Had an issue with our A/C not turning on/connecting with thermostat. Jeremy from ACE heating and cooling was very responsive, knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to address the issue promptly. Visited my elderly aunt in Seffner mid-June and her a/c wasn’t working, just blowing hot air. I called early that morning and had a tech scheduled for later that morning. We have a home warranty company and have to use the vendor the warranty company selects for us. When our AC went out , I did not expect to deal with an awesome company like this. From start to finish I was totally impressed. Technicians Greg and Jake responded on different occasions and both were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Dealing with a warranty company, I was expecting to be without AC for several days. However, ACE made sure I was up and running by replacing my air handler coils within 48 hours! Definitely impressed! Great job by all!!

They are very professional. I contacted my home warranty company and they told me that Ace would contact me in 24 hours, instead I contacted them 3 hours after I put in the order for AC repair, the two customer service reps I spoke with, was very nice and professional. They sent someone out the same day. The technician actually arrived 30 minutes early, he was very professional and nice. He fixed the AC and explained why it wasn’t working. I highly recommend this company.

This is the second time we were fortunate enough to have Logan as our service technician. He is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Plus he’s efficient and does the job right the first time without any “up selling” or pressure tactics! How rare. The response time by the dispatchers is excellent, and you don’t have to wait forever for an appointment. They are extremely respectful of your time and provide a heads-up notice so you’re not waiting around. I would highly recommend Ace Heating and Cooling.

This is the second time that I’ve had ACE come out. Both times were for warranty issues. The first was something simple. I don’t remember the specifics but basically water needed to be drained. When I called the lady I spoke with was very helpful and even tried to help me trouble shoot. Just two days ago a neighbors tree fell on our house. I called our warranty company and they assigned a different provider. They assigned a different provide who I won’t name. I called them and they claimed they didn’t get my ticket and because it was so late we would have to wait until Monday. I was very frustrated so I called ACE to see if I could have someone come out and I would just pay out of pocket. I spoke with Crystal who told me that the warranty company could honor my choice of provider. She told me to call them back and if they wouldn’t help to ask for a manager. I was able to get everything switched over. The tech came out that night and quickly informed me that the tree was on a power line. He did a quick scan of the house and explained it was supercharged and it was really bad. He told us to unplug everything. I called the electric company while he was here and he even got on the phone and explained it to the electric company. (I know this is something I probably should have figured out on my own. However the power company had been out before and said it wasn’t a power line. Apparently there was a power line and then another line. I thought they meant that both were not power lines.). I was able to get the electric company out to fix the issue. Then this morning I was able to have ACE come out and fix the ac unit. We now have air conditioning again. I’m so thankful that they were able to come out so quickly not once but twice in less than 24 hours. I can only imagine what would have happened if I had to wait for the other company to come out on Monday. Everyone we worked with was so amazing. I’m so incredibly thankful and I can not recommend them enough!

I just had Logan out for a service call on my AC. He was also there a couple of months ago (I have a very old system). He is absolutely wonderful!! Very knowledgeable, professional, honest, and pleasant. Both times he called ahead like he said he would and was there right on time. I was assigned this company through my home warranty but would have picked them if I had a choice. The woman I spoke with in the office was also great. Thank you so much!

Our AC went out yesterday afternoon and it got hot pretty quick (as one might imagine being in Florida). We put in a ticket through American Home Shield late last night and received a call around 9am to schedule the appointment. I’ve had AC problems in the past and I’ve had to call the companies to try to get on the schedule and do the follow up. Not only was Ace was able to get me a same-day appointment but Jeremy showed up early (called ahead first to make sure we were home) and had the issue diagnosed within 10 minutes of being here. He had the part on his truck and had my AC up and running within another 10 minutes. Jeremy did an awesome job and I would definitely recommend Ace Heating and Cooling to anyone having issues with their AC system.

Eduins was amazing! We have had a couple of reps come out to service our unit and within 15 mins the issue was “diagnosed’. The following day we were back at square one! During Eduins initial visit, he took time to diagnose the issue and confirm the steps. His customer service and professionalism were top of the line! So much that when I called Ace to check in on the ordered part I complimented Eduins and they ensured he be assigned for the repair. During today’s repair, Eduin made sure to diagnose and repair the issue. He stayed to ensure things were working properly and again, his customer service was exceptional. I appreciate the service received today through ACE. They come highly recommended!!

