to come out sooner than originally scheduled, and the office called to confirm if we wanted the earlier time. Zach arrived promptly - he was an incredibly professional and knowledgeable consultant. He offered several solutions for our HVAC system, and explained each step of the process as well as recapping what services had been performed. I will be contacting this company again to install a new air purification system, and will want them to handle any routine maintenance going forward. Incredible, stress-free experience with clear next steps.

We were recommended to call Ahoy! from a friend. They did not disappoint! We received a text message with a photo of the technician before he arrived. The technician even put shoe covers on to protect our flooring. He was super friendly and explained everything in detail. We will be recommending Ahoy! to all of our friends!

House came with a shoddily installed AC on the 2nd floor. Zach helped me diagnose the multiple problems over the year and ultimately helped me pick out the proper AC unit for my needs. Him, and his installers Wilfredo and Edgar were quick and efficient to properly install my new AC. It's much quieter and efficient. Zach even hooked me up with a remote sensor to allow my Google nest thermostat to cool to the sensor instead of just the thermostat. Thanks! November 30th, 2022 update: AC works great, but needed some tweaks to the programming as it sometimes thought there was a problem and shut down the condenser for safety. And while I'm glad it does that, this wasn't a real problem and falsely triggered when I changed the mode on the thermostat. They came out to adjust the programming and installed an upgrade for free to help mitigate this mode change issue.

Air Express is all that, we have been using their services for the past 6 years from routine maintenance to replacing the a/c system. The whole Air Express crew is a team of professional , caring , honest and knowledgable people. I cannot praise enough their office manager, Natasha, who is always going above and beyond to help you with any questions or problems you might have (she is also super patient and caring), all the technicians who are also very detailed and know their job to the best. Initially, my experience with Air Express was nothing but great. David came out to inspect our AC unit while our business was still open, and he was able to take a look at everything without disturbing operations. We do have some issues that need to be addressed with our unit, and we initially had a miscommunication, but the owner reached out personally to explain the situation and give me his number to contact him directly. I haven't had a chance to speak with him yet, but I wanted to rectify this review as soon as I was able.

We did go with a less expensive option with another company because we are older and have to conserve resources. The professionalism and quality of this company are excellent. They spent a lot of time with us and if it were in the budget we would have gone with a new ductless system. Thank you for your time and help.

My one year old AC stoped cooling and I called Express AC. Chris, came out and determined that coil was leaking refrigerant in air handler. Here’s the lucky part for me: even though I was only a few months outside of labor warranty, Express Ac authorized free repair. It would have cost me $4000 or so to get it fixed.. yikes! Lucked out on life’s choices there I did. Chris was professional and wore little protective slip on socks on his boots every time he came indoors to avoid tracking in dirt. That was a nice touch! Chris did a very thorough inspection , it took him nearly 3 hours to diagnose the problem. Great to deal with!

Same day service available. Technician, Jesus, was great, explained my opinions, had parts needed (Blower Motor), and fixed the problem. Service was great. 4 starts (instead of 5) because of the price. They are more expensive than others. I didn't even get back the $99 diagnostic charge like I was promised up front. But, I guess it beats not have AC.

I was having issues with my ac system for a few days, I called around and the lady that helped me out was so kind. I forgot her name but she was very nice and very helpful, they got me in the SAME DAY i called which was on a Saturday. Air Express was very good! I called them in the morning and not only did they have a technician out that afternoon but they were able to install the necessary adjustments same day. The only downside was the $100 cost for the technician to come out. Lester was amazing - professional, on time, communicated well and kept a very clean work space/area. He was very knowledgeable and was able to provide me with all the information I needed around the questions I asked. I plan on using Air Express again as I signed up for their maintainence membership. Would recommend to anyone looking in the area.

I use Air Express now for over two years for AC repairs and maintenance. I feel they have fair prices and I am sure they provide great service. Russel last time and Adam this time were professional, attentive and Adam even texted with me after 10 PM to try finding out the issue. I highly recommend them. Only negative is they don’t have 24 hours service, but Adam was there first thing in the morning as promised.

As a General Manager who has worked in 13 different states with various HVAC vendors across various apartment styles, I have to say that Air Express has been the most responsive, professional, and knowledgeable group of HVAC professionals that I have come across. My 161 unit property retail space had a complicated issue with our system, the tech, David, took his time and did not give up, even after several hours to figure out the issue. He was diligent and eventually found exactly what was going on with our system and is in the process of getting it repaired. This not only leaves myself happy but our retail clients happy as well. Anastasia, the Office Manager, has been there every step of the way, taking my many phone calls and text messages. Her professionalism, even in the face my frustration, was unwavering and I have appreciate her direct relationship. She even helped me when I was in bind with one of our units HVAC. Adam, the owner, is available and cares about his relationship with businesses. I have appreciated his personal attention to our needs and I look forward to doing business with them now and in the future. I highly recommend them for commercial or personal use.