We had very persistent problem with our AC, several technicians came out who were unable to fix it until Jeremy Kaiser from Ace Heating and Cooling in Brandon came to our house and fixed it in 5 minutes. I was assigned ACE Heating and Cooling for a claim through American Home Shield. The first company assigned to me never bothered to call so thankfully my case was reassigned to ACE. They were given my claim on Monday morning and were out the next day before noon. Jeremy had me up and running in just minutes as he quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it right away. He also went over some things I could do to get more life out of my AC and was very helpful. I will use ACE for all of my non warranty covered needs in the future and if I have another claim will insist they are my assigned company.

I went with Ace after being referred by my brother. When my AC went out, they were able to schedule an appointment quickly. They arrived right on time and were thorough in explaining to me what was going on. Reason why I am giving 5 stars, aside from their excellent customer service: my warranty was up to expire on June 1, 2019. AC went out on the 20th and they negotiated with the company to extend my warranty to Nov 2019. The part would have been $2,000! They really saved me. Super fair price for service and good, honest humans who came to do the work. Recommended them to my neighbors this week when their AC went out as well. Thanks, guys!!!

I was very happy with my experience with ACE Heating & Cooling. I was connected to them through American Home Shield the first night I had issues with my AC. I didn't want to wait until the next day for service (it was after-hours when I called) so I opted to pay the emergency service fee, and Jimmy from ACE was at my house within an hour. Jimmy was fantastic - very friendly and knowledgable and genuinely cares about his customers. He replaced a few parts that went bad and everything was back up and running. We needed to have ACE come back out a second time since I felt I was still having some issues with cooling (I have a very old unit), and we unfortunately did not have the best experience with the new technician that arrived that time and had to ask him to leave. However, Rick the service manager was quick to resolve the issue when I spoke to him and immediately sent Jimmy back to my house who worked on my unit for 2-3 hours in the rain and making sure I didn't have any other issues. All felt great in the house after. The next day the unit had another issue with the fan not running; this was nothing ACE could prevent since the unit is 22 years old and anything can happen. I made another appointment with ACE to come out. The issue seemed to resolve itself later that day, and I called ACE to let them know but they insisted I keep the appointment and have their technician come out anyway to make sure all was well. Gary came out and found a part inside the unit that was fried and about to stop working. He was professional and knew what he was doing, and it gave me a lot of comfort knowing they didn't leave until they made sure everything was working properly (and that they made me keep the appointment just in case)! No issues since thankfully! I really appreciated the professionalism of Gary, Jimmy, Rick, as well as Crystal who handles the office. All were great to work with and when a problem presented itself, they resolved it.

American Home Shield set-up my service with ACE and I am glad they did. The technician was great. He told me it could be one of two things wrong with my system. He was fast and correct in his assessment. They had to order the part needed, but Greg assured me it would be in and installed by Friday. The part came and Greg installed and tested the system. We were up and running just in time for the weekend. I am very pleased with ACE Heating & Cooling.

This company was sent to me via my Home Warranty program. It was after hours and they were able to get right to me, of course I had to pay the after hours charge of $75, but when your a/c is out in Florida you have to do that. The technician Andrew was on time calling before he arrived. He was professional, knowledgeable, and quickly got my system back online. We were fortunate to have Jeremy as our Ace Heating and Cooling technician and he did an outstanding job. It turned out we only needed additional coolant, but he checked the whole system A to Z. Today, my service technician was Jeremy and he was very polite and answered all of my questions regarding adding UV lights to two of my units to address mold and spores. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Our heat was out and I had a sick baby, so when I heard from the home warranty company that ACE would be providing service, I called right away to see how soon they could come out. Other providers in the past have told me I had to wait until they called me to schedule since it's through a home warranty. The young lady gave me no trouble and said someone would be out between 3p and 5p (this was around 1p) and he would call on his way. I got a call just before two, saying he had a cancellation and could come early if that was okay. He arrived in about 30 minutes, just as he'd said. When he got to the house he was very polite and professional. He saw the sign on our door asking to remove shoes since we have little ones, and he promptly took his shoes off without me saying anything. He listened to everything I had to say without making me feel like I was overreacting, and he was thorough in making sure the unit was working properly. He explained to me exactly what was going on and assured me he wouldn't leave me and my babies with a unit that was unsafe. He even told me to keep an eye out, because they guarantee their work for 60 days, so if absolutely anything concerning happened I could call back. I would 100% recommend this company!

ACE was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I first spoke with Crystal who scheduled a timely appointment for us to get our A/C checked out within 24 hours of our call. My a/c had stopped cooling and my AHS warranty sent my request to ACE Heating & Cooling. ACE got back to me within 24 hours and Jeremy came out the following day. He was early and called me 30-40 minutes before arriving. Jeremy was very quick to diagnose the problem and repair it. He, also, showed me all the bacteria growth I had inside the unit in the garage. The blower on my AC froze early Friday morning. I had two companies come out to diagnose it: the company that installed the new system three years ago and a company that performed maintenance on it about six weeks ago. They both came to the same conclusion but their fees for replacing the blower were exorbitant, especially on a weekend! I have an American Home Shield plan and submitted a request for service on Monday morning, expecting it to take a few days for resolution. I was so surprised! ACE called me a few hours after I'd put in my request and Julie had the technician, Jeremy, come to my house later that afternoon. They were great! Not only was the issue resolved, the ACE employees went above and beyond my expectations. Jeremy was professional and personable and Julie was friendly and professional as well. I highly recommend ACE Heating and Cooling; my experience with them has been great!

I called in for my first yearly a/c checkup, the customer service was excellent and the very next day Jeremy came out, inspected both the indoor and outdoor unit, cleared out the line, and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Greg is very knowledgeable and professional. He's the best heating and cooling technician I've ever had. Do keep in mind I've been in this home for over 25years therefore as you know things go wrong with an AC system that old. I've never come across anyone with Greg's knowledge. He's honest, not like those who will patch up things to get you by and a week or two later you have to call for service again. I scheduled an appointment to have my yearly A/C cleaning. The technician was very prompt, arriving within 20 minutes after the 2 hour window I was given for my appointment. He completed the cleaning of my air handler by flushing the drain pipe and vacuuming the condenser. He also cleaned the heat pump. He even vacuumed up the leaves at the bottom which I have usually have to request to be done. He was finished in about an hour. He was very polite and a pleasure to work with. This is my second year having Ace do my annual cleaning and I have recommended them to my friends as their work is better than most companies. They also have a very reasonable rate. Fantastic experience having a new A/C installed! Jeremy confirmed my 14-year-old unit was dead. He immediately set up an easy payment program to get at new one. Next day Michael and Greg showed up and cheerily set up the new unit on a day when the heat index was over 102 degrees! They were on time, fast and efficient. Jake returned for some finishing touches on the handler in the garage. He was extremely knowledgeable and nice. Jimmy (field mgr) advised me about sealing ducts in the attic that over the years had become unsealed. We contacted Ace because they are a recommended provider for our home warranty program. I called on Thursday afternoon and was able to get an appointment on Monday afternoon. Under some circumstances that might have been too long to wait, but not in this instance. The person answering the phone was a bit brusque but asked good questions to understand the issue. Our service tech, Logan, was on time and called when he was 15 minutes away. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed less than 30 minutes later, with no additional charges (because of the warranty program). Friendly, efficient, effective - highly recommended.