Our system was a disaster when we bought our house to say the least. We solicited for several quotes to replace our system. Some other companies were not willing to take the job on. Adam at air express spent a significant amount of time coming up with a plan to improve the quality and efficiency of our HVAC. It took 4 workers 3 days for the job. While the team was in our house they took great care to be respectful of our home. They were gentlemen and professionals. They were courteous with our family and belongings. Today was my system check day and Zach came out to look it over. He check both the compressor and the air handler. This wasn't just a look and run check up he did a very thorough job. Really impressed with this team the embrace technology they kept me in the loop and I'm very happy with the service provided by the entire air express team and Zack especially. I had an exceptional experience with Air Express and it`s tech. Adam Washburn. The outside unit of our 15 year old A/C stopped working this weekend. However, I turned it on this morning and it worked again. I asked Adam come in anyway to do a wellness check on the system and give me an estimate of a replacement. Adam came in performed some measurements and told me it was working hard but, as old as it was it was still working. Then he opened a panel and found the cause of this weekend's failure, a rat had shorted out a capacitor. Adam removed and bagged the rat, closed up the system, and recommended I give it week to see if it continued to work. We talked about replacing my obsolete A/C but, no high pressure sales for the new unit. I give Air Express and Adam 5 stars and I`ll call him when I'm ready to install a new system. Great job Adam! You will be hearing from me.

I’ve used these guys for my business and home now, and they are great. You can track them via text and know when they’re going to arrive. I wish the arrival windows were a little bit tighter but they are fast and efficient, so can’t complain too much. I’ve worked with Lester a couple times now and he is amazing- you can tell they’re really picky about who they hire. It’s definitely one of those new-age, non-pushy, “we inform you, we don’t sell you” types of businesses. He gave me all the info I needed to make the best decision and didn’t try to push anything on me. He also wore a mask the whole time- telling me he, and likely the rest of their techs, are the kind of people who care about making the customer feel comfortable- and developing a relationship rather than just making a sale and never seeing you again. Really glad I found these guys and couldn’t recommend them more for AC services.

I highly recommend Air Express. I bought my house with a 30 year old ac unit and I knew it would soon need to be replaced. It broke down on me about twice a year and I had different companies out to fix it, each time they would give me a quote to replace my ancient ac. Over the years I received 4 quotes and Air express was not only the cheapest but the most professional. The owner himself arrived within an hour of my emergency call and had the problem diagnosed soon after. He was able to get it running for the night and his crew arrived the next morning installing all new equipment. They had it done that day and it was a clean professional looking job. Since then I have recommended them to 2 friends who were also happy with the work. I also just had them back to install a new vent and thermostat in a room that was warmer then the rest of the house. Again they did a prompt, clean, and very reasonably priced job. I highly recommend air express.

This is a wow business. Every individual I've worked with has been extremely professional and well-mannered. To the point where it almost seems like they are trained specifically on how to be professional, even though I know that's not a thing. I've had Braxton on these last few visits and he's my favorite, he's a genius with HVAC, super thorough, and actually explains, provides video, and photos the entire process when they're performing maintenance so I know what's going on and how to mitigate issues in the future. This is one of the few businesses I would go out of my way to recommend. They are just plain awesome.

The people at Air Express are real professionals. Every time I have called them has been a good experience. Recently, I called and scheduled a preventive maintenance check on my A/C before the the warm weather starts. Their maintenance tech, Lazaro, arrived on time, professionally dressed and was pleasant and polite. He was even nice enough to answer my questions as I watched him service the air handler. There were several small items that he noticed and corrected (missing caps, separated insulation, small seams where air entered the unit in the attic) in order to keep the unit functioning efficiently and to prevent potential problems. He was very thorough cleaning off the mold. which had built up, and checking all the connections. He checked the specs and functioning of the outside part of the A/C unit and explained the readings he was receiving. It was comforting to know that the unit was functioning properly (it's over 10 years old), and he said that with normal service it should last a while longer. It was refreshing that he answered my questions, but did not try to sell me anything I did not need. In an industry where you can easily be taken advantage of (been there, done that), it is nice to have peace of mind knowing that I've found a company who values my business and lets me rest easy knowing I'm being treated fairly and honestly.

Lester was phenomenal from start to finish. The appointment was set last minute and Lester still showed up on time. From the time he started, Lester was very thorough and explained what he was doing at every stop. This type of professionalism is not as common as you would hope, as I deal with installers on regular basis. Lester is one of the best installers I have dealt with. The communication and the way the whole job was handled was first class. I will definitely use Lester again in the future.