Well nothing but good things to say here. I submitted a claim through my home warranty (AHS) because my AC was not working as the fan blew out. It happened late Thursday night, I looked up the hours to ACE to see when I could call to make an appointment Friday morning. It said 9, sure enough they called me promptly at 8:07 AM! We discussed on the phone and confirmed for the appointment between 2-4 PM. Jeremy arrived at 10:50 AM! He came protected with a mask and glove due to the COVID social distancing, which I really appreciated due to having a pregnant wife and baby in the house. He was also polite and kind. He identified the issue as my fan needing to be replaced in the in-garage part of the system. He replaced and had the AC up and running in less than a hour. ACE Heating and Cooling is the best. When we had AC problems two years ago, we had two other companies come out to try to determine what the problem was. Both are very close to our home and lots of neighbors use them. Well, the AC still wasn't working and one of those companies tried to sell us a new system. Our Home Warranty company finally called on ACE H&C and Gary quickly isolated the problem, had the parts ordered, and repaired the system. It was the blower motor and no, we didn't need a new system. Our AC compressor may be older, but still in working order. The second time our AC went out, it was because the line needed to be vacuumed out, not replaced like another company said. Today, we insisted on ACE H&C coming out to our home to perform the work, and again, Gary was timely, prompt to isolate the problem, perform the repair (bad switch/relay) and he's so professional! No high pressure sales or talking about changing out the system. Our compressor will fail, but we have full trust and faith in ACE H&C, especially Gary to get the problem resolved and at a reasonable, fair price. They are the BEST!

I was referred to American Home Shield through my home warranty and was absolutely amazed how well they performed. From the service tech to the crew who installed my new AC unit, everyone involved was honest, respectful, and proud of being part of ACE. It took the installation crew almost 10 hours to put in my new AC system, but never once did they complain; in fact it wasn't until they were almost finished that they even asked for a drink because a tech's sugar was low. We had other AC companies come in and say that we needed to rebuild the duct work, and reroute everything, but ACE put a new system in, a new outside unit, and rebuilt the existing unit to work better. Our house has not been this cool in 10 years, and I have ACE to thank for that!!!!

Well in comparison to my service of last year 2017 This visit was a long stretch better. I had a person come out here named Kelvin. Who Was here on time , called 25 minutes before coming out identifying himself as a technician From Ace heating and Air conditioning. Upon arriving he noticed water on the garage floor went to A/C unit in garage corner finding it was indeed full of water. Asked a few questions then went out to start drawing the water with a vac system. I left him working and when he finished ,asked me to come out to explain in depth what he had done. This person was business wise and very experienced. I realized when he asked that I turn on my thermostat, I replied “I never turned it off”! And his reply was “ I did it from outside”. No need to track his feet onto my rugs and was careful to clean his shoes before coming in to turn on the unit . I thought to last year when the technician Logan came in my house to perform this procedure What a difference! I totally felt at ease with this new person today. Had a very stressful visit from that person last year and how refreshing to know that this company has technicians like Kelvin. Kelvin has totally reversed my business relationship with your company. I had two services done on May 8th, I apologize for being late with my review. First, Paul came out for a mainenance which I called for because my AC was underachieving, to say the least. Paul cleaned my coils but also saw that my supply vent was collapsed and causing my issue with slow cooling. He explained it to me and called the office to get me a price. Paul explained that another crew would have to come out. A little bit later Jimmy called and said that the parts were in stock and he could send someone out the same day, I was thrilled. Here came Ian and Greg!! More true professionals! Not only did Ian get under the house and fix the supply vent, he found and fixed the problem with my bedroom vent not producing but a smidge of air AND he advised me of a water leak!!! Ian went above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion! I am so pleased!

We stumbled across Ace H&C via our home warranty companies use of them due to our inefficiently running system and after they're work was completed our cooling system has never run so GREAT!! When a company like this does such complete and extensive work and conducts themselves so professionally during the entire process it really provokes someone to go online and give kudos to a job well done. Had they not found the bio-growth in my coils like the previous A.C. company had overlooked and removed 40% of our systems blockage our home warranty might could have been voided, no thanks to the other guys. The extra work that needed performed but was not covered by our home warranty company came out of our pockets but it was money well spent. He not only resolved my issue but he saved me money as well. A competitor gave me a quote for my issue and said I would need to buy a new part and have it installed. Logan, after he ran his diagnostic testing told me , No you do not need a new part, I can clean your existing part. He also said i would notice a big difference in Air Flow. Boy he was not kidding. It works so well now, I had to set the temp 2 degrees warmer, than I usually have it, because my normal setting is now too cold. Imagine that! Great Company and Awesome Tech! There is not enough good things I can say about ACE, my AC broke Monday evening at 530, ACE was there Tuesday at 2pm. The Tech " OLD Man Mike" diagnosed and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. After inspecting the unit they noticed it was just a dead lizard on the circuit board. I was only charged a small service fee of $75. I will def be using them again when I have too. I have had a problem with my ac for the last 2 years. All of the other companies there were 4 that came out all either said it couldn’t be fixed, or “its just florida so it cant be expected to get so cool” etc.... Today I put in a call and the same day they came out and Jeremy was in the house for all of 5 minutes and said I found the problem. I was expecting a big coolant bill, or major repair. But he was like “ let me show you the problem, and he did and took him just a few minutes to fix it and much to my amazement I didn’t need any refrigerant or to give them an arm and leg to repair. I read many positive reviews about Ace Htg. & Air prior to them contacting me to schedule the service call. I placed my need for service on on line and on Sunday morning. I received a call before 9 AM the next day to advise the technician would be out between 9 and 11. I then received a call from Greg the tech that he would be here in less than 30 minutes. On his arrival he began to access the issues and asking questions to find out the problem. In less than 45 minutes the problem was located and corrected. First off wow! Had another company working on my a/c system since February. They had been out 7 times. Amongst six other issues told me I had a broken motor after angrily banging on it for a half hour, breaking my tile underneath and left me sweating without admitting a thing. I Called my warranty company, they ditched the other company then said they we're sending out the big guns! Spoke with "D" at Ace Heating and Cooling while she was on her way home.... She pulled over, got me on the books... And sent in "The Man" after hours....he was there in 22 minutes flat. JIMMY Identified that the motor was not broken, in fact he had it back on in 3.5 minutes. He then found the second problem in 5 minutes flat, ordered the part, but left me cooling. Retuned the next day with the part, cooling better than ever! Jimmy followed up a day later to check on me, and replaced my thermostat for good measures! This guy would not leave until the job was perfect!! He cleaned the outside of my unit, and what he could of the inside, without me asking! Smelled like spring flowers and rain... Lol. We had not slept that comfortably in about 6 months. I want to start off by saying that ACE is a company that truly cares about their customers. I had them out to my house in July of 2018 for an A/C issue. Greg the technician arrived promptly as promised with a courtesy call before. My husband was there, Greg diagnosed the problem within a short time replaced the part and completed the service. Sunday April 7th 2019 we noticed the thermostat in our house was registering 81 degrees and temperature requested, showing 75 degrees and the house was not getting cooler. Put in a service request to our home warranty online. The next morning we were assigned a contractor coming from Deltona, FL. We live in Wesley Chapel, FL. I quickly contacted the warranty company and requested ACE. There was a little resistance but with the help of Jimmy and Cristal from ACE heating and Cooling I was able to get the service changed to a local contractor and received the same amazing service from Greg again. Through all of this the service provided was exceptional because this time we had a family member visiting from Texas fighting a very serious illness and could not get over heated and ACE understood that and took our personal situation under consideration. ACE came out to my house in San Antonio, FL after the first company (Total Air) that my American Home Shield (AHS) Insurance set me up with didn't show. The guys that showed up were Paul and Ray. Paul obviously the more experienced of the two was very professional and articulate without trying to talk down to me with regard to my A/C problems when I am sure he could have easily drowned me in technical terms. He was also very good at teaching (from what I could see) Ray. So they determined my problem was in the Condenser Coil. A part that would be covered by my insurance, but not the R22 Freon. He was very upfront about costs and provided me with repair verses new system options. The following day Rick (Manager) call and offered me yet more information as well as an additional discount. While I opted to go with a different company based on numerous things non of which are or were due to not being happy with ACE, I was very impressed with their entire operational procedure. Rick even told me how to get a refund from AHS for the coil. Very impressed. Last summer the air conditioning went out in our rental property and we called ace heating and cooling because of the reviews that we saw online. They were at the townhome within a few hours and had the air conditioning fixed almost immediately. Our renters were very happy!!! His name is Kameron. Our motor was about to go out apparently. he ordered the part that was under warranty and saved us some money.