Just had a complete new system installed and I just can’t express how glad I am that I called Air Express for the job. From the very beginning they were professional and very efficient. They answered all my questions and concerns about what was needed and explained things I didn’t understand in a way that I could understand and make good choices on the equipment installed. They offered me good suggestions and solutions to a problem I had with some of my duct work that had been problematic in the past. The installation was very clean, the system is quiet and efficient with a good warranty/service agreement. Used this company during AC emergency after a week of suffering from the not-so-professional AND not-so-competent service by another AC company. After consulting condominium HOA and expressing my frustration, found Air Express among the few recommended companies. And...guess what ? That was the best decision. A/C install was performed as promised. It was important to me to be able to keep a room cool all day for my dog while the install happened, and instead of having to go buy a portable, Air Express brought one that worked perfectly. The install was done by very friendly employees, and ended up being quicker than originally expected. I would recommend doing business with this company to any of my friends & family. Called the company that installed it originally a few years ago and they gave me the runaround and said it would be a week before they could get to me. I called Air Express and they were out in a few hours and got things up and running quick. Lester was very professional and friendly and showed me the issues. He had the parts he needed and got it done. Nobody wants to deal with AC issues but these guys make it easy!

I really like this company. Because of Adam (technician) was working on my air conditioning. He was very knowledgeable and eager to explain to me what was the problem. He gave me two options to repair it. It was my decision to choose. I decided to go with the least expensive to save some money. The total job cost me $148.00 that includes the service call which is $69.00. One more thing, they put on the shoe cover on their shoes before they come into your house. I really like that.

We have had great service from Air Express. Adam came out the first day we called. He was knowledgeable about what system would best meet our needs and provided an immediate quote. (The research we had already done showed Amana as the most reliable system, and we were thrilled when Adam suggested that brand to us.) They installed it the next day, and we are delighted with the results. Adam followed up a couple of days later to check airflow and then set up geo-fencing on our phones. UPDATE: decided to give the service side a chance since this is still the best reviewed AMANA dealer around. The service was excellent, Braxton was extremely thorough and fully serviced every bit of the unit. Can’t fully express how impressed I am with the service side. I wish there had been better communication early on that I had free maintenance for the first year. Highly recommend for AC maintenance! I was very impressed with the quality of work initially until it came time to change my filter when I realized that the one the installer put in was the incorrect size (20x 20) in a 23 x 20 hole while the one I had been preparing to buy was 23x21 which is what was written in Sharpie in the side of the unit. The permit was never followed up on and required me to call multiple times to the business to find out the status of the permit which was finally inspected months after install. As I was concerned with the lack of professionalism with the filter and inspection, I began to wonder if my 10 year parts/labor and lifetime outdoor unit warranty I paid for was properly registered. IT WAS NOT. My dad owns an HVAC business in another state selling Amana and saw no registration at all. This means my warranty would have reverted to a basic 5 year with no way to get it back and I would have been out the extra money paid for the warranty. I have had no calls for an annual service contract to keep my warranty good anyways. Extremely disappointed with the install paperwork process, if they do an install verify the permit was closed out and the warranty registration complete.

AirExpress and Adam are outstanding. He provides excellent advice and takes the time to explain the options to repair or replace the air conditioner. We replaced ours and he walked us through the different models and the advantages. We purchased the Amanda heat pump with an unitary inverter. We bought it on Friday (he fixed the old unit so we got through the weekend). They installed on Monday and what a difference! We have the thermostat set 4 degrees higher and our house is colder than with the old unit. In addition, the thermostat tells you the percentage usage of the unit. It has been running around 65%. I expect to see a noticeable decrease in my electrical bill. Last, Leo, the installer had to be one of the nicest people you can meet. He worked diligently and had a continuous smile on his face. I strongly recommend AirExpress.

Justin was excellent. He explained the problem and fixed it. It was a big job and he stayed late to finish the installation of a new pump and copper tubing up through the ceiling, across the attic and out through the roof. Apparently, when my house was built the the builder did a substandard job laying the condensation PVC pipe from the inside unit. I've had to have it blown out many times and finally it became blocked. I've been using Air Express for a couple years and would have no problem recommending them to friends and family.

We had a previous company come out and inspect the AC for our 3rd floor, they advised we needed a brand new compressor which would have cost us thousands of dollars. Needed a new HVAC unit only a few days after moving into my tampa condo from NY. Didn't know anything about HVAC systems, what to look for, or who to call. Did some research on Consumer Reports home adviser. Called a few places, the first being Air Express, to give me a quote on new HVAC. Adam from Air Express came out answered all my questions, explained how the HVAC would work, explained what was wrong with my old one, and even never pressured me into anything. Was just honest, straight forward, and really spent some time going over everything with me. I took his quote and immediately canceled all other quotes I had scheduled from other companies. A few days after the instillation I noticed the the HVAC was leaking. At first I was so frustrated, but called Adam (was probably around 8pm) he picked up the phone and had someone out to fix it the next morning. I got a free maintenance plan with them for a year after my purchase. I plan to continue the maintenance plan with them after the year is up. I would highly recommend Air Express.
